It is endlessly exhausting getting online and having allistic people be like "No,sorry I know they're your favorite canon autistic character but they're boring to me so I've decided they're made of harmful stereotypes and you're basic." I'm just going to rant, and just can never make an eloquently written post, but man do I fucking hate people. I hate the absolute entitlement of some astarion players/stans. I hate how we can't complain about the blatant favoritism astarion gets compared to everyone else. I want to be excited for patches, for new content, but I can't.

Because Minthara literally doesn't work? Because Karlach barely has a story? Because Wyll's entire story was reworked and wasn't ready for RELEASE (if his story even had more content still being worked on let's be real)?

Obviously, bugs and crashes need to be resolved. But I don't think we need any QoL updates like kisses or hugs until everyone is fleshed out entirely or just fucking works.

This isn't a diss against all Astarion fans, many of you are wonderful and also are aware of this whole thing. I'm just sick of being told to essentially just shut up.

The most annoying part about jbls fans is that they can't accept that each series is different. The pacing, the storyline, the characters and their interactions. Like god forbid a series is slow or doesn't always maintain the same structure throughout. I get there are series that go to absolute shit (living with him etc.) but in most cases fans just wanna complain.

Look, japanese bl series will always maintain a specific structure with some exceptions, and the fact that you're waiting for a weekly episode does not help, because you set up expectations and then they go to the trashcan but in retrospect it's because the episode is only 24 minutes long.

Yes this is about I Hear the Sunspot. While I understand the way some events were disappointing, the changes in the series is very human because it reflects directly on the changes in the characters. You grow, you put boundaries, you build connections, you fight your battles. It's fucking normal. Anyways I'm so sick of hearing people complain about anything and everything.
