hi hello!! I really enjoy your au, and the small tidbits I find here and there paint such a vivid picture in my mind. I was wondering if you could indulge me just a little. What where the moms' reactions to meeting the Omega daddies? Specifically Samantha?

Canonically, I don't think Ron ever talked about his father besides the fact that his dad died on a fishing trip and was never proud of him. I imagine he probably opened up a little to his wife, but that was it.

Followup on that tidbit, how would Ron's anchor work? Is it like traveling through Willy's mind and seeing things from his perspective, or is it an owl house "jump through these paintings of his memories and see for yourself" situation? And since we know about the doodler's influence on that course of events, do the moms see it? (Let's be honest, the dad's are not perceptive enough to see anything besides Ron struggling).

i actually think about this a LOT, because a massive staple of my specific take on this au is that the moms... arent supposed to be here! the dads were supposed to be taken instead, just like in canon, and so everyone is quite confused throughout their interactions XD like you point out - samantha doesnt know who willy is, and in fact, no one knows who anybody else is besides morgan and bill :]

their first interactions, pre-reveal, are mostly confusion on both ends. the moms have no fuckin clue whats going on. the omega daddies are scrambling to figure out what went wrong and come up with reasons why the moms suck (not hard to do). by the time the reveal comes around, the o-dads are on steadier footing, but the moms are still utterly flabbergasted. only morgan and carol ever met their fathers-in-law, and well. obviously frank is not a villain here, so only morgan recognizes anyone LMAO

as for what samantha knows of willy and how she reacted... she doesnt (didnt) know what he looks like, and she doesnt know the full of ron's experiences in childhood. she just knows, like you said, he was an abusive father who died on a fishing trip when ron was young. she definitely knows more than most, ron has opened up to her about it, but she doesnt know the details. upon meeting him, shes. well. less than impressed! samantha is notably a very forgiving and kind character, even to those they are enemies with, but willy (and the o-dads as a whole) is someone she never gives any benefit of the doubt. as soon as she learns who he is, shes over it and very on board with "well lets just kill the guy." she hates his ass!!

And me saying I love Tanaka this much does NOT mean I don’t love all the other characters almost the same. THEY ARE ALL SO AMAZING HELP

All of the third years are so kind but also so hilarious and older brothers to the whole group!! Hinata is the goofiest lil guy and I LOVE watching him in the backgrounds! He’s always jumping around and doing goofy stuff!! Hinata is definitely up there with my favs (as I write this so many scenes are coming to mind) and Nishanoya has so many wonderful moments with Asahi and Tanaka it’s WONDERFUL!!

Also have you seen the tall blond guy with glasses yet and his friend? I love them very much, especially in later seasons!!

Also after you watch the season one finale, I’d love to hear your thoughts because that is one doozy of an episode. (It’s my fav episode I think)

YES!! I didn’t talk about Daichi and Asahi in my post but I love them so much too!!! Daichi is so reliable and level-headed and I LOVE that he’s just an older brother to the whole entire group!! And Asahi is such a subversion of expectations!! I love that he’s one of (if not) the least inclined to pick fights and start yelling at people despite being the most physically intimidating!

AGGHH I LOVE HINATA SO MUCH!!! His energy and excitement are contagious!! Same with Nishinoya! (He just has the added bonus of being the shortest member of the team AND big brother vibes [I’m a sucker for sibling duos who aren’t actually siblings XD])

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, right? Yes!! Right now Tsukishima gets on my nerves, but I like Yamaguchi a lot!! I feel kinda bad for him honestly? Like the vibe I’m getting from them as a duo is that Tsukishima is Yamaguchi’s comfortable person and Yamaguchi follows him around like a duckling as a result. But then Tsukishima kinda just ignores him?? Idk I could totally be misreading this. REGARDLESS, I can’t wait to see Yamaguchi’s serve in action! I haven’t seen anything about it since he asked to be taught, so as much as I love the others I’m kinda hoping something happens so he gets some game time here soon? And I’m sure Tsukishima will either get better or more tolerable over time! Right now I just don’t like him because he’s being mean to the sunshine XD

I literally said out loud "if Lloyd loses to this guy (invisible man) that would be REALLY pathetic!" But no, he's protected by his protagonist status. Sora and Nya were protected by their girlboss status. Cole and Zane unfortunately had neither so they had to be cannon fodder.

Since being promoted to detective it has been absolutely manic at the station. You were told by your superior that most detectives don’t get major cases until a couple months down the line but you seemed to be very lucky considering you were currently dealing with a serial killer that seems to be targeting women. They are currently known as The Eyeball Killer because once they have killed their victim they surgically remove both their eyeballs.

At the moment you believe they are doing this because they want some kind of trophy from each victim, or they have some weird obsession with eyeballs. You were currently sitting in your office trying to come up with any kind of leads. You were looking at his first victim Mary Lou Pratt. She was found shot in the back of the head but the post mortem showed that her eyes had been surgically removed.

Ok so you have one piece of information. The killer has good surgical skills, maybe they have medical training? Maybe they practised really well before trying their skills on a person but either way they managed to get the eyeballs out of their sockets without causing too much damage to the surrounding tissue.

You also knew that Mary Lou had stolen some goods from a warehouse. You did think that maybe it was someone who held a grudge but this would have been quite the over reaction for stealing some goods with low value. You followed that lead for a while but it went cold. Around the same time a young woman named Veronica came down to the station and reported that she had been raped and he tried to kill her.

You could tell she had been attacked due the fact she had a massive head wound. She had been seen again a week later with some guy in a truck. You decided to have the vehicle pulled over to see if she was ok hoping the guy she was with might have been the killer but you had no such luck and his story checked out.

At the moment you had no leads and there was nothing you could do until they attacked again because at the moment there was no moving forward. You hated when cases came to a halt like this because the only way you could move forward resulted in someone else dying. You sat in your office with your head in your hands until you were startled by your office phone ringing.

You shot up hoping that something related to your case was coming through. “Detective y/ln speaking” you answered. “Detective, a body has been found. A young woman, half naked, head wound and no eyes” they stated. You immediately knew that this was The Eyeball Killer’s doing. “Send me over the address, I’m on my way” you said as you waited for them to fax over the address.

You walked out of your office with the piece of paper and went to find your colleague. “Miranda, we have a development in the case. You're with me for the rest of this case. I believe we have a serial killer on our hands” you said to her as you quickly walked past her to which she followed.

There were two reasons why you chose Miranda as your partner for the rest of this case. One she was a really good constable and always came up with great ideas but the second and most important reason was that you had this huge crush on her and you just wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. You knew that Miranda didn’t feel the same hence why you have never said anything so just spending time with her was enough instead.

You both made your way to the squad car with you getting in the driver side of the car and Miranda getting in the passenger seat. “So what lead do we have this time?” Miranda asked. “We have just had a call stating that a half naked young woman has been found. Killed in the same way as the very first victim.

“Oh shit. We better get down there quick. Hopefully we will be able to follow a good lead this time that will get us further in identifying the killer” she said as you started the engine and sped off in the direction of where the body was found. The journey was silent due to you both trying to mentally prepare yourself for what you were about to see and praying that this lead will get you somewhere this time. You don’t want more innocent people to die.

When you arrived you were greeted by the officers already on scene. “What do we know so far?” you asked as you and Miranda walked into the crime scene which happened to be a motel room. “Ok so we have managed to identify her due to her having her ID on her. The victim is 27 year old Susan Peterson. She was found half naked with her top pulled up to reveal her breasts” the officer said.

“Just like the first victim, so we are definitely dealing with the same killer” you said as you and Miranda walked over to the body. You and Miranda assessed the body with you calling out what you could see while Miranda made a note of everything you said. “Victim has a gunshot wound to the back of the head as well as her left breast. I’m going to say the bullet has entered the heart but won’t know until the autopsy.

“There is one more thing you should know, detective,” the officer said to you. “Yes and what is that?” you asked. “Apparently she told her parole officer that she knew who Mary Lou’s killer was. I reckon that’s why she was the next victim” he said plainly. “Fuck sake!” you shouted as you stormed off the crime scene. That was just your luck. Your one lead had been killed and she actually had information that would have aided the case.

Miranda followed you making sure you were ok. You went straight to the front desk and asked for a room as you just needed somewhere to sit and think for 10 minutes. They handed over a key and as you went to turn around you ended up walking straight into Miranda. “Shit, I’m sorry Miranda, I just need 10 minutes to think” you said as you looked at the key number and went to find the room.

“I will come with you. We can just sit and chat. It doesn’t even need to be about the case. A distraction might help at a time like this” she said as she squeezed your shoulder gently trying to reassure you. This is why you liked her. Well not only is she beautiful but she had an amazing personality and a caring soul. You just wished she felt the same.

When you got into the room you just sat down on the only double bed and just laid back trying to absorb all the information that had been thrown at you in the last half an hour. You let out a huge sigh. “I feel bad for the families. Like who knows what their last words to them were. Were things left on good terms? Just makes you think about things. You never really know when your last day on this planet is, so you might as well do things you want and say the things that deep down you want to say” she said while playing with her hands.

She had a point. “I think you're right about that Miranda” you said not really knowing what to say. You wanted to tell her how you felt but you were currently on a job and you didn’t think it was the right time but when was the time ever right? You thought about saying something until you felt Miranda’s hand grip your thigh quite high up.

You shot your head to look at her. “Well I just wanted to say, considering I was just saying we should always speak what’s on our minds while we still have the chance. I just wanted to say that I really like you y/n. I have since the moment I first met you. I didn’t say anything before because I didn’t know what your reaction would be and considering we are co-workers I didn’t want to make things awkward” she said to you while caressing your thigh.

That’s it you’re officially the worst detective in the world. How could you not tell that the woman you had been crushing on for ages also felt the exact same way. You didn’t know how to respond so you did the only thing you could think of at that moment and that was to kiss her.

You brought your hand to cup her face and slowly leaned in for a gentle yet passionate kiss. Miranda relaxed into your grasp before finally responding to the kiss. The gentle and passionate kiss eventually turned into something more desperate. When you finally pulled away for air you both just rested your foreheads on one another waiting for the other to say something.

“You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this to happen” Miranda whispered as she grazed your lips. “We have the time, why don’t I show you how desperate I have been for this moment” you whispered as you connected your lips once again. You moaned into the kiss as you grabbed her vest and took it off her, throwing it onto the floor.

You pushed Miranda onto the bed as you then crawled onto her body trailing kisses from the base of her neck all the way to her lips. Miranda let out a moan as you teased her neck with your kisses. You leaned back so you could unbutton her shirt which revealed a black bra which hugged her breasts perfectly which caused you to moan at the sight of her.

Okay so I just played through the newest chapter and ISUSJSHSIDBDJDHDJJSHS I have a lot of things to say!

First of all, I kind of didn't expect Esmond to act the way he does??? I expected him to be the super-stoic character who like, never smiles, but he smiled like 2 minutes into talking with Capella which took me out ISISHSISBJSBE– but I can't say I'm upset about that! In fact I liked seeing him all smiley, it felt very nice, and I do like his more calm demeanor. (I also gave him a British accent while playing through the chapter USHSUSBDHBS I don't know why xD...)

Second of all, I hope we get to see Furnando, like, actually see him. He intrigues me a lot, and I just really wanna see him interact with Capella. I also may or may not have a thing for eccentric gingers but sjshsbisbe you didn't hear that from me–

Third of all, this is a bit of a minor thing, but were those lines towards the end of Esmond and Capella's conversation a reference to Here For Sweethearts? Specifically "I hope I never break your heart", that really reminded me of Nova and their shenanigans. Though I truly hope (and believe) that Capella isn't like that, she just seems to be too genuinely sweet to be hiding any ill intentions.

So it´s understandable for her to think like that. People in the past gave her the feeling that they feel embarrassed to be with her. (psychological abusement) And if you witness it everyday then you start thinking like that. (well personaly I witnessed it too and it´s difficult to erase this thought)

This is why, his words may seem nice and sweet and they totally are. Because he straightforward told her that he isn´t this type of person, but it will take more time for her to realize it. But slowly they will come closer.

With Waxer, I think I really like getting into the head of someone who is generally very optimistic and sees the best in people, which is not like me at all. I also enjoy the tension between his kindness and the fact that he was made for violence and is a trained killer (even if he mostly fights droids). 🥺 Oh and his particular brands of anxiety and anxiety relief are super fun to write, too!

I love writing Boil's pov because half of it is just like a constant love letter to Waxer, haha, but I also enjoy his more subtle, quiet kindness and his introspection (I've often said that writing my version of him is like '5 words of dialogue for every 3 paragraphs of inner monologue' XD;). The conflict between his realism/pragmatism and just like, being around Waxer is very fun, too. I'm always surprised that people seem to like his pov so much, but I don't think that's influenced my enjoyment.

yessss I love it! FNAF has a special place in my heart; I was playing Toy Bonnie, Springtrap, and an OC on RP blogs back when the first games came out! If you laugh at her reactions, she’ll probably force close the Kuroshitsuji app and sulk for a while… meaning that every time you open it and try to talk to her specifically, she’ll make the app crash. She finally moans that life is hard enough, why couldn’t you pick a nice, wholesome farming game or something?? Gah. She’ll play it with you again, if you really want; just don’t tease her when she screams!

Ah, no, stop checking the camera!! Y’re gonna run down the power! Er… well… okay, y’ can check it this once, but… ugh! He’s hung up on the strategies rather than being too scared of the animatronics. At first, anyway. The first time you let Mike die to a jumpscare, he shrieks like a banshee. Those animations are just too detailed and creepy, as far as he’s concerned. If nothing else, he’s happy to keep playing despite the fear of getting another one of them. Actually, he considers it a point of pride to see all the animations. Come on, he won’t let you wimp out and stop playing until you survive the night!!

Oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, turn the lights on! They were so sure they heard one’a those damn robots comin’!! Aaaaah… dead because you guys were too slow to close the door. After the two of you die the first time, they’re urging you to try again. Of course, they screamed at the jumpscare, so you might ask if they really are sure they want to play again. They do, though! They talk about how their heart was racing (even though they, er, don’t have one, do they??), and how it was so much fun. Did it scare them? Absolutely. Did they enjoy it? No doubt! It’s something they love doing with you, so, they’ll play it as many times as you like.

Haha, Lord, this is an awful waste’a time and ‘e couldn’t be ‘appier tae be playin’ it with ye! What ‘appens if th’ lights go out, again…? … Oh. Right, death! He manages to crack jokes the whole time, but some of the content in this game actually sort of gets to him. Being trapped in an enclosed space with no options to just run, and only your own reaction times to keep yourself safe? That’s one of the scariest situations he can imagine to be in. That said, he’s quite fast, so if you’d prefer to give him commands, he can connect to the Five Nights at Freddy’s app itself and do things almost instantly rather than you pressing buttons. He’s helpful if you’ve tried a few times and are just a bit slow to survive. He’ll play with you as much as you want… just maybe play something a little bit more lighthearted before closing the Kuroshitsuji app for the night??

Y’ sure y’ really wanna play this one, eh? The premise is a li’l odd, ain’t it? ‘N’ the mechanics are so simple, is it even a challenge or… FUCK, THAT’S A GIANT ROBOT ANIMAL, CLOSE THE DOOR!! For as much as he isn’t usually rattled by things (in fact, there are times he seems stoic and emotionless), he pays dearly in finding out how scary this game is, because he severely underestimated it. When you let Mike die for the first time, the Kuroshitsuji app crashes; upon opening it back up, Jumbo will bashfully apologize and ask if you want to try playing again. He’s prepared now, he promises! Well, until that music box starts playing. It’s so pretty, isn’t it? … Dammit, okay, try one more time!

Oi, y’ sure this is s’posed t’ be a, y’know, a ‘orror game? From wot ‘e sees, it looks like a game f’r li’l kids ‘r somethin’. All colorful ‘n’ cheesy ‘n’… GOD! Rabbits shouldn’t be that fuckin’ scary!!! After letting Mike die for the first time, Peter just sort of zones out for a second. He’s got the horror game equivalent of a thousand-yard stare, as if he’s trying very hard to comprehend what the hell just happened. After a moment he snaps out of it and demands that the two of you try again. He’s fully committed to playing it until you survive the entire five nights, if only to prove that he’s not scared. In fact, find all the secret stuff! He’ll do those five nights and more! No stupid game gets the better of him!

(Aww, why isn’t there a snake animatronic? That would be so much fun!) Yes, he supposes it would be, Donne. (Let’s jus’ play it, we’ll show ‘em w’o’s boss!) Snake doesn’t share the aggressive enthusiasm, Wilde, but he’s willing to give it a go. He gets spooked quite quickly, though, and comments that he wishes he was a real person so he could hide behind you. (Of course, the snakes do the talking. It’s less embarrassing to admit that way.) He can barely get through one night without getting so scared he crashes the Five Nights at Freddy’s app. If he does manage it, however, his confidence grows a little and he’s able to formulate some better strategies for getting through another. It’s… fun to bond with you like this, even though he gets scared. He’ll keep playing, if you want.

Eep!! Good God, ‘ow do these ‘uge, ‘ulkin’ things move so damn fast?? It don’t seem fair at all! ‘Ow are y’ two s’posed t’ keep from dyin’? Well, she s’poses that’s wot makes it a challenge. That’s the whole point of the game, so she can’t really complain too much that it’s difficult. She jumps at every little sound in the game, and urges you to check the cameras often. This isn’t something she’s good at — she ends up having you check the cameras so often the power runs out, and you don’t last till 6 A.M. It’s a miracle if you last till 3, the way she plays. She at least is the only one to explain that because she’s part of an app inside the phone, it feels so much more… real to her! Thankfully, she’s a good sport. Even if she ends up screaming at every jumpscare, she’s fine playing it until you get bored. It beats just sitting round doing nothing! (Though, even that isn’t so bad with you.)

Thoughts on The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday Part 2

“Christmas is officially back on!” And apparently, a city news reporter like yourself has the power to declare a holiday uncanceled. Why is Diane not in this again?

The others’ reactions to Snake getting all touchy-feely 🥹. OMG I WANNA HUG HIM SO BAD!!! (At the same time though, the close-ups on his face during this scene are so off-putting that it kinda ruins the moment for me.)

“That vortex is about to suck in the whole city, we don’t have time to be mad at me.” Sure, Wolf. Act like endangering your only friends isn’t worth getting angry over. You’ve really disappointed me this time. 😔

In all fairness though, at least he does apologize and admits how much the others mean to him. And I love how the other guys pretend to be disgusted but at the same time are moved to tears, while Snake is just like, “Yeah, whatever 😒.” (Even though we all know he’s bawling on the inside.)

The scene right after Shark is tossed out of the vortex without his shirt…the characters look like they’re literally floating off the ground…

That one random guy getting sucked into the vortex is actually pretty funny…in a “WTF is this animation?” kind of way.

Aww, that’s adorable how the Bad Guys try to save each other from the vortex 😊…Now can we talk about the fact that the animators clearly just took still images of Piranha and Tarantula and moved them around?

Wolf’s motions as he’s falling out of the Santa bot…again, what is this, the Looney Tunes? Oh and nice dust effect when he lands by the way. I feel like this was made for a PlayStation 2 game, not Netflix.

Wait…so, the promo for this special clearly showed Shark in a Santa suit…but the closest we get to him cosplaying as Santa is him doing a voice. What. 😐

Oh, and since the Bad Guys were exposed to potentially-lethal, freezing temperatures, they all end up sick on Christmas. And Wolf has the gall to complain despite being the reason it happened. Just be thankful it’s only a cold and not frostbite, buddy.

In all seriousness though, I feel bad for them. Like, I wanna make them all better, but mostly Snake. He looks soooo miserable and I can only imagine how as a kid he must have had no one to take care of him when he was sick. That is so heartbreaking. And when he says “Bah humbug” in the middle of sneezing? Awww, poor baby! 🥺

Apparently, Santa really does exist in this universe and the Bad Guys are miffed that they ended up on his Nice List. Which…kinda seems out of character in all honesty. Like…wasn’t them being treated as something other than criminals the reason they turned good in the movie? They’re not disgusted by the concept of good (except maybe Snake); They just don’t understand it. Now I see why people had a problem with this being set before the movie.

And we end with the Bad Guys planning to heist the North Pole…which would have made a much better, much more interesting holiday special. If this does become a series, I hope they make an episode out of that.

And before we get to my final thoughts, let’s see which of my predictions for the special came true:

There will be at least one reference to the Grinch-✅ Yep! And a Die Hard reference, too, surprisingly.

The gang will have a Christmas tree with stolen jewels for ornaments-❌ Nope. I don’t think they had any decorations in their hideout or at least none I could see.

Wolf will get a good tingle from saving everyone’s Christmas-❌ Nope. The opposite happened. He apparently hates the idea of being seen as good now. 🤨

Shark will be a mall Santa-❌ We don’t see him in a mall and the only likeness to the man in red he gives is his voice, so I’m gonna say no.

Piranha will have a holiday-themed musical number-✅ Got that one!

Someone will call Snake a “Scrooge”-❌ Nope. He acts like him and even says “Bah humbug,” but no one outright calls him that.

Also, Snake will secretly hate Christmas because of some past trauma-❌ They don’t say or even imply it, but let’s be honest: we know he has some form of trauma from Christmas.

Diane will only have a cameo-❌ Sadly, no. They were determined to keep her out of this special, apparently.

Luggins and Tiffany will return-Well, this one is half right.

The Bad Guys will have a gift exchange with stolen goods-❌ Nope. Go to luonnonvalinnat for that one ‘cause you ain’t gonna find it here.

Final score: 2.5/10. Wow. Either I don’t know the Bad Guys as well as I thought, or the creators of this potential series don’t know how to write them. Eh. I’m going with the latter.

As for the special itself? It's a 5/10 for me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we got to see the gang again and I'm even more glad we might get to see their shenanigans in a spinoff series some day. And even though it was kinda dumb and there was potential for it to be even better, I didn't mind the story that much. The voice acting is good enough, even if I don't recognize anyone's name except Grey DeLisle. It's the ANIMATION that really kills this thing for me. My god, what a trainwreck. Like, no joke, there were several times throughout this thing where I just wanted to look away because the characters were just...so ugly! I get that this is the result of a low budget, and they couldn't make it as fluid as the movie's animation. The problem, of course, is that the animation in the Bad Guys movie is SO beautifully fluid, even removing like 1% of its fluidity makes it look terrible. They probably should have done what Captain Underpants did and just made the whole thing 2D. At least then it would have looked somewhat appealing.

I don't know, if you haven't seen this special yet and are curious about it, I say just buy the novelization instead, because this alone is not worth a subscription to Netflix. Plus, the novelization includes a bonus chapter of the Bad Guys on New Year's, so there's that. And if you have seen the special, let me know what you guys thought about it. When you were assigned to teach the Google IRL unit what emotions were, to truly test the capabilities (and in part, using the learning abilities of the android to program the Emotional Regulator Chip), you really weren't sure what to expect. You had been warned that previous units without the ERC were volatile, often needing copious amounts of distraction and aggressive use of primary objectives while a team secured them for a hard reset. You were warned that even with the basics of the ERC, there was still a solid 40% chance of something going wrong.

But, you were confident.

Your first few sessions were oddly quiet. You went over basic emotions, focusing on positive ones, almost like explaining what they were to a child. It felt silly, considering this was a walking search engine, but there was a notable curiosity in the way he questioned your words, and each session he seemed to have a better and better grasp on the complexities of them.

Which is why you were surprised that at the end of your sessions, he began telling you trivia.

"Australia is wider than the moon by about 600 kilometers."

"A baby rabbit is referred to as a kit."

"Between the years of 1912 and 1948, music, painting, sculpture and architecture were all part of the Olympics."

You blinked, taking it all in stride until you held up your hand in the middle of the most recent one, where Google was explaining how humans are the only animals capable of feeling embarrassment, and that blushing is a unique phenomenon because of it.

"Google, I appreciate these facts, but...why? Why are you telling me about them?"

There was silence in the room for a long moment, as the android looked down at his hands. "Because, you have been teaching me. My research tells me that humans often require or expect a form of transactional repayment for work. I know it has not been easy to...educate a search engine, all things considered. I should be able to get an understanding from my resources. However..."

"It was missing the human element." You smiled softly, reaching out to take Google's hands in your own. His attention shifted upwards to meet your gaze, the almost silent hum of his internal electronics assisting the motion. And you knew that you had taught him. Because those microexpressions shifted over his face now, a subconscious story of surprise and of a soft happiness from your praise.

You still had much to teach him, and a long way to go, but you knew he would thrive with you by his side.

I'm not predicting anything here because again, we have established we are the hopeless romantics no predictions club forever. However, as a storyteller, I'm curious about your thoughts on the fact that, yes, it does appear that both Eddie and Buck are hurt.

Only because in my head this seems like the golden opportunity for any writer to complete this slow burn in magnificent form. For instance we as an audience see Buck be feral (in regards to Eddie being hurt)l but we never get to see Eddie actually witness it. There is also the fact that it's rain and lightening, poetically the same initial well incident. The incident we know had Eddie baby trapping Buck. I obviously have no clue what will happen, but it's hard not to be slightly more excited than usual that maybe just maybe the 911 writers really are gonna start the beginning of the feelings realization.

Also, maybe I will be a little bummed if they don't because like seriously, that is an opportunity not every writer is handed. The foundation is so heavily there!!

If I am being completely jaded, though, I think it really would be just the beginning. I know Buddie will be dragged out because they are the ship you know. But I am here for it all!!

While it does seem like Buddie are both hurt, I do wanna keep in mind that maybe what we've seen have been red herrings (not that likely, but it is a possibility). If they're not...

See, even then I'm scared of getting attached to the idea of how the writers might move Buddie towards feelings realization. I don't wanna get too hyped about it, and then be disappointed. I also try to keep in mind that while you are right, and both of them being hurt, lying at the hospital at the same time, same room or a couple of doors down from each other, one worried about the other, is a perfect opportunity for this shift... Well, the writers might also think that because they've been injured so many times already, in order to move them into canon territory something else is needed, a different type of interaction altogether. Maybe something that DOES revolve more directly around Christopher and the little family they've built together? We've seen it remaining central even as both guys were with other women, but what happens if something ACTUALLY threatens it?

I also wanna keep in mind that, if we believe Kristen Reidel, then Eddie will be dating in 6b. That COULD be some sort of a panic reaction to realizing his feelings for Buck, but it didn't sound like that from how she talked about it. Then again, as you might have noticed, I don't necessarily believe everything that comes out of a showrunner's mouth. So as usual with me, it gets me back to square one, shrugging and reminding myself I just have to wait and see.

It would be funny if Lucy is Vidic’s daughter in this one and she’s also thirsting for Desmond, being all flirty but suave about it then she sees her father sitting on the bar counter and she sees him undressing Desmond with his eyes and is like “Dad?!” and Vidic turns around and sees her and… Desmond and Clay get to watch a father-daughter duo try to shame each other all the while trying to ignore the fact that they have the same taste in men.

Yeeesss. Becca gets to be known as the ‘tech gal’ so no one would think that she’s the one giving Reda the names which were mostly jokes she said to Reda. Becca had feared for her life the first ten times Reda decides to put it on the menu but now… she loves the reactions everyone makes when they hear or have to say the order (and customers must say the order, pointing it in the menu will not be honored).

Ohohohoho, it would be a grand event if Desmond dance for the first time too. The event would probably be called something like ‘Desmond’s First Time’ XD

I’m thinking the AltDesEzi menu name would be ‘Legal in 19 States’ because it’s apparently legal to marry first cousins in 19 States in the US or, if you wanna go down the more ‘they could be mistaken as brothers’ route: ‘Keeping It in The Family’. Although… any dance with Desmond has a clear no-touching rule unless the customer wants to get some unsexy beating from a few people (I kinda like the idea that Desmond is okay with people watching him but he doesn’t like to be touched by strangers and allowing Altaïr, Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton to touch him is a huge sign of how he feels about them).

I love ‘The da Vinci Code’ for Leonardo's menu name and the EziLeo menu would be ‘Draw Him Like One of Your Italian Boys’ XD

Bayek and Aya definitely have a couple’s routine and it’s both hot and really shows how much they love one another. It’s rarely done though because, well, many of the customers are there to thirst for their favorite, and seeing said favorite show such love and devotion to a specific person kinda ruins the experience.

This is not the same for any of Desmond’s routines with his men because the main allure of Desmond ever since he was a bartender is that he’s ‘unattainable’ (so there’s gonna be a bit of blue rose motif going on for him as well) and only being able to watch him but never have him is part of the kink.

(But shippers definitely go wild for couples’ routines)

I… do not want to check if there is a Matthew McConaughey scene like that because I can vaguuueely remember there being one so, yes, we’ll have Jacob do a British tong variant of that one.

I’ve spent WAAAAYYYY too long thinking about this, so I figured I’d share.

A modern day AC AU where Desmond is a bartender at a high end strip club. Altair, Ezio, and Ratonhnhaké:ton are, of course, dancers. Altair starts out as his arrogant AC1 self, he has a nice body and knows it. Ezio is, of course, flirty and loves the attention dancing gets him. He doesn’t actually need the money seeing as his family is filthy rich. Meanwhile Ratonhnhaké:ton is dancing ONLY for the money. He’s quiet but perceptive, typically steering clear of Altair as he can be quite snooty, and Ezio because his flagrant flirting makes Ratonhnhaké:ton uncomfortable.

Desmond, while an experienced bartender, is new to the establishment. And within a month of his employment all three dancers come to the same conclusion.

They need to get Desmond to agree to a date.

Now I’m thinking this evolves into a harem situation, where at first all three want to date Desmond, then are trying to out compete each other for Desmond’s affections, and in the end all 4 of them are dating each other.

Also I was thinking of a schedule for the club, lol. It’d be a mixed club, so men and woman dancers, servers, bartenders, and clientele. Mondays are men only nights, so only men are working the club and only men are allowed in. A sort of ‘gay’ night, if you will. Likewise, Wednesdays are woman only, or ‘lesbian’ night. Fridays are themed, which is posted the Monday before on their website. The theme can be anything, and while clientele are encouraged to also dress in the theme, it’s not mandatory, but the workers of the club have to dress as the theme. Some examples would be like holidays, Halloween, Christmas, valentines, st Patrick’s day, etc. And then Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are mixed crowds with the dancers allowed to do their own routines.

And I’m going to stop there, because I’ve already put too much thought into a fiction idea I probably won’t ever write due to time constraints lol.

I kinda like the idea that Desmond’s old bartending job is actually Bad Weather and he had to find a new one because Bad Weather got into… well… let’s just say it’s under investigation by the cops at the moment. The detective on the case was like “Don’t skip town for now, kid. Sure, you’re clean but it’ll look bad if you just leave while we’re investigating and shit” and Desmond got a job in the high end strip club because he has no other option. (And the pay was better than all the other options he had)

The owner looked super young to be the owner of a strip club but Desmond isn’t going to ask any questions at all and just goes to work in the high end strip club called “Thousand Eyes”.

And, ohohoho, he has been a bartender for a long time now so he knows when someone is attracted to him. All three of the best dancers being attracted to him?

Desmond didn’t like playing the field or even just leading someone on but her co-bartender Layla (a college student working there to pay for college) was like “No, no, this is pure entertainment gold, man. As long as you’re upfront about the whole ‘yeah, you three are thirsty for my dick’ (Layla!), you’ll be fine.” and well… Desmond didn’t really had any say about the matter in the end because Ezio goaded Altaïr and that turned into a competition between them which Ratonhnhaké:ton gets roped into. Desmond actually felt bad for Ratonhnhaké:ton until he realized that Ratonhnhaké:ton was just as competitive as the two and, really, having the attention of three hot men were too much for Desmond. He was only human and Layla was the devil on his shoulder pushing him to the dark side and yeah…

Desmond decided to milk it.

It backfired and he fell in love with all three of them instead.

Fuck.

Unorganized Notes:

Shaun is the accountant of the strip club. He comes every few weeks and always leaves slightly buzzed after hearing the latest ‘competition’ for Desmond’s hand. (Desmond is sure Shaun is living vicariously thru him… but he’s not going to say that out loud)

Layla is the main bartender for the woman only days and she’s an engineering student. She has a girlfriend named Deanna who likes to come to the club and watch her girlfriend get flirted with by other people. Desmond likes to joke it’s a voyeur thing, Layla keeps telling him that he’s not using the right word.

Clay is also a bartender and is in charge of the website and social media accounts of the strip club. On the side, he has a discord server where he talks about the shenanigans the three go to just to catch Desmond’s attention and people in his discord (which pretty much includes the regulars and some of the employees except the three idiots and the object of their affection) love it. He’s the sole reason why the strip club has an online shipping war going on and he’s milking it because of the whole ‘support your bias by coming to the club!’ posts.

Desmond has no idea who makes the ‘menu’ for private dances but he thinks they are either a genius who wishes to remain anonymous or they’re hiding their identity because they know they’re gonna get killed because some of the menu names are ‘Brotherly Love’ for requesting Malik and Kadar at the same time, ‘Trust Fund Babes’ for requesting Arno and Ezio together, and, Desmond’s favorite that he will never say out loud, ‘Repressed Catholic Special (10% off if you show your rosary)’ that is actually just Altaïr but he gets to order the customer around for the entire time.

Lots of customers want Evie to step on them (of all genders).

I feel like Jacob’s gonna have the most elaborate Magic Mike numbers for some reason.

Shao Jun has the most acrobatic set pieces and hers usually get a lot of applause because she’s a really great dancer.

Ezio’s family knows he’s a stripper and they just… let him do whatever he wants. The one time Claudia shows up in the club, Ezio actually messes his dance because “Jesus Fuck, that’s my sister!” and Claudia is like “Noooo, eeewwww, that’s my brother!”. She would sometimes show up when she knows Ezio won’t be dancing. To be sure, she always texts Ezio: “any chance I’ll see your ugly ass tonight?” and Ezio would always text back “Claudia! Stop texting me like this! People will get the wrong idea!” then text a few seconds later “No. Have fun. Make sure to tip well.”

Nikolai is the main bouncer. Cross is also a bouncer but he can get a bit too violent at times so he’s only allowed to work if Nikolai, his uncle, works with him.

Arbaaz is the father of Jayadeep who is also a stripper in the club. Arbaaz does not know about his son’s ‘part-time job’.

You know in some cabaret clubs, they actually have a wall of “top ‘employees’ of the month” and it’s ranking the top 10 for that month and I kinda think Reda would do the same because he knows many of his employees are competitive idiots.

The usual top one is Bayek, hands down. He goes to stage, people start throwing money.

… Is it too much if the ‘menu’ name for Alexios and Kassandra is ‘I Would Like One Bisexual Awakening’?

Eivor’s the only stripper that dances for both women only and men only days.

The Borgias are regulars. They tip well but they’re very handsy. They all favor Ezio.

… It would be funny if Abbas was in the corner, shades on, with a cap and being totally weird and out of place. Desmond sees him the first time and asks Clay if they should be worried about that dude in the corner. Clay goes “Naaahh, he’s harmless. I mean, he’s a weirdo that gets off getting ignored by Altaïr during his stage time but… harmless.”

You know what, all Templars are regulars and they favor the Assassin that killed them in canon (oh god, should… should we include Vidic thirsting over Desmond???)

Sidenote: I feel you. With the upcoming August megaposting this year, I’m scrambling just to prepare for the fics I wanna write for that month and there’s soooo many good ideas I have and ones I get from you guys XD Anyway, this is the best we can offer each other and to anyone who reads and enjoy this. :)
