I think Nik typically keeps these at bay mainly because 1) People actually do love him and 2) if you somehow manage to kill him then you're already dead on your feet considering you'll have the rest of Chimera AND 141 AND every other ally targeting you 💀

The ONE coup that he ended was probably told to be more dramatic than it was. Some older new recruit thinking that know more about the "what's right" for the organization's future and challenging Nik. Add in a few more gullible soldiers, and wayy too much ego. While it was quick and easy to put a stop to it, I DO think that Nik is the type to make an example out of people.

Overall, even if you did want to challenge him,,,you're better off keeping him alive and keeping your mouth shut.
