Would y’all judge me hard if I reposted/reblogged old generator Rex fanart? I haven’t watched that show in years, but I liked some of the more obscure characters. I just realized I don’t really post anything monster related despite listing “monster lover” in my intro post lol.

But,,,I’m kinda scared that I’ll weird some folks out. None of it is nsfw content. However, the characters themselves kinda mean a lot to me, and they have little fanart/content outside their brief appearances on the show. I’ll still mainly post dr and other stuff though ofc. I’m just being a little shy ig.

something about the bullet catch and the ineffable divorce

I’ve been having thoughts:

What if the bullet catch mirrors the final 15? The turnip turning didn’t work, the miracles didn’t work -> what they usually did didn’t work; it was blocked by Furfur or in the final 15 by the toxicity of Heaven winding it’s way back into Aziraphale’s self-esteem lacking brain (they need me as supreme archangel) and Maggie and Nina meddling (even though they said seconds before that meddling is bad) 

What they usually did would be not talk about feelings and just go on about everything normally. But now Crowley tried to talk about feelings (Azi tried to turn the turnip) and it didn’t work and now there is the need for a grand gesture to fix it. Crowley kisses Aziraphale (like in the movies and romance books) and Aziraphale tries the bullet catch. 

The difference: the bullet catch worked because Aziraphale counted on Crowley being A DEMON (who could presumably shoot guns) while in the final 15 the kiss didn’t work, because here, Aziraphale wanted Crowley to be an Angel instead.

Also worth noting: in the bullet catch they were only in that situation because Aziraphale wanted to help Crowley (replacing the deserted magician to make up for the broken bottles) because Crowley helped him first (in the church, saving the books). The entirety of season two only takes place because Aziraphale wanted to help Gabriel and Crowley decided to help Aziraphale with that and Maggie and Nina decided to help Aziraphale after the ball with the demons (which leads to Maggie accidentally inviting them in). If at any point either in the Minisode or in the finale of s2 someone decided not to risk something to help someone they love and/or treasure greatly, they wouldn’t have been in that situation that required a grand gesture (again, the bullet catch or the kiss)

I don’t know if any of this makes sense, I’m sleep-deprived and sad about the final 15 but I think it does.

not to take away from charles’ well deserved spotlight in ep3, but man. imagining the devlin house from edwin’s perspective is pretty damn rough in its own right. but in a way he doesn’t even seem to realize or process. like specifically, mainly, the fact that he stands there, unfazed, watching this family get cut up with an axe over and over and over. you know who else got cut up and torn apart and killed over and over and over? you know who else was stuck in a seemingly unending cycle feeling the pain of dying every single time? oh yeah

idk if this is just a me thing but the venue of the plays really do add the the theme, like idk how to explain it but aubergine wouldn’t be the same without the 21 soho background- it would still be GREAT- but it would feel so different. Strange noises is another one especially noticeably like this where it’s like that wooden backdrop just ads so much to it somehow- and it’s like that with all of them and I just love it cause it’s something that you can really only get with improv and theatre where the background of the venue ads to it but the same thing could literally influence the vibe so may ways depending on it all cause it’s IMPROVISED and idk i just love it

Just realizing how often Solas looks at Lavellan and then immediately looks away, only to look AGAIN. Like I KNOW he avoids her gaze I’ve focused on that before, but I guess I didn’t realize how many times he does it. So here’s the first time when he looks at her, looks away, only to look BACK at her.

He looks at her while she talks, but then looks away and then BACK. I just imagine she’s like the sun to him. You look for only a few moments but then it’s too bright. He can’t take her words straight on, it’s too much. But then he keeps doing it.

He turns to fully face her and says sorry ONLY TO LOOK DOWN AT THE GROUND A SECOND LATER. HE TURNED TO FACE HER BUT THEN CANT LOOK AT HER???

When he cuts his palm and is talking, he’s looking at Morrigan’s and Rook’s position, but then he does look at Lavellan

Or at least in her direction, ONLY TO LOOK AWAY AGAIN

His eyes are downcast, and then he looks even fucking further away.

Idk man. I’m looking too into it but just the way he looks at her only to look away over and over again until HE CANT. UNTIL SHE GOES TO HIM, HOLDS HIS HANDS, AND REFUSES TO LET HIM LEAVE HER!!!! They’ll be able to look at each other forever now😭😭😭.

This could be a hard stretch but I think the reason why viv and her crew doesn’t like Octavia because they are not her original creators

and look I know it sounds crazy but hear me out so no shocking secret that Vivzepop has a long history of copying other artists ocs designs and slap it onto her characters and claim it as her original designs and with currently today she is still doing that except she doesn’t draw anymore so all of the characters in helluva boss are not even viv characters they were literally drawn by other artists without getting credit

so this is where Octavia comes in I think someone who used to work on the show created her and you can tell whoever made Octavia actually cares for her I mean when you look back at the Instagram posts and lo lo land it feels like Octavia was important to the show 

but sadly of course her original creator was either getting treated like crap by spindlehorse or got fired for stupid reasons so now viv and has to write Octavia but instead of actually caring about her or giving her any development viv doesn’t do anything with Octavia she only cares about her if makes her favorite character looks like a good person (cough stolas cough)

and with how the final episode making Octavia look like a villain by cutting off stolas from her life and running away it seems like viv and spindlehorse is using this as an excuse to write her out of the show until they remember she exists and do the bare minimum to bring her back into the plot

So he’s distraught but he doesn’t address it. But then page 465:

“It has been toward for five years,” Jean said, looking past Jeremy at the scrimmage that was still going on without them. “It is not that easy to undo.”

Jeremy frowned at him and echoed, “Five? You were only with the Ravens for three.”

“I moved into Evermore two years before I enrolled,” Jean said, and hauled Jeremy to one side.
