did u know monday is actually a better “resting day” than sunday?
☽ monday -> a moon day astrologically
the moon is associated with comfortability, relaxation, and some astrologer say it’s associated with sleep. these days are better to relax on
⨀ sunday -> a sun day astrologically
the sun is associated with being active, partying, and being sociable in general. these days are good days to have fun
♄ saturday -> a saturn day astrologically
saturn is associated with working. you will accomplish more when working on these days

[Dulce got trapped in the busy crowd. The force of the human wave was too strong for her to fight against.]
DULCE: Oh shit!
ANTONIO: Du-! Damn it.
[Antonio panicked. They were being separated. And he almost said her name.]
[He held out his arm. How did she get so far in the blink of an eye? It didn’t matter. He had to get to her. She could get hurt. He couldn’t be the cause of her distress. Not again.]
[Suddenly he saw her heading towards the ground.]
[...and her leg in the sky? Wait a minute.]
DULCE: Ha!
(The face of ultra concentration mid-cartwheel.)
PARTYGOER #1: Oh, what the hell?
PARTYGOER #2: Oh my.
DULCE: Tada!
ANTONIO: ...
[Antonio sighed. Of course this woman saved herself via cartwheel.]
ANTONIO: Excuse me, pardon me.
[Matthew gasped at the screen.]
GUILLERMO: She’s still got it!

Milestone Monday
Rockin’ Americana Well
On this day, February 3 in 1894, Norman Rockwell was born in New York City. He became one of America's most beloved illustrators and painters, celebrated for his portrayals of everyday life and the American experience. Rockwell's approach is often described as an exaggerated form of realism, showcasing lifelike individuals and scenarios while incorporating elements of caricature. His artwork frequently appeared on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post, showcasing a variety of themes, from family life and community to patriotic ideals.
Rockwell received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded by President Gerald Ford in 1977. In addition to his commercial success, his later works reflected a more socially conscious approach, addressing issues like civil rights and social justice. On November 8, 1978, Rockwell passed away, leaving behind a rich legacy in American art.
The images presented come from the book Norman Rockwell: Artist and Illustrator by Thomas S. Buechner (1926-2010), an artist who transitioned to a career in museums. It was published in 1970 by Harry N. Abrams in New York. The book design is by Nai Y. Chang. The work includes over six hundred illustrations and paintings by Rockwell, capturing nearly sixty years of American social history in a compelling visual narrative.

Scud Frohmeyer loves having his hair played with.
If you want him to unwind and relax quickly, playing with his hair and scratching his scalp would be the quickest way to do that. Give him head scratches, and he would love you forever.
Those moments, where he’s cuddled up to your chest, with one of your arms around him and your other hand disappearing into his long hair, your nails gently scraping against the skin of his head, are some of his absolute favourite moments. He’ll be laying nearly on top of you, your fingers gently threading through his hair, and he’s more content than he’s ever been. He may or may not purr like a cat in those sweet moments.
When he’s kissing you, the quickest way to get him to melt in your embrace is to let your hands disappear in his hair. Do that, and he’s absolute putty in your hands, willing to do anything you ask of him.
When the two of you shower together, he absolutely adores when you wash his hair. He’d be leaning his forehead against your shoulder, his eyes closed as he basks in the tenderness of the moment, the bliss that comes with the gesture. Hell, he might even ask you to wash and condition his hair twice, just to keep that feeling going a little longer.
Scud Frohmeyer loves having his hair played with.
