pondering how katelyn essentially replaces garroth in the gar/laur/aph dynamic during s2. like garroth, katelyn builds a rapport with laurance and becomes his comrade in arms. she plays the grounded, well-mannered, strategist to laurance’s impulsive, confrontational, casanova self. she also develops an close relationship with aph and acts as her personal guard, becoming extremely protective of her. honestly, katelyn slots in perfectly into this trio, adapting almost seamlessly and it allows her to grow and change as a person. and then garroth comes back. someone needs to be displaced. laurance leaves. you cannot have both.

i wanted to make her more muscular but i thought that as she isn't exclusively relying on her strength, but instead on her speed and flexibility, she's be a bit more lean but still have strong punching arms and more muscle on her quads

What I desperately needed to see in season two was KC coaching the three new meifwas how to be meifwas. Giving them advice and stuff about how to take proper care of their fur or their ears, how to sit in a chair so their tails don't bunch up, how to differentiate these new stronger smells and sounds, how to hold their ears or tails to display different emotions to other meifwas, how to act around others of your kind, how to act around those that aren't, etc. Little things could go a long way

This literally could have been like half an episode or so where we got a meifwa crash course, it would have been good for the characters and for the viewers. We could have gotten some vital information about tu'la and meifwas that could have been so interesting

Swiftfire:

Many felt it was unwise to let her join, they feared it made ShadowClan weak. But Cedarstar (Garte) took her as his apprentice, as a sort of debt for banishing her father. She has been shaped into a lethal weapon of the pine forest, the swiftest and deadliest warrior they have, a selected member of the nine great new warriors of ShadowClan, the strongest in the forest. Honors the warrior code in her own way, her time outside of the clans left her loathing the stars of their ancestors, she has a vendetta against StarClan and believes them as useless and incompetent and should leave their noses out of the lives of the living. Doesn't respect warriors who treasure the dead over the living, believes that too much faith in the stars above lead to foolishness, and Katelyn the FireFist is no fool

I needed katelyn to snap in diaries like genuinely, I wanted her to lose it in season three and leave everyone and do her own thing for some reason or another. Maybe it was for noble reasons, something akin to her own form of a vigilante, maybe it was selfish reasons. Maybe it was about the Jury, running away from her sins of the past, maybe it was to find the family she had forgotten after all this time, the family she was sure would have forgotten about her as well. I would've liked to see her and Lucinda do a little team up or something, maybe even Abby. I just feel like we didn't get a lot of katelyn lore or character development, and she was so tightly wound in that last season I think she was destined to snap for some reason or another
