Most of these characters have been assigned DC roles based on their personalities, regardless of gender (except for Superboy and Bizarro since they're clones of Superman so have to be the same gender as him)! I included some Rogues, League of Assassins, Outlaws, Teen Titans and Justice Leaguers because the Batfam interact with them a lot.

In my mind, Kyoko Kirigiri is together with Makoto Naegi and has been for the long term but her as the Bat and Celestia Ludenberg as Catwoman share some flirtatious banter.

Hajime Hinata as Robin 2 died and came back, and when he did he came back different. How much you want to lean into Jason Todd's backstory or Hajime Hinata's and whether you want to include Izuru Kamukuru is up to you.

Kaito Momota may or may not have had an unsuccessful romantic relationship with Shuichi when he was Spoiler and Shuichi was Robin 3. This can be prior to Shuichi meeting Kokichi or Robin 3 and Stray could have had some playful banter going on during this time (this works because Shuichi actually dates civilian Kokichi, which could be after he and Kaito break up). Kaito could be with Maki now!

Yes, this character assignment does mean that Masaru Daimon is Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu's best friend. Yes, that is hilarious.

I was running out of DR characters near the end so I started swapping some around to find suitable Justice Leaguers. Masaru was originally Captain Marvel but then that only left Kotoko Utsugi as an option for Superboy 2 and I thought Fuyuhiko would hate her. So, Masaru became Superboy 2 and Nagisa Shingetsu Captain Marvel. Byakuya Togami was originally assigned as Lucius Fox, the manager of WE, but I had to swap him to Green Arrow because he was just too perfect for that!

Rose Sanders: The Team Mom, and also the literal adoptive mom to the younger girls in The Ivy League. She co-founded the original team with Daisy and her wife Lily to protect their town from plant monsters known as Herbiciders, even while missing an eye and just recovering from severe PTSD. Sweet as a peach. Amazing cook.

Daisy Petalgreene: Co-founded The Ivy League with Rose and Lily after losing her left leg in an Herbicider attack. Great second-in-command leader, but doesn’t get along all that well with younger members of the team behind the scenes. Still mourning the loss of her partner, Camellia.

Sakura Hanamura: Both the newest and youngest member of The Ivy League, Sakura is still adjusting to her new life as an Herbicider Exterminator--especially considering the attack that wiped out her orphanage and got her noticed by Rose left her with some serious PTSD and anxiety. Sakura has autism, is selectively mute, and mainly communicates through sign language and short phrases. She has a service dog named Clover.

Violet Burakgazi: Known as “Violent Violet” in middle school, Violet can seem a bit hotheaded and quick to instigate, but don’t get her misunderstood--it comes from a place of love. Ever since an Herbicider attack took her parents (as well as an arm each from her and Lavender), Violet is very protective of her new family, especially Sakura after she joins the group. Constantly at odds with Daisy, but otherwise a fun gal and great company to anyone who deserves it.

Lavender Burakgazi: Violet’s easy-going, wise-cracking twin sister. Lav is less eager to become an Herbicider Exterminator than her sister, but she’s fiercely supportive (and lowkey, rather protective) of Violet and would follow her anywhere, despite secretly being cynical that anything will really get any better with The Ivy League’s involvement. Loves reading and sending horrible memes to everyone.

Chrys Raajakumaar: A chivalrous young transman who unofficially joined The Ivy League as a “Sixth Ranger.” Having grown up with an abusive father, he eventually escaped with his mother and vowed to become a prince that could protect women from people like his dad. A disease took away Chrys’ hearing as a teen, and while he can speak and read lips, he often uses sign language when speaking for emphasis. He’s got a bit of an ego, but an even bigger heart. Chrys idolizes his mother and dotes on Sakura like a little sister.

So, yesterday and this morning, I went ham and made a chibi Chiro in Vroid Studio, specifically so I could get pics of the past to go with oneshots or little snippets that wouldn't fit the entirety of ReIgnition. Plus, had some fun expanding lore.

I also learned in VRM posing you can save your scene and customize it so I'm turning one of the preset scenes into the full Hanamura home one room at a time.

When Chiro was really little, he was super close to his dad. Not that he didn't adore his mother... but his dad is who got him into things like Space Battleship Yamato and got him interested in super sentai shows in the first place.

When Shiro and Ivy passed, Mila started getting up early on weekends to spend time with Chiro just the two of them...

Those days, while not easy... Chiro remembered the best moments fondly. His sister not being afraid to get silly, even when she was hurting too.

(Also please pardon the floating coffee cup, ya girl hadn't had coffee HERSELF yet when I made this scene.)

This is me also playing with Chiro's past self design. Got the colors directly from his uniform in canon since my Chiro dresses more casually by the time he's the age he is in ReIgnition. When he was smaller though, he tended to just wear his Shuggazoom Elementary uniform.

Mila also used to dress a bit differently back then, this kinda is a precursor to her current attire and style.

There will definitely be a mini Cas down the line as well now that I got Chiro figured out. There will be mini chaos demon shenanigans. lol

Christmas prompt - During their time at Hope's Peak, Peko secretly makes the vow to kiss Fuyuhiko anytime they both walk under mistletoe. However, she didn't realize that someone *coughjunkocough* put mistletoe in EVERY doorway. By the end of it, Peko is stoic yet blushing, Fuyuhiko feels like christmas came early.

Rearranged this a little bit, I hope that’s okay! This takes place in the Heartmark AU that @thefactsarethese helped write out, which you should definitely read if you haven’t already!

He overhears Hanamura talking about it, in the brief breakbetween second and third period classes. Hanamura brings a sprig of some typeof ivy to class, saying it’s Christmas tradition overseas for people to kiss inits presence, and then proceeds to chase their classmates around the room withit, despite numerous protests.

He pays it no mind. It’s just another one of Hanamura’sstupid perverted plots, and he forgets all about up until lunch, while he’s onhis way to the vending machines to grab a drink.

As soon as he turns the corner, someone grabs his arm andtugs him down an empty corridor.

“Hey! What the—”

He stops short. It’s just Peko, smiling at him with ease. Sheholds the little piece of ivy between them. She must have swiped it whenHanamura wasn’t looking.

He huffs out a short laugh, “Geez, Peko. Seriously?”

She tilts her head. “What?”

“Nothing, just… You bought into all that crap Hanamura wasspouting?”

“Why not?” she says. “His information wasn’t incorrect, andit sounded interesting. Is that… wrong?”

She’s looking at him so earnestly, any complaint he couldmuster dies on his tongue. “… I guess not.”

She smiles, in that sweet angelic way she’s so good at, and startsto tug off his glove, one finger at a time. His heart leaps into his throat. “Hey—What about—”

“It’s safe,” she says, “don’t worry,” and presses a warmkiss to his palm. The mark blooms in immediately, bright red against chillyskin.

The contrast of the warmth of her cheek against the back ofhis hand is sharp and biting. “H-Hold on. M-My hands are too cold—”

“It’s fine,” she hushes, and proceeds to press her lips tohis hand again and again until his knuckles are covered with the familiar littlehearts.

He wore his winter-wear to class: gloves, and a coat, and athick wool scarf. He hadn’t meant anything by it. It’s just cold, but Peko has always beenresourceful; she knows a good opportunity when she sees one.

New Backstory Post!

//Alrighty yall since I am a dunce and apparently did not properly tag my first backstory post well enough for me to find it on my own blog, as well as not stick to it particularly well over the last year or so, here’s a brand new one!!!

Let’s start at the beginning. It’s gonna be a long post, buckle in kiddos! Content warning for mentions of abuse, death, violence, gangs, drugs, etc. 

Kohaku Hanamura immigrates to the U.S. in her 20′s, and for some reason or another, marries one Sebastian Ingleberry. It’s not a great relationship, but it isn’t horrible either. On September 17th, 1990, Kohaku gives birth to a little boy (or so they thought, he’s nonbinary in actuality): Sanford Daiki (D.) Ingleberry. 

Sanford is five when his mother dies from an aneurysm. This is when things really turn sour in the household, as his father spirals into alcoholism and relies on Sanford to pick up the slack his mother left, keeping him from school and mentally, emotionally, and physically abusing him. It’s really shitty, and Sanford is barely hanging on at this point. 

Fast forward a bit, San’s maybe 8 or so and Sanford’s dad leaves him at a supermarket in the rain. Snake still doesn’t know if this was intentional, but he doesn’t care anymore. Anywho, up rolls one 13 year old Ace Copular. It’s an adorable meet-cute, Ace gives Sanford the nickname ‘Snake’, and they’ve been besties ever since. Snake eventually meets the rest of the gang, they’re inseparable. 

Things proceed normally (PPG, yada yada) until Snake hits about 13, when he sustains a gunshot wound from a stray bullet in a nearby, but unrelated, gang fight. He barely makes it and this is when Ace realizes (he’s 18 now) that he needs to get himself and his boys out of this town, A.S.A.P. Ace takes off for job opportunities, and tries to send money and get the boys into school. 

Snake is second oldest, and when he turns 18, he’s the next to go. He chooses N.Y.C., and out of desperation and lack of ways to make money, starts his own gang- the Ivy Crew. It begins with bluffing and bragging about his survived bouts with the PPG, and eventually he builds quite the name for himself and is pretty much a crime syndicate ruler- guns, drugs, you name it-, masquerading as a ragamuffin gang leader. He adopts a great dane named Killer as his guard dog, and he’s never seen without it. 

It lasts 3 years, and they disband in 2011. Snake has plenty of reasons, but mostly he wants to heal after the abusive relationship he got himself into during the span of his gang’s life, and make a (mostly) honest living. Killer is retrained as Snake’s service dog, and is quite a happy lil guy. Snake also adopts a black rat snake named Blep and a kitten named Khosu. 

getting rid of quite a bit of plot here, its just been too busy in this timeline to fit everything from magic anons to rps, etc. This universe’s Ace is MIA as of right now, and Snake’s quite tightlipped about the whole ordeal

Snake, for reasons unknown, makes a deal with the devil, or one of them, a.k.a.: HIM. This leads to a bit of your average, run of the mill demonic possession and a type of fusion is born from Snake and HIM: Sim. Every now and then Sim will pop up and make life difficult for Snake, take over his body Bill Cipher style, etc etc. 

Snake eveeeeentually gets into a relationship with Archie Sutton, resident punk rocker, and none other than a Rick Sanchez who discovered time travel and is from the 80s. They’re all the same age and luxuriating in a healthy poly relationship. Shit’s weird like that sometimes. 

Things again, proceed somewhat normally until 2019, when Snake, for reasons unknown, brings about the renaissance of his old gang, in what is one of the biggest spouts of gang violence across NYC in quite a while. Think of them like the people in fight club or the dollars from Durarara. Elusive, underground, difficult to arrest or capture, and the leader is simultaneously infamous and anonymous. 

We currently find ourselves the day or so after the night of the gang resurgence. What happens next, probably only Snake knows.
