okay unfortunately I saw this was a thing WAY too late, but!

I just know James, Lily, Marlene, and Sirius had a riot when Remus married Tonks like:

“He did not!!”

“That’s like- my niece?? I die, and he marries my niece!”

“Well, he had to marry into the Black family somehow…”

“Come on guys this is clearly a lavender marriage, no way that girl is straight.”

Friendly reminder that fan films are pretty much just expensive to make fanfics and not parts of official canon. If the fan film doesn't matches your headcanons it's not an end of the world and sending negative comments is never okay. Also just because a headcanon is popular that does not mean creators of the fan film need to put it in their film. This is their story and they decice what is in it. Are we clear?

To be clear a lot of this is my own headcanons. I don't expect everyone to share my thoughts or agree with me.

Also, forgive any typos and errors. This is a document I use for writing reference, and I was too lazy to look over it before sharing it.

What the marauders era would order from the chippy as a classified Brit

Remus = large cod and chips. And eats every bloody bite. His parents would get it for him every Friday from ages infant to all the way when he goes round for dinner in his adulthood

James = sausage in batter. Loves it so much and eats the batter first then the sausage

Peter = cod bites. Like the smaller pieces of cod and a large chips but never finishes it

Sirius = savaloy and chips because he grew up not having it and wanted to be different when they all get it. He also likes the snap when you bite into it.

Regulus = chicken and mushroom pie and chips. He eats it with a knife and fork.

Marlene = chicken and chips. Most likely strips but no spice cause she can't take it

Lily = fish cake and chips. Remus refuses to eat next to her because he thinks if you're gonna eat fish eat it properly

Mary = the same as Marlene but gets spicy chicken strips and spicy spuds instead of chips and washes it all down with a Rubicon mango

Dorcas = cod and chips like Remus and challenges him to who can eat it all first

Evan = chips. Just a fuck ton of chips

Barty = nuggets and chips cause he's a lil baby

Childhood Friends Headcannon/AU

1. Peter and Marlene ‘got married’ in elementary school. James officiated

2. When Sirius and Marlene started dating James and Peter would jokingly call him the mistress

3. After they got married Marlene referred to Peter as ‘her first or ex husband’ sometimes

4. Sirius does not find this as amusing as she does

5. James informed her that he wasn’t an officiant and so her marriage to Peter was not legally binding

6. Marlene and Peter were both ‘shocked’ at this revelation

7. Remus finds this all very amusing

8. Peter and Marlene get each other things every year on their ‘anniversary’

9. Neither has any romantic interest in the other they just think it’s funny

10. Sirius was so confused when he asked Marlene out and she said she would have to check with her husband

11. She then turned to Peter and asked him if it was cool if she went on a date with him

12. James and Peter both started laughing

13. In a world where Sirius and Marlene have a kid she sometimes refers to Peter as ‘other dad’

14. Sirius really doesn’t like this joke

15. The other Marauders do

15. When their kid is old enough to catch on the sometimes call Peter ‘Uncle Dad’

16. In a world where Peter did kill Marlene when she was reunited with James she told him ‘don’t you know the husband is usually the culprit?’

17. She then broke down crying

18. Lily pretends to be offended she wasn’t invited to Marlene’s first wedding even though they didn’t know each other then

19. Before Peter killed her she looked him dead in the eye and told him she wanted a divorce

20. This made him almost give in to his guilt

TROTO EPISODE TWO WAS SO GOOD

I really liked the friendship between Regulus and Dorcas. They're so underrated and it was really sweet seeing Regulus encourage Dorcas to ask out Marlene. I also really liked how worried Dorcas was about what her friends would think, especially considering how that changes over the course of the episode

And then there was Dumbledore asking Remus to join the Order. I get why he did it, since it would be an advantage for their side if they could convince the werewolves not to join up with Voldemort, but Remus is so young. And James and Sirius being so willing to fight and so confident that they would be fine made me so sad. They're just kids, and they shouldn't be fighting in a war, but they also don't really have a choice. The war will affect them, whether they fight or not

And Peter just broke my heart. He's scared, he doesn't want to lose his friends or his own life, but he's pressured to join. I actually think that he was the most pragmatic one. He is terrified, but justifiably so, while James, Sirius and Remus don't seem to fully understand what joining the war will be like. Of course, like I said, they don't really have a choice. But I just feel like they're overconfident, and aren't as scared as they should be

AND JAMES IS WEARING RED CONVERSE

I also really liked the conversation between James and Lily. They're so sweet, and I love how Lily is finally seeing how James changed, which is now letting them become closer

Everyone singing "happy birthday" to Sirius was so adorable. Lily being the only adult was also really funny

And then, there was Barty. Let's just say that he's not my favourite at the moment

But that scene with Dorcas was so heart-wrenching for me. Dorcas is finally seeing that her friends aren't the best people, and she's angry about that. Her confronting Barty made me applaud her. But it also really hurt seeing how Evan and Regulus weren't really stepping in, and while they didn't take Barty's side, they also didn't take hers. It's the moment she really realizes that she has completely opposing views from her friends, and that she can't simply ignore it for the sake of their friendship anymore. And she shouldn't have to

Off-topic, but I really love Dorcas' earrings

And then, we have Regulus, Barty and Evan talking about what happened. Regulus is torn up about what happened, and you can see how he hesitates with agreeing with Barty. And with what happened last episode, it really just seems to me like he doesn't fully agree with the views of his friends and family, but he also doesn't want to betray them. It's different from Evan, who seems to agree with Barty more, and the only reason he's not as loud about his views as Barty is because he doesn't want to damage his friendship with Dorcas

And Pandora putting flowers in Regulus' hair was just so sweet. I love their friendship, and I love how Pandora is willing to be there for Regulus, but also doesn't compromise her own values for it (like when she refused to call Sirius nasty names). I definitely feel like there will be conflict between Pandora and the others for the same reason as Dorcas. This episode really showed us the cracks in their friendship, and how those cracks are only widening because of the war

I also just really loved Dorcas and Marlene. They were off to a rough start, but then Dorcas came to Marlene to talk, which is how they became closer. And their flirting was just so cute. Even if Dorcas' friendship with the others is falling apart, I'm really glad she has Marlene

And another James and Lily scene! I still really love how they're growing closer and being friendly, especially since they were also off to a rough start

Regulus apologizing to Dorcas was... interesting. He really seems to want to fix their friendship, but like I said earlier, he doesn't want to betray the views of his friends and family. He can't choose Dorcas over them, so instead of it fixing their friendship, his apology only drives them further apart. And Marlene punching him was unexpected, but absolutely deserved

I loved Barty and Evan playing chess together. They have such good chemistry, and their banter is really fun. I also liked how they mentioned that Regulus and Pandora always go off on their own. Their friendship means everything to me

Dorcas and Marlene holding hands was just really cute, as well as Dorcas healing Marlene's hand. Neither of them seem the least bit remorseful about punching Regulus, which is totally fair, honestly

okay but imagine Marlene having to disappear, having to hide from the death eaters. the worry that everyone would feel for her and for themselves,and that despite the fear they all still keep on fighting.

imagine when she dies.

when at HER FUNERAL, James and lily have to tell the boys that they have to do the same thing she did,they have to hide.

and imagine Peter, looking almost sick with worry, talking with the two of them,and Sirius, as he makes them believe that Sirius is too unsafe,that he can't be the secret keeper because they'll go for him first and kill him. and how James knows that Sirius will die before telling their secret.

imagine all of them deciding to make Peter,their close friend, who was the only one crying, during the whole funeral.

imagine when he's the one who betrays them,kills them.
