Using form: Amphibrachic tetrameter: John Beaton, 'Regeneration'
Hay ripens. I sharpen my tapering scythe blade and chamfer its wafer of paper-thin steel with stone swoops; it’s hooked like a peregrine’s talon. The snaking shaft sweeps and the first swathe is side-laid beside me, clean slain. As I swing I can feel the gravid field yielding. Sheaves kneel and then fall in the breeze in formation. Their early seeds dance there like next April’s rain-showers…

Decades after he had left it, Jack Harkness slipped through time and found himself once more back in 1941 where he encountered the REAL Captain Jack Harkness whose identity “Jack Harkness” had stolen after the real Jack Harkness’ death in World War 2. ("Captain Jack Harkness", Torchwood, TV)

Help I'm Jo/Bucky trash (mildly NSFW under the cut)
She’s got the typescript for the book scattered on the table, Kay’s own notes and a few of the photographs, stamped APPROVED, marked by her friend’s pencil. The draft itself is covered in notes, hers, Kay’s, the censor’s, blue and red marks and pen ink and pencil smudging at the edges. Excised, her comments on the silence of the radios, anything about targets. She scratches a line on her finger, itching at the ring. One of the photographs has been cropped to hide the wall of an airmen’s bunk, the pinups tacked to the wall. She wants to laugh, something almost bitter, like the coffee a foot away on the table, the lingering hint of saccharin. It’s chilly here inside, the gloomy cold day blending into the last, and the next. The air raises goosebumps on her ankles, under her socks, bunching and falling. She’s got the start of a headache, she knows it, too much time spent squinting at the page.
[OTP asks!]
She can’t explain it, why she lets herself imagine it — trousers yanked down, briefs too. Lets herself. Like it hadn’t been as sudden as a flash, the vision of him. Right here, in the draft of the empty hall. The shock of the thought doesn’t dull, not for a minute, the feeling of warmth, and a hand at her hip, and a hand at her thigh. Dark curls bobbing between her legs. She wonders if her cheeks are as pink as they feel. She wonders, for one brief second, if this is what it means to go mad. The thought of it almost makes her laugh, not the same laugh as the censor’s, the idea that you could send a boy to drop bombs and hide the naked women on his wall. The laugh of someone so tall under a table, the idea that she’d wanted it enough to imagine it unprompted. Quieter too, darker, scraping — the ring on her finger. The thought that he just might do it, if she ever asked.

Using form: John Beaton, 'Killing a Coho'
I grip its tail, hammock its back, and swing its head down with a crack on rock, then feel its spasms judder through my hands as, with a shudder, it stills, a grand finale that fulfills some ancient impulse in my mind. Poking my finger through a gill,I cause the raker fronds to spillblood that drip drips as I carrythe silver deadweight of my quarry,my kill, toward a tidal poolthe sunset has…

Knowing jf the options are:
Maud beaton really is a confirmed lesbian but she dies in a fire by episode 6 (we never meet her companion)
Maud beaton is not a confirmed lesbian and finds out oscar is gay and hands him to the police
Maud beaton magically turns oscar straight (note: not bi, jf's brain is not big enough to even consider that)
Maud beaton magically turns oscar straight and also brainwashes oscar into handing john to the police
