Tempting as it was to just sink into his bed and sleep off the exhausting day of moving and hauling boxes, he finally allowed himself to let go of the handle of his travel bag - his main spot for all of his clothes. Moving to an empty dresser by his bed, he began to go through the contents of his travel bag, removing several shirts and organizing them into clumsy piles - shirts, hoodies, pants, boxers - he was even sure to try and separate the sweatpants from the regular pants and keep his sports stuff separated from his casual clothes! Thankfully, the dresser had no shortage of drawers and moving to open up the first drawer, he began to gather up several pairs of boxers in his hands, clumsily arranging them in the top drawer.

"Sounds like you had some really close friends - honestly, reminds me a lot of my friends back home," He'd had a tight knit group of friends back in high school and in a sense, it had been a little easier - since some of them had graduated a year earlier, so they'd had experience with long distance friendship and keeping up - but once the friends in his year had graduated along with him...it was pretty tough and lonely, at first - but it wasn't as though they didn't keep in touch. They still had a group chat which they used regularly. "My friends are all off living their own lives too but we still talk when we can and I know we'll always be friends," He affirms this with a soft smile and a nod. "Heh..." His cheeks flush, genuinely taken aback but also touched by how quickly his roommate seemed to open up to him, he was surprised, sure, but in a good way. "I'd love to meet your friends, honestly - maybe you can meet mine sometime too,"

Maybe if he were around anyone else, he might have felt a bit more wary or edge, some people could come off as overly friendly in a fake sort of way, but his roommate seemed sincere - like just a genuinely open and friendly dude, plus Ryuji at times could be an open book as well. "You're totally fine, man - trust me, I know I can also be a handful too, so rest assured it'll take a lot to scare me off!" He gives a reassuring grin and a thumbs up.

"Instacups...?!" His eyes widen as he nearly drops the pile of shirts clutched in his hands, eagerly nodding at the mention of his favourite food. "M-Man, that sounds great to me...!" Had he hit the roommate jackpot...?! Short of his Ma, being taken care of by others wasn't something he was used to and as he sheepishly lowered the shirts into the drawer, he moved to sit onto the edge of his bed, his gaze genuinely childlike and shy as it wasn't often he was offered a choice of what he wanted.

"Um, d'you have any beef...?"

Yosuke putting away things in his closet - still hearing Ryuji talk - listened to his words. Seems he likes his bed. That's good! Yet the question of whether he missed his parents was - tricky. While he's finally happy to have his freedom, he misses his parents just a tad. But he can finally be on his own! Yet - he also missed Teddie.... But Yosuke had someone new to meet. That was important! He had to make sure he got along with his new roommate. "I miss 'em also. I miss my other friends also. They all went their separate lives but we still text! We all stay up to date with each other. I'm sure you're the same way - right?" Yosuke gave a smile at Ryuji - pausing his unpacking as he looked over at him, "They're the best friends a guy could ever want. Hell -- If I can I'd love you to meet them if we can all meet up -- Oh, man. I feel I'm being too fast. Sorry! I shouldn't be this overwhelming on the first day -" A slight red in his face, the embarrassment rose from his stomach to his throat.

Yosuke just - ... Felt a click, already. Talking to Ryuji as if he's known him for years - but they've only just met! "I should let you go at your own pace. You tell me if I am being too much. Okay?" Yosuke let out a small chuckle to pass the ease of himself - "Though... If you're not too tired. Can I treat you to some Instacups I bought for us? I'll make yours. You need to lie down and take it easy. Leave it all to me. Just tell me what flavor suits you.'

Nie ukrywam, że była to chyba 🤔 pierwsza książka z literatury pięknej, którą przeczytałam (nie liczę lektur). Obawiałam się jej, ale chciałam dać jej szansę. To była jedna z najlepszych decyzji książkowych. Dzięki niej mogłam zwiedzać, odkrywać i przeżywać każdą emocję. Była niczym skrzynia skarbów 📖 👉 Na story podam Wam link do recenzji książki, gdzie w każdym zdaniu piałam z zachwytu. Brody’s Ghost Review

Brody's Ghost by Mark Crilley is a 6 part Dystopian Paranormal Mysteries Graphic Novel series. It had taken me years to finds the last book in the series, but when I came across it one fateful night on my favorite website at 1 a.m. I didn't hestitate and bought it immediately. When else would I come across it?

The story follows Brody, a young man living in a post-apocaliptic/dystiopian city. Left by his girlfriend, Nicole, his life has changed for the worst. And it changes once more when he meets Talia, but will it be for the better? Together they go after the Penny Murderer. But how do you catch a man with random targets.

I've rated every single volume of this series 5 stars.

I finished each one between 20-30 minutes, and the only reason is because I was fully engaged the whole time. Every single one leaved with a cliff hanger, and yes, one is more enticing than the next. After waiting for years to obtain the last volume I decided to read the whole series again, and finish it in one go. The pacing is really good with both high action fight scenes and slower moments of conversation, but none is a bore. My favorite character is actually Alec Jablonski. A real trickster and an amazing addition to the story. Those who read the series will understand. I've followed Mark Crilley for a while on YouTube and already knew I liked his art style. I even have some How to Draw Manga books from him, but this is something else entirely.

There are also a couple of easter eggs I noticed in the background on certain panels: - Pringles (snack) - Pocky (snack) - Dark Horse sign (publisher) - InstaCup Ramen Noodles (Food) - Daves (Instead of Wendy's?) - Miki Falls (His other series) - Youtube Sign - SMH Make-up bag (Shake My Head?) - Skyway to Miyazaki building (Miyazaki = Hayao Miyazaki, director of Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke and many, many more) - Vodafone (phone provider)

I will try and get my hands on his Miki Falls Series as well. I've seen some mixed reviews for it on GoodReads, but I want to see it for myself.
