Not a vent, just want some help ^^;
we legit just had someone DM us asking why we "chose to be a system"... I don't even know how to respond to this, it doesn't seem like they are trying to be malicious, mean, or rude?? They sent it as an anon and used an anon tag we haven't seen before, and it was just that question. has anyone had this happen before, and how do you handle it?
🌿🍀 Vineyard system
i don't believe we've received an ask like that before but we'd recommend just deleting it or blocking the anon. It may not seem mean but it's very endogenic kind of question, suggesting you chose to be a system. It could potentially invite endos over to your blog if they see that one of your asks / anons is asking those kinds of things. Though if you feel like you're comfortable and able to handle any potential endos then you could try educate them / answer the question by saying that you cannot chose to be a system , it really depends

the fact it’s taken me nearly a year to figure out that Ghost became my comfort band bc their music isn’t so saturated with “sad love & break up songs” like the stuff i listened to before then is kinda sad but also it’s just given me a massive “ohhhhh” moment so that’s fun, +++ i wouldn’t change it for the world tbh i fckn love them and this fandom too much now

HC that long before Utsuro was taken in by the bakafu to be leader of the naraku, back when he was just a shunned and scared man he lived deep within the forests and mountains away from humanity. One day he finds an injured crow and gives it a drop of his blood to survive. This bird survives and stays by the immortals side, never straying too far. The immortal and crow spend time together. The crow would alert the immortal when to hide from humans, or lead him somewhere safe. The crow would bring berries to the man and the man would share warmth in the night by holding the crow in his arms. But as time passes the crow goes weaker and weaker and the companionship the immortal has is fated to end. When the crow dies in the man’s arms he sheds tears of sorrow for his only companion has gone where he cannot follow. The immortal buries the crow and wanders around lost without his companion and is later on captured by humans again. This persona is eventually replaced with another then another and another so on forth for years. Until one day a persona of the immortal is pulled by an invisible force to guide him through a burning village, the villagers killed by his men. The immortal man is drawn to an injured dying child by a feeling he cannot place. Without thinking the immortal gives the child his blood and nurses it back to health. The child doesn’t leave when healed but stays by the immortal’s side and once again the immortal and the crow are reunited. This time the crow who is now a child guides the man towards a new direction to follow, the child leads Utsuro out of his void into humanity, into Yoshida Shoyou,

i feel like poolverine easily could’ve been one of those “they’re flirty but it’s mostly unserious” situations, and for most of the movie yeah they were extremely gay, but wade’s been like that with other guys and it was never treated as a serious type of relationship before. they’re willing to die for each other, but even then the romantic aspect of their relationship could be glossed over because it’s a superhero movie, that’s just what they do, and they’re working together to save a whole timeline—it’s not just about them. but then the movie doesn’t end with them saving the day and moving on. i think this’s really the part that sells poolverine as a genuine relationship to me… logan’s leaving, and wade calls for him. he can’t stand to let him go. then he introduces him to his family, and logan stays. he doesn’t really need to stay, but they’ve both decided they’re better off with one another than without

sometimes i am stunned when i remember that not only are katniss and peeta the youngest people going into the quarter quell but also that they are still literally KIDS. they are children facing 22 adults with not only years of friendship between them but years of mentorship to learn the best strategies of the games.
katniss is a 17yo girl who was malnourished most of her life that only had months to try to prepare to catch up to her competitors. peeta is a 17yo boy who is likely still going through puberty! facing fully grown adults.
sure some of the victors are in their early 20s like finnick or johanna, but the maturity difference between early 20s and 17 is huge.
they are kids forced to play in an adults’ game.

I feel like there's an interesting aspect when it comes to vox and huskerdust in that there's a non-zero chance that vox also has a sort of indirect relationship with husk along with the already existing indirect relationship he has with angel, like yes there's the former overlord stuff but they may also know each other a bit more personally due to vox's past association with alastor, like how mimzy knows husk and niffty, so huskerdust to him is like… the weirdest crossover of all time to him, val's whore getting together with alastor's pet lmao
honestly bonus points if he also calls husk "husker" like alastor and mimzy

Something I think is cute is that - y’know how Raph’s eyes are more on the yellow side?
Well, you know who also has slightly yellowed eyes? Donnie.
While Raph’s are more yellow, I think it’s cute that this is something that they share and I don’t see it pointed out too often?
It’s also something they both share with Draxum and Splinter’s current form (though again, these two have much more yellow sclera than the boys do.)
But yeah, I like that there’s this little detail that ties Raph and Donnie together, even if it’s small.

yeah Feyd Rautha and femme!Paul having the most fucked up unhealthy straight relationship to ever exist is fun, but ya know what could be equally as fun in a completely different way? Feyd and Paul having a relationship so similar to the best parts of Jessica and Leto's relationship that it's almost uncanny. Jessica seeing herself in the lovestruck gaze with which Paul watches Feyd whenever she thinks no one else is looking. Or seeing Leto in Feyd's devotion to Paul, his unquestioning loyalty to her.
And maybe Jessica disappoints Leto by birthing a daughter, maybe their relationship grows uncomfortable and distant as a result. But Jessica knows she wouldn't change a thing, because she sees how happy Paul is ruling with her Harkonnen husband.
Jessica ruining (or at least straining) her own relationship with Leto, to give Paul the love and power filled life she deserves with Feyd Rautha

Luffy not knowing about Zoro promising Sanji to kill him if he ever ends up losing himself makes me go feral because that's something they can only know about. Because Zoro's respect for life and death goes beyond anything, and Sanji knows he understands. Sanji knows that if somebody has to kill him, it's him.
And I don't even think it's because Sanji assumes Zoro's opinion of him is hatred and it would hurt less for him to do this, but because Sanji knows only Zoro would be able to treat the promise as it is. Because he would put Sanji's wishes before any feelings he has for him. It's not that Zoro doesn't care, but I think he respects people's ideals and decisions to the extent of being able to kill Sanji if he so desires.
That being said, he'd do it if there's no other way to fix it. If it's either dying or living as an emotionless machine, which is the same as dying for Sanji, Zoro would fulfill his promise. And there is just... Something about Luffy not knowing. Their captain. The man they're devoted to the most as if he were their God. Luffy doesn't know. It's something only the captain's wings are aware of and the thought of these two keeping this from Luffy until the end is just insane. Not even trying to make it romantic here, but the bond and respect these two have for each other is crazy.
Maybe it's the poetry of it all, too. Somebody like Zoro, who has looked at Death in her face multiple times and said "no", ending Sanji's life, who wants to give in to death to not experience a fate worse than death for him.
