Transformers All-Sparks: Joes and Foes
Tumblr media
The final major batch of human characters for my AU.
With the fall of Cobra thanks to Operation Ouroboros (AKA Operation "Make Cobra Eat Itself"), many of the G.I. Joes have either retired or transferred back to their original military branches.
Still, even as the main threat has essentially eaten itself, there's still many who wishes to change the world through the darkest and underhanded means possible. Some are true believers in that the world is a sickly place that needs to be upended. Others are just looking for a quick buck
Gen. Joe Colton: The ORIGINAL G.I.Joe, the man who inspired the creation of the Highly Trained, Special Mission Force. Leader of the original Adventure Team, whenever there was a mission too bizarre or too risky, Joe Colton was there to fight. Most who join, grow up on tales of Colton's heroism and courage. Most Joes, at least early on, felt that the stories are true… but as the foes become wilder and more bizarre, so did Colton's ruthlessness.
Simmons and Fowler both fear he Colton has too much power within the US Government, being considered nigh untouchable. "America's Shadow Emperor" as Simmons would call him.
Col. Abernathy, codename "Hawk": The last of the original G.I Joes still on the field, and a man dedicated to destroying anything in the world that causes disorder and chaos to the lives of man. If a bit too well. It was assumed that, now that Cobra ate itself and effectively no more, Colonel Hawk would finally rest.
He didn't. The concept of retirement is alien to him. He won't rest until every last trace of Cobra and affiliates are stamped out. He's still searching for Destro, wherever he is. He is especially bitter about the fact that everyone, from Duke to Scarlett, decided to retire or move on from the Joes.
Conrad and Ana, AKA Duke and the (Former) Baroness: The pair no one saw coming, but the two most responsible for the downfall of Cobra. Duke is an all-American hero, while Baroness was one of the best Cobra had to offer. However, an incident involving botched intel regarding a general by the name of Miles Mayhem meant that both got captured.
Their experience incarcerated by the bloodthirsty monster had a lasting impact on Duke, for in his mind, with what all that Mayhem was able to get away with, that the system he served was a broken one... and all to willing to throw whim on the bus. Ana remains cagey about her experiences, but the fact is, that her history with Duke on a personal level may extend FAR beyond their years serving either faction... and that Cobra, for all its resources and might, ultimately would never truly what she wants, for Cobra wanted to replace the corrupt "system" of the world with its own.
Being the best of the best, they of course escaped together, and Conrad and Ana went straight to Colonel Hawk. They revealed everything from Mayhem's underhanded ambitions with technology, to all the potential factions within Cobra, Hawk relayed all this to General Joe Colton, and so began Project Ouroboros, the operation to literally make the 'Cobra' devour itself. And it worked like a charm, with the death of Cobra Commander to boot!
In reward, Colton gave Ana her wish: Complete and utter freedom to live her life as she wished, free from any system of control or from prying eyes. Conrad and Ana now live quietly with one another... and surely nothing will EVER ruin it for them!
Lance J. Steinberg, AKA 'Clutch': master of vehicular engineering, and the best (and craziest) driver the Joes ever had. He's now retired, and owns a rather successful auto-repair business. A rather swell guy who, miracle of miracles, managed to live a fulfilling life of a civilian. Serves as Duke's closest pal in retirement. Still unused to the fact his best friend shacked it up with the Baroness of all people, but hey, everything worked out in the end!
The Bad Guys
Destro: With the death of Cobra Commander, and the splintering of the whole organization, it is Destro who holds the title of Cobra's leader... or what's left of the core. He still works behind the scenes as an arms dealer, but now has to further lay low as to not get on the radar of Hawk and Colton. Has a sincere belief, with enough time, he can turn his criminal empire into a real one like Rome.
Has a petulant, almost all-consuming grudge against Duke and Ana.
Silas: Leader of MECH, once simply a cell of Cobra, now a formidable organization of its own. Cold, cunning and ambitious, he sees the world as a failing thing with failing nations, and aims to wrest power from the world with what he perceived has worked for millenia: The most advanced technology and a LOT of manpower. Works with Destro due to his connections, arms and money.
"Joe Colton strives to preserve a failing world and it failing nations. Not realizing that if one sees the opportunity, one has to grasp it with their own two hands"
Dr. Meridian: Protector of Mankind! Haunted by an accident by a creature he swore is real, he dedicates his life (and work) to making sure that mankind can protect itself from such potential threats. He believes that adopting technology to improve the self vs. Dr. Sumdac's innovations with robotics technology to help mankind. Works most closely with Silas, and with Destro out of convenience.
Joshua Joyce:
Destro, Silas and Meridian all have hidden elements. Destro runs the underground, Silas tries to be incognito as much as possible, and while Dr Meridian has a reputation, he's not exactly well known by the public.
Joshua Joyce on the other hand? Everyone knows him. He made your favorite app, your favorite phone, and so many, MANY things. He's the cool inventor type! Or at least that's the image he deludes himself on, as most of his "innovations" were actually done by others. He just patented the stuff.
On the other hand, there's been a lotta rumors of neat new high tech gear in the underground, he just knows people to come in contact with. He missed out on Sumdac's robo revolution, and his ego demands that he be a real revolutionary in tech!.

sit down
pairing: joshua x reader word count: 0.6k synopsis: joshua wants needs you to ride his fingers. genre/themes: SMUT! minors dni! fingering. est relationship. thigh-riding adjacent almost? kind of needy shua.
a/n: yo idk this came out of nowhere. but thanks to @baljinciaga and @here4btsfics for encouraging it LMAO not edited, lmk if you see errors
Tumblr media
"what's that?" you asked joshua. you thought you'd heard him calling you from the living room.
"come here," he cooed at you. had it been a few weeks ago, you wouldn't have assumed anything, but you could now recognize the deviousness hidden behind his deceptively sweet smile.
"why?" you swallowed, slightly nervous.
he patted his thigh, still smiling serenely. brow furrowed, you placed your tea on the coffee table before perching gingerly atop his knee. his hands clasped around your waist possessively as he looked up at you.
"what's gotten into you?"
"i was just thinking." he replied with a cat like grin.
"thinking about?" your eyebrows raised at him.
"..." for a moment you almost thought he looked shy, until he opened his mouth. "i was wondering if you would sit on my fingers," he whispered into the crook of your neck, his breath tickling at your ear.
"what?" you almost choked.
"i've been thinking about what my fingers would look like with you sinking down around them," he groaned. "i need to watch them spread you open."
"shua," you exhaled sharply, squirming at his confession.
"will you?" he asked, lips nibbling at your shoulder.
"yes," your breathy exhale was like music to his ears.
you thought you heard him murmur 'thank god', but you were too busy hiking your dress up around your hips to be sure. joshua rested his hand on his thigh with his middle and ring fingers angled upwards as his eyes drank in the exposed skin of your thighs.
you held your breath as you straddled him, placing your hands lightly on his broad shoulders for support. your pulse raced at the way his eyes flicked over you before settling at the apex of your thighs. you lowered yourself until his fingertips met your folds, slick from his sinful request. his eyes burned into you as he watched you spread, wet and lewd, and you sank down, slowly, on him. knuckle by knuckle, his fingers disappeared into you until you were sat on his hand, his palm cupping your mound.
"ride me. grind yourself on me," he urged you desperately.
your breath caught as he nudged you with his thigh, pulling your attention to the present. you nodded, rocking your hips against him. you whined at the way his knuckles stroked inside of you. ribbed for your pleasure indeed.
“shua!” his name fell from your lips as your walls contracted around him.
“yes baby,” he nodded. you weren’t sure if he was answering you or just egging you on, but it didn’t really matter. “wanna see you cum like this.”
you let out a soft whimper and the wet sounds of your hips meeting his palms are almost dizzying to him.
“one more,” you met his gaze, brows knitted together in desperation.
“what?”
“another one, please,” you begged. you needed to know if you could handle just a bit more.
“really want me stretch you out, huh?” his pupils dilated as he curled his index finger into you. it’s a tight fit.
your mouth fell open as you realized just how tightly you were stretched around him now. your movements grew sloppy as you rocked against his three, thick fingers and his palm. you were done for.
“shua,” you whined, lowering your forehead to his shoulder as he worked his fingers impossibly deeper inside of you. “i’m gonna cum,” you panted desperately as your walls started to pulse around him. he can feel it too.
he watched as you constricted around him, chest heaving with ragged breaths as you came. watching you come undone is one of his favorite activities. as you came down, his free hand hooked around your waist to support you and when you were ready, he picked you up and carried you to bed.
the cup of tea that you’d made earlier sat alone on the coffee table. it was quite a while longer before you recalled its existence again.

Daily Devotional “Bearing The Reproach of Christ”Be different!December 06, 2023 ✓ Subscribed Moses considered “the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen” (Hebrews. 11:26-27). When you suffer for Christ, you bear His reproach. How…

What's next for Zhilei Zhang?

What's next for Zhilei Zhang?
Despite all the credit boxing has earned in 2023, the biggest disappointment has been the heavyweights.
Tyson Fury has found a way to significantly boost his bank balance without doing any serious boxing. Oleksandr Usyk, other than one controversial round, made light work of a mandatory challenger who was out of his depth. Anthony Joshua is in a rebuilding phase, producing nothing spectacular or resembling the Joshua of old following his back-to-back losses to Usyk. Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr are nowhere to be seen. Dillian Whyte was withdrawn from a Joshua rematch after failing a PED test.
2023 has been a great year for boxing but an absolute shambles for the heavyweights.
However, arguably the most notable exception came in April and the introduction of a new top heavyweight contender who breathed life into a gun-shy blue-riband division.
Previously undefeated Joe Joyce, deemed to be the biggest threat to the elite, was no longer undefeated after six brutal rounds with China’s Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang. Joyce had swiftly built a real reputation in the professional ranks. The 2016 Olympic silver medalist may appear slow and defensively vulnerable, but he won his first 15 fights by imposing his size and power with a relentless engine and pressure, with a high volume and a granite chin, steamrolling nearly all in front of him.
Joyce then came up against Zhang. The Chinese heavyweight matched Joyce in size and power, with superior speed and movement, and is a crafty southpaw. The referee brought a halt to the contest in the sixth round after severe swelling to the eye of Joyce.
In the rematch, Joyce suffered a devastating third-round knockout defeat. After a cagey opening round, Zhang closed the distance in round two and found his range, landing solid shots with consistency to Joyce’s head. In the third, Zhang put all of his nearly 290lbs behind a beautiful southpaw right hook that flattened Joyce for the first time in the Brit’s professional career. This punch would have cleaned out any heavyweight in the world today and introduced Zhang to the heavyweight top table, undoubtedly a top 5 heavyweight in the world.
Now that Zhang has entered the heavyweight elite conversations, the main question is, who is next for Big Bang?
Fury and Usyk have reportedly signed contracts for an upcoming undisputed showdown. Of course, you cannot be faulted for wondering why there is no date, and some may understandably remain skeptical all the way up until both men are in the same ring and the first bell goes. For now, though, this announcement rules out an immediate title shot for Zhang. As the WBO Interim titleholder, Zhang is the WBO mandatory, meaning he will be in line for a title shot once undisputed is out of the way.
Joshua, however unlikely, would be a great upcoming fight for Zhang. With the desired Wilder fight in January off the table, Joshua may be on the lookout for an alternative opponent in December. Zhang, however, seems unlikely. After consecutive losses to Usyk, the last thing Joshua needs right now is to face an intelligent southpaw with a troublesome backhand and bags of composure. Nevertheless, what a statement it would be by Joshua if he were to take on the assignment and pass with flying colors. Other than actually beating Usyk in a trilogy fight, there is no other better fight for Joshua to potentially get rid of those Usyk demons.
If Zhang was to face Wilder, it is hard to think of another heavyweight fight that would contain as much power in the same ring. Wilder has 42 knockouts in 43 wins, and Zhang has stopped 21 opponents in 26 wins. Moreover, the story of the power possessed by these two men goes beyond quantifiable stats. It lies even more in the fact that both have a track record of putting a dent in fighters who have never previously been stopped and becoming the first to do so. Deontay Wilder did it brilliantly twice with Luis Ortiz, and Zhang recently did it with Joyce. Wilder and Zhang have defensive vulnerabilities, meaning this would be an explosive fight destined not to go the distance.
Perhaps the fight Zhang deserves the most while awaiting a title shot is a shot at redemption in a rematch with unbeaten Croatian Filip Hrgovic, to whom he dropped a tight decision in August 2022. With both men on the verge of collapsing from exhaustion as the fight neared its end after Zhang had knocked Hrgovic down in a close fight, it appeared Zhang had done enough to nick the win. Redeeming the only blemish on his career against a fellow top contender could also be a very attractive proposition for Zhang if the opportunity presented itself. Of course, with Hrgovic’s IBF mandatory situation, the Croat may not be interested in revisiting those old, risky deep waters.
What Zhang has now done with that universe-shaking big bang of a wallop against Joyce is reignite a stagnant heavyweight division. We may be on the verge of the first undisputed heavyweight showdown since 1999, but for this moment in time, during a year in 2023 that has been poor for the heavyweights, Zhang was a savior for the division.
Who would say no to Fury vs. Zhang, Usyk vs. Zhang, Joshua vs. Zhang, Wilder vs. Zhang, or Hrgovic vs. Zhang rematch? Suddenly, a new challenger has entered the scene. He did it the right way, too. There were no questionable sanctioning body antics or political movements. He did a number on the world-ranked heavyweight that stood across him twice.
At 40, Zhang does not have long left in this game. Let’s hope that outstanding win against Joyce wasn’t for nothing and this gun-shy heavyweight division gives him a chance.

GCs claim to campaign for the “safety” of women and children. I’ve long suspected this was confined to the “right kind” of women and children. Kathleen Stock, a former trustee of the “LGB Alliance” (public statements of which include “adding the + to LGB gives the green light to paraphilias like bestiality…”) appeared (to me) to suggest that it would be “more honest” for high-profile trans allies to publicly “declare” if they have trans children. Her post made no mention of obtaining the children’s consent. It seems reasonable to interpret this as a call for the public outing of certain trans children. Given “out” trans children have been murdered and 64% are subjected to bullying, it strikes me as, at the very least, callous. Joey Barton, one of the movement’s most high profile (and oft platformed) voices, will shortly stand trial accused of assaulting his wife. Donald Trump, who was found by a jury to have sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll, has increasingly made attacks on trans people a campaign talking point. The GC movement has claimed a degree of legitimacy based on previous legal successes, notably the case of Forstater v CGD Europe, in which GC beliefs were declared “worthy of respect in a democratic society”. Some seem to have interpreted this as a licence to persecute trans people. This summer three separate courts gave clear statements to the contrary. The Employment Tribunal upheld the sacking of teacher Kevin Lister after he equated being transgender (as one of his students was) with having a mental illness. The High Court upheld an order banning Joshua Sutcliffe from teaching children after he repeatedly misgendered a child in his care. In Australia, the Federal Court prohibited a dating app from discriminating against trans women. The message from the courts is clear: GC beliefs are worthy of respect, but GCs must also respect trans people. The summer of court losses also undermines the movement’s claims to expertise. High profile GC activists often hold themselves out as experts. The courts made clear that many are no such thing. Maya Forstater gave “expert” evidence in the Sutcliffe case. The judge was “not persuaded that she is properly described as an expert”, noting: “Ms Forstater explained that the use of non-preferred pronouns in this case might be due to cognitive dissonance. Mr Phillips was not, however, able to identify any medical expertise that she might have to opine on that issue.” Helen Joyce, Director of Advocacy at the GC group “Sex Matters”, purported to give “expert” evidence in the Australian case. The judge said she: “…does not have any formal education or qualifications even in biology, let alone in gender, sex or law… she is not an expert at all. She has no recognised expertise in any of the areas in which she expresses an opinion.” In April the Cass Report gave a veneer of scientific legitimacy to the GC movement’s various claims. Both Labour and the Conservatives used the report as justification to prevent trans children from accessing puberty blockers (which, contrary to popular myth, do not prevent puberty but, rather, delay its onset). Cis children are still given access. The report was swiftly rejected by medical bodies around the world. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Endocrine Society said, in a joint statement, “Medical evidence, not politics, should inform treatment decisions”. The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists followed suit. The British Medical Association called Cass’ claims “unsubstantiated”. I’d argue the report was largely debunked by a Yale School of Medicine review.

Nightbird's creators were the best money could buy, where that money came from, though.. was less than ideal (try to identify each cameo lol)
Tumblr media
Led dr.Fujiyama the famous scientist, not even nightbird herself could hope to replicate their combined genius, being able to interact with such renound and distinguished peers was a factor in getting them to agree to work on the project but the money was nice too, however the source of that money, the industrialist joshua joyce made the work unbearable and after the project was complete, the researchers all unanimously agreed to never do this again, leaving nightbird as one of a kind,
the two cyborgs on the team, Dr. fly and Dr. Arkevile were instrumental in developing nightbird's electronic brain
Dr. greene and Dr. Onishi created nightbird's special perpetual electric engine, Professor baranova designed nightbird's chameleonic outer shell, prodigy chip chase designed nightbird's guidence systems, nobody really knows what doctor bridget did
But at the end of the day, she wasn't made just to be a show piece, forces older than any man seem to be behind joyce's company's interest in the project,
