There is something about Pedros eyes as Joel that has me on the floor, throughout the series there are alot of microexpressions he does but this damn contrast makes my heart ache.

He goes from disbelief to shock to completely shutting down when Sarah dies, there is so much pain in those eyes it makes your heart clench, it's in the way Joel keeps hugging Sarah harder as to transfer his own life into hers by pure will,

Then you have the hospital and you see no light behind those eyes, you can just feel the pure rage and agony. Him walking slower and slower and you can just feel his heart drop, and the wires come lose in his head and then there is one mission, save Ellie. His eyes man....

My favorite part of guess the build is Gem just casually building super well detailed builds and then it cuts to another person panicking about time

some people in this fandom are truly clammy palmed little lunatics who have never attempted to be normal for a day in their lives. writing reader as having all the characteristics of a literal child whilst claiming that you are engaging in “safe kink” does in fact make you a weirdo freak and i do hope you trip over and bash your head hard enough to knock some sense into yourselves. if calling glorified pedophilic media by its true name makes me a kink shamer then i’m proud to be one! it’s borderline laughable to put an 18+ warning on a fanfic where the reader is so childlike they might as well be a minor. no grown adult is so clueless about sex and basic biology and anatomy unless they have physically been kept from all aspects of the outside world for their entire lives, and infantilising female reproductive organs by calling them “cunny” or “princess parts” is creepy and gross. also using pictures of children and children’s toys/clothing as the header for these fics just further proves that you are deranged and need to be sectioned. you freaks see no problem with the fact that your creepy little perv fics promote weird behaviours and treat pedophilia as a fun kink as if it is not a) illegal and b) DISGUSTING! if anyone in real life called a vagina a cunny i know damn well i would call them a fucking freak so i see no real reason why that shouldn’t extend to the internet: if you write your reader inserts as extremely child-like and use infantilised language to describe sexual organs and acts, you are a fucking freak and need to log off.

raider!Joel x f! reader. angst and fluff

A/N: He would tell her Joel doesn't like to celebrate. It being outbreak day, she doesn't wonder if there's more to it. She wants to honor him. She tries really hard to think of something, find something. Nothing seems special enough. She never gets anything, and she feels awful about it.

You wake up on Joel's birthday, empty-handed. You're sniffling in his arms, little spoon as usual, and soon a tear is running down your cheek and onto his bicep. "Mm," he grunts in his sleep. You keep sniffling. "Sweet pea," he mumbles and pulls you closer.

By the time he really wakes up, you're ugly crying into his arm. It turns him on. He touches your face, catches your tears and thumbs your lips, then slowly ruts into you. You wipe your face and get up to move. He turns over on his back to watch you. You straddle his knees, bend forward, and you're just about to suck him when he lays a hand on your head and asks, "you okay, baby?" You start crying again, harder. "C'mere." He pats his chest. You settle in with your head on his chest, tears in his chest hair.

Your voice is broken. "I know it's your birthday." His chest slowly expands under your cheek. "I didn't get you anything. I really wanted to. I couldn't think of anything good enough, I wanted to give you something really special." Your crying becomes more vocal. "And I don't have anything for you."

He pets your head and allows some silence, then answers, "that's cause I got everything I need." He kisses the crown of your head. After some time of soothing you and thinking, he starts, "you," and his voice is tighter. He clears his throat. You pull back to so look up at him. It's a face you're not sure you've ever seen on him. His brows are furrowed, and there's the slightest fogginess in his eyes. He swallows, looks away for a moment, takes a deep breath through his nose, then locks in on your eyes. His deep voice is barely above a whisper. "you've given me a lot, sweet pea."

I do not want the Hermits to be aware of this graph, because while making it I realized I would hate to see this if I were a Hermit. I made this for my own data-driven curiousity only

I am a human so I there is a chance that I missed 1 or 2 names somewhere along the line. I will reblog this with the raw data for if anyone wants to check my measurements

Bdubs is the only hermit Etho has mentioned every single video, for some reason, what is wrong with him

Stress and Zedaph are (afaik) the only Hermits who's names are never said by Etho, but they do both appear and talk in his videos
