I dont know where you people are finding or trusting (!!) places like Chuang or Lausan but come on.

1. pieces using terminology like authoritarianism or totalitarianism should at least give you some skepticism, if not in taking them seriously, then at least in having some understanding of how those terms are positioned geopolitics, eg, western imperialist motives in smearing their enemies who have the most power and ability and organization in fighting back.

2. theyre very purposefully unclear in their exact positions or affiliations. say, their funding for operations - especially when it's not just one guy and clearly they're not asking for viewer/follower support. they may (supposedly) seek collaboration with indigenous and anti-imperialist groups and then turn around and either insinuate or openly call china imperialist. unserious. and then have the gall to say they support a revolutionary global leftism

First verse contrasts scenes of Ty Lee, Azula, and Mai as children with scenes of Azula threatening Ty Lee in Return to Omashu, and from then on being a weapon for Azula in her mission. Scenes mainly pull from the trio’s early book 2 action as they chase Aang. 

First chorus: on “Forgive and I forget”: Ty Lee mid-air doing a flip cuts to young Ty Lee landing a flip. young Azula pushes young Ty Lee to the ground and laughs. Ty Lee chi-blocks a kyoshi warrior on "And I act like it. She flirts with Sokka on “Got what you can’t resist” and chi-blocks Katara on “perfect all-american”

Second verse features mainly scenes from the end of book 2 when Ty Lee, Azula, and Mai are in Ba Sing Se disguised as Kyoshi warriors. Many of the scenes show Ty Lee being undignified, contrasting with the lyrics (but fitting the ironic tone of the song). These scenes include Ty Lee jumping into the sludge during The Drill, her covered in mud, and flying through the air with Mai after Appa flaps his tail at them. 

Second chorus: “Forgive and forget”: Ty Lee after her circus performance agreeing to join Azula. Other clips juxtapose Ty Lee during The Beach with Ty Lee fighting during The Boiling Rock. 

“I know my place”: Rapid cuts of Ty Lee and Mai beside Azula, cut to Ty Lee anxiously looking side to side during The Boiling Rock confrontation. On the second “I know my place”: Rapid cuts of Ty Lee hugging Mai, and Mai and Azula preparing to fight. 

“And this is it”: Ty Lee chi-blocks Azula. 

Bridge: Scenes from the fallout of Ty Lee betraying Azula - Mai and Ty Lee being arrested −  cut together with Ty Lee’s emotional outburst during The Beach campfire scenes. During the screaming and fast-paced music, there are rapid cuts of Ty Lee fighting and moments beside Azula, in between cuts shots of Ty Lee crying. 

Outro: Ty Lee bowing to Azula during Return to Omashu. Then Ty Lee crying during The Beach party, and Azula apologizing to her.

interesting how often the ones claiming that galadriel's season 2 arc was perfect and everyone who doesn't think so is just too haladriel brainrotted or something are the same folks who openly say it's fine if she were to just... fade into the background in season 3 or disappear outright. sorry I actually do think it's sexist for galadriel to be introduced as the central protagonist only for her to be gradually phased out so that gil-galad and elendil or elrond or whichever legendarium dude can have more to do.

Solas turned his head, listening to the conversation but not offering much. He was coming to enjoy the idle talk of the others; it calmed something within him.

The fact his ears practically perked up when the Herald spoke was neither here nor there. She had a clear but also sonorous voice. Feminine and yet there was something of the old power of Elvhen in her. As if it lingered strongly in her blood. Or perhaps, this was simply an effect of his Mark.

Solas found himself worried at that, but as to why, he wasn’t prepared to decide. It simply was a worry.

“She did,” Seeker Cassandra remarked, nodding, shifting herself in her saddle so that she could look back the way they’d come. “I sense… if I did not know better, I would say…”

“It is latent magic, Seeker,” Solas finally said, speaking for the first time in nearly half an hour. “Your abilities intrigue me.”

“You feel it too. What is it?”

Solas shrugged. “It could be the Veil resting thinly here, or…” He paused, allowing himself a little shiver. “We have had reports of rifts here?”

It was only then that he met the Herald’s eyes. That title felt silly in his head, but it was somehow better than her name. Ar’Sulahn.

He had said it to himself aloud the last night they had spent in Haven before this journey. Trying to accustom himself to a casual attitude with her. Yet Solas had felt the aggravating crawl of a blush up the sides of his neck, right to the tips of his ears. And it was just her name.

“We have,” she told him, glancing back from the saddle of her hart. The great creature bore her proudly. Like a queen. Like a godd-

Stop, Solas harshly commanded himself. He was supposed to be allying himself with her. Hopefully manipulating her efforts to his benefit. Losing his train of thought when the woman turned brilliant, verdant eyes like the green of a sunlit leaf to him was not conducive to that plan.
