No one else wants to explain the X+ amount of years of Superbat pinning and baby steps for the two to get to the point of Supes throwing Bats during missions

Oh my god, imagine some new hotshot (Guy Gardner, etc) comes in and throws Batman during a mission because he saw Superman do it once and before Bruce’s feet fully touch the ground he’s hauling Hal Jordan off as the ranking Green Lantern for a discussion on Gardner because he’s a professional and won’t do it right in front of the League. MEANWHILE, Superman is getting shoved into a wall by Diana trying to calm him down because he’s got the burning red eyes and the sudden urge to throw Gardner through the air without a ring to see how he likes it (Clark was terrified Bruce would get injured and won’t fully be over this for at least 5-7 business days)

Fanny Price shouldn’t have ended up with Henry Crawford (George W. Bush ass motherfucker) or Edmund Bertram (not a bad dude but way too enmeshed with those sorry people) or even Mary Crawford (who, yes, is a very sexy and awkwardly cynical lady whom I love, but she’s never going to be objective about Henry and that’s always gonna be weird). She should’ve ended up with my wealthy self-insert of as-yet-to-be-determined gender, who scoops her up and introduces her to people who show her basic human kindness and gives her all the service horses/fires/telescopes that her heart desires.

(NB: I love MP and believe there are excellent literary reasons for it to end as it does. This is just my personal daydream.)
