Polaris goes to war

As middling as Fall of the House of X was (especially next to Rise of the Powers of X) I legit got feelings when Lorna went to war. Donning a green version of her dead father's helmet and showing up on Knowhere to recruit the Brood was powerful. Her showing up at the Bloom with a floating Celestial skull and alien predators of nightmare scared the shit out of ORCHIS then tore them to shreds. The costume is also something of a callback to Powers of X.

Not exactly a hot take, but I don't think Gerry Duggan utilised Lorna Dane very well otherwise or in X-Men. I'll take scraps over what's happening in X-Factor right now though. Someone should tell Tom Brevoort it's 2024, because the lady in that first pic wouldn't meekly get captured by bozos with guns and she definitely shouldn't be pigeonholed as 'Havok's supporting character girlfriend.'
