After Day 1 of Alegría v Caruso, a video call with secret agents, a costume-test montage, and Operation Fox, Dulce is exhausted! She took a long shower while the events of the past two days marinated in her brain. Although there was something she couldn't shake off.

Antonio doesn’t have “the time or energy for love right now,” huh?

Well, what a terrible time for Dulce to realize she’s developing romantic feelings towards him.

But you know what? It’s okay. She thinks she should stay single for a while anyway. Her previous relationships ended terribly. It seems like she either gets too attached or not attached enough.

And maybe these feelings for Antonio aren’t real.

Dating Caruso has taught Dulce that she enjoys the thrill of the chase. They were rivals during the first semester of culinary school. The tension made him attractive. Then, when they became a couple, the focus shifted to her odd desire of becoming a "celebrity power couple" with someone. That was the goal.

What if she only likes Antonio because lawyers can’t be with their clients? If she had to be honest, the idea of sneaking around sounds enticing.... don't judge! However, what if she realizes she doesn't like him once the trial is over?

Dating Alex has made her wonder if she likes… gloomy people with black hair? Yeah, they’re basically the same person if you think about it. Reserved, edgy people. That’s kiiiiind of weird if she’s looking for Alex in Antonio.

Sounds like a lot of issues. Whatever is happening right now, Dulce wants to put a stop to it. She can’t date anyone in this current mental state of hers. Plus, she just broke up with Caruso, like, two months ago? I don't know, who keeps track of that stuff?

She plans to take some time for herself, rebuild her business, and go to therapy. Those are the things she has to prioritize.

Still, she knows for sure she likes Antonio in a platonic way, at least. He's not as much of a square as she initially thought. He’s sweet.. smart.. and pretty funny if you get to know him. She genuinely wants the best for him and hopes he continues to prosper.

Dulce hopes they can cross paths every now and then once the trial is over. She'll continue to do her own thing and be there for him if he ever needs it.

The Joy of Life Challenge | Sims 3 Version.

I hope everyone is well 🤍 In August I started the joy of life challenge by @simelune it was the first challenge in ts4 where I actually enjoyed the storylines, and actually progressed with it. A few weeks ago I finally fixed the sims 3 and have been playing it none stop, but was looking for a fun challenge to play - then decided to rewrite and adjust JOL for the sims 3!

*A huge huge thank you to simelune for writing this amazing challenge, and allowing me to rewrite and post the sims 3 version. All credits of course go to them - they wrote the entire challenge I just simply adjusted and reworked it slightly to fit the sims 3.*

There are currently 17 generations written by me, but I'm still working on adding the rest from the original challenge, I'm just having so much fun playing with the first gen of it!

I haven't had my pc (only my laptop) since September, and likely won't until February, so I finally bit the bullet and downloaded Sims and some mods and cc (cries in that took forever). Unfortunately, I don't have my SBL save so that is still on hiatus, but I wanted to do something and start posting again.

[After Antonio’s conversation with Frankie, he decided he should not be make the final decisions for the remainder of the trial. He didn’t trust himself, so a new head was appointed by him: Antoinette Wolff.]

[The emergency meeting was about to begin. Antoinette was prepared despite being asked to take over less than 24 hours ago. She was always dependable and diligent.]

[Antonio knew he could confide in her. Still, to protect her from perjury, he didn’t go into full detail on how they retrieved the notebook.]

[Everyone was still settling down when something outside caught Antonio’s eye.]

[It looked like Dulce arrived.]

DULCE: Auntie Hilary, what do you mean you don’t want me to pay you back?

HILARY: It’s fine. I know you’ve been feeling guilty about what happened, but I couldn’t be prouder.

DULCE: What...?

HILARY: At least you didn’t end up marrying the guy. I’m still in my loveless marriage, but guess what? I think I’m feeling inspired to divorce Hector now.

TEODOR: Oye, where’s the Antonio fellow at? I feel like everyone has met him except for me! The family loves him.

DULCE: Oh, he’s at a meeting right now, Tío.

ANTOINETTE: ..I strongly believe that if we pursue this argument regarding Ms. Alegría’s case, we have this in the bag.

ANTOINETTE: I’ve emailed you all my research and findings surrounding this case. I suggest you read and re-read it ‘til you can memorize it like the back of your hand.

ANTOINETTE: Ms. Alegría is counting on us, and more importantly, Romero really needs our support right now.

ANTONIO: Thank you, Antoinette. You’re an exemplary leader with excellent strategies.

[Antonio turned his attention to the rest of the team.]

ANTONIO: Ms. Alegría’s Diced Junior competitors-turned-friends were to take the stand. However, now we have the notebook and will follow through with Antoinette’s new plan today and tomorrow. I will still be the one representing the client in court, too.

RUBIYA: I might not be taking the stand anymore, but I’m not about to miss out on this!

LEWIS: Is it really okay for Dulce to wear that outfit in court?

YOLTIC: Yes! Actually, the typical rules don’t apply to celebrities, even up-and-coming ones. If anything, dressing more traditionally counts against them.

ALEX: Del Sol Valley is weird.

RUBIYA: Yeah, there’s plenty of room at my place for you and Dulce! I’ll show you two all around Japan. Any places in particular you want to see?

DANI: I’d be happy with anything! Any places you want to see here in Del Sol Valley?

RUBIYA: Oooo any places with good tacos, really.
