Mark Richmondd (played by Patrick Barr) is set to become the American Ambassador to an African nation, but his future is in jeopardy when his wife Marcia hits and kills a cyclist when she is travelling from the French Alps to Paris. Tim Collier is on hand to offer his assistance and suspects an attempt to discredit Marcia's husband after she is contacted by blackmailers.

Jane, who plays Yvonne, is Pierre's grieving granddaughter.

Jane Asher on TV This Week

Jane is on the schedule twice this week in two early acting roles:

Loss of Innocence (1961) Color movie in which Jane, as Hester Grey, portrays the younger sister to Susannah York’s character, Joss. Original film title in the UK is The Greengage Summer.

Airs on TCM Thursday, October 10th at 1 p.m. west coast time.

The Adventures of Robin Hood, British TV series in which Jane appeared in three episodes. Episode: Children of the Greenwood, originally aired April 2, 1956. Jane (age 9) and her brother Peter Asher portray siblings Oswald and Alice A’Bland. Their father is portrayed by Arthur Skinner (pictured with them above).

Jane recalls: "Recently I’ve been filming in Croatia and Prague in a US crime series called Crossing Lines, playing a powerful woman very high up in MI6. My scenes were all with Donald Sutherland, who is as charming and clever as he appears on screen".
