I like to think the comment Soren makes about swimming in armor again comes from that time he was still giving games challenges to Corvus.

They are walking by the docks just chatting as normal when Soren gets a genius idea! He turns to Corvus with a wide grin, punching his fist against his hand, a gesture Corvus knows well at this point to be an opening for a challenge.

Soren says, “First one to swim and touch that rock over there and swim back to the dock wins!”

Corvus raises an eyebrow but decides sure whatever its been a while since he got a good swim in anyways and Soren seems excited to get into the water.

But before he could even unlatch the first hook of his shoulder plate Soren dives head first into the water: armor, sword, cape, and all.

Corvus had to drag him out of the water and back to land.

By proxy he won that challenge AND some teasing rights.

i honestly have trouble ranking my fav mga songs simply because it's constantly changing depending on my mood but also i just have So Many... i tried to rank my favs before n literally struggled to hone it down to 20 songs LOL

this isn't a hard set rank and also setting aside bitter vacances since it's new and i've been obsessively listening to it since its release (though i probably would rank it fairly high on my list too tbh), but if i had to pick my top fav songs, it'd probably be something along the lines of

You know Callum and Rayla complaining to each other about how Janai won’t let them go to Lux Aurea might literally be one of my favourite scenes in the season. The way Callum says “They treat us like children!” Callum my lad you have literally never sounded more like a whiny teenager in this whole show and I love that for you. Janai is trying to save you and you’re being oh mean aunt Janai won’t let me go to the zombie infested library. Bad aunt. And I loved that. Like yes give me Callum and Rayla being dumb teenagers rebelling against authority that just has their best interests at heart. Give me Callum and Rayla going “How dare Janai try and protect us! She doesn’t understand! We’re going anyway!” I love the fact that yes, Callum and Rayla are heroes willing to risk danger to save the world, but they’re also cranky teenagers and I love the moments where that comes through
