I almost like to think that Clockwork kind of half-sent Danny to the ghost-world version of Gotham because he was struggling and is honestly just a kid and could use some guidance. And with how the Observants dislike him to the point of murder, CW sure couldn't keep him in Long Now. But Gotham? Now there's a place that not many go, thanks to curses running amok, a very dangerous City Spirit, and amalgamations of fallen Guardians and Rogues. It's chaotic, dangerous, and a hell of a shot, but the Bat could, and most probably would assist the newborn guardian. The living world and the infinite are intertwined after all, influenced by whatever realm it drifts closest to.

Thankfully Danny seems to be enjoying himself- he has a proper ghost friend now! And he's starting to be able to understand Batblob's cacophony of Silent-EverSilent-Gurgles-DistantWhispers-QuietScreamsSilence easier too without Robin translating. (His Ghost-Speak is getting so good :D) He wishes he could bring Sam & Tucker but it's a little too far into the ghost zone. And the ghosts and Vlad doesn't bother him here! (The last time he tried, unknown to Danny, the older halfa was met with a malicious swarm of teeth and maws ready to rip and tear and not lose another child again-) He's even gotten shown the exits to the living-world's Gotham. Robin likes to ramble about the new and different living-robins and about their friend who was also a robin and who disappeared one day and whose core they carry on their belt. Maybe he can help them find out what happened to him...

hey i'm back with a disgustingly fluff-ridden, sweet, cheesy ficlet about them being gay and married and in love!

The air is still, a warmth settling over the room as the sunrise shines through the curtains directly onto the bed, hitting Mickey’s bare chest in a way that has Ian practically mesmerized.

Mickey lays flat on his back, comforter billowing loosely around his hips. Ian traces his finger slowly up-and-down Mickey’s torso, gaze not breaking from Mickey’s face, the curve of his nose and lips as the sun rays make their way up. He blinks slowly, not wanting to miss a minute of this moment.

Mickey breathes in steadily, “Jesus Gallagher,” he huffs, “Can I help you?” He peeks one eye open and shoots it over to his husband who wears a look of no shame.

Ian shoots a one-sided grin, never looking away or halting the calming movement of his finger tracing his husband’s skin. 

Mickey turns over to face Ian, rubbing his eyes lazily, “Watcha want creep?” He jokes, his hand moves to gently rub Ian’s shoulder. Ian digs further into the mattress and closer to Mickey, comforted by the coolness of the ring against his skin. 

“Always watch you sleep,” he says with a casual shrug. 

Mickey’s eyebrows go up, “S’that right?” He inches closer. 

“Only time I can look at you without you yapping about some ‘take a picture, it’ll last longer, gallagher.’” Ian mocks in his best Mickey voice, tilting his head playfully.

“Oh?” Mickey fakes offense, “You’re the one watchin’ me sleep and i’m catchin’ heat?” He flashes a grin that takes up his entire face, his cheeks lifting to hear his eyes are hidden and a light pink flushing his cheeks. Ian has never seen anything better than that. Nothing has ever been able to bring him back to earth, to ground him, to wash away every single anxiety or fret like that smile. He finds himself gazing dreamily again with a goofy grin of his own. 

“Jesus,” Mickey leans into him, burying his face in Ian’s bare chest, “Maybe you should take a fuckin’ picture.”

“What? I can’t look at you? I can't appreciate what I got?” Ian questions, playfully tackling Mickey, pinning him to the mattress. He kisses his cheek quickly before popping back up to meet his husband’s gaze. 

“Whatever, softie,” Mickey beams, lifting his head up to meet their lips for a long, slow kiss. He pulls back, bringing his hands to cup either side of Ian’s face, captivated by the gleam in his eyes before breaking free and tackling him onto his back, “My turn, Red.” He bites his lip, smashing his mouth against his husband’s as the sun rises higher, illuminating them both in a way that the other completely enthralled at the sight.

i read one (1) single fic where during the build up to the sex scene the one character goes "god your thighs are amazing. what are they feeding you" and he responds "meat and potatoes" and i now think of that every single time i eat meat and potatoes. especially if i've just gotten back from the gym. i'm afraid it's quite literally never leaving my brain

Milo Intro

Milo is a character that would've been in Making Fiends ever since the web series. He'd also be present from Season 1 of the Nickelodeon show and onwards.

Milo is one of Clamburgs unfortunate residents, and also Maggie's brother.

Maggie and Milo have the same, depressing world view, but they choose to cope with it differently. While Maggie does it through writing poetry, Milo does it with a different form of writing.

Jokes! Writing jokes, to be specific.

Before Vendetta took over Clamburg, he had the dream to become a comedian. But due to the strict rules that Vendetta implemented, he's unable to make jokes.

Why? Because they make people laugh.

And Vendetta hates any form of happiness that isn't her own.

So, now he only makes jokes that are more depressing/concerning than funny, so that they make no one laugh.

That would also be his main role in the show:

Saying dark humor one liners that flew over the heads of the little kids that were watching.

He's making the most out of what he can have.

...even if it has 20 layers of sarcasm coated around it.

He's pretty much just in a bad/tired mood in general, and always pessimistic, ready to point out the downside of any situation whether it's necessary or not. His comments tend to drain people, and they make them question things too much for their own good. Even when he may not mean any harm, he's always got this intimidating and strict aura around him that causes most people to dislike him, but they still take him seriously.

One gag regarding his character is that he's surprisingly lucky. Vendetta's attacks usually miss him, no matter how precise she may have initiated them. Thing is, at this point he doesn't care anymore. He'd usually just sit completely still as something flies by him at max speed, his only reaction being to take another sip of his coffee.

On the subject of coffee, he's a coffee addict. Most of his scenes include him with a cup of it, sometimes he pulls it out of thin air, which is another gag.

While his role in Season 1 and in a hypothetical Season 2 isn't very prominent, that'll change in hypothetical Seasons 3 and 4, since his role would change from background character to antagonist.
