Decades after he had left it, Jack Harkness slipped through time and found himself once more back in 1941 where he encountered the REAL Captain Jack Harkness whose identity “Jack Harkness” had stolen after the real Jack Harkness’ death in World War 2. ("Captain Jack Harkness", Torchwood, TV)

Just discovered that Murray Melvin, who played Bilis in Torchwood, died yesterday. Hadn’t been expecting such sad news today, absolutely gutted. A fantastic actor, Bilis was one of my favourite TW villains.
I’ve only drawn Bilis once, as part of the Inktober project I did in 2021 drawing a different Torchwood character every day but I think I’m going to do what my lovely partner suggested and go draw some more Bilis sketches rn 🖤

The Diary of a Nobody (BBC, 1964)
"In the evening, Cummings unexpectedly dropped in to show me a meerschaum pipe he had won in a raffle in the city and told me to handle it carefully, as it would spoil the colouring if the hand was moist. He said he would not stay, as he did not care much for the smell of paint, and fell over the scraper as he went out. Must get the scraper removed - or else I shall get into a scrape. I don't often make jokes."

From Fantasy to Comedy and Heart-Tugging Dogs: Revisiting Torchwood's 2023 Range from Big Finish
From Fantasy to Comedy and Heart-Tugging Dogs: Revisiting #Torchwood's 2023 Range from @bigfinish
The strength of Big Finish’s monthly Torchwood range means it could easily reach 150 releases. The 78th story in the range was only released last December, and we didn’t even get a full year of releases in 2023, but they were creative and entertaining and sometimes heart-tugging enough to want even more from the authors and actors in 2024. The release of Torchwood Series 7, a Big Finish…
