Idea: one of those "Ash somehow ends up in a group chat (usually with the Champions or Legendaries, sometimes with other characters) the first day of his journey and it messes with the series" AUs that've been popping up on AO3 lately, but instead it's a group chat made up of alternate versions of himself. One of them's the canon version (or at least close to it), the rest are AU versions, at least one of them is Ashley (not sure if trans or just genderbent. leaning towards trans), and all of them are from post-series and trying not to give too many spoilers because they don't want to overwhelm their "mini-me" or make things too easy for him 'cause if they do he won't grow as a trainer and person like they did (not that he'd want them to coddle him like that anyway. He's always wanted to get through on his own merits not have victories just handed to him). Also Arceus told them not to (who else do you think would've set this up?).
Granted, sometimes even when they do give spoilers it doesn't help much between them not having perfect memories, being from alternate timelines so a lot of the details are different between them, and forgetting just how stubborn and bull-headed their Kanto Era self could be.
I call it the "Self-Help Hotline" AU

Minthara/chef’s choice, E7
You would. Thanks for requesting this! 💜
You can send a prompt from this list + a ship or platonic pair, and I'll write a ficlet!

E7. While relaxing at camp, Character A begins to suspect that Character B is Orin in disguise
"Aren't you a welcome sight?" Shadowheart patted the stool next to where she knelt on her long-disused prayer rug in front of her tent. "Come, sit with me."
Minthara had hardly come out of her evening trance before Shadowheart called upon her. She sat there in her nightclothes, silver hair curiously still in its tight braid. She smiled at Minthara, a wide smile that showed her teeth.
"Why are you awake at this hour?" asked Minthara.
"Sleep's eluded me for a while. I figured a bit of prayer would do me good."
Minthara replied slowly, lingering on the syllables. "Of course. At least there's no dreadful sun burning us in the night."
"Afraid you'll be burnt to a crisp?"
"The sight of it nauseates me." Minthara approached slowly. "When did you resume your prayers?"
Shadowheart smiled again, tilting her head to one side. "I suppose it was recently. Easier to pray without that dreadful sun hiding the moon."
"Yes," Minthara agreed, though she stopped walking at once. She glanced to either side. Nobody else was awake. "And which goddess have you decided is owed your allegiance, after all?"
"The one that stops you from melting in that torturous sunlight, all of your skin sloughed clean off and left to rot."
Hairs stood up on the back of Minthara's neck. Her breaths burned as they accelerated in her chest, and she felt sweat begin to form on her forehead.
These words. So familiar.
That smile.
The creature that wore Shadowheart's form smiled again, flashing her pearly teeth. Slowly, the grin slid into a grimace.
"You look as if you've seen the living dead, my love," said the creature in Shadowheart's voice.
A familiar sensation washed over Minthara, one that had been suppressed the last time she stood before this woman. Fear. The need to turn and run. Pounding in her skull like a headache but twice as vicious screamed for her to get away. Now. But another thought fought against the overwhelming roar of self-preservation.
Where, then, is Shadowheart?
"Your camp's paltry defenses were almost difficult to puncture, at first." A snap of bone cracked through the air as Shadowheart's head suddenly crooked to one side. With a flourish of silver hair turning a dull, waxy yellow, Orin stood up and grinned. She brandished her curved, crimson knife. "But like any spine, the touch of a blade slices clean until only we remain. My darling web spinner, how I have missed the way your body drips with fear-scent."

how can you ship loustat when loumand exists? im not being rude im just curious because armand is the love of louis life and they have been longer together than lestat and louis. armand doesnt cheat on louis he doesnt beat louis so i dont understand how someone who claims to love louis would not want him with the better man. again not being rude
anon please please please and i cannot stress this enough please realize that i realy dont give an iota of fuck about whats supposedly good better or healthy for louis you know why because louis doesnt exist he isnt real none of this is real its fiction the only thing i care about is if im getting an interesting and stimulating story personally im indifferent to loumand because both anne and louis were indifferent to them i can appreciate their anti-romance their unfulfilled aborted love story on like an intellectual level but it leaves me emotionally dead and cold but also crucially i came for the operatic drama and only one ship is delivering on that front maybe if louis tried to kill armand and maybe if their hearts were to beat in tandem and maybe if there was an invisible cord tying them together and maybe if they had their second honeymoon in the midst of a murder plot and maybe if they had apocalyptic jealousy fits at the mere thought of the other with a third and maybe if they created a vampire child to trap and doom each other for eternity and maybe if the spectre of one haunted the other post murder attemp and maybe if their divorce led to the near extinction level genocide of the vampire species and maybe if and maybe if and maybe if .....

👕👀 if that's alright? totally not gonna try to base an actual outfit later of off this to go out nope dfgdfg
YES ABSOLUTELY - a portal opens up between universes and realities... Thedas and Golarion suddenly within reach of one another... Mino looks through the portals and sees one of the most gorgeous creatures even in her life: Sarikh Surana...! Everything about his grace and fashion sense, from his armor to his Orlesian gala dresses...! She would like to invite him to a private lunch so to meet one another, interdimensional dignitary that he is!
Top AND Bottoms: First thing is that she absolutely knows she is finding him a dress or skirt - or something similar. She's seen him in that one butterfly dress and it was hauntingly beautiful. That being said, this is simply a lunch date! Also it's quite hot in Cheliax, so she's found something light and airy that'll compliment his figure AND those to-die-for red tresses. She noticed he often sports a plunging neckline, so this over-length shirt with exactly that, puffy sleeves, and tied together with this green belted wrap skirt will work wonders! It'll call back to his elvhen heritage and usual wardrobe, while being a little cooler for the heat and a little more modern.
Shoes: Mino took a look through your wardrobe and found all sorts of cute shoes! She also noticed the lack of heels, but is pushing these Sarikh's way anyway. They may be a little too high of a heel, so she'll happily have them mended to be lower if needed! The brown ribbon laces are just too cute, and will work wonderfully with the white and green colors above!
Hair/Hat: Sarikh your hair is GORGEOUS! Mino doesn't want to cover it up in anyway, only draw even more attention to that stunning red. She's picked out this gold comb with green jewels to tuck into your hair. It'll further compliment the asymmetrical look and bring out your hair color even more.
Other Accessories: Does Sarikh even need any more accessories? He's already beautiful as is! Mino is hesitant to add anymore, not wanting to overcomplicate the fit, but she does love these little winged earcuffs. They'll be modified to fit his ears, of course, and they call back to his own knightly order with the griffon wings (she would talk his ear off forever asking questions about the Grey Wardens you know). She also found these leather hand covers with a nature motif that will work with the rest of the earthen tones in the outfit!
