how did your greasy little goofy goober (nightmare) end up so goopy looking, cause if theirs a canon age in this blog to where he was emo asf when he was 14, then what age and HOW did he become to greasy (my man’s need some dawn dish soap and hot water)
(Give nightmares preferred pronouns as well SONI don’t misgender them because I have no idea what their gender currently is or sexuality hhhhh)
hihihi finally someone asked me this!! 👏(<- rubbing my hands together)
Well first of, nightmare's pronouns are he/him! and he's a trans ace bi man if ur curious
nightmare turning into goo is probably my favorite thing to write about cuz it's the transest metaphor I've ever wrote and also because it goes into monster biology/soul stuff
nightmare turned gooey when he was in his 14 y/o emo phase, and it was no apple's fault! Nightmare turned into goo... out of his own volition and without any apples!
See, monsters' souls are very connected to their bodies, and since their bodies is the manifestation of their soul, then whatever strong emotions they're feeling is reflected right back on their bodies
For example.... a skeleton monster going through immense mental scarring would have that scarring manifest through their bones cracking maybe. or a furry monster would manifest that with loosing fur. ect.
Nightmare felt so much sadness for being left behind, so much anger against his mother, and so much disgust over his body, that his body just couldn't handle it anymore.
So it cracked open! his head split and his bones melted to make something new. something that wasn't *sans*.
The goo is the true manifestation of his soul! something he can shape to his heart's content, without anyone imposing their will on him! (he's a shapeshifter, after all!)
I must say, it was a indeed very painful. But no one says transitioning is always a smooth process
But he doesn't need soap and water man! let him have this!

Simple observation I made from reading these comics. DC, stop making their dad an asshole and make him hug them more.
Also, the hugs in these comics:
Tim's hug is not in Red Robin but it's during the run and when Bruce comes back in time.
Cass' hug is weird because they're suicidal freaks who think fighting is therapy. They fought while being drugged, and blew up a brigde. It makes sense for them only.
Jason's first hug (Outlaws) is after he tries to apologize for his crimes and Bruce refuses to let him to do it, because his boy is innocent for him 🥺 (and then, they fucked it up with Ethiopia because they cannot let them have nice things 🙄). The second one (Red Hood & Arsenal) is started by Jason, who is just very happy to see that Bruce is alive, even if he has lost his memory.

utterly delighted by the fact that mysaria is wearing her fantasy kimono/hanbok/hanfu inspired robe the wrong way around. Right over left, the way you would dress a corpse.
I know this is almost certainly unintentional, an oversight by the show they either didn't notice or decided too minor to fix, but given mysaria's book ending, there's something so delicious to the idea of mysaria kissing rhaenyra, tying herself to rhaenyra, clad in her burial clothes.
doomed by the narrative indeed

Demonstration...
You still can't see shit LMFAOOOOOOO but Solo Style (noise cancellers, SECURED)
The Vest........ another thing about it is that it's very seasonal as well, it is So Toasty.... so, unfortunately, not super suitable for everyday regardless of circumstance wear. Another factor as to why I haven't "done" anything with it, punk custom-wise. It's just not intended for that! Plus it's beautifully hand crafted!!! I may add some tiny trinkets to the safety pins with jump rings. That's as much as I can see myself doing, here. (The pins, are a lifesaver... literally the biggest issue I had w this was how the collar fit 😭 Something you just Don't Know until you wear a piece of clothing at least three times.)
Back to the jacket though, I also really like how it falls here. It almost looks dress-like, in the front... in a super androgynous way... And the way the bottom pockets are fully accessible under the vest. Very cool!
I CAN WEAR THIS!!!!!!!! I CAN WEAR THIS‼️‼️‼️‼️ I'M SO UNBELIEVABLY EXCITED TO HAVE SOMETHING I CAN WEAR THIS WITH!!!!!!!!!! I WILL layer this on top of my first-run jacket in the winter and it is. So Stupid LMFAOOOO (how I've got So Many protruding details in the back on that one...... VERY COOL was super fun to make But. Hhhgnhh)
I still get so much euphoria wearing this particular coat though like. Yeesss..... vanishing into the cozy shapeless void of dark blue flannel. Like if a blanket was a coat. It's AWESOME..... and it pairs SO WELL w the jacket. I just. Have to Make Sure. As I customize it. That it still pairs well with the coat LMFAOOOOO
Which is!!!! What I meant by "punk jacket you could sleep in". That is my design philosophy going into this......... Somehow. Honestly don't know how I'm gonna combine coziness with Spikes And Shit but. Fucking. Watch Me. I fucking guess!!!!!! 🫡

I see some people often wonder out loud if Luffy might get a weapon or something to wield eventually, for no other reason than Roger and Shanks (and even Kaidou) also use(d) weapons, and it'd give Luffy some "extra strenght" in combat so he wouldn't have to rely on his Devil Fruit so much (and the Awakening especially, since it drains him so badly)
And the thing is, as most would probably agree, most weapons and blades especially just would not fit into Luffy's combat style. He, much like his grandpappy, fights with his fists, so it's hard to imagine him using any kind of weapons to fight
But that just made me wonder... Like...
Okay so people have been speculating for ages that Luffy might die at the end of the story or something, right. I do not buy that for a second, but it is true that Luffy is willing to throw himself into a lot of danger and has sacrificed literal years off his lifespan to protect those around him. And that has been escalating. It'd be natural for Luffy's self-endangerment to escalate to a point where there'd be actual, severe and tangible concequences for it. Aside from death.
And you know.
There's been some allusions to Luffy losing his hands, right
And you might wonder
How would Luffy losing a hand translate to him gaining a weapon
Well
You know
And the funny thing is
Luffy might not be one to use a HOOK, per se
But we have seen him wield a giant ball of gold to smash Enel's face in. So a metal mace/morning star/etc could actually work
(Also since his Awakening can mess with the fabric of reality itself, even if one of Luffy's fists was replaced with a solid ORB of metal, he could probably/totally reshape it during combat to fit his needs, into an axe or a morning star or knife etc)
Also.
There would be something poetic about Luffy sacrificing a hand to protect someone dear to him, much like how Shanks sacrificed his entire arm to protect Luffy in Chapter 1.
Like you'd get the pay-off/concequences to the escalation of Luffy's constant self-sacrificing, but nobody dies. Luffy gets a weapon to add to his arsenal, but it fits into his pre-existing fighting style and character. And we could get that poetic full-circle.
That all said, if Luffy did somehow lose a hand.
I'm sure Franky would HAPPILY give Luffy a prosthetic hand with a ✨BEAM✨ Can not imagine Luffy turning such an offer down lmao

every sumeru quest involving the eremites are just increasingly nightmarish to get through like if the fact that they, the only group of people w darker skin, are portrayed as all being the deceptive aggressive """brutish""" antithesis to the akadaymia and are consistently supposed to be in the wrong every fuckin quest wasn't bad enough the whole thing where they're framed as being evil and unreasonable for wanting their ancestral land back and honoring their traditional beliefs is truly vile
