iiiiii have a want that I'm projecting into the universe. I got super attached to Happy's idea of Manic and Amy being childhood friends, and I've always loved Shadow and Amy being gal pals, and then I thought "Hey, what if I smashed those two ideas together? 8DDD"

I have no idea which sonic universe this would fit in ._.

I kept Happ's idea of Manic being an empath too. That's a permanent headcanon in my brain now, along with Amy and Manic being childhood friends =3=

Manic: - childhood friends with Amy - met Shadow through Amy - hair is a third of his weight he has SO MUCH - cannot sit still, will play with anything in reach - yapper and listener

Shadow: - shares music tastes with both Manic and Amy - just like physical affection, so will often sit within Manic's reach - is the only one who can withstand Manic's emotional overloads - likes Amy's hair, it's soft - listener

Amy: - will sass Manic endlessly, but is more gentle with Shadow - took awhile to introduce them to each other, just spaced it - actually a little surprised how well they get along considering Shadow and Sonic's relationship -feels like she has two brothers now -yapper Manic + Shadow: - think each other is cool - share clothing interests - complain about Sonic together - will both stand back and cheer while Amy goes ham in a fight - play music together even though Sonic calls Manic a traitor for it

Amy + Shadow: - go to concerts together - watch romance dramas together - go shopping together - Shadow loves Amy's pampering, and tries to return the favor

Amy + Manic: - Manic tolerates Amy's pampering - squee over babies and babysit kids together - gossip pals - Amy is the only one who can tame Manic's hair

I am currently designing a Manic X Shadow post card to give away at a Sonic event I'm going to this autumn. I'm still workshopping ideas for the design.

But here is a wip from last year. I had trouble remembering which device the file was on but found it today skimming through a random folder.

A reimagined version of Sonia and Manic. Sonic's siblings.

I decided to go forth and give Sonia a bit more of a girly girl vibe. Giving her longer quills that are lighter at the ends. She went on to become a diplomat.

Gave Manic a much needed update. He and Sonic look more alike than people realize. He's dyed his quills to represent his siblings and mother so they're always apart of him. He went on to have a successful music career. He's known as Manic Underground on stage.

The three siblings try to keep in contact as much as possible. But its hard to try and keep up when your speedster brother is homeless.
