I could literally quote the whole thing. Instead, I’ll leave you with these three (lengthy) quotes and encourage you to read the article in its entirety. And you totally should. It’s worth the read.

The Sandman is still one of the most popular comic series ever, and Netflix is currently gearing up to drop the second season of its successful TV adaptation.”

I need to keep reminding myself that im making the comic for me. That im telling this story because im a little crazy about it.

Im making all of this on my free time after work so I shouldnt feel guilty about not pumping out artwork after artwork.

I know so many people are waiting excitedly, so am I, but making a comic takes time and work. This whole thing is probably going to take so much longer than I think it will.

Nobody is pressuring me either so taking time for myself is not a bad thing. Even if people forget about my stuff and it doesnt get engagement its not the end of the world.

I am making this for myself. Just because I like it. Just because I enjoy creating.

i think one of my least favorite troupes in tf2 fanfics has to be scout finds x and y are dating and freaks out/starts being openly homophobic towards them because "canon typical homophobia"

they are mercenaries. fucking contract killers. do you think anyone gives a flying fuck about homosexuality being illegal? you see, they are ok with murder and gruesome violence, HOWEVER they draw the line at two men holding hands because the words on the paper say it's a no no

he would probably tease them because, that's normal that's what friends and annoying coworkers do. and sometimes he might step on a line. but my dear friends. if scout was genuinely homophobic to any of the other mercs, im afraid he wouldn't survive the winter (irse a mimir). he would get snapped by a twig and it doesn't even have to be by the merc he was insulting. anyone in the vicinity would suplex his ass. son, we all suck dick here. get used to it

Main character lineup for a western AU of me and @gxdcomplex’s fantasy ocs! Celestine is a rancher, Atticus is his stablehand (who may or may not have a past he doesn’t want to talk about or why he’s run away from it) and Meadowlark is under their care.

[Marrowsnap and Sienna are she/her, Carrion is they/she] And here are the Coyote Sisters’ leaders, the og coyote sisters! They lead a pack of werecoyotes (and all other people willing to travel with them who need a place to belong) and while they try to avoid conflict, they have some mischievous packmates who wind up out of line and go after a rancher’s herd or get into scuffles in town which is a headache for the Sisters to deal with. Because of this they often go head to head with Celestine and Atticus.

Little unfinished comic I made about Sienna and Carrion finding a wanted poster about them. (Gristle was one of their packmates that tried to attack one of Celestine’s cows)

We NEED to stop obsessing over every aspect of our appearances and we NEED to start accepting what our natural faces look like.

We need to divorce ourselves from the idea that beauty is morality. We need to stop caring about if we're ugly or not or treating it like its the end of the world.

Your face is your face!!! It looks the way it does, and you need to stop hating it. Who fucking cares if you have acne or dark circles or fine lines or wrinkles or sunspots or scars. WHO GIVES A GODDAMN SHIT. it is your face, and no matter what you do you will never get another one. You will have it for the rest of your life so you may as well learn to fucking live with it.

Learn to accept yourself the way you are. WHY should it matter if you are beautiful or ugly. YOU ARE A PERSON. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOUR AESTHETICS. We are never going to get equality for women, like, each of us being able to walk out of the fucking door without giving a single shit -- just like men do -- and be treated like human beings, if we keep desperately trying to homogenise our features into what is deemed "acceptable" and valourising beauty.

Your natural face isn't beautiful or ugly. Its your fucking face. This isnt about "embracing being ugly" its saying WHY THE FUCK SHOULD HOW I LOOK EVEN MATTER. WHY THE FUCK DOES IT NEED TO BE JUDGED. WHY ARE WE ASSIGNING WORTH TO APPEARANCES IN THE FIRST PLACE

my boyfriend worries himself sick over his social status and material reality, which is understandable considering the environment he grew up in... and gender order theory. i always knew i'd choose a fulfilling career over money and i'm always ready to exchange comfort for mechanical labour so i don't think our life together will lack beauty, love and happiness. he does. but i love that he is a dreamer... every woman in my father's side of the family married a dreamer and enabled her husband's dreams by household labour, planning the family's finances and possibly contributing a steady income of her own. it's a generational curse and i think i always knew i'd live like that too and i'm happy to, if i get to have my work. i just hope he won't be displeased with our regular normal stable life for the rest of our lives 💭

I can't stop thinking about the Watcher thing it's just so fascinatingly bizarre . like so many components of that decision and how they handled it were so bad and so completely out of left field for how they've operated in the past I am baffled . Someone put these guys under a microscope Stat

Saw someone in the tag mention bread making and I tried not to expose myself as someone who is being bitten by the bread making bug but. Lets go. A headcanon I've had for a WHILE now.

Peeta, with Katniss and even Haymitches help has to clear the site of the bakery before he can begin rebuilding. It is, as one would expect, extreamly emotonally taxing but he powers through with their support. There isn't a whole lot to save, but he does manage to get a few boxes. Mosly nonsense stock records. There is a box of the Mellark families most basic recipes he obviously keeps. However the interesting thing is a almost empty box with a larger envolope. Katniss finds it, not quite sure what it is. It has only a date on it, one not long before the bombing.

Upon inspection, Peeta knows exactly what it is. It's saved with the other few boxes and taken home.

The next day Katniss finds Peeta dumping it into a small bowl with water and a little sugar. When asked, he explains that the envelope contains dried yeast his father must have saved. Mixed with warm water and sugar, it is how bread dough rises.

He makes a loaf with it, and somehow it's better than any other he's made in a long time even though there is literally no difference in the recipe he uses.
