______________________________
🌌 Bug Facers had a bartering/trade system rather than a cash system. This trade system was highly complex; people who tried to pass off their goods as being more high-quality than they really were were punished severely. They also had a monarchy, with the Queen being 25% larger than the other people. Her citizens were taxed and the best food went to her. Her function was the same as that of an ant's queen. Actually, more to the point, I picture their monarchy as being similar to that of ant's. However, after their invasion, the monarchy was dissolved and turned into a democracy.
🌌 Despite their relative immobility, the Temptors actually developed some form of culture. Males would spread ideas between females, who rued the fact that they could not meet other members of their species. I also feel that the males could talk, though their enunciation wasn't really that good. Based on the sharpness and shape of their beaks, it's possible they were all-purpose feeders who preyed on insects, nuts, and other worms. The females required three times the amount of food as males in order to provide enough energy for their brains.
🌌 The Lopsiders actually experienced some sexual dimorphism. The reason for this is because their designs remind me of anglerfish. Females were markedly larger than males, and the males depended on the females for sustenance. This was slowly phased out as they evolved, as the species would cannibalize others for food. They had no trade system; they operated under a "it's yours if you're fast enough mentality."
🌌 Because their experience became so automized, the Tool Breeders actually evolved away from actually having blood at all! As a result, their flesh became more gelatinous. While a drought would have slowly but surely dehydrated the species' flesh and caused the end of the species, they learned how to make water from seemingly thin air. They have a capitalistic system that constantly pushes new inventions.
🌌 Much of the Titan's mythology focused on figures who were more mobile; ie., those that had two legs. When a Titan was born with two limbs, they were hailed as a god. They were seen as prophets and harbingers of good luck. They emphasized an ideal that the species could no longer go back to.
Since they lived in a savannah, they also grew thick skin on their bodies to account for the insects and the spikes on their favorite plants. They also transferred to a more vegetarian diet, consuming foods similar to those that giraffes and African elephants eat.
🌌 Hand Flappers had mating dances similar to those of birds-of-paradise. Had they developed sapience, Hand Flappers would have pioneered acting as an art form, using their wings to emphasize their stories. High-class Hand Flappers wore bracelets of precious metals that surrounded their wings. Wing care became an important social aspects; to groom someone else's wings was tantamount to declaring your love for them.
🌌 Satryiacs had fairly short lifespans, which accounted for the amount of parties that they had. As a result, their minds matured remarkably quickly: by their first birthday, their minds were already fully developed. Their bodies followed soon after, and six months later, they were already considered adults. They had very loose views on monogamy; as a concept it simply did not exist. They had relationships with whomever they wanted, whenever they wanted.
🌌 Despite their lack of sapience, the Blind Folk actually had fairly defined parental relationships, mirroring that of humans on Earth. Blind Folk babies were born helpless and unable to do much of anything. A cry from a baby would inspire all the adults in the surrounding area to come to their aid, a fact that was occasionally exploited by predators.
🌌 If put on Earth's atmosphere, Spacers would get crushed underneath their own weight. Also, since they have such modified internal systems, they do not need to eat. However, they need to sleep for fourteen hours in a day to recuperate enough energy to move.

Supernatural Episode Reactions up to S1E19
Episode 1: Sam and Dean look like babies, probably because I'm used to seeing them in more recent seasons.
Episode 2: I thought that not really showing the creature that much was an interesting way to up the stakes of the episode, and probably save money.
Episode 3: This episode was messed up, but it was also one of the first episodes to focus on how humans can create these situations through violence and silence.
Episode 4: I did not know that demons showed up so early in the show, and this one was surprisingly weak compared to the others that I know show up later.
Episode 5: This episode was fucked up and they have to have several decades worth of bad luck after smashing that many mirrors.
Episode 6: I had to text my friends who have seen the entire show to ask if this was the yellow eyed demon or an actual shapeshifter.
Episode 7: The twist of it being the girl who the spirit was latched onto was very fun. Also, there is no way that that fire got hot enough to melt silver, especially not the amount that they were melting.
Episode 8: The bugs being used as the method of death was very interesting and I hope there are more episodes with interesting premises like it.
Episode 9: I immediately knew that the fire spirit was Mary as soon as I realized it was there house. I also thought that John showed up much later in the show.
Episode 10: Again, fucked up episode, but I liked the classic ghost hunting, abandoned building situation.
Episode 11: The fugly scarecrow scene is iconic, and I enjoyed the exploration of Sam and Deans feelings about the road so far, and each other.
Episode 12: I had seen most of this episode at some point, but I appreciate the really hammering down on Sam being just as willing to do anything to save Dean.
Episode 13: I liked the exploration of Dean's character and how he handles relationships outside of his immediate family. I also watched this episode with my mom and she kept saying that the truck was really nice (I know exactly nothing about trucks).
Episode 14: They almost killed Zelda Spellman! I liked the fact that the yellow eyed demon has been confirmed as having killed other people the same way it killed Mary, and that the children of these people have developed similar powers, further connecting these incidents.
Episode 15: I liked that the monster was people, and they were 100% cannibals.
Episode 16: I don't like Meg. I don't know what she is yet, but I do know that she's going to be showing up again, probably by the end of the season. This episode also made me think that John Winchester was not originally intended to be as bad of father as I know he is shown to be throughout the rest of the series. He's still a horrible parent, but he seems to care about Sam and Dean more in the first season than he does later on.
Episode 17: I did not know that the Ghost Facers showed up this early. They're so stupid. Loved the episode.
Episode 18: Fascinating look into the past of Sam and Dean, how Dean and John's relationship works, and how Dean views hunting. I also thought it was spelled "striga" (I have subtitles on).
I will continue reactions tomorrow, and I plan on doing longer, individual posts for each episode. I'll also try to put these into a master list so they're easier to find.
Edit: I'm working on understanding how to make a master list properly, so I might tack multiple reactions into the same post or reblogs for the sake of it not being incredibly long.

Ultimately, however, what happened to Humanity does not matter. Like every other story, it was a temporary one; indeed long but ultimately ephemeral. It did not have a coherent ending, but then again it did not need to. The tale of Humanity was never its ultimate domination of a thousand galaxies, or its mysterious exit into the unknown. The essence of being human was none of that. Instead, it lay in the radio conversations of the still-human Machines, in the daily lives of the bizarrely twisted Bug Facers, in the endless love-songs of the carefree Hedonists, the rebellious demonstrations of the first true Martians, and in a way, the very life you lead at the moment."
hitting me with the beautiful and poignant all tomorrows bit huh... you have no idea how big of an impact all tomorrows left on me. or maybe you do? anyway. this excerpt never fails to get me feeling some kind of way

thinking about a TADC and All Tomorrows crossover:
pomni- satyriac (because they're all about fun and partying so it fits with a clown, plus a satyriac who's anxious and miserable all the time is funny)
ragatha- snake person (no particular reason, just seems cute)
jax- killer folk (furry-adjacent, and having big sharp claws would suit him I think)
gangle- idk maybe a symbiote? not sure about this one
zooble- modular people (duh)
kinger- bug facer (because bugs and also they're scared of everyone)
and caine is a qu of course

Hi! What’s a song that makes you think of your favorite character or ship from Bob’s Burgers?
this is gonna be long so prepare lol
i have playlists for all of my ships (no surprise i'm sure lol).
for zekina, the very first song that ever made me think of them is Not Like I'm In Love With You by Lauren Weintraub. that's that song that made me have my "oh! oh." moment lol. Delicate and King of My Heart by Taylor Swift will always be about them to me. Friends Don't by Maddie & Tae. Sleeping With A Friend by Neon Trees. What Ifs by Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina. Little Bit Better by Caleb Hern and ROSIE. and let's end this with The Alchemy by Taylor Swift.
for Barryl we're not gonna talk about how long that playlist is lmao this crackship has CONSUMED me. Riptide by Vance Joy, Ophelia by The Lumineers, ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine, Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez and Em Beihold, Steal The Show by Lauv, Enchanted by Taylor Swift, The In Between by Khloe Rose, just about every song on 1989 by Taylor Swift lol but namely Wonderland and You Are In Love. Hero by Faouzia, Last Man Standing and Royalty by Livingston (love love LOVE him), aaaaaaaaand Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter.
my playlist for Hemita is shamefully short compared to the other two but there are still some good ones on there. Afterglow by Taylor Swift, Lay By Me by firekid, and Dreams by Jada Facer and Dave Moffatt are the ones that will always make me think of them.
if I got into every song that makes me think of my faves we'll be here all day lol so let's name a few for my main kiddos.
Zeke - Singles You Up by Jordan Davis, Run Away to Mars by TALK, All Eyes On Me by Bo Burnham, I Would Change Everything by Lost Stars (waiting anxiously for them to blow up and become big), Tiny Dancer by Elton John (no one is surprised by this lmao), Not While I'm Around from Sweeney Todd but specifically the version sung by Gatan Matarazzo, and let's end this off with the country version of Blinding Lights by Tebey.
Tina - According To You by Orianthi, Till You're Ready by Navvy, The Archer by Taylor Swift, and Friends to Lovers by Melina KB.
Becky - Numb Little Bug by Em Beihold, Stranger by Lillian Mae (begging people to listen to this song it's so good), You Just Didn't Like Me That Much by Leanna Firestone, Your Daughter by Dina Rebekka, Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? by Taylor Swift, and The Ballad of Jane Doe from Ride the Cyclone sung by Emily Rohm.
Darryl - Riptide by Vance Joy, Ophelia by The Lumineers, Heat Waves by Glass Animals, All Time Low by Jon Bellion, Shelter by Porter Robinson and Madeon (this one is more vibes than anything else idk), Sunflower by Post Malone and Swae Lee, and Michael in the Bathroom from Be More Chill sung by George Salazar.

A fan made All Tomorrows family tree I fussed over quite a lot before settling on this version. It includes human lineages, other earthlings, and a few aliens. I did this mainly to add context to the book's family tree and organize some groups for clarity. And if you can believe it, this isn't even the whole roster of species, but I kept the well known species and their cohorts and ancestors in the picture as much as I could.
I found a lot of trouble trying to tie posthuman groups together with the boxes (miMind will try to attach them to the nodes because the boxes are just big nodes), and conveying the less obvious connections to some groups as indicated by the dotted lines. I'm aware there are more that should've been added, but, at a certain point I wanted to avoid added visual noise.
Now there's no way all the information thus far can fit into the ALT text feature, so it's probably best to take a crack at it here.
The very top starts with a non-human, therizinosaurs, to contextualize what Panderavis pandora is. Or, was. The green outline for these nodes indicates it's a reptile. I stuck it in the node closest resembling a coffin because Panderavis went extinct well before it was discovered.
The modern humans split off into two nodes, the Earth Humans, and the Martians. They had eventually interbred to create the Star People, who then discovered Panderavis bones.
The Star People hereafter had almost all populations genetically modified by the damselfly-like aliens known as the Qu, or Quhanim.
Under the posthuman lineages that died out during bottleneck events are: Mantelopes, Bone Crushers, Temptors, Hand Flappers, Blind Folk, Titans, Striders, and unknown others.
One lineage of Star Person went into hiding and avoided the Qu, which are the Spacers.
The surviving lineages that were Qu modified are:
Insectophagi, Ruin Haunters, Swimmers, Lopsiders, Colonials, Parasites and their Hosts, Worms, Finger Fishers, Flyers, Lizard Herders, Hedonists, and Predators with their Prey.
Note the Lizard Herders co-existed with a reptile originally from planet Earth, which had become the Herd Lizards. As appropriate, their outline is also green.
Onwards to the second empire era posthumans as indicated with blue fill and outline, with one notable green exception. Insectophagi gave rise to the Bug Facers, Ruin Haunters the Gravitals, Swimmers the Tool Breeders, Lopsiders the Asymmetric People, Colonials the Modular People, Parasites and Hosts the Symbiotes, Worms the Snake People, Finger Fishers gave rise to aerial species and the marine Sail People, Flyers gave rise to aquatic and terrestrial species along with the aerial Pterosapiens, Spacers became Asteromorphs, the Lizard Herders became Human Steeds, Hedonists turned Satyriacs, and the Predators became the Killer Folk. Prey still exist, but some of them are farmed.
And the one species that is considered arguably more human than the posthuman steed it coexists with, is the Saurosapients. They're descended from Herd Lizards.
The big box enveloping most of these posthumans indicates they were eradicated by the Gravitals, thus ending the second empire. Although most precursors went extinct in the sense they all evolved into their second era iterations, there is at least one exception. The Lopsiders still existed with the Asymmetrics, and were wiped out by their descendants. Only the Asteromorphs, Bug Facers, and Gravitals themselves remained.
The Gravitals then subjugated and modified the Bug Facers into the Subjects.
Meanwhile the Asteromorphs underwent further changes into godlike forms. They usurped the Gravitals, who were altered into the New Machines, and rescued the Subjects, who became the Rescued Subjects. The Asteromorphs, being hands-off parents of this new humanity, created Terrestrial forms of their kin to withstand gravity and watch over their Subjects on their home planets.
These are a few lineages left of what was once humanity, and an alien with an equally complex yet unknown history enters, the Amphicephali.
New Machines, Rescued Subjects, Asteromorphs, Terrestrials, and Amphicephali are indicated as coexisting in this new era with red.
The Qu descend from an unknown species, and the Author character's descent is equally mysterious.
And that about wraps it up. I've left out fan theories around the origins of the Amphicephali, Qu, and Author alien in trying to keep this chart objective to the original book. It may outdate itself once the redux is published, and there might not be a "need" for another fan chart if CMK includes one in the redux and polishes it to a shine. We'll see in a few years, realistically speaking.

Artist ask game 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 20, 25, 27 👀 (No pressure to answer all of them, it was just a really good list)
1. Art programs you have but don't use Remember months ago when Rebelle went on sale for like $10? Yeah I bought it and havent touched it since. I also have Blender but I'm too used to Maya
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even) Left, definitely. Begging you for all my net worth please never make me draw someone facing forward with a neutral expression (ie the expression on all character ref sheets)
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw Our beloved crab spider man :3 (Godrick the Grafted). He's got some good flow to him and I think he'd be fascinating to draw more, but my god. Sweetie. Why so many fucking arms. Where is your center of gravity. H e l p
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in
Tumblr media
I don't know how many people remember this painting I did back in 2021, when All Tomorrows was popular, but I remember wanting to make a mini comic with this where this Bug Facer meets a Symbiote who takes her out for coffee and lunch and he chats about how amazing it is that in the cosmic scale of the galaxy, it was infinitesimally lucky that they all got to meet, let alone be physically in the same space, let alone survive after the Qu. Then he says he knows she's not an alien anyone's ever seen before, her method of stealth was terrible, and then asks her about her culture. I believe it ended with her begrudgingly knowing she has to run back home, but she's happier now because she finally got to see this grand cosmic unity between posthumans the rest of her people refuses to interact with. Along with this was a comic in the same vein about a family of Pterosapiens, and it's just about a little kid on her first day of school and the family encouraging her to go and have fun, and it's a comic about how love persists even after we're gone.
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy Well other than Godrick, I really enjoy drawing and rendering armor! I also enjoy drawing the tf2 mercs as they really are- just guys. They have fat, wrinkles, bits of grey hair, scars, hair, etc. I really dislike when people take those qualities away.
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by Disney. I reeaaally don't look like Disney. I also really don't like Disney. Just a- and I really hate using this word- normie saying anything that looks vaguely cartoonish is Disney.
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with Oh god my fatal flaw is I spend too much focus on the warmups and never get to like, the good shit. Or I just jump right into the good shit, knowing I spend too much time on warmups, and then burn out cause my dumb ass is like 'why does my art look bad why cant i art today'
