Bonten!Sanzu x Reader: Waking Up To You
♡ SFW, fem reader, wife!reader, mainly fluff but there's a suggestive part, soft!Sanzu ♡
note: I'm fixating on Bonten Sanzu rn, he's just so pretty 🌸
❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀
Imagine waking up and seeing Sanzu getting ready for work. His tie hanging loosely around his neck as he rushed back and forth looking for his keys. His eyes meet yours and he scolds himself for waking you up. He always tried to be as quiet as possible before he left, leaving gentle kisses on your head before he departed.
"Hey darling, how'd you sleep?"
You mumbled something along the lines of good, as you stretched and wriggled around underneath your fluffy blanket. You were always so cute in the morning (in his opinion anyway). The way the light from the window shined on your face made his heart skip a beat. Waking up next to you was the highlight of his morning and his entire day. His large, lanky figure hovered over you as he leaned down to kiss you goodbye. Sanzu always liked teasing you and it was no different in the morning when you were still sleepy. He planted soft kisses all over your face, purposely kissing everywhere except your lips.
"Haru stop teasing, I want a kiss on the lips!"
"Which ones?"
"Don't make me smack you."
"Okay okay, no need to threaten me."
He smirked at the annoyed look on your face before planting a long kiss on your lips. His hands cupped your face as your arms wrapped around him. He desperately wished he could stay home all day, wrapped in your loving embrace. But alas, he has a job to fulfill and he unfortunately can't just skip work to relax with his wife. He reluctantly pulled away from you and grabbed his keys off the nightstand.
"I'll see you sometime tonight, depending on what Mikey wants me to do. I love you princess~"
"I love you too Haru, come back to me in one piece 'kay?"
"I always do darling ♡"

I love to think that the real reason the members of the jury have to renounce their family and their past isn't because of some oath they take, no it's because when they take the power of the jury they start to lose who they once were. They forget those that they used to hold dear because of the powers their jury form lends them. They don't intend to forget and it's not instant, it's slow and gradual. Overtime it'll just feel like a dream, becoming unsure if there was anyone ever there to begin with.
This theory very heavily ties back in with Katelyn, why after the Irene dimension she wasn't too quick to go searching for her family, because at that point she had forgotten who they were a long time ago. She's no longer a member of the jury, no longer influenced by this memory fog. But it still lingers, throughout her time with aphmau and laurance she starts to remember little things, she knows there were people, those who she cared about. But she can't remember their names, who they were, who they wanted to be. She remembers feelings. It's why when she talks about her family in the later season she's so inconsistent, because she doesn't remember and it bothers her that she might never remember

[crawls out of my grave] how are my party rockers doing in the house tonight
It's in the suspicious square format but. uh. I don't entirely know if this counts as nsx v,ore, though, he is absorbed? There's a lot of swwh parallels? I believe the term is a "l,iving s,uit?" Anyways. This is 1Manband, the m,usic m,an who's a guy in a m,usic m,an flesh suit. Watch him be "born" and bask in the m,usic m,an gender euphoria.

horrified to find legendborn fans are commonly referring to the main ships by just saying the characters names sequentially. there's not even a common consensus on which way round, better tag both breenick and nickbree. this is disrespecting the time-honoured tradition of hundreds fandoms before us that paved the way: smashing names together. in a bid to return to our roots, and to make the names less unwieldy, i'd like to propose for your consideration: brelwyn. (i'm not making anything new with that one, i just think it should be standardised.) brick. and brickwyn. bree is always first, as she is the main character, and they flow a lot better. also brick is funny i think.

i really don't understand why shiori is so nearly universally hated by the fandom. like i surround myself mostly with people who do get her but i see some baffling takes sometimes still. she's just... not that bad? like yeah she's cruel and manipulative, but just in the way insecure teenagers often are. she's not uniquely terrible within the show's cast either. at least she never physically or sexually assaults anyone (unless you count black rose arc metaphors ? i guess) which is more than most other characters can say for themselves. do people just not try to understand her? are they just really defensive of juri for some reason?

I was a jury member for Elizabeth Holmes' fraud case. She was pronounced innocent.
She was later found guilty of triple homicide though.

Holy shit, point and laugh
I don’t really go on Reddit anymore, deleted mine four years and have been healthier for it, but I was looking for a contact of anyone on the organising committee of the Welsh music prize, that landed me from Google to r/wales and then… whatever the fuck this is. I’m getting secondhand embarrassment reading even just the headline. Urgh. Also just ‘why does the UK sound more sophisticated than the pooey colonies’ *forgets that a lot of commonwealth colonial accents came from the native languages of colonised speakers…
But for realisies though, who is on the Welsh Music Prize organising committee and can I send them an email

your tags on the ghostbat poll unfortunately sums up my opinion of DC. I find it genuinely hard to read recent comics because they can't be bothered to respect what the precedent writer did!
Myeah... sadly it's a bit my current stance on more than Ghostmaker's character too. I'm actively trying to read more Black Label or self-contained stories out of continuity, just because current continuity is a mess. I was recently talking to a friend about how even if I bitched about King or Tynion's writing when they were in charge of Batman, I still freaking tuned in. With Zdarsky's run (and not only) I am finding it hard to do it because I am finding it hard to care. It's just one Big Event after another. Joker War! Shadow War! Multiverse! Zurr-en-Arrh and Failsafe! Gotham War! (I swear to God if I see the word "war" in a title one more time--) It's not just that they can't be bothered to read what other writers did, it's also that they stupidly keep trying to up the stakes in a way that entirely undermines the stakes. I can't give a shit if you're telling me that Gotham's being torn apart and fought over every other week, how the hell is anyone still living there??

Una lucertola con la pelle di donna (A Lizard in a Woman's Skin, 1971)
"You dream of having an affair with this woman who lives next door. To you, that woman represents sin, moral degradation. The house next door is a symbol of vice. From what you've told me, Mrs. Durer is not exactly respectable."
"No... she certainly is not."
#una lucertola con la pelle di donna#a lizard in a woman's skin#lucio fulci#italian cinema#1971#roberto gianviti#josé luis martínez mollá#florinda bolkan#stanley baker#jean sorel#silvia monti#alberto de mendoza#penny brown#mike kennedy#ely galleani#george rigaud#leo genn#anita strindberg#basil dignam#ennio morricone#mesmerising. ymmv of course‚ and this does seem to be fairly divisive; I've read reviews by people who hated this or (even stranger to me)#found it to be poorly made. well not so‚ say i. Fulci in unusually restrained form‚ still stylish as all hell‚ but not allowing the visual#flourishes and artful winks at the audience to drown out the narrative. the plot itself is a twisty turny thing and almost in danger of#getting too involved in itself‚ but it all pulls together by the close. hard to see in the uk for many years because of a scene of animal#cruelty which ironically‚ for once in an Italian film‚ wasn't real but fx work; albeit fx work so convincing that it actually led to a cour#case and fx maestro Carlo Rambaldi having to demonstrate the effect in front of a jury to prevent Fulci potentially receiving a prison#sentence (or so the story goes). a longer waffling review is on my letterboxd but suffice to say that‚ for me personally‚ this was a hugely#satisfying watch after many years of anticipation. Bolkan is fascinating‚ mercurial; Strindberg (strangely uncredited) is understood only#from the pov of other characters; Baker is a wonderfully cold‚ dispassionate investigator of terrible crimes. and it all looks beautiful#plus it's one of a very few gialli set in the uk to actually bother going there to film! which means unexpected brit character actors!
