#idc if people are religious or whatever #but went to an indoor garage sale at a Catholic school this morning #and they were using a second grade and seventh grade classroom in addition to the gym for the sale #and... wow. they had some prayer about forgiving the sins they've committed on the blackboard #in the second grade classroom and i read it and it was a little scary to me as an adult #if i was a kid attending the school I'd be terrified out of my mind i think #it read really heavy for something they're teaching little kids like that #idk it made be really uncomfortable honestly #and to think my parents thought about putting me in Catholic school as a kid lol thanks but no #I'm glad they didn't #the seventh grade classroom wasn't much better but they didn't have a scary prayer on the board lol #just a bunch of stuff about hell

"Be Our Guest" original draft storyboards vs final film (💖)

The song was originally written by Ashman and Menken to be sung by the enchanted objects to Maurice instead of Belle. However, story artist Bruce Woodside felt that the song would make more sense if it was sung to Belle, the main character, as opposed to secondary character Maurice, and directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale agreed.
