A Lost Friend [Closed Starter]
@inkdreamt
Jake was running late, he was told Cat Grant wasn’t really sympathetic for tardiness, that it had to be a real good reason to be late. He was shuffling through his bag looking for his resume not paying attention to where he was going. Honestly, working for CatCo was just a cover up, there was no way that two members of the House of El were on Earth, and given the apparent difference in age between Superman and Supergirl, he would be insane to not look into it and see if Supergirl was who he thought it was. He was just turning the corner when he ran smack into someone dropping his folder with his resume and making the other, a blond girl drop what she was carrying, funny whenever he bumped into someone it always almost resulted in him knocking them on their butt but that was not the case, it was like she wasn’t even fazed. Perfect day to forget his Blue Kryptonite ring. “Sorry about that, here let me help” Jake said as he knelt down and began picking up papers and handing them to her while he picked up his folder and stood up. “Hate to hit and run, but I’m late to see Ms. Grant, hope I didn’t knock the wind out of you” he apologized before walking past and disappearing. Something was off but he didn’t have time to ponder why he ran into someone and it didn’t send them flying to the ground.

@entangledmuses Continued [X]
"Sharon, how long ago was it that you bought that ice cream? I'm sure after five years, it's probably no good" Jake teased. "Unless this was recent, in that case, never mind" he laughed.
At the mention of a night out and Alex and May watching the twins. "You sure they're ready for that, I mean I would love to have a night out, after five years on a disolate planet, I need some normalcy back in my life"
He started for the kitchen. "Does it matter what ice cream? Or is it dealers choice?" he asked.

Kat Graham not making any Cameo in containment is a crime honestly because the opportunity for her to play the bad one flirting with Jake/chris wood character would be gold
