Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace Movie Review

Faith-based films have evolved over the past several years, branching into genres like horror, western, and action. Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace, directed by Ali Zamani, falls into the latter. This sequel to Angels Fallen follows Gabriel, a wounded soldier called by a higher power to stop a demonic invasion led by the archangel Michael. Teaming up with his old comrades and experienced demon fighters, Gabriel must combine strength and faith to save the world.

While the film is somewhat campy, it has a fun spirit. The world-building, from demon-fighting rules to the production design, adds a layer to the experience. Notable moments include Denise Richards' playful role as Deborah, who runs an armory, and Cuba Gooding Jr.'s action-packed flashback as Balthazar. The action scenes, including a strip club fight and a motorcycle chase, are well-choreographed, with even the CGI demon battles holding up decently. The unexpected blood and nudity add a more modern touch to this faith-based action flick.

Josh Burdett portrays Gabriel with the right emotional weight, while Michael Teh shines as Michael with his confident, dark performance. Unfortunately, the rest of the cast struggles with underwritten material. The CGI, though better than most indie films, is hit or miss.

Despite its flaws, Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace stands out among recent faith-based films. Its mature tone makes it more accessible to adults without being overly preachy. It’s more entertaining than expected, so if you enjoy faith-based action, it's worth checking out.

Uau 👏🏻👏🏻 Que filme! Feito por artistas sobre artistas, valorizando as artes plásticas, e principalmente a arte de viver. Van Gogh era intenso, teve uma vida conturbada desde a infância, teve que lidar com a rejeição familiar, isso com certeza influenciou muito em sua vida adulta.

E embora seu reconhecimento artístico pleno tenha sido tardio, após seu falecimento, ele com certeza fez a diferença por onde ele passou, todo mundo deixa uma marca na história da vida de alguém, e sua obra de arte continua até hoje, falando sobre a beleza da criação de Deus, expressando a essência criativa humana, que também reflete a Deus, pois Ele é Deus-Criador e somos feitura d'Ele, portanto somos criativos por natureza.

Há alguns anos atrás, estava eu e minha mãe em uma livraria de um shopping, que hoje em dia nem existe mais, Shopping Villágio, e como amante de livros e arte, fui folhear os livros da categoria infanto juvenil "julgando os livros pela capa sim" hehe, abrindo os livros que tinham uma capa interessante. Um dos livros que abri eu me apaixonei logo de cara e também pelo conteúdo, pelo estilo de ilustração do escritor-artista, as cores utilizadas, a estória, e pelo diálogo entre este livro com a arte e artistas foi o "Uma noite muito muito estrelada". Só tinha um livro, comprei, valeu o investimento. Quem gosta de literatura e ilustração e tiver interesse, eu indico esse com certeza, cita algumas obras de arte e seus artistas.
