A TFP x TFRB AU mix with no sense that I wish to present you

On the one hand, I have this AU where Priscilla is a techno-organic Decepticon that’s pretending to be Decepticon Ally Madam Pynch's daughter.

And in the other an AU were Cody is is the reincarnation of Onyx Pirme and is looking for his other brothers that reincarnated as humans too

(Miko as Solus Prime, and maybe Raf as Micronus)

In time, they both start to suspect of each other that something is off with the other. After some accidents, they both find what the other really is and things go down fast...

But things turn out good too.

What do you think of this weird amalgamation of AU???

Sounds cool. I never really got into the whole reincarnated human best friends to the Autobots? Y’know? Kinda feels like the biggest coincidence ever, unless somehow they know? Idk anything about reincarnation though. But I thought that nobody would know anything about their past lives?

I love the Descent DLC for a lot of reasons, but one of the most memorable parts for me was how they recontextualized the dwarven belief that you would 'fall into the sky!' with the reveal of the Titans.

Thousands upon thousands of years resulted in the phrase losing it’s true meaning, recontextualised to instead refer to the surface of Thedas because they lost the knowledge of what it was talking about. Yet this phrase still endured throughout the ages.

You meet plenty of dwarves in Dragon Age who talk about the importance of reclaiming what they lost -> the Aeducan origin story begins with an expedition to an old thaig, Brosca suffers the caste system that venerates the importance of past ancestors actions, we see characters like Branka commit/allow horrific acts in the pursuit of this...

Even Bartrand, who spent the majority of his life on the surface, felt that pull. Varric has a story about breaking a plate that was brought to the surface with them and how, to Bartrand, that plate was the entire city of Orzammar. So many dwarven characters are reaching for something lost to them...

You walk into the titan (though you don't know this at the time) and you're met with an entire world in there. There's light, fauna, flora, architecture, clouds -> you are in the clouds -> you are in the sky!

The dwarves had an entirely different way of life! How does this all work? Who knows! What is in the booty of a Titan???

And the entire time they've had one small link to the far distant past through the belief that they would ‘fall into the sky’! Which is deeply ironic and tragic in that something so tied to their way of life, under the surface, became synonymous with the surface.

I still remember how excited/awed I was when I realized what that phrase was referring to! You heard it all the time in DAO – even Varric joked about how Bartrand believed it in DA2.

A phrase that was a joke to those on the surface was revealed to be a flicker of memory of what once was. Amazing!

Maybe it was once a small, chiding reminder for dwarven children when walking around in a titan. Maybe it was a joke for the guards/defenders of the titan like the Sha-Brytol? Maybe a dwarf wandered down so far below that they saw all this - making their way back to Orzammar with their account becoming legend. Who knows! But I love it so much <3

#such a great dlc - I love what it did to recontextualize/redesign the deep roads #the theme song?! with its booming sound and the hopeful lilt at the end? I loved it. that little acknowledgement that they *can* reclaim it #DAO was hell - my warden running about screaming 'WHEN DOES THIS END?!' as spiders/darkspawn/wraiths attack #limitations of the engine really didn't communicate *why* the dwarves wanted to fight for it so bad...all this rock and...more rock?#there were some really cool places tho! Like bownammar and when u first go to Ortan thaig! But the slog of the area made me dread it #(which if that was intended then fair to 'em - they succeeded in showing how the darkspawn fought them at every turn)#but the descent really *showed* that grandness of their empire - the beauty of it even when surrounded by corruption -> gorgeous visuals #all the dlc's for inquisition were amazing <3 #(we don't speak of datv titans in this house - BEGONE. God so lame - u had it all right there! Boooo)#thinking about the descent dlc because of dwarf concept art #making a little list of all the stuff I love about it! I wasn't gonna make an Indigo Park oc but then I started thinking about the theme park I went to as a kid and I got the idea of a beaver running a ride based on water flumes like Logger's Run or Splash Mountain :3

They're also based on wildlife education characters like Smokey the Bear and Ranger Rick!

#indigo park #indigo park oc #id imagine their ride would be close to Oceanic Odyssey so theyd be good friends with Finley :)#they also 100% sound like Velma Dinkley #this design was so fun to work on tho #and doing research on similar characters unearthed some Core Memories #like I completely forgot about Ranger Rick!!!#i used to love reading those and national geographic whenever I found an issue :)#i like to think theyre a really anxious character that tries to prepare for everything #but then their worrying causes things to go wrong #but somehow they manage to narrowly escape it every time #the name took a bit bc i wanted to name them after a tree but none of them sounded right #i almost went with Bramble but Baylee sounded better to me and wasnt as similar to Rambley #also their ride is based on Logger's Run from Michigan Adventure my beloved <3 #theres a little storyline about needing to transport the logs to fix a dam thats about to burst #and at the end you save the day and are rewarded with an honorary Ranger Badge! I'm following a poll tournament where the theme is we vote on ships only based on their colors (think red/blue vs red/green ships or black/white vs pink/green, etc.). We only find out who the ships are once they're eliminated.

Bumbleby just got eliminated from the tournament, and they weren't even submitted for the color pallet they supposedly represent. They're meant to be black/yellow (hence the name).

THEY WERE SUBMITTED AS PURPLE/YELLOW.

We need a new name for Bumbleby because they ain't bees anymore.

Can't really blame whoever submitted them as such given how Blake hasn't been wearing her proper color in years. Also didn't some people try to argue black was Adam's color and Blake going purple was her "embracing her true colors" or whatever? Which. Lol

As for a name, I humbly offer Dispassion Fruit. Between passion fruit having a purple type with yellow innards (a very apt description of post V5 Blake), the writers clearly not being passionate about this ship or this show, fruit being slang for gay, and the lack of genuine passion (aka chemistry) between the two ladies, I think this is a perfect ship name for what this dumpster fire has become

me, stupidly and weirdly resistant to listening to audio books vs reading a physical book for no real reason: man i wish there was a way to like, read a book while i crochet like i do with tv shows and movies and podcasts

little thing i've been thinking of for funsies is making one of those fancy SomethingShipping names for naturalto. i can never actually pick one though. i've got Canopy, Roost, Harmony, Chorus, Justice and SoaringShipping (i'll write explanations in the tags so this post isnt too long) but i'm not sold on any of them yet. thoughts from anyone else?

I ‘love him. or as much as you can love your doctor in a distant platonic way #he’s always so cool about ‘yeah your chemicals are all messed up’ and he’s doesn’t shut me down at least not without actually understanding #but my psych who works in the same office does telehealth and seems very distant and not great at talking about deeper issues #which is fine. really. i dont know what to do...

#my bsf acts like i dont exist when they don't see me #it's really sad coz ik theyre doing it on purpose #when we're in our flat he sends me a million messages and reels but when we go visit family it all goes silent #when i message them they also either ignore me or reply with one word or just react to the message #it might sound like im exaggerating but i think he genuinely does it to spite me??#so this time i stopped texting after the first say of them leaving me on read and they havent said a word or sent anything in 3 days #its really weird coz when were at uni we do everything together #its his bday on wednesday and ive got some cool gifts for him but i dont even know what to write in his card #i just feel miserable.. and really alone #theyre probs gonna be nice again irl but its really draining at this point #i think i just have to learn to take them less seriously tho coz i dont want to end this friendship #it means too much to me #personal

I KNOW every person says this about every medium, art form, hobby, etc. ever, and always specifically about whatever time they get really really really into said hobby BUT i do genuinely think, at least from a software perspective, that we're probably on the cusp of some kind of vocal synth renaissance. the scene never died or even wavered, but with the sheer amount of new software coming out both paid and free, voicevox getting a singing update,stuff like OpenUtau making compatibility easier... i don't care for subscriptions so im only interested in their perpetual licenses but i will admit voisona's subscription model for voicebanks has a lot of benefits for those who just wanna use a voice maybe once or twice.... there are so many robots to make sing you guys. there are so many.
