The bond that develops between Ardbert and the WoL makes me so emotional. After everything that happened in Post-HW, him becoming one of our closest confidants feels...poetic, kind of. Despite everything, the WoL and Ardbert learn to rely on one another in a way that's different from how the WoL relies on the Scions. He understands them on a level that the others struggle with because at one point, he was in their shoes. He was also a Warrior of Light, no matter how long ago it was, he was a hero of his own world.

Watching as they open up with one another more is so good in my opinion. And yet seeing them become friends despite knowing it won't last forever also makes me sad. They tease him, he teases back. They have heart to hearts with him, he lets himself be vulnerable with them and the WoL does the same. It's sweet and yet they both know that eventually, he will be gone and they won't have him at their side anymore. The shade who's become a dear friend to them will be gone and it'll just be them again. Yes, they still have the Scions, but it's different.

It's sad.

Richie is someone who hides his emotions, we never know what he's truly thinking. Eddie was such an important person on his childhood and who made him realize some stuff abt himself he was better of not knowing (couch gayass cough) he just buried him deep deep down. Because why wouldn't he remember his closest friend if not?

And then Eddie- his thought of Richie is so natural. It just flows into his line of thought. Like it's normal. He hasn't thought abt this guy in 20 years and u just remember him cause he told u he was gonna buy u some new shoes? He just thinks abt his mum who scarred him for life and Richie. Like WHAT.

There's something special about the trust the boys have for Nami when they reach Arlong Park. Zoro trusts her to save him after jumping tied up into the pool even though he's just been told she's betrayed them! Usopp laughs at the thought of her hurting him after she threatens him! Luffy refuses to believe she's betrayed them even after being told she killed Usopp!

They just love Nami so much! And Nami loves them too!

She tells Nojiko she's never been happier and she wishes she could sail with them forever! And maybe she can meet up with them once she's free! When she thinks about them she pictures them having fun together and being idiots!

The girl who's been doing nothing but trying to buy back her village is beginning to think about her future and she wants them in it!
