actually, separatism is non-individualist feminist activism and does actually benefit other women because it:

-socioeconomically hurts the male class

-shows alternatives to younger women and girls to being partnered with a man

-shields women and girls from the potential harm that could come with exposing them to predatory male companions

-creates space for and amplifies consciousness raising

-gives a woman a freer, healthier life

tourists get to enter palestine, lounge on our beaches, live on our land, eat our food, and explore our (stolen) art, style, and culture. but refugee palestinians who were kicked out of their homes, palestinians who left because they didn’t want their kids to live under apartheid, palestinians whose only options were to flee or get massacred- they barely ever get to enter their homeland again. most are never allowed to even go back.

how is that fair? that other people get to enter OUR country, live on OUR land, share OUR culture, but WE were never given the chance to? how can you just sit by and watch this happen without feeling disgust and pain in your heart for not even speaking up about it? the least anyone could do is just speak up. just say something. please.

big believer in rocky being an extremely angry person actually! so much of it is internalized and he very much channels it into specific things ( like wick, or more recently, marigold ) but this doesn’t negate the fact that he is angry and resentful. sometimes being mad is more than just punching people and threats of violence! sometimes it’s quiet seething and forced joy. sometimes awful things happen to you and you letting them happen doesn’t mean you won’t become angry about it. sometimes your anger is fear, and sometimes it’s another thing, and actually maybe it’s always coming from some other emotion but it feels like anger and that’s what sticks. and i’ll also just say that his head trauma won’t be helping him with any of these problems in the future either <3
