Every politician that was present on Jan. 6th had a phone.
We have every call, every text, every video that was sent that day in a 10 mile radius.
We know who Nancy called/text.
We know who Adam Schiff called/text.
We know who called Bill Barr.
We know who text, then called Mike Pence.
We know what Mike Pence said to Nancy.
Whatever happens, just know that we have it all.
If you are sitting home pretending this isn't true. You must be complicit. 🤔

I cannot stress enough that this might be the most important doll I've posted about.

Meet Jafra, the Palestinian fashion doll.
Information on her took a bit of digging, but as far as I can tell she debuted in either December 2015 or January 2016. She was initially available for purchase through her website, and after a year began to be (and still is as) sold at Hamleys in Jordan, UAE, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. In 2021 the Palestine Museum began selling her for $49.99 each, and is now completely sold out.

Each doll wears a detailed thobe, the longer one in front for their bridal collection. The thobe is a traditional Palestinian dress with tatreez (embroidery) which uses color to indicate what region the wearer is from. During the First Intifada in the 80s, it became a symbol of resistance against Israeli Apartheid, and of Palestinians' connection to their land. (Credit to Handmade Palestine and @nickysfacts for this information)

As far as I can tell based on discrepancy in stock photos, the dolls with embroidered thobes were considered collectors items with a higher price. Meanwhile the details might have been printed for playline/budget releases, likely to lower the price for better availability.
Jafra's dream is to "empower all the beautiful girls from the Middle East". She lives away from her homeland, but hopes to design and build her own house in Palestine. She grows Chamomile and Thyme in her garden, studies architectural design in college, and always tries to volunteer and help others. Her thobe binds her to her home country, passed down from her ancestors.
"Jafra is beyond a doll... beyond an idea. It's a deep-rooted tradition mixed with history and memories"

I hope I have made it abundantly clear that I do and always will support Palestine, and encourage anyone who considers this genocide a "war against Hamas" to unfollow and block me immediately. You have been given every opportunity to educate yourself and sympathize with the innocent Palestinians suffering at the hands of Israel, and your ignorance does not deserve a listening ear over them.
To my followers, I implore you to do your daily click. Contact your representatives. Attend protests. Donate or buy an e-sim if you can. We need to let our government know we are not going to fucking stand for this, and support Palestinians however remotely possible.
A ceasefire WILL be reached. Palestine WILL be free. No matter what actions Israel and its disgusting supporters commit Palestine WILL NEVER DIE.
Ramadan Kareem, and Free Palestine.

Syncopate my skin to your heart beating

Pairing: Mark Grayson (Invincible (2021)) x fem!girly!reader
Summary: Unlikely friendship, even more unlikely relationship… or is it?
Notes: hey divas… I am soooo bad at posting sorry :(( I get stuck on the nsfw part bc I honestly suck at writing it, but I see the differences in how my nsfw vs sfw posts do, so I guess I’ll be a sellout
Cw: making out, penetrative sex, reader is very stereotypically feminine, reader implied to be upper middle/upper class (or have a suspicious source of income? Up to interpretation), reader is a nerd at heart, reader described as able-bodied (can stand/walk), reader attends university, idiots in love, friends-with-benefits (?) to lovers
Tw: graphic descriptions of sex
From an outside perspective, sure, you and Mark Grayson are an odd pair of friends. By outward appearances, Mark is comic posters with frayed edges, wobbly vintage second-hand vinyl, collared shirts underneath sweaters his mom has bought for him, and windswept hair that not even the usual pound of hair gel he used could tame. You, on the other hand, are glittering tennis jewelry, style section, alabaster pink matelassé nappa leather, and lace-trimmed silk.
On the inside, however, you and Mark are one and the same… to some extent.
“Does it look weird on me?” You ask, your upper body twisted 180 degrees as you look at the back of your new skirt in the mirror. “Is it the slit? I’m not sure I have the legs for this.”
The embroidered sequins catch the light, causing a shimmering effect to draw attention to the pink mini skirt (though Mark would argue that it’s a micro skirt). Two chunky leather buckles clasp the item together at the front, buckled one hole up so that it hangs as ideally low on your hips as you desire.
“Where would you even wear that?” Mark asks, his cheeks flushed as his eyes trace the way the skirt digs into the fat of your hips. “Seems… impractical.”
“It’s cute,” you say with a shrug. “Do you not like it?”
“I— I love it,” he laugh nervously, giving you small grin. “Just not much of a fashion guy. I’m sure I don’t know what I’m talking about.”
“I’m trying to give, like, Sydney Sweeney for Miu Miu meets Lily-Rose Depp for Chanel,” you sigh, continuing to twist around yourself to look at the skirt.
“I’m not even going to pretend to know what that means,” Mark snorts, rolling his eyes as he return to the comic you’ve drawn his attention away from. “But… you look, um, good. Great. You always do.”
A part of you wants to tease him, to draw out that pretty flushed pink color on his face, but instead you simply smile.
“Thank you, Mark. That’s really sweet.”
“Yeah, um, don’t mention it,” he laughs softly, unable to look up at you.
You slip out of the skirt, uncaring for the way your lower half is only covered by a pink lace thong and a pair of scrunched-up white ribbed socks that dig into your upper calf.
Changing in front of each other is nothing new. Back when you’d barely grown out of being a toddler, the two of you would run naked around in his backyard while jumping over Debbie’s garden sprinkler system. The difference now is that you’re not children anymore and you certainly don’t look it either. The weight of adulthood is taxing on you both, shown both physically and mentally.
There’s a permanent crease etched into marks forehead, right between his brows. His jaw always looks a little more crooked than the last time you saw him, and whenever he needs to regrow his teeth, they don’t always assume the correct position.
He’s still beautiful.
You’re tired, too. Although you’re no Atlas like Mark, the responsibilities of your education and student assistant jobs and clubs are also taking their toll on you. You hide it well, your concealer always brightening the chronically dark circles around your eyes.
You unbutton your top as well and slip out of your bra before throwing on something more comfortable. A trusted staple; a pink negligée, trimmed with lace. You’re a regular Naomi Lapaglia.
Crawling into the plush pink sheets, you curl up in Mark’s arms.
“I missed you,” you murmur into his neck.
Mark slides the John Constantine, Hellblazer omnibus across your bedside table to wrap his strong arms around you tightly.
“Missed you more,” he replies, running his fingers down your spine.
Your room, your home, is his sanctuary (not that his own home isn’t, but yours is different). It’s just the two of you here, just you and Mark—not Invincible. He’s never Invincible here. Lines tend to blur and you’ll spend hours tangled up in each other only to still call it friendship later.
“Missed you most,” you say, smiling sweetly up at him.
“Don’t look at me like that,” he whispers, fixing the morganite pendant of your necklace. His fingers are warm as they brush against your skin, holding onto the pale pink gem while sliding the hook on the chain onto the back of your neck.
“I’m not doing anything,” you whisper back, blinking heavily as you struggle to keep your eyes open. You’ve spent too many hours staring at a computer screen today.
Mark laugh softly, shaking his head.
“Liar.”
“Nuh-uh,” you murmur, grinning softly. Finely manicured nails scrape gently along his forearm, running over the fine layer of dark hair.
Mark only smiles, then leans down to kiss your forehead.
“Is this new?” You murmur, fingering the material of his shirt—a deep blue boxy t-shirt.
“Mhm,” he hum softly. “My mom got it for me.”
You chuckle softly.
“Debbie has good taste. Blue is your color.”
“Yeah?” He whispers, his breath hitching. It doesn’t matter whether or not it was before… blue is suddenly his favorite color. In fact, he might only wear blue from now on.
“Uh-huh,” you say, your nails carefully trickling down his chest. Your fingers dip under his shirt, splaying out against his abdomen. A sigh leaves you as you rest your head against his chest.
Mark tightens his grip on you, tugging the pink covers up over your shoulders.
“I love you,” he whispers; words he’s spoken many times before, yet never so tenderly. “You know that, right?”
“I love you, too,” you respond, angling your face up to look at him. “More than anything.”
“You can’t just say things like that,” he laughs quietly, his chest rumbling underneath you. His fingers run over your scalp, down your neck and spine again. “You’re gonna give a guy the wrong idea.”
“It’s different when it’s you,” you say, delicately tracing little hearts into the warm skin of his stomach.
It’s things like that which take Mark back to when he’d first introduced you to William, who had been all but bug-eyed at 17, staring at you with wonder. According to him, there was simply no way a girl like you had any reason to show interest in Mark other than to bully him. Then, within the first ten seconds of you opening your mouth, you’d begun gushing about William’s ‘cunty’ LEGO Batman: the video game (PS3) t-shirt which sent you off on a tangent about your chronic overuse of Poison Ivy’s toxic kiss back when you were eight years old, which, yeah, was totally a moment of self-discovery for you.
And then William got it, but Mark still finds himself mulling over his words.
Is he only good enough to be your friend (whom you may or may not kiss every once in a while)?
No. You’ve never made him feel less. If anything, his dorky personality and cringe one-liners only seem to make you adore him more.
“Does it have to be?” Mark asks softly, tapping his finger against the tip of your nose only to get some of your highlighter smudged onto the pad.
You tilt your head, laughing softly.
“What do you mean?”
“Just…” he begins, swiping his thumb across your cheekbone (much to your displeasure, as he always manages to smudge your otherwise perfect blush placement), “no, nothing. Forget it.”
You purse your lips (cutely, Mark notes), smacking your glossy pink lips as you sit up to straddle his lap. Routinely, Mark’s hands find your hips.
“Don’t give me that tone,” you say, raising a brow. “Defeated. Pathetic. Like nothing you have to say has any value.”
He sighs, shaking his head.
“It’s stupid,” Mark argues, his fingers dipping underneath the lace trim that lays flush against your creamy thighs.
“Nothing you ever say is stupid,” you say softly, then grin. “Okay, maybe some of the things you say are… but not this time.”
Mark laugh softly, then leans up to kiss you. It’s not the first time he’s kissed you, but it’s not something you ever really talk about.
A hum leaves you as you melt into the kiss, his strong arms circling your hips and pulling you closer.
“Don’t try to change the topic,” you murmur in between kisses. “I’m not gonna let it go.”
“Stubborn as a mule,” he laughs softly, pressing a gentle kiss to your jaw. “I just… do you never get tired of this?”
You pause, frowning.
“What— us?”
“Wha— no! No, no,” Mark reassures you, his fingers running up the sides of your ribs. “Never us, never you. Just… this uncertainty. I mean, sometimes I… I don’t know if you’re just not looking for more or if it’s because I’m me and—“
“Stop,” you say, curling your fingers around the nape of his neck. “What’re you talking about?”
Mark sighs, his shoulders slumping.
“If there’s one thing I know to be true about you, it’s that you always just go for what you want. If you want something, you take it. And sometimes I just wish you would…”
“What?” You ask, a smile tugging on the corner of your lips. “Take you?”
He laughs, his head slumping down against your shoulder.
“Okay, not great phrasing, but you know what I mean.”
You snort, grinning crookedly at him.
“I know what you mean,” you repeat, sliding your hand delicately up his neck to cradle his jaw, tilting his head back.
He sighs, closing his eyes.
“Consider this,” your murmur, leaning down to kiss his forehead, then both eyelids, the tip of his nose, and finally his lips, “me taking what I want.”
Mark swallows a moan, his grip tightening on your hips as he leans into the kiss. Strong, deft fingers dig into your flesh, then slide down the curve of your ass.
“Mh, love you so much,” he whispers in between kisses, sliding your negligee up alongside his hands’ movement back up to your waist. “You’re too good for me.”
Part of you is tempted to counter with ‘you’re literally Invincible’, but Invincible isn’t a name allowed inside your home—only Mark, your Mark. You’re not going to equate his worthiness of being with you to how strong he is; Mark is enough.
“Love you more,” you whisper, smiling sweetly as your lipgloss gets smeared across his own lips. “It’s always been you.”
You swipe your thumb across his bottom lip, tugging it down as you apply pressure.
“Desire suits you,” you murmur.
Marks stares up at you, pupils blown wide. There’s something about your tone…
“Oh,” he says, grinning boyishly and proudly. “Oh, I get it. That’s the shade name.”
You grin brightly, letting an undignified giggle escape your lips.
“Sure is,” you laugh, kissing him again. “This is a 38 dollar lip balm.”
“That price has to be a criminal offense,” Mark chuckles, his hands running up your sides. “But I’m honored that you’re wasting it on me.”
“It’s never a waste if I’m kissing you,” you tut, brushing his hair back.
“You really mean that, huh,” Mark states softly, smiling to himself.
“Mhm,” you hum, cradling his face in your hands. Long, pinkish nails scrape against his scalp as you run your fingers up and through his hair again, then settling them behind his neck. “I could also just let you borrow some. It suits you.”
“Don’t make me get the spray bottle,” he jokes, pinching your hip.
“Oh, bite me,” you counter, rolling your eyes playfully. “Like there’s anything you wouldn’t let me get away with.”
“Okay, yeah,” Mark says with a soft grin. “Maybe I’m biased when it comes to you.”
“Just a smidge,” you murmur, punching your thumb and index finger together for emphasis.
“Just a smidge,” Mark repeats, pressing a soft kiss to the tip of your nose.
With a giggle, you capture his lips in another slow, deep kiss. You tug lightly on his hair, tilting his head back before letting your lips trail down the column of his throat.
A strangled groan leaves Mark, his grip on your hips tightening as he pulls you closer.
“Baby,” he whispers, “don’t— don’t start something you’re not gonna finish. I’m not strong enough for that.”
“I’ve been considering getting the Tom Taylor Nightwing omnibus when it comes out this summer,” you say simply, peppering soft kisses further down his neck and leaving behind a shimmering pink smudge. “Thoughts?”
“There are literally no thoughts in my head right now,” he laughs softly, smiling dazedly down at you. “Go for it. I’ll— I’ll get it for you.”
“Yeah?” You whisper, smiling sweetly. “You will? Oh, Mark, you’re the best.”
“Uh-huh,” he murmurs, still grinning. “That’s me. The best.”
You reach down, tugging on shirt.
“Off, please,” you say in a polite tone.
“As you wish,” he laughs softly, reluctantly letting go of you to shrug the t-shirt over his head—and not without struggle.
“No, no, I got it,” he says sheepishly, smiling brightly through the darkening of his cheeks as he manages to discard the shirt.
“There we go,” you murmur, running a hand down his chest. “Handsome. You’ve gotten really big these past few years, y’know.”
Sometimes it’s almost too easy.
Mark’s spine straightens and his grin brightens.
“I know, right? Cecil has me on this tight program—“
You slip the negligee off your shoulders, letting the silk pool around your hips and expose your breasts.
“Hoo, boy,” Mark murmurs, grinning boyishly as his train of thought is interrupted. “You don’t know how hard it is having you change around me. I mean, the— the girls are just out, y’know?”
“That’s just, like, on purpose,” you snort, grabbing his strong hands and sliding them up your waist and settling them on top of your breasts, squeezing through his hands.
“Oh, fuck me,” Mark exhales with parted lips and furrowed brows, leaning down to press warm, wet kisses down your sternum.
“About the Tom Taylor run,” you begin, letting go of his hands and settling your fingers in his hair, “I know the art is gorgeous, but is the storylines actually worth it? Oh, who am I kidding? I’m a slut for beautiful comics.”
“Uh-huh,” Mark murmurs, nosing up the underside of one of your breasts. “S’probably fun. I don’t know.”
His tongue runs over your pebbled nipple, closing his lips around the peak with a gentle suction. He mouths at your nipple repeatedly, groaning softly against your skin. The calloused pads of his fingers trace down your back and slip underneath the lacy elastic band of your thong, digging into the fat of your ass.
“Let’s get you out of these, handsome,” you sigh, gently chewing on the inside of your cheek as you reach down to unbutton and unzip his (honestly fugly) khakis.
“Wha— oh. Oh, yeah,” he pants softly, letting his forehead thump down against your chest. He lifts his hips enough to tug the pants down, shuffling to kick them off his ankles without moving you too much. “Got it.”
“You sure do,” you murmur, your voice a soft purr as you brush your lips against his temple . “So strong and capable.”
“Fuck you,” Mark laughs breathlessly, kissing down your sternum again. “I’m trying so hard not be easy right now.”
“I thought you were Invincible?” You whisper with a soft grin.
Mark draws back with a crooked grin.
“Nuh-uh. You just broke the first rule of—“
“If you say Fight Club, I’m kicking you out,” you laugh, gently pushing him down against your covers.
He rests his weight on his elbows, then looks up and smiles softly.
“I’m just Mark, right?”
You nod, kissing him tenderly.
“Mark. Sweet Mark, my Mark.”
“Oh, out the window with not being easy,” he laughs softly, tugging you down and steadying you with his hands as he switches positions so that you’re below him. He hooks your knees over his shoulders, then lifts your hips with his left arm while peeling the negligee off you with his right. Gently lowering you back to the bed, he begins to plant soft, wet kisses up your stomach.
“Mh, oh,” you sigh, your nails scraping down the nape of his neck. “You know how often I’ve thought about you? Just— just thinking about you?”
“If it’s anywhere near as often as I have,” Mark pants, slipping your thong down your legs and ghosting his fingers across your sensitive flesh, “yeah. I think I have an idea.”
“Kiss me again,” you command in a soft tone, and Mark complies.
His lips capture yours in a slow, tender kiss that speeds up your heart rate. His thumb circles your clit, slow at first, then faster as he’s overcome by sheer excitement of being close to you.
“Mark,” you whisper shakily, losing your concentration on the kiss and dipping your face into the crook of his neck. “Mark—“
A soft laugh escapes you, followed by a small moan as you press your lips to his neck.
His middle finger slips inside you—long, strong, deft—as he continues the stimulation on your clit. Moments later, his ring finger follows.
“Mh-“
Long nails dig into his firm back as you claw him down closer.
“C’mere, c’mere,” you whisper, tilting your head up to kiss him again, and when you come, it’s with a soft moan against his mouth.
With a confident grin, he retracts his hand and slips his finger into his mouth to suck them clean.
“Dirty boy,” you comment playfully, brushing his jet black hair back. “Someone’s been getting laid these past few years.”
“Yeah, as if. No, I— I just wanna make sure I treat my girl right, yeah?” He murmurs, leaning down to kiss you again.
“Oh, your girl, huh?” You tease.
“You agreed to it,” he laughs, kissing your cheek, “just before.”
“Mhm,” you hum, kissing his cheek back. “I just like hearing it.”
“Yeah?” He responds, excitement lacing his tone. “My girl? My pretty girl? My sweet girl?”
He plants soft kisses up your jaw.
A silly, girlish giddiness overcomes you much to your own embarrassment.
“You do like it,” Mark laughs, pressing another kiss to your lips.
“Shut up,” you laugh, tugging on his boxers. “Off.”
“Bossy,” he says with a grin, slipping out of his boxer shorts before slotting his hips against yours. “Now be still.”
He reaches over you, his hand blindly fumbling through his wallet before retracting with a condom. Biting the inside of his cheek in concentration (definitely not a habit he’s picked up from you), he rips the package open and rolls the latex down his hardened dick. He grips your hips firmly but gently as he lines up with you before slowly, gently, pushing inside.
“That’s it,” he murmurs, his hand sliding up to splay out against your stomach. “Easy. There we go.”
“Who’re you reassuring?” You exhale with a dazed grin. Your stomach is slightly tensed up, struggling to relax at the foreign intrusion. “Me or you?”
“Both,” Mark responds softly, burying his face in the crook of your neck as he bottoms out. “You make me nervous sometimes, you know.”
“Yeah,” you whisper with a soft nod, eyelids fluttering. “You and me both.”
Slowly, gently, carefully, Mark begins to rock his hips into yours. His lips ghost over the junction between your neck and shoulder as he connects with you through languid strokes. His thumb returns to your clit, and you jump at the sensitivity.
“Mh… ah,” you laugh softly, smiling as you find his lips with your own. “S’nice. That’s— that’s good. Yeah, jus’ like that.”
Your voice turns more and more breathless, the sound partially swallowed by Mark’s mouth against yours.
“Love you so much,” he whines, panting into your mouth. “God, you don’t even— you don’t know.”
“I get it,” you whisper, arms wrapped around his neck tightly, practically clinging to him. “I get it. It’s just us, yeah? For the rest of our lives.”
Mark lets out a groan as he nods, the snap of his hips becoming more fast-paced as he loses his rhythm. It doesn’t take long before he comes, his hips stuttering into yours and his voice breaking as he utters your name. You fall apart in the same moment, underneath his fingertips and safe in his arms.
“You mean that?” He whispers carefully, and you pretend not to notice the sheen to his eyes.
“What?” You ask, dazed and confused.
“Forever,” he reiterates.
You nod.
“Just you and me. Forever.”

IF YOU ARE AN ENHABLR WRITER, PLEASE READ THIS.
tw : very brief mentions of pedophilia, grooming, homophobia and sexual harassment.
hi! i’m rei and i’ve been writing for enhypen since 2022 (this is my second account revamp), but i’ve been lurking around enhablr since 2021. i’ve noticed some misguided words, especially from new enhypen writers due to recent events, and decided to make this post, so please make sure to read thoroughly.
first of all, i want to painfully break it to the ones who started their accounts in 2024, who thought that enhablr was a safe space, and tell you that it is not one. it has NEVER been one.
now, i’m not saying that to make you disappointed and want to quit, but simply to tell you the truth behind it all. i think there was an illusion created around this community, behind the pretty themes and fluff works, that blinded the people who weren’t actively a part of enhablr, and had just joined us.
in 2021 we had blatant pedophilia with the 02z, brief moments after they debuted, when they were just 18. the community was still a bit messy since enha was a rookie group and fresh out of i-land.
in late 2021, and especially 2022, we began seeing enhablr take some form, but with it, we got a terrible like to reblog ratio and some plagiarism. late 2022 had more pedophilia again, now with sunoo, who had just turned 19, and had adults posting nsfw works for him on the day of his birthday. plagiarism began getting strength and many writers had both their works and banners / layouts copied.
in 2023, during the very start of the year, we had more pedophilia cases. this time, with writers. a grown man with an account named mintchocolatesunoox verbally harassed many minors with sexual asks and threats. we also had a 30yo writer named luna interacting constantly with minors and treating them in a way that crossed boundaries.
we had cases of homophobia with writers avoiding and blocking other lgbtqiap+ writers and reasoning it with their religion. not only that, but we also had another adult jumping into conclusions when a minor blocked them for being uncomfortable, saying the hate anons she was getting were from the minor, when it wasn’t. plagiarism got even worse at this time.
there were also more grown adults writing smut for jungwon when he turned 19, and at the end of the year, their target was ni-ki when the korean law changed the legal age from 19 to 18 years.
this year we had islamophobia, people refusing to acknowledge and share about the ongoing massacres and genocides around the world, more plagiarism, writers using AI to write their works with no shame, and minors consuming smut.
these are only some of the countless problems surrounding enhablr, not including the intern problems that weren’t outed.
many of these situations got worse as the conflicts began leaving tumblr and started going to other apps and group chats. i’m not saying the issue is on making friends and keeping contact outside tumblr (because i even encouraged it creating servers and such). the biggest problem is how so many people aren’t holding their friends and the ones who do these types of things accountable.
it’s not about doing it and apologizing, it’s about apologizing, changing, and holding yourself and others accountable. the memory of some people seems like one of a goldfish, completely ignoring the behavior of those who didn’t even apologize, and moving on.
enhablr was never safe, because we, writers, didn’t make it safe. the ones without morals are finding space to act like this because we are giving them space. if we do want to keep these people at bay and make enhablr a truly nice community we have to start really calling out and educating the ones who are doing and saying horrible things.
start by doing it privately, trying to educate them. if it doesn't work, call them out, no matter who they are. don’t condone their wrong actions and hold them accountable if they don’t post a pronouncement or change their behavior.
don’t let things slide and don’t think mutuals or friends shouldn’t be educated too. we are all still human and commit mistakes, but keeping practice of them is not and will never be normal.
so if you think something is off, say it, talk it out, post it. don’t let it keep happening. the change always starts from inside out.

I read an article once by a prominent activist who said that it’s not transgender people who need to be visible right now, so much as our allies. I really agree with that. In fact, I would [...] challenge everyone who does Visibility Day events to also focus on allies and the ways we can get allies to come out because I really believe it is a “coming out” process for them. It’s easy to call yourself an ally. However, to really get out there for us, speak up for us, to write letters and educate your friends — that is something else.
— Rachel Crandall Crocker, founder of the Trans Day of Visibility,
writing in them in 2021

hey all, it's sou. a lot of you usually follow me for my haikyuu!! content since i started posting in 2021, and i really appreciate that! (especially since i shitpost about several other series, ha.) it's been great having you guys here, and i've felt so much support and love from so many of you. i love the space that i've cultivated for myself and the people who love my work, and it's one of the hobbies that's made me happiest over the past four years. but i know i haven't been keeping up with that part for the last year or so—and for good reason, as i'm sure many of you are aware.
i know a lot of us are doing what we can to help gaza, but sometimes donating, sharing, calling and emailing reps, and other actions don't feel like enough—especially when israel's just broken the ceasefire that had made so many hopeful it would end. it's absolutely devastating and i know it feels like there's very little we can do at this point. i'm not willing to give up just yet, though, so here's the deal:
Donation Rules ● Donate to any Palestinian's fundraiser directly or to any credible relief organization (<- some active ones provided, if you don't have ones you already have in mind) and DM me a screenshot of the receipt to request a fic! The donations are as follows: ● $5: Fic of 1500 words minimum ($.0033 per word) ● $10: Fic of 5000 words minimum ($.0020 per word) ● $15: Fic of 8000 words minimum ($.0019 per word) ● (I'm using USD because that's where I'm from—if you're willing from anywhere else in the world, then please partake! I know the exchange can be a bitch, so donating to organizations that your country has for the cause or ones that take all currencies in similar amounts work as well) ● If you only have the means to donate less than $5 or are only capable of reblogging fundraisers, info, educating yourself, emailing/calling, and other such actions to help, then you can still join! DM me the receipt screenshot (in the case of a donation) or send me a 🍉 to let me know that you're supporting in other ways (even reblogging this post counts!), and you can request a drabble or headcanons list of any sort!
Fic Request Rules ● List of series/fandoms I can write for is in the tags ● If you'd like a comprehensive list of things I've read/are reading, check here to see if they match anything you like! I'm also willing to write for anything on that list, i just figured a lot of them aren't series that people would read fics for ● Customizable means you can choose any prompt/au, ship (reader inserts as well), NSFW (only if you're 18+) or SFW, etc. within my comfort zone. I'll write for any and every character, no matter how small they are :) ● I'm NOT comfortable writing things like incest, underage sex scenes, inappropriate/illegal relationships between a character considered a minor and an adult, or excessive violence and gore. If you're ever unsure of what would cross my lines, we can absolutely talk about it!
I understand that I don't have much of a rep in other fandoms aside from Haikyuu!!, so here are some samples of WIPs on this doc. you can also look through my tag #sou writes stuff or my ao3 (of which please only pay attention to the most recent works, as that's how i write like the most right now)! If you like what you read, I'll write just like that for any request :)
PSA I am ONE SINGLE PERSON on top of all this. It may take a while, especially with the longer fics, but I do promise to get through every request I get. I'm aware I'm asking for a lot of trust and patience, and I appreciate all of it.
if you've read this through to the end, thank you, seriously. We're not alone in this. Let's aim for a better world.

@actorslashvampire and I have this concept of "Jocks in the most pit". We grew up in punk in the early 90s and saw the change when bands like Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine and on to Green Day and Blink-182 brought a more mainstream audience to our punk shows.
The same jocks who were our bullies at school were in our space and at our shows, and they had no idea how to behave. What seems like chaos in a mosh pit has some rules, but these people didn't know that and they didn't care. They just wanted the pointless violence. Shows became more dangerous when people fell down and no one picked them up or women were groped by creeps.
In the 00s I spent time in spaces targeted by post Seattle WTO protest and the post 9/11 growing surveillance state. I learned my rights and how to behave and stay safe in protest situations and how to foster solidarity to keep others safe as well.
When I was watching the fools on January 6, 2021 storm the capital in easily recognizable outfits and filming their activity I thought "jocks in the mosh pit". These people had no idea how to behave at a protest as they posted videos of themselves breaking laws and bragged about their actions online.
If you are going to a No Kings demo today, there's lots of online tips for attending protests and to know your rights. Please educate yourself on that, wear comfortable and non descript clothes that covers identifiable tattoos, unique hair, and wear a mask. Leave your phone at home or change it to a numerical lock, not bio. Write an emergency contact number on your body. Do not film people without permission. There's lots of other tips I'm sure you have seen but I think one of the most important things is to stay aware and notice even little changes in the crowd know when you need to help others and keep yourself safe.
Don't be a jock in the mosh pit.

quick palestine fact sheet:
there are nearly 7 million palestinian refugees globally
1.5 million individuals live in the 58 recognized palestine refugee camps around palestine (i.e. in gaza, syria, east jerusalem, etc) recognized by the unrwa
67% of gaza's population are refugees
there are 905,000 registered palestine refugee children: 635,000 in gaza and 269,000 in the west bank
palestinian refugees frequently cannot access public health insurance and are barred from many professions; some areas bar them from education and formal work
in gaza poverty rates are nearly 82% and the unemployment rate is some of the highest in the world at nearl 47% as of august 2022
one recent study showed that 88% of palestinian children show signs of war-related post traumatic stress disorder
37% of adults in the gaza strip qualify for diagnosis for ptsd; however, this number should be approached cautiously, accounting for preconceptions about mental health, access to diagnosis, and hermeneutic injustice: the number is likely far higher
48,000 people in gaza have some form of a disability: more than one fifth of this number are children
palestinians are not allowed, by israeli law, to have citizenship; they have no freedom of movement, and can be subject to forced evictions, detention, and torture.
the per capita gdp of palestine is US$3,678 as of december 2021; this is in comparison to a gdp per capita of USD$52,000 in israel
palestine does not have a formal military. the us stopped aid to palestine, around $60 million, in 2019. palestinian security services receives around $27 million from the national budget.
hamas, a separate entity from the pss, receives around $300 million per year. in comparison, israel spends in excess of USD$23.6 billion annually on their military.
in the midst of disinformation campaigns by global powers, fight facts with facts- and with protests, rallying, donating, elevating the voices of palestinians. keep showing up. keep educating yourself and others. never give up hope. palestine will be free.

In her Nov. 23, 2021 application to become U.N. special rapporteur for Palestinian rights, Francesca Albanese wrote in the “qualifications” section, “I am an international lawyer, with a solid knowledge of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, gained through advanced legal studies and over 17 years of experience, including fieldwork with the United Nations, academia and NGOs.”
Albanese also wrote in the application, for the position that she has held since May 2022, that she is “a human rights lawyer ‘by training and call’” and that it would be an honor to secure the role “as a lawyer, as a woman and as someone unfailingly committed to justice.” She signed her name certifying that “all of the statements made in this application are true, complete and are made in good faith.”
But despite echoing the “international lawyer” description in her official U.N. bio, on her social-media account and in her bio at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she is an affiliated scholar, she told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, in an interview published on Tuesday, that she never passed the bar and, thus, hasn’t been licensed to practice law.
A bolded heading in the article, per an automatic Google translation, states that “they also accuse her of calling herself a ‘lawyer’ without having taken the exam to qualify for the profession.”
“I never lie. I didn’t take the exam to become a lawyer, because I’m not a lawyer, and I never wanted to do it,” Albanese told the magazine, per the translation. “I studied law, and almost by chance, I was confused, I had just lost my father. Now I really respect lawyers in Italy who deal with human rights, but 25, 30 years ago, what I wanted to do didn’t exist here.”
“Francesca Albanese has now admitted that she never took a bar exam. Yet for years she publicly referred to herself as an ‘international lawyer,’ a title that implies having license and authority to practice law,” Hillel Neuer, the executive director of U.N. Watch, told JNS.
“In most jurisdictions, including Italy, where she lives, and in the United States, where Georgetown University lists her as an affiliate and describes her as an ‘international lawyer,’ calling yourself a lawyer without bar admission is misleading at best and unlawful at worst,” Neuer said.
“As a U.N. official tasked with upholding legal standards, Albanese’s misrepresentation of her credentials raises serious ethical concerns,” he told JNS. “It’s one more example of her utter disregard for facts and accountability.”
In the education section of Albanese’s application to the United Nations, she noted that she holds an LL.M. in “international human rights law” from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, where she was a full-time student from 2005 to 2006. She also stated that in 2022, she “provided legal counsel to undocumented migrants from Morocco to Italy” via the “Legal Aid CGIL (Workers’ Union).”
Despite telling Vanity Fair that she isn’t a lawyer, Albanese has often called herself a lawyer in her social media interactions with others. “Feel free to call it the way that makes more sense to your system and conscience. As a lawyer, I am obliged to be precise and scientific,” she wrote in December 2022. “This is also what impartiality, integrity and objectivity entail.”
In April 2022, she wrote to another user that “it is a privilege to have journeyed with you, my precious Noura, for the past 12 years, as a friend, fellow lawyer and fellow mother,” and on April 30, less than a month before the Vanity Fair article ran, she wrote that “I do not hate Israel. As a human rights lawyer, I stand firmly against human rights violations, annexation of territory by force, apartheid and other crimes.”

INTERVIEW
Peter Capaldi: ‘My closest brush with the law? I was arrested in connection with a bomb explosion’
Sat 19 Jun 2021
Rosanna Greenstreet
The actor on bringing back grants for further education and being kept awake by the cat
Born in Glasgow, Peter Capaldi, 63, was the 12th incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who. In 2010, he won a Bafta for his portrayal of Malcolm Tucker, the prime minister’s political enforcer, in The Thick Of It. From 23 June, he stars in Constellations at the Vaudeville theatre in London. He is married to the actor Elaine Collins; they have a daughter and live in London.
What is your earliest memory? I can vividly recall being in an old-fashioned pram with a hood and seeing sunshine and what was, I realise now, the grey stone of a Glasgow tenement.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself I was brought up to be very polite, so that becomes quite tiring, particularly if you are off the telly. I do like people, but I am often exhausted by this overwhelming need to make it all right for them to meet me.
What makes you unhappy? The spreading and celebration of wilful ignorance by people who should know better.
What do you most dislike about your appearance? The daily vanishing of the young bits.
If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose? The grant system. It allowed people like me, from modest backgrounds, to go into further education without being saddled with debt.
What is your most unappealing habit? I can’t settle on a table at a restaurant or a cafe. I’ll pick one, move to another, then feel that I’ve made a mistake and go back to my original table. I can bounce around for 15 minutes.
If you could go back in time, where would you go? Because of Doctor Who, I’ve had to make up so many bogus answers to this question, so I never want to answer it again.
What is the worst job you’ve done? I have been pretty terrible in quite a lot of terrible things.
What is the worst thing anyone has said to you? In volleyball, my PE teacher would say: “The most important thing is to find the fault in the other team.” And then he would throw the ball at me – I was the fault. That was teaching in the west of Scotland in the 1970s.
What or who is the greatest love of your life? My wife.
What does love feel like? Us.
What was the best kiss of your life? 12 September 1985, under a street lamp in Glasgow with Elaine.
What has been your biggest disappointment? I am always disappointed when I see myself on the screen.
What is the closest you’ve come to death? Death is always close.
What has been your closest brush with the law? In 1975, in York (I must have been 17): there was a bomb explosion. It was 3am, I was with some pals and we were picked up by the police who, hearing our Scottish accents, seemed to connect us to the explosion. We were taken in for questioning, which was scary, but it didn’t take them long to suss out these fey youngsters were incapable of a bomb plot.
What keeps you awake at night? Our ancient cat miaowing, because it’s got dementia.
What song would you like played at your funeral? Johnny Cash’s version of Danny Boy.
What is the most important lesson life has taught you? It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.

Incase anyone is wonder what's going on.
There are a lot of false rumors going around in the Drake Bell fandom, and it’s all because of some petty, jealous ex-fans. They’re spreading lies and making up stories to stir up drama. It’s almost like they want to be the next "crazy fan" like Mark David Chapman the man who killed john Lennon or Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who killed Selena. Essentially, they want to take control of the fandom, deciding who can be in which group and which fans are allowed to talk to Drake. There was a falling out because one fan liked Harry Potter. The group said liking HP was transphobic; the fan disagreed, and they kicked her out. They want to be the voice of Drake. When they didn’t get their way, they turned on him.
First of all, Drake’s fandom had no drama before this situation, and I really hope this will be the last of it. Besides the individuals who started it, most of the fandom is pretty chill.
The situation is: Drake’s fandom recently had a small, closed-off group form. Drake has a large LGBTQ+ following and has always been an ally. If you search his Out in Jersey interview, you’ll see he calls the LGBTQ+ community his family and mentioned raising money to help after an attack. In his interview with Josh Peck, Drake even talks about retweeting a photo of Justin Bieber wearing makeup as a joke 13 years ago. He openly admitted he regrets that and acknowledged society wasn’t as knowledgeable back then.
It’s important to remember:
Drake is a CSA survivor — he was assaulted by a man as a child.
He starred in a show (Drake & Josh) where episodes included jokes about crossdressing and kissing a trans woman — which sadly reflected how society treated those topics back then.
At 15-18 years old, Drake was trying to make people laugh, not hurt anyone.
He also made a joke about Caitlyn Jenner’s name change years ago, but deleted it, apologized, and has since grown and educated himself.
Today, he is a genuine ally, and many of his trans fans know and appreciate that.
Now, about the group: There was a falling out because one fan liked Harry Potter. The group said liking HP was transphobic; the fan disagreed, and they kicked her out. She later went to Drake’s concert and posted a photo with him, saying their opinions didn’t matter. The group got angry and wrongly claimed Drake “betrayed” them, even though he had no idea about the drama.
They then contacted Drake’s haters, who spread horrible misinformation and even wished death upon him. One person messaged Drake comparing him to the man who assaulted him. Drake replied, “You should absolutely be ashamed of yourself.”
Later, Drake popped into the group chat (he was a member but rarely visited) and asked, "Who is...why is she trippin'?" The haters twisted this and accused Drake of misgendering the fan — but Drake (and most of us) didn’t even know the person’s pronouns. It was an honest mistake.
They weaponized this to falsely accuse him of being transphobic. They also dug up old tweets he already apologized for , knowing full well he’s an ally, to push a fake narrative.
Also, back in July 2024, Drake had a chat where some racist comments were made. However, Drake did tell fans not to speak like that in the chat. Fans also were telling them not to speak like that.
Then came the Nora situation:
Nora is the daughter of a producer Drake worked with in Mexico.
In 2021, when Drake was married, Nora (then in 11th grade) met Drake briefly for photos.
Drake divorced in April 2023.
In 2024, a now 21-year-old Nora reached out to him.
They became friends, and briefly had a casual fling during a tough period for Drake (March-April 2024).
Later, he reconciled with his girlfriend and is still with her.
The haters twisted this, claiming Drake groomed Nora, which is completely false. Nora herself posted a TikTok clarifying she was never a victim and is being harassed.
Then came the Stevie Ryan lies:
There are also false claims being made about Stevie Ryan. I haven’t found any credible source stating she was raped by Drake ,only rumors from Reddit. They are also misrepresenting Stevie’s tweets. Some of her tweets could have been about her other exes, like Ryan or Eli Holzman.
They took Stevie's old tweets out of context, falsely claiming she was talking about Drake.
In reality, Stevie’s tweet about wanting to "burn down someone's house" was about Eli Holzman, an ex who mistreated her , not Drake.
Stevie dated Drake when they were young (she was 20, he was 18) and had no issues with him.
She publicly showed love and support for Drake even after they broke up.
Her tragic passing years later was due to struggles with mental health, abusive relationships (including her doctor), and depression not Drake.
Using her story against another CSA survivor like Drake is disgusting.
Now, they have infiltrated different platforms like Reddit, spreading misinformation and lies. They are using sources from accounts that post things like "Drake should kill himself" and "Up Periscope is a r*pe song," and completely delusional conspiracy theories about other celebrities.
They basically want him to harm himself. They are now moderating the Drake Bell subreddit and spreading misinformation about his past, using links from Twitter accounts that post hateful messages telling him to hurt himself. These same accounts also claim that "Up Periscope" is a song about assault and that Taylor Swift is a closeted lesbian sending secret messages through her music. It's turned into a complete delusional mess fueled by people with no empathy, just trying to tear him down.

I want this for Silco.
(same thing as video)
I'm reading this fic now.
And it's like a fix it fic in regards to the Piltover and Zaun situation that tries to actually focus on the politics of Zaun getting its independence.
I've been thinking a lot about the viability of fiction about politics, revolution, community building, what cool, worthwhile tropes could be. Things like Vander talking Silco into building up a school for Zaunite children and having him give political lectures there as a way to keep him close, around and focused on something hopeful.
Or Jinx coming to the Firelights and them having a public debate on the pros and cons of letting which people in. Or the drama of somebody challenging Ekko as a leader. Or Ekko selling the Firelights on rejoining the general population. Ekko and Jinx building up a playground in Isha's memory.
I want stuff like that to be around not because like people should be educational about politics, but just because they can be damn good tropes.
Anyway, I once knew a guy (he died quite recently) who remembered when his home country was "made free" (yes, very different context other than having to convince other people than yourself to give it to you in a peaceful manner). He was a kid and he was sitting on his father's shoulders and they were standing in the crowd while the important guy stepped out on the balcony and held up the thing.
I want that for Silco. I want him to stand up there on the balcony his hands trembling and hold up the contract that says that Zaun is real. And I want Vander to be there in the crowd, with Powder on his shoulders and his kids by his side looking up and them both thinking about how big this is and how long they've wanted this.
(anyway, please share/link me your best "place gaining independence/nationhood" stories, picture or videos from real life. I assume a lot of them involve the toppling of statues ;))
[btw, Mel Lovers, you might be interested in that series too, lots of political Mel!]

I haven’t even watched this yet but I’m posting it here because truly, not enough people are taking this election seriously and it is giving me violent flashbacks to 2016. By all means take your time figuring out how to vote. Make sure you are fully informed. Make sure you fully understand the consequences before you decide. And once you do, I don’t think it will take very long to choose who to vote for.
If you’re already voting and feel like this doesn’t involve you, maybe consider how you can help others understand the importance of this election. Can you talk to someone in your life about it? Can you send postcards or texts? Or call voters? Volunteer or canvass? It’s tempting to sit on the sidelines and think you have no role in what happens here. That it’s simply up in the air and out of your hands. But if there’s one thing we should have learned from 2016, it’s that every single vote counts.
I’ve seen so much discourse about this election and far too much of it discounts the power you - specifically young voters - have to change things. “Voting doesn’t matter” “it didn’t change anything” Statements like these are not only meant to disenfranchise you, they are also blatantly untrue (see below - the two potential futures depending on the outcome of this election are, to understate it, substantially different). I could make a whole other post about the enormous list of things that have changed for the better because we voted in 2020 - and 2021, 2022, and 2023, by the way - but the point is, please don’t silence yourself by not voting because a random person online posted rage bait that told you it’s not cool. Instead, educate yourself about the choice and work toward the democracy you want to live in. Vote.

standard disclaimer of fuck the dems they ran a bad campaign and refused to do the barebones work. but the broader american cultural shift to the right is more concerning to me than dems being dems and generally the fact that they were too arrogant. that's always happening; i'm not surprised by it; i'm not electionposting out of panic. just anger over the fucking right's coalition.
this isn't just a matter of swing states--biden won my home state of virginia by ten points back in 2020; it has been consistently blue since 2008, but since 2021 there's been a lot of culture war racism and transphobia taking hold statewide. and last night, as results came in, harris was fucking slogging there. she still won, but it was way closer than a presidential race ought to be there. californians voted for so many godawful propositions--they didn't even pass the one that would prohibit slavery.
it's all fucked up and we are seeing this horrific cultural turn against marginalized groups--especially against Black & trans individuals. along with that, antifeminism is back en vogue, racism and xenophobia are inescapable, tiktok loves to mock any given disabled and/or fat person, and. as a gay educator, i'm not particularly thrilled about how i'm going to be treated for being out.
anyway. all this to say: right wing propoganda is everywhere. stop it when you can. if it's safe, argue with people you know; if it's not, find community that can support you.
never kill yourself! etc!
