Since I already posted my Snively and Regina’s drawing, I thought it would be good to also show this drawing I’ve made for this year’s Halloween! It may look a bit out of place now considering it’s December now, but I need more people to see my vision xd

While doing a rewatch of 90’s Addams Family movies, I realized just how much Snively and Regina would fit as Gomez and Morticia in the sense of a strange couple that loves each other a lot lol.

I also was planning to color this but ultimately decided to go on black and white iinstead, so that it could fit the gothic aesthetic better :3

What I love about the line “…but I didn’t need to be a futurist to take one look at the woman and know Emma Frost was gonna break my heart and, damn, was I looking forward to it” is that it completely embodies my feelings on Tony & Emma’s relationship. Like yes I know that even if their feelings for each other turn real, and even if they decide later on they decide to actually get hitched the most likely outcome is still them breaking up because that’s what happens to most comic couples especially ones that have different editorial offices to answer to (look at Storm & T’Challa). It doesn’t change the fact that I’m still looking forward to seeing this relationship unfold between two people who are more alike then they like to admit. Both with their tough exteriors, literal iron and diamond, usually hiding behind a layer of wealth, superficial charm, & artifice but are now learning to break down their walls and be vulnerable with one another. And if they break each other’s hearts in the process then so be it, god knows these two would be just as iconic as exes than they are as spouses

Was anyone else projecting and under the quick assumption that he would turn out to be a transman/afab?

My guess based on this was proven wrong, but I still can't stop the HC that Li Shimin could be trans.

Sonic World project plan: Tangle & Whisper (Vol. 1)

This series is not an assured project. It is a concept that can still be changed or scrapped.

Synopsis

A strange rock has been stolen from the Mineral Museum during the night, so curator Jewel the Beetle calls on her friends Tangle and Whisper to find it. A simple "catch the thieve" mission turns into something bigger when they trace the robber to Eggperial City, now under the rule of the Iron Queen. The Badniks are stealing Wisps from an alternate dimension using the stolen rock. Unfortunately, their actions release the Zeti, who want to conquer the world.

Characters

Tangle the Lemur - A bubbly and adventurous hero from Spiral Hill Village. She lives in a shared dwelling with her friend Whisper. Her special ability is her stretchy, prehensile tail.

Whisper the Wolf - An expert marksman and Restoration operative with an introverted personality. She suffers from PTSD from losing her friends, the Diamond Cutters. Usually she is very quiet and reserved, but loves spending time with Tangle. Her quietness makes her great at stealth.

Iron Queen - An experimental Badnik who can control other Badniks. She acts fairly kindly, but she is underhanded and cruel. All she values is herself and will sacrifice her "servants" to protect herself. She wants to rule the Eggman Empire.

Zavok - The wise and brutal leader of the Zeti. He wants to make the world into a better home for the Zeti while pretending to be loyal to Dark Gaia.

Master Zik - The wise, old Zeti who trained Zavok. He has seen how Dark Gaia treats their creations and believes the Zeti should find their own path and escape the grasp of their malicious deity.

Zazz - A crazed Zeti and Dark Gaia zealot. He will do anything for the evil deity, even if it goes against the wishes of his leader, Zavok.

Jewel the Beetle - Tangle's oldest friend and curator of the Mineral Museum in Spiral Hill Village.

Orbot - A lazy robotic former assistant of Eggman who is forced to serve the Iron Queen.

Cubot -A dimwitted robotic former assistant of Eggman who is forced to serve the Iron Queen.

Other Information

The Zeti's powers are different from how they were portrayed in "Sonic Lost World." They are immune to energy attacks. The change is because I don't want them to be too similar to Nominatus in "Shadow the Hedgehog (Vol. 2)"

Zazz in this story takes inspiration from Carnage from Marvel Comics.

Tangle and Whisper are living together and are "really, really, really, really, really, really, really good friends" 😉

Here’s an Iron Queen drawing! And holy shit it has an actual background (LOL)

This was more of a practice drawing for me, since not only did I made it to practice my backgrounds, but also coloring in general. I always liked doing the lineart and inkling more, which is why half of my drawing are black and white xd But nonetheless I’m happy with how it turned out. I also wanted to try mimicking the comic’s coloring based on most of the Flynn era’s issues…But I still have to work on that.

As for our queen here, I was pleasantly surprised to see her development through the comic. She went from being a one note villain in a old story that I didn’t really care about (credits where is due, though, I kind of liked her creepy design in her first appearance) to being one of the best antagonists in the comics. She was charming, manipulative, cruel and overall made for a fun character to follow! And her romance with Snively was very cute too. I don’t care what anyone says, she DID love him and you guys are just mean 😤😤

I scanned my old Archie Sonic comics just to talk about this character, the Iron Queen. She was the one person Dr. Jester feared. Regina Ferrum was a Technomage. She had dominion over machines. And, last time I checked, Dr. Jester was a machine. He feared being under someone else's control. Cool!

Well, she's gone and so is her magic. There's nothing to worry about!
