“I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.

“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.

“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.

“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.

“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”

“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.

“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

Danny was once known as the god Dan-El in one of his previous lives #he’s ALSO the reincarnation of the Greek Titan Astraeus (and he’s pretty sure Dani is his daughter Astraea)#his previous lives are all so interesting (he still can’t believe he was raised an assassin or that he was a god in multiple lives)#but in all honesty it’s even weirder feeling so old and so young at the same time

was looking at my ship tierlist and it made me think of suitcase and cheesy again... while i dont think they'd necessarily be close friends or anything i think they could at least be fairly good friends post-canon.

i like to imagine after cheesy is eliminated, he refocuses his desire to make others laugh by trying to find what might personally make someone laugh as a way of getting to know others, so long as it isn't mean-spirited! (source: i do this a little)

i personally think about this more in relation to him becoming friends with pickle and bomb, (pickle especially, i imagine getting him to laugh after what happened with taco isn't easy.) but playing with this idea with suitcase is also fun. i imagine getting suitcase to laugh isn't the easiest thing but when she does its really cute. so cheesy has to REALLY try with her to see what her sense of humor is like. and i like the idea of the kind of effort he puts in for that.

This one has no text. It’s just Simon waking up a little feverish— I was going to draw him getting out of bed and other longer character interaction comic stuff, but I uh was also having the head pain at the time 💀💀💀. Maybe someday later.

Simon is in like a robe or housecoat and saying “I-I’m all alright” and there’s a bit in parentheses under him that says “says guy who is clearly ill”. Then there’s a littler doodle of him doing the unsteady walk you do when you’re sick sometimes in his pjs—

The text is as follows: (Christopher) “oh my god— Simon, go lay down you are burning up.” (Simon) “immokayy” (Christopher) “you are swaying on your feet please—”. I think Simon would probably deny that he was anything less than in perfect health even when visibly not 💀. Or do the thing of “I’ve had worse” or “I can handle it” and like no, sir, what you’ve missed here is that part of handling it is rest, go lay down!!! Also Christopher is here because I just wanna see all the Belmonts getting to be a family and have significantly less responsibilities to deal with. Good lord do these guys need just a fun slice of life everyone is alive and well and we threw them into modern times AU holy shit… And also Christopher is Mr. Dad Guy Belmont, he’s definitely the guy out of all of them to be harping on someone to take care of themselves. •nobody knew what Pomni was talking about when she mentions the exit. If it randomly popped up here and there, somebody would've said something like 'that exit door? It doesn't lead anywhere'. The only other one who mentioned an exit door was Kaufmo, and he abstracted.

•Caine is an AI with no knowledge of what the outside world looks like. If that's true, then how did he perfectly replicate the real world?

Everything's the same.

Same items in the same position. Same assortment of items on the desk. Same mouldy computer. He is not human, and yet he knows what it looks like outside his world.

*scratching at the walls thinking about how no one has adapted Peter’s college arcs in a consistent and satisfying way.*

#coffee bean gang #spider-man #I was almost asleep but now I’m thinking about how there isn’t one piece of media out there that checks all the boxes #of adapting Peter in college + the coffee bean gang + doesn’t downsize the group or combine characters #+ does everyone in a decent way even if it’s not strictly comic accurate #raimi trilogy is one of the only ones that heads pretty quickly into the college era and also involves more than just gwen or mj #and as much as I like the films it does not handle the three of them in a way that scratches the itch for me #I mean for one it’s only Peter Harry and MJ. I like those three arguably the most but man the dynamic isn’t the same #especially bc Tobey’s Peter is much more serious and quiet/awkward with negative charisma (affectionately but still.)#MJ is mixed w Gwen’s personality which was disappointing to me bc I like MJ’s weird and super vibrant personality #and Harry loses some of the ‘kind of a sweet guy but very VERY fucked up’ and relies too heavily on Harry becoming the goblin for revenge #I sound super critical of the Raimi versions qhwjrjwkr I DO like them I do but it feels like completely alternate interps of the characters #most focus on spider-man’s origin which I totally get but also. Peter’s most interesting arcs happen in college #that’s why everyone has to adapt them into the high school years #(which they can do bc Peter was largely friendless during that time and was still fighting some truly d-tier guys #in between the forming of the famous spidey rogue gallery)#I mean I wouldn’t even complain if they chose to do the high school years and actually DID those instead of pasting the college arcs on it #I haven’t watch the 90s show but I want to— does Harry exist in that one bc I know they took out Gwen #at the risk of sounding like That kind of tssm fan. the closest we got to that dream was that show #bc they WERE gonna follow it into Peter’s college years and you could see them setting the gang up #it still fell into the ‘everyone is a childhood friend’ thing so the characters could all be there but it’s one of the most bearable ones

2024 is probably not my best year now that i think about it

#i mean - let's go over the good ones. i have my own laptop now - i'm doing okay in uni. and I haven't gotten any bad issues with irl stuff #in terms of living i'm doing okay and im pretty content #but emotionally and mentally ? horrendous. I don't think i'm really actually doing okay mentally #im struggling to find myself to be the same person i was awhile back. it just doesn't fit like a puzzle anymore even if it's supposed to fit #whats genuinely saving me from feeling miserable is my current interest which is why i'm really so quick to get excited or happy w it #it's so hard to look at past interests now and not think about the “bad” highlight - even if the good highlights are bigger than the bad #i feel like i'm keeping a facade when i'm talking to people. i feel like im being fake when im talking to people. i just cant find myself to #feel like myself when talking to others. that's why i havent been so active talking unless its close people #i'm scared of not being able to “keep up” with them. feel boring with them. not feeling like “the jil” they know #i'm tired. and upset. maybe i am bothered after all #being told that i sounded so fake when i talked really opened my eyes. maybe i am fake because i'm tired. but i wouldn't know #Losing a friend really does something to you huh.

I’m currently finishing up the designs for the Light numbers so to the three(3) seperate people who were super hype for me to redesign Fire Man get hype again because I’ll be posting them within the next couple of days
