i promise i am not veering into caterina apologism i think lucanis and illario fans should unionise to kill her. but it is sooooo fun to me to think of how all her children and almost all her grandchildren are dead and all the terrible, abusive lessons she taught (presumably that she herself was taught by her own parents) were for nothing. it didn’t make them strong enough to survive in the crows. and then she becomes guardians to lucanis and illario and she carries the guilt and the cycle continues. the lessons just have to be even harder this time, and then it will stick. what it creates instead is a man who doesn’t want anyone to suffer as he did, and the spare who is convinced what happened to his family was inevitable. house dellamorte is so cooked

logan is so funny like he knows how to crack some serious jokes and yeah i know "worst" logan isn't the same logan than in the x-men films but im so so sure he's hilarous to the point who wade will be absolutely SHOCKED

besides yeah, logan can be a li'l grumpy but the more he feel safe, accepted and heard the more he drops the crabby facade and smirks, chuckles, laughs and i'm POSITIVE that he's capable to match wade's (freak) humour without any problem

The ill-advised Hamlet pins made about 5 or 6 years ago are currently on sale for $5.

I simply have too many of these things in my home. They have stayed with me, mostly unsold, through four separate moves. They're an awkward shape for storing in large quantities. Surely some of you must know a goth or an english major or a theater kid who thinks this is kind of funny.

For the love of god, please take these tiny Danish skeletons off my hands.

yk what i want wymack to one day follow through and actually sign the foxes up for a marathon. they make a day out of it and everyone is So Unhappy to be there at 6:30 in the goddamn am. except for. fucking neil. hes having a grand old time going for a fun little run with his team :)

okay but why was SQQ so fucking confident he was that dude and just tricking every person possible when I know for a fact he probably left the cabin with just his underrobes one day like a FREAK.

i’m aware this is probably a joke, but like. i’ve got a gripe and i’m using your ask to vent it.

off the top of my head:

shen yuan, however comical his narration may be, is not an idiot bumbling around unaware of what’s going on around him and how he’s seen. the people in his life are not humouring his little act, and his disciples’ respect and deference to his decisions is not a capitulation or a “whatever you say shizun” type reaction. the people of cang qiong mountain sect (as well as other characters: zhuzhi lang and gongyi-xiao, tianlang-jun and even meng mo) are honestly appreciative and respectful of him and what he’s done for his sect.

he is always thinking of how he presents himself to the world, always aware of his reactions and how they might be perceived. he’s aware to the point that it comes between him and binghe on multiple occasions.

he is intelligent and self-aware. equating his confusion and fear of his own sexuality and self-expression with his personality is rather annoying and a thing i see a bit too much of.

i don’t mean to be a spoilsport but it is getting rather exhausting to see the same joke packaged differently and sourced from the same misconception/misunderstanding of shen qingqiu’s fundamental characterisation.

and. also, something i think some people forget rather easily: shen yuan knows the customs and standards of ancient china, as well as those in pidw and other xianxia / wuxia / fantasy novels. you may even say he lived somewhere where he learned these things his whole life prior to transmigrating. crazy right?
