The Night My Adult Son’s Voice Broke the Silence at 3 A.M. in London
Memoirs A reflection on intertwining fears of fatty liver disease and the silent weight of my adult child’s struggles during his final year in medical school. This story was difficult for me to write, but I believe it must be written and shared with everyone. Over two billion people worldwide now face the same reversible and preventable condition that once cast a shadow over my son’s…

Note
I love Silver having cursed tastes, because I also think that Shadow does as well, so poor Sonic always feels pressured to eat horrible shit because they are
As if Sonic doesn't have even more cursed tastes than those two combined, haha. He can eat mouldy food and the like in Unleashed, and even if he doesn't like it per se, it certainly ain't stopping him from yeeting it right down the hatch regardless! XD XD
I can thus only conclude Amy is is the one hedgehog with normal tastes here between the four of them but then again, she might also be the only one who knows how to cook according to Rules, Regulations, and Cookbooks, so that does check out. Whenever she has any of the boys over she will be forcing a normal proper meal down their throats so they at least eat something proper!

The Impact of Junk Food on Low-Income Communities
The consumption of junk food has several adverse effects on low-income communities. These effects span health, economic, and social dimensions, creating a complex web of challenges for individuals and families living in poverty.
1. Health Implications
Nutritional Deficiencies: Junk food is typically high in calories, sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats while being low in essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and fiber. This poor nutritional profile can lead to deficiencies in vital nutrients, contributing to health issues such as anemia, weakened immune systems, and poor growth and development in children.
Chronic Diseases: Regular consumption of junk food is linked to the development of chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Low-income individuals often have less access to healthcare and preventative services, exacerbating the long-term impact of these conditions.
Mental Health: There is growing evidence that diet impacts mental health. Diets high in junk food have been associated with increased risks of depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Poor mental health can further entrench individuals in poverty by affecting their ability to work and maintain stable employment.
2. Economic Consequences
Healthcare Costs: Chronic diseases associated with poor diet can lead to significant healthcare costs. For low-income individuals, these costs can be financially devastating, leading to a cycle of debt and further impoverishment.
Productivity Loss: Health issues related to junk food consumption can reduce an individual's productivity and ability to work, leading to lost wages and job opportunities. This loss of productivity affects not just individuals, but also the broader economy.
Food Insecurity: Paradoxically, while junk food is often cheaper and more accessible, it can contribute to food insecurity by creating a cycle of poor health and high medical costs. This cycle can make it harder for individuals to afford healthy, nutritious food, perpetuating dependence on cheap, unhealthy options.
3. Social and Environmental Factors
Access to Healthy Foods: Low-income neighborhoods often lack access to grocery stores that offer fresh, healthy foods at affordable prices. Instead, these areas are frequently saturated with fast-food restaurants and convenience stores that primarily sell junk food. This phenomenon, known as "food deserts," limits healthy food choices for residents.
Education and Awareness: There may be lower levels of education and awareness about nutrition and healthy eating in low-income communities. This lack of knowledge can make it harder for individuals to make informed food choices, further entrenching unhealthy eating habits.
Marketing and Advertising: Junk food companies often target low-income communities with aggressive marketing campaigns, exploiting their financial vulnerabilities and preferences. Children, in particular, are susceptible to these marketing tactics, which can establish lifelong unhealthy eating habits.
The negative impact of junk food on low-income communities is multifaceted, involving health, economic, and social dimensions. Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach that includes improving access to healthy foods, increasing education and awareness about nutrition, and implementing policies that reduce the marketing of junk food to vulnerable populations. By tackling these challenges, society can help improve the health and well-being of low-income individuals and communities.

HEALTH SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST! PRIORITISING HEALTH BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE TO LOOK GOOD + FEEL GOOD.
Tumblr media
People always leave out the basics when it comes to trying to improve their looks. Prioritising health is so important before going in and tempering with your body. Your base is what you work with and you can definitely level up with what you've got naturally.
DIET
Your diet also depends on what your goals are. Someone who wants to build muscle will obviously eat differently from someone who just eats relatively healthy. So identify what your goals are and work your meals around that.
Here are some videos to give you a better insight: HOW I LOSE FAT AND KEEP IT OFF MEANS, WORKOUTS + EVERYTHING ELSE PROTEIN EXPLAINED, STRENGTH, MUSCLES, FAT LOSS & ENDURANCE HOW METABOLISM WORKS
Diet not only makes you feel better from the inside, but it also reflects on your outside. Your skin is a huge display of how you eat.
Tumblr media
When you consume junk food, it can show up on your skin as breakouts or dullness. Your skin is one massive organ which soaks up everything put onto it and reflects everything you put inside your body. Fix the problem from the inside before getting confused about why your skincare routine isn't working.
FITNESS
Again, your fitness will differentiate from your goals. So work out your goals and make a plan around that. There are so many forms of fitness, some more intense than others and with different results. Working out in general is good for you, our bodies are meant to move. So even if you don't have a goal, staying active is always recommended.
HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT WORKOUT PLAN
THE BEST WAY TO GAIN MUSCLE, SCIENCE EXPLAINED SIMPLY
Low-intensity workouts:
Yoga: Focuses on flexibility, strength, and relaxation through various poses and breathing techniques.
Pilates: A low-impact exercise method that strengthens muscles, improves flexibility, and enhances posture.
Walking: Simple yet effective, walking is a great way to improve cardiovascular health and boost mood without high impact.
Swimming: Provides a full-body workout with minimal stress on joints, making it ideal for people with joint issues or injuries.
High-intensity workouts:
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): Alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and brief recovery periods to maximize calorie burn and improve cardiovascular fitness.
CrossFit: Combines elements of weightlifting, interval training, gymnastics, and other exercises to build strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
Sprinting: Short, explosive bursts of running at maximum effort, often performed in intervals for cardiovascular conditioning and leg muscle strength.
Circuit Training: Involves moving through a series of exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between, combining strength training and cardiovascular exercise.
These are just a few examples, but there are plenty of other workout styles out there to explore depending on your preferences and fitness goals. Walking every day is just a simple way to stay toned.
SLEEP
Sleeping is important for rest and recovery after workouts and energy-consuming activities. Sleep is needed for the brain to function, mood regulation and performance + productivity. Lack of sleep deprives you of all of these things, so getting your beauty sleep is absolutely needed.
School-age children (6-13 years): 9-11 hours per day.
Teenagers (14-17 years): 8-10 hours per day.
Young adults (18-25 years): 7-9 hours per day.
Adults (26-64 years): 7-9 hours per day.
HYGIENE
Upkeeping good hygiene is always needed anyway. Making sure you are clean (smelling good is a plus). Make sure you always wash your hands and take daily showers to remove any dirt on your body (clean those feet and your back well, don't forget them!). Taking care of your oral health must not be forgotten. Oil pulling and brushing your tongue for a healthy mouth. Make sure your hair is also getting the attention to keep it as healthy as you possibly can make it (this also depends on diet). Doing the extra things like spending time on your nails (making sure there isn't that stuff underneath them), making them pretty.
BODY CARE ROUTINE | FOR SMOOTH & GLOWING SKIN, TREATING KERATOSIS PILARIS, SHOWER ROUTINE
ENVIRONMENT
Having a stress-free environment is obviously the best to thrive in. But clearly not even being lucky enough to live like that constantly. So make sure you have that space to be on your own and have some alone time to really recharge. Keeping your space clean for a clear mind. Surround yourself with like-minded people and really set boundaries for those who prey on your mental clarity (energy vampires). Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to detach, rest time should not equal spending time on your devices. Let go and truly let yourself decompress. Mental health will improve how you carry yourself.
EMBODY YOUR POTENTIAL.

This isn't harmless. This isn't just you fooling around a bit. You being here, you touching yourself to these posts, will impact the rest of your life. Every new idea and fantasy you pick up here that appeals to you is immediately burned into your brain. And with every edge and orgasm, you only reinforce this bad behaviour, feeding your addiction.
Every single stuffing is bad for you. Every single pound you gain is bad for you. Yet, you don't stop. To make matters worse, you're even aroused by this. You're aroused by self-destruction in so many ways. You love the idea of being addicted to junk food, unable to stop eating. The idea of your breath getting heavier with every week of gluttony passing. It all turns you on so much that nothing else could compare.
You're broken, damaged in so many ways that you've made it a fetish. You're destined to ruin yourself even further, absolutely wreck your health and leave people around you disturbed and in shock as they witness what you're doing to yourself. But as long as you can stuff that greedy mouth of yours, you've got no reason to think or worry about anything. At least, you're wasting your life for my entertainment, giving you some purpose after all.
Now get yourself something to eat. You know you want it.

and lastly, i don’t know how i feel about this one (yes i’m insecure about everything i post, leave me alone) so please share your thoughts with me as always <3
Tumblr media
it had started only a few weeks ago. summer was around the corner, and inevitably, your social media was filled with girls in tiny crop tops or “summer body” posts.
normally, you wouldn’t pay too much attention to them; you liked your body the way it was.
but this year it was different. the stress of the past few weeks had a bigger impact on you that you ever expected.
the first time you noticed you were trying your summer clothes on. the skirt you loved being a little tighter than the last time you had used it.
it was only a few pounds, no one could really notice. but you could.
you shouldn’t have give it a second thought, but insecurities got the best of you and that very same moment you had decided that you needed to do something about it.
you would just stop snacking in between meals. you had it all under control, and in to time you would feel good about yourself again.
that’s what you told yourself.
but your rule of no snacking soon turned into skipping breakfast quite often and trying to make your meals as light as possible.
but you found yourself checking your body in the mirror more often than not whenever you were left alone.
“i’m back!” you heard your boyfriend announce, followed by the sound of the front door closing.
you felt your heart skip a beat at the thought of lando finding you like that, so you tried to put on your clothes as quickly as possible and wiped your tears from your cheeks before walking out of the bathroom.
you slowly paced to the kitchen where you knew he was, one of his hoodies over your body and your eyes inevitably red and puffy.
when you entered the kitchen, you didn’t even need to say anything for him to knew you where there, even with his back turned to you.
“got us dinner,” he said, taking the food out of a white plastic bag. “your favorite.”
you could feel his smile even when he still hadn’t turned to look at you yet, and it broke your heart a little that you weren’t in the mood for some junk food.
when your eyes met his, his face softened at the sight of you. he knew you were feeling down, but he also knew better than to ask. you would tell him, eventually.
“go choose a movie,” he uttered, voice tender. “i’ll be there in a second.”
you nodded and walked to the living room, sitting on the couch and trying to find a movie that could lift your mood up. just a little bit, at least.
it worked, for the last half of the movie; it eased off your worries for some time, and you found yourself lying on top of your boyfriend, worries about your recent insecurities now gone for a while.
you heard him sigh, his fingers brushing your hair softly as you rested your head on his chest with your eyes closed.
“tell me what’s up,” he whispered. “you’ve barely touched your food.”
“i’m not hungry,” you answered, making him roll his eyes.
“don’t lie to me.”
despite his insistence, he wasn’t mad; his tone was still gentle, and one of his hands slipped under your shirt to softly caress the skin of your waist. the touch that normally would have made you feel instantly better, this time making you tense a little. and he noticed, so he squeezed your side, urging you to speak.
“i just haven’t been feeling good lately,” you mumbled after a few seconds, your voice muffled as you were hiding your face in the crook of your boyfriend’s neck.
“hm?” he only hummed in response, kissing the top of your head and waiting for you to explain further, not really wanting to push you.
“i’ve put on a few pounds these past weeks,” your words were barely audible, voicing your insecurities was never an easy task.
lando heard you, though.
“that’s not a bad thing.”
“but it is,” you cut him off before he could add something else. his hand slowly rubbed your back as he took a deep breath. “you’re only saying that because you’re my boyfriend.”
he chuckled, “don’t be silly.”
lando squeezed you in his arms and planted another soothing kiss to your temple, trying to find the correct words to say.
“i’m not saying that just because i’m your boyfriend,” he said, his voice almost a whisper. he held your chin and made you look at him. “you’re gorgeous, baby. everyone can see that.”
your lips formed a little pout as you heard your boyfriend’s words, which he was quick to kiss away.
“and nothing will change that, ever,” his eyes met your teary ones, the corners of his lips perking up at your vulnerable state.
“but i…”
“nuh huh,” he cut you off immediately with a slight shake of his head. “no ‘buts’, love. you look perfect to me.”
he softly tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear as he spoke, his eyes soft and his touch gentle when he then cupped your cheek.
“i wish you could see yourself with my eyes,” his whisper made you sigh as he nuzzled his nose softly against yours, comforting and sweet. “you’re the most beautiful girl i’ve ever seen, baby.”
“do you really mean it?” your eyes fluttered closed as you spoke, eyelashes resting on your cheeks.
“of course i do,” you could hear the small smile on his lips as he reassured you once again, the fingers that slowly creeped up the side of your body tickling your skin.
a sigh escaped your lips, your arms circling around your boyfriend’s neck as you pressed your lips against his in silent gratitude.
how lucky of a girl you were, you thought, for him to be just yours.

40 sentences that will teach you more about nutrition than a $400,000 medical degree
From Brett Boettcher @brettboettcher1
40 sentences that will teach you more about nutrition than a $400,000 medical degree.
1) Meat, eggs and animal organs are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.
2) Bone broth is loaded in collagen and helps repair the gut so you can heal from the inside out.
3) Saturated fat doesn’t cause heart disease, insulin resistance does.
4) Your ratio of triglycerides to HDL is a great indicator of mortality risk; the lower the better. ·
5) Protein is the most metabolically active macronutrient and it isn’t bad for your kidneys.
6) There isn’t quality evidence to show that dietary cholesterol impacts the cholesterol in your blood. ·
7) There is even less evidence to support that total cholesterol is bad for your health since it is inversely correlated to mortality risk. · 4h 8) Walking before and after meals is a great way to improve digestion and reduce blood sugar spikes.
9) Fiber is the last thing you need if you have IBS or diverticulitis.
10) Dairy is great for your health and its saturated fat intake is inversely correlated to heart disease.
11) Most nutritional recommendations were introduced based on profit margins, not health outcomes.
12) Calories in and calories out is all that matter, but some calories make you hungrier (sugar/grains). Other calories (protein) help you burn more calories.
13) Multi grain just means they took 2+ different terrible sources of grain and put them together into one product.
14) Cereal and bread for breakfast will spike your blood sugar and have you starving before lunch. Try Greek yogurt or eggs instead. ·
15) “Intuitive eating” and “listen to your body” makes no sense considering 88% of people are metabolically unhealthy and addicted to food. No one would say “intuitive crack use.”
16) Eating is a stress on your body; The less often you can eat, the healthier you’ll be.
17) Plan your meals around the protein source (with its natural fat) and add a small side of carbs if needed.
18) Eating for satiety is more important than relying constantly on willpower. Find filling foods and avoid foods with addictive properties (ultra-processed).
19) You don’t have to know how to cook. Grill a meat, sauté a green vegetable, bake a potato. Mix and match a million ways.
20) Eating many of the same foods every week isn’t perfectly optimal but it’s likely your best path to consistency and therefore success. ·
21) Becoming more insulin sensitive should be the focus of any health-related nutrition plan.
22) Salad dressings are one of the worst things you can eat for your health. High in calories and inflammatory industrial oils.
23) Eating 5x per day won’t boost your metabolism. If you are trying to gain weight, it’s an excellent strategy.
24) Bacon can be healthy, just avoid the processing with nitrates.
25) Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are two of the best sources of protein per calorie.
26) Carbs are beneficial around a workout. But many sources of carbs are processed and easily overeaten. Focus on single ingredient foods.
27) You can’t be healthy at any size no matter what your mother or liberal arts professor said.
28) Eat a high protein meal before attending social events that are filled with junk food.
29) If eating out, order the food with the highest protein content.
30) The #1 reason people fail is that they don’t prepare. Meal prep, meal plan, have ready to eat protein sources. · 31) The food you eat directly impacts your mental health and processed foods are correlated with depression and mental illness.
32) Processed foods have been engineered to be as addicting as possible. Your taste buds can be retrained with natural sources.
33) “Plant-based” foods are made in laboratories and are an easy way to sell overpriced junk to consumers at high margin.
34) Eating 1 gram of protein per lb of ideal body weight daily will do more for your body composition than spending 30 minutes on the treadmill.
35) When in doubt, if it comes from the center aisles of the grocery store or has more than 3 ingredients, it’s not good for you.
36) Many foods labeled as “keto” “paleo” or “high protein” are far from meeting the intended definition.
37) Your gut is responsible for 70% of your immune system; feeding it sugar and other inflammatory foods is making you sick now and later.
38) Genetics play a role but over 90% of the country has a resting metabolism within 500 calories daily. Being fit is possible for everyone.
39) Flipping the food pyramid upside down is closer to healthy eating than the traditional suggestions.
40) Eliminating drinking your calories is the first change to make when trying to improve your health.

So uh question as a follow up to your recent health posts. I have chronic health issues but was working to improve my health despite them. As of the beginning of this year I was vegan with a mostly whole foods diet, I exercised regularly, I never smoked, didn’t drink and severely limited my caffeine intake. Now I’m just hitting my second trimester of pregnancy and things have gone downhill. I have severe morning sickness (which lasts all day - it really needs a different name), haven’t been able to exercise since the nausea started and barely leave the house now out of fear of throwing up in front of people. I’m loosing weight and junk food is a new cornerstone of my diet as it’s often the only thing I can keep down. I’m really worried about how this is going to impact my health long term. I know this isn’t really your area but any tips on how to manage good health during a difficult pregnancy?
You have to eat. It's OK if the macronutrients you're getting right now (fat, carbs, protein) aren't rich in micronutrients. That's what supplementation is for. That's why your body builds up stores. Hyperemesis gravidarum (persistent vomiting in pregnancy) is one of the worst-studied phenomena in OB, an already under-researched field, and you do whatever you need to do to survive, even if that's Jell-O cups and rice pudding for three months. Don't worry about future you; future you won't be pregnant and won't have the "this is poison, barf it up" button pressed at all times for everything.

The Problem with Leviathan
So I finally figured out the problem with season seven's Leviathan story. I always disliked the Leviathan as villains and could never quite put my finger on why. Part of it was the wasted potential--the end of season six promised Lovecraftian horrors (which I always thought was the perfect escalation in a literal post-Biblical Apocalypse) and then... didn't. But unfulfilled promises aside, I never understood why what we did end up with (Soylent Green by way of They Live) bothered me so much. But watching the opening of 07x22 (There Will Be Blood) it finally hit me.
See, in the scene, Dick Roman is doing an interview with a reporter discussing his company's move into corn syrup additives for food. As a viewer, we know this is Bad because we are aware of the Leviathans' plan to turn the entire of the human race into delicious dumb cattle for their consumption. But then it clicked that this has exactly zero impact on the main characters of the show. Let me explain:
The entire narrative of Supernatural up until this point is centered squarely on Sam and Dean. Even the end of the world was actually all about Sam and Dean's relationship. This is a fact, even if you don't bring in Chuck's zany meta-ness in the final season. Sam and Dean are the story. What the Leviathan's are up to, though? Nothing to do with Sam and Dean. It doesn't even have anything to do with their world. The boys live off the grid. They don't care about corporate scheming or government conspiracies. If it weren't specifically for the fact that they eat junk food, nothing the Leviathan's did would have affected them at all at this point. Hell, if the Big Mouths hadn't coincidentally attacked Jody at the beginning of the season, I'm not sure they ever would have found out anything about the Leviathan besides the fact they exist (since they witnessed Cas mpregging them before his "death"). In fact, in the latter half of the season, their investment almost solely hangs on the fact they're pissed Roman killed Bobby. Hell, if Roman hadn't dug up the Leviathan tablet (for reasons that are never explained to us, by the way) the Winchesters would have no way of stopping their plans. Almost everything that happens in this season is because of sheer coincidence.
It's not just that the Leviathan are lame and aren't scary (even though they are in fact lame and not scary), it's the fact that as a monster they don't work in the kind of world that Supernatural had built up in the previous six years. Oh no! And evil species of monsters have infiltrated all strata of society to turn us into hamburgers! How will our heroes deal with this? Uh, they bumble into the answer and solve it by stabbing things, like they always do. The horror in the show, even when it has broad-reaching implications, has always been very personal. Werewolves aren't scary because they eat people, it's because they can be normal people who otherwise live and love just like us. Demons aren't scary because they do shitty things, it's because they show the capacity of all people to become their worst selves. The Leviathan don't reflect the human condition in any way, and their commentary on corporate America doesn't work in a story where the protagonists don't work in regular society. The Leviathan are a warning of the dangers of blindly trusting corporations with our health and safety. But the Winchesters never did that. They're outcasts. They run credit card scams and sleep in abandoned warehouses and no-name hotels. They aren't the intended target, so they don't make good narrative foils.
But Dean eats cheeseburgers, so I guess we gotta stop these bastards before they take over the world!!

They have a great feature which allows you to scan a barcode of any product to see if it is on the list. It provides proof as to why an item is on the boycott list. Users can upload products to the app to further improve the boycott list.
Why boycott?
Money speaks in this world. By not giving companies money, us the consumers, take back control. When you spend money on an item on the boycott list it is directly putting money in the pockets of people who will spend it on killing innocent people. By not spending money on these things we cut off a supply of money to this people. Furthermore it gives the people a voice. Money talks and often the only way we get companies to listen is to stop giving companies money.
What if there is something I can't boycott?
In this day and age it is often hard to avoid everything on boycott lists. Some things cannot be boycott. If you cannot boycott an essential, that is okay, just boycott every where you can.
What are examples of essentials?
Internet, baby formula, medications, hospitals, banking. Things that you cannot live without and cannot find an alternative to are exempt from boycotts.
What are examples of non-essentials that are not exempt?
Soft drinks/soda pop, juice, name brand items, movie theaters, chains (domino's, walmart, target, pizza hut), leasure items
How do I personally benefit from boycotting?
You get your voice heard. You get to be a part of a great cause without having to spend any money. You get to try new things (in my country Cuba Cola has gained new popularity as Coca-Cola is boycott). You get to save money. By not spending money on non-essentials you save a lot of money you may not even realise you spent. It gives you more of an opportunity to shop local and learn what you have around you. You can learn a new skill. Instead of going to starbucks you can learn that creating signature drinks is fairly simple and a lot cheaper. You may even get health benefits. By not buying items such as junk food or by making a homemade version of something you will most likely have a positive impact on you health!
You also will not feel shame from supporting a genocide
No Thanks! Also has a store that sells Keffiyehs and more!
If you need help finding alternatives to products on the boycott list send me a message.

i’m/we’re violet💜 and gj💙.
i’m ur average alt/edgy guy/gal who aspires to be an artist, animator, model and pro aggressive roller blader. i post things related to alt subcultures, pics of myself in fits and other silly stuff i like.
i personally view alt as more than just subcultures and as actual faiths/ways of living for myself. it’s not all just aesthetic for me. the way we express ourselves with spiked bracelets and edgy haircuts or how we live by the lyrics of our fav music is what makes alt culture for me. nothing brightens my day more when i see alt peeps just being themselves.
i’m genderfluid⚥ and bi. i luv dressing androgynously and expressing both the beauty of femininity and masculinity. both of the names gj and violet r representative of both my masc and fem sides. and i’d like to think that gj and violet r separate souls with their own identities that i switch between, but can also embody both of them at the same time.
i hav a few mental afflictions but the main one that affects me the most is BPD which has a huge impact on my life and me as a person. i like seeing other posts on tumblr related to mental health so i’d like to treat this blog as a place where people can feel safe when it comes to talking about stuff like dat. we all could use a hand here and there 🫂.

Accurately speaking... (Nerd alert)
Asmo would probably be the best, maybe barb too.
Bad diets = bad taste
So beel wouldn't have the best taste, all things considered... (He eats junk food 99% of the time and burns calories by working out)
Same thing with Levi.
Asmo would likely have a good diet to stay in shape and would likely already know his diet affects his taste.
Barb... We don't see him really eat... I'd imagine it could go either way.. he makes dessert a lot so when no one is available he tries them, at the same time, he could be eating off screen. Plus could tea be considered healthy?
Simeon likely has a good diet, being an angel and all. So his taste would also be good.
Long ass rant about pussy tastes😭
Bows for barb
NSFW MDNI
Okay first of all of course tea is considered healthy! It’s mostly water to begin with but a lot of teas have healing properties depending on whether or not they’re herbal. And green tea has all kinds of health benefits.
I realize that was but a tiny part of this ask but I still felt the need to start with that lol.
Anyway. I suppose it depends on what we’re talking about here. The fluid that comes from squirting is not the same as the regular pussy fluid that happens when aroused. I think there’s a lot of speculation about what exactly it is, but I don’t think anyone really knows. Just that it isn’t cum and it isn’t pee lol.
That being said, while I do believe that one’s diet can impact the flavor, I also think that influence is somewhat minimal. Unless you’re eating a lot of foods notorious for being really obvious such as asparagus and pineapple.
I think that the natural balance of a person’s body will have a more significant influence than what they eat.
Then again we are talking about fictional characters so they can really taste however you like to imagine them.
I personally like to think about it more abstractly due to this being a fantasy situation, tying my ideas of their taste more to their personality than their dietary habits.
However, if you prefer to think about it in this way, there is certainly enough evidence of their diets to allow that to inform your opinion on it.
Personally I have to say that I never thought I would be having a detailed discussion about this topic with strangers on the internet, but here we are.

My response under a read more since it got long
First link:
This study is not necessarily advocating for vegan or vegetarian diets, and it mentions that in the introduction. It mentions instead its evaluation of overconsumption of animal products and underconsumption of various plant sources.
The study also mentions that vegans and vegetarians tend to consume more fruits, vegetables, and legumes and in more variety, as well as fewer refined cereals, added fats and sweets, and non-water beverages. This is known as the healthy user bias. The study even mentions that "the differences in terms of health outcomes ... cannot be directly linked only to the different consumption of protein sources." Even their own analysis of various studies find that most results aren't statistically significant, and those that do have significant statistical correlation include flexitarians, pescetarians, and lacto-ovo vegetarians and exclude vegans.
Tumblr media
Second link
This article references two different studies, "Environmental Impact of Two Plant-Based, Isocaloric and Isoproteic Diets: The Vegan Diet vs. the Mediterranean Diet" and "A Mediterranean Diet and Low-Fat Vegan Diet to Improve Body Weight and Cardiometabolic Risk Factors: A Randomized, Cross-over Trial."
For the first, this goes into one of my main complaints about dietary sustainability analysis in that the calculations are all hypothetical. It does not study if an individual's personal food choices make an impact on foods being produced. I am not arguing that livestock do not have a significant environmental impact or that agriculture does not damage the Earth. They clearly do. But I'm not a libertarian that thinks the free market will solve the ingrained issues with how food is produced.
My other issue with studies like this is that it groups all livestock together and all crops together. Cattle, chickens, fish, shellfish, goats, etc. all have a very different environmental impact. Almonds, wheat, apples, avocados, beans, rice etc. also all have very different environmental impacts. Painting agriculture with broad brushes like this is, in my opinion, not very helpful. I'm also not interested in pointing out the harmful impact of one side of agriculture while completely supporting the other side and acting like we can ignore that. I am more interested in food raised using sustainable techniques vs. industrially grown food rather than pitting animals and plants against each other as a whole. I am anti-capitalist and I do not make my food and animal activism to still be playing into capitalism. I also dislike pretending that crops and livestock are mutually exclusive industries that do not fundamentally play into each other.
As for the second study, I find this one far more interesting but I do have a few things to point out. The study does not mention what the lifestyles of the participants were before the study began, only that they were overweight. It seems to be operating under the assumption that thinner automatically means healthier, which isn't necessarily the case. But are participants normally eating tons of junk food with little fresh fruits and vegetables and then switching to more balanced diets prepared at home? Considering participants are also specifically asked to avoid sweetened drinks, processed meats and snacks, and cream and to limit cured ham and fatty cheeses, there are almost definitely other factors at play than simply meat vs plants. Second, participants attended classes taught by dieticians and physicians. Of course people would be healthier following instructions by people formally educated in health. Third, it is noted that several participants out of 52 change medications during the study, which can impact results.

See my points from link 2.
Fourth link
I like the recommendations made for vegan companies here. They suggest making some foods at home and avoiding companies that use palm oil or soy from South America as well as brands like Nestle that are famously known for damaging environments all over the world and harming people especially in poor countries. I will add though that this is harder than it looks due to brands having parents companies and Nestle owns lots and lots of companies. Which also plays into my point that personal choice is so insignificant when up against monsters like Nestle that own so much power.
In short, studies like these can provide some helpful data but they do also miss many important pieces because sustainability and nutrition are such complex topics that do not come with easy answers. I also take all studies with a grain of salt because they are all going to still work under the assumption of a capitalist world. My perspective is anti-capitalist and about an uprooting of our relationship to food and agriculture. Under a capitalist system the best we can do is harm reduction and based on trends of the food market I do not see that vegan diets make a material difference. Rather I promote choices that uplift community food, pressure changes to industry norms including legislative pressure, and socialist activism that benefits people and in turn the animals we live next to. Overproduction and overconsumption are real issues.
I'd like to offer my own studies and references but looking through these has used up all my spoons. My recommendations on books though are Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and Cows Save The Planet by Judith D. Schwartz.

No joke, I think dungeon meshi has seriously impacted my desire to be healthy for the better. A very long and heartfelt (but spoiler free) essay is under the cut.
I have Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. Because of my OCD, some foods are safe and some are not and I would literally rather starve than eat an unsafe food (i know because it happened once on a trip to Switzerland). This means I mostly eat chicken nuggets, buttered noodles, donuts, soda, the like. The only vegetable I can eat is cooked broccoli and the only fruit I can eat is apples (smoothies not withstanding).
I'm also physically disabled in a way that makes it hard for me to exercise or do physical activity, not to mention how my ADHD and Depression fuck with that as well. I'm 'lucky'* in that I have a genetic disposition towards being very thin and probably will stay that way until I'm in my 40s (my dad was exactly the same at my age).
So I eat mostly junk food and I sit at my computer all day every day and for a long time, I've been happy with that. When I tell people about my Eating Disorder, they usually say "oh, is there a way to fix it?" and my answer is always "why would I want to?" Its not like an allergy or a medical dietary restriction. I don't LIKE any of the foods I can't eat. I don't have any reason to want to learn how to eat them.
Besides health reasons of course. I know in my head that not eating any vegetables isn't good for me but I also know that I don't really want to eat them and, for most of my adulthood, I've lived with the mindset that I think a lot of people my age have where they hear so many people say 'just eat well and exercise!' as a solution to every problem and so they tend to hate the idea of doing that. The health industry is full of too many people who are fatphobic assholes or who think a green smoothie can cure your depression for good or who just want your money or whatever and I hate that. And so I've kind of felt above exercise and nutrition.
But then I read Dungeon Meshi.
Even in the beginning, the manga was super inspiring. The way Senshi talks about taking care of your body so you can go on adventures makes it sound like something I might want to do. So much of today's health advice is shame based and, as someone who grew up in and left a high demand control group, I work hard not to tolerate shame in my life. But Dungeon Meshi posits a new view of health and nutrition, one that is centered in love for the self, love for your friends, and love for your food. It resonated with me in a way that I really wasn't expecting it to.
Over the last few years, I've been working really hard to become a compassionate person. This year, my new goal is learning to turn that compassion inward and I've been trying to do that in several different ways. When I finished reading Dungeon Meshi I knew that one of those ways was going to have to be improving my diet and exercise.
I want to be able to go on adventures (as tame and simple as they may be). I want to live as long as possible to spend time with my loved ones. I want to be able to walk around and exist without pain for as much of that time as I can. I want to love my body and act accordingly, making sure it is well fed and cared for. Hell, I've always loved the idea of cooking but haven't had the energy to really learn, especially since I can't eat most foods, but now the idea of taking the time to cultivate a skill like that, one that I can be proud of and that can be used to care for my friends, fills me with a sense of hope and excitement.
So thank you Dungeon Meshi, and thank you Ryoko Kui. If you haven't read the manga, I highly recommend that you do.
*by lucky I mean that my diet hasn't forced me to deal with the stigma that comes with being fat. I have no idea what kinds of problems it's been causing that I just can't see. I am not saying that it would be bad if I were fat, just that not being thin would mean I faced a lot more stigma and discrimination in my life, which is bad.
