Hesh- peak dad/husband material. giggling kicking his feet ‘n crying when he finds out he’s gonna be a father lol. he’d be as involved as possible and I see this being something he’s the most proud of in his life. i think a bit of cycle breaking would be going on with him as far as the way he and Logan were raised (looking at you Elias, yea🤨), he’d do things a little different but in a good way. would still model his parenting style quite a bit after Elias’ though in many ways. def a worrier too, and may be a little overbearing sometimes bc of it

Logan- similar to Hesh, he’d be an enthusiastic dad I think. would brag about his kids consistently, regardless of what they do/become. type to be like “my kid made macaroni art at school the other day, it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen” lmao. i see him also being veryyy supportive in general, like do/be whatever you want, as long as you’re a good person. would also parent similar to how he and Hesh were raised, but i almost see him being more lenient in some ways. def the kind to let his kids learn from their mistakes and learn good, though.

Elias- ofc we saw a lot of how he was as a father in the game (lots of debatable choices being made💀), but i think he honest to god, like most parents, did the best he could. doesn’t necessarily excuse certain things, and i think Hesh specifically prob has a lot of baggage from that, but he was also a good dad in many ways methinks. generally solid father material alongside the easily criticizable behavior LMAO

Merrick- first, he def gives me girl dad energy lol. but regardless, i see him being very very loving to his kid(s) actually, like “this is my heart and soul, everything is for them, I live breath and die for them” type shit. I can see him being a bit strict at times, mostly due to his protective nature. under the personality we see from him in the game, I think his kids/kids in general would probably bring out a goofier side of him too, the dad jokes would be unlocked immediately lol

Keegan- I see him being like a mix of Hesh ‘n Merrick tbh. Very very proud to be a father, like “I’d put it on my resume if I could”, and would love unconditionally. i think he’d be the type to maybe be a bit overbearing/intense at times like Hesh, mostly due to how much he cares about his kids wellbeing/success in life. also very supportive, and i could see him struggling a bit with how to juggle his fatherhood vs his career (like a lot of military parents tbh). he’d be the kinda dad that his kid(s) really respect i think

Kick- i honestly can’t see him being a father too much, i think he’d probably be the one here to not have kids. however if he were a father, he’d take it very seriously. i think he’d be the loving and goofy kind, his personality would really shine as a dad methinks. in his kids early years, I think he’d be tweaking out a lot like “what if I’m not good enough, what if something happens to them”, but as they get older i see his attitude almost changing like “oh yea, they love to swan dive off the back of the couch, we just let them” lol.

But to start off I really could care less what they do together, but he does seem like the type just from his past to dive in quickly (he’s young and in the nhl, bro is not settling down yet💀) players like Jack often get bored easily and fairly quickly.

I could see it going for a little longer just because of them not being long distance but I wouldn’t say much longer.

Regardless of that, there not going to be able to keep it private as they wish to. Let’s be so real when I say this, nhl players like Jack can NEVER ever ever keep those things private like that. Either he’s posting it or someone else is, which is gonna most likely backfire on the whole them wanting to be private.

But yeah whatever they’ve got going on is werid and something I don’t like to waste time speculating on because whatever it is is something I guess, but in the end it’s just gonna be another re run and we’re gonna see this happen over the next prob years or so of him with new girls lol

I think the Naoya fight might be around Shibuya?? I love reading your answers to all the questions you receive! I’m excited how you stipulated that you wanted to write a FWB that doesn’t completely implode. I’m fascinated what it’s going to look like when Gojo and Rinko start to show their feelings a little more down the line if it’s not gonna be brooding and messy. I love these characters and their stories sm! This is prob a stupid question but will we ever see a Gojo POV?

Thank you so much! I say it all the time so it must be getting old but I do genuinely feel so happy that people are enjoying my writing and have gotten as attached to these characters as I have.

I'll answer the question right away: Will we get a Gojo POV?

Yes. Much, much later, we're going to get a fragmented Gojo POV that will hopefully fill in a few gaps.

For the FWB, it's going to get a bit messy for them because they're both messy people. But the messiness isn't going to involve brooding so much as panic. It'll be less of a denial of feelings and more of a panic about what the fuck to do and how to do it. 

Gojo is obviously a mess, but Rinko honestly has a lot of baggage too. So it's going to be interesting to see how you all react as they start to begin figuring things out... Rinko has already started.

As of Innate Issues, we're in 2015. That means about five years of friendship so far, and she's had an 'off-screen' internal debate regarding their relationship by now. She's very firm in believing that they will never be more than friends. To be honest, she doesn't think he'd be capable of having a serious relationship. It's going to make her a bit oblivious in some cases. Because the thing is, she's not denying her feelings at this point. She's simply accepted that they would be one-sided were she to let them grow and has remained content with where they are.

The challenge is going to be Gojo convincing her that he’s serious. And he’ll know immediately that that’s the real challenge. I've said before that she's determined that all of his affection and gestures are just the only way he knows how to be a friend, which is mostly because of the events of Hollow Echoes. She's packed away the piece of her that can analyze those signs of affection in order to protect herself from reading into things too much and hurting herself by making assumptions of non-existent care.

As for Naoya... Shibuya? Why would Naoya ever be in Shibuya? Boy never leaves the estate or does he 👀
