so when we watched sandboy I told my niece the names and concepts of all the kwamis (not the powers though), and I also asked her who she'd pair them with. She said she'd give the Ox to Kim, which I think is fitting, then the Pig to Rose since she loves everyone. Then my favorite was with Ziggy: "I'd give the passion one to Nathaniel or the writing guy", which I find hilarious seeing the whole canon vs fandom expectation with the Goat. xD

He dies and suddenly there will never ever be time to repair the rift.#Someone you loved died thinking you hated them. And part of you did just a bit. But love and hate aren't mutually exclusive.#He's fucking dead and you are left with so many broken and unfinished pieces between the two of you.#Jiang Cheng loses Wei Wuxian thinking that WWX thought they hated each other.#He's a younger brother who will one day be older than the person he lost.#Who has no one else in the world who understands those feelings of love and hate and grief.#I can't be normal about this character. I don't think he even heals me. Zero catharsis to be gained here.#I just look at his sour grape ass and think 'shit that's a little too close to home.' Okay but, I watched the Ayakashi Bakeneko arc again with a friend, joking that "haha, it's Medicine Seller's first day at a new job so he's different from the Mononoke series". And when we get to the point where the Bakeneko shows its Reason this is how he looks at it all
All of his joy and optimism, gone. He was actually lighthearted before shit hit the fan, flirting with Kayo and teasing Odajima. But now it's like this enlightened creature realizes for the first time what atrocities humans are actually capable of. It's just disgust and disappointment. No wonder he's so different in the Mononoke series, because now he has expectations for what his job is gonna be like

I hope y'all are doing well#ive been reading a lot of fics with these two and i see how the authors have the characters refer to each other in their fics#and that got me wondering how much do they say each other's name in the show and how do they refer to each other#since this is the wilson video ill put his stats here#s1 was 11 times s2 was 18 s3 was 45 s4 was 32 s5 was 41 s6 was 60 s7 was 47 and s8 was 48#in total he says his name 302 times. Mostly refers to him just by House#the only time I've heard him say his first name its when he's being professional or when he's really angry (and that one time he proposed)#and even then it's always the full name not just the first name#the only instance I've seen him use just his first name was on that note he put on House's xmas gift that we see in season 5#and as much as I wanted to put that moment in here he never actually says the contents of the note out loud so i had to leave it out#but what surprised me was he says House's name more than House says his name#especially when the earlier seasons didn't have him say his name as much

(even if he knew in my opinion) and style being so comfortable with fadel that he forgot that he's talking to a hitman#it's the guy he's interested in. he forgot for a split second whom he talking to and trusted him enough to tell all about these#things about him which is kinda personal at least for some yet here we are with one who's trusting the other enough to tell things#and fadel is surprised!! no one can convince me otherwise I might be delulu but like i said i believe he already knows all of this#yet he asked and didn't expect that style would be so open about all this to tell him this the 6th and 8th gif tells a lot#fadel is still trying to figure style out but I feel like the conversation here and at the garage where fadel saw himself#style in working mode and how he helps out a lot at the garage and the conversation how his dad became his most important person#added a lot to his trust barometer when it comes to style. he sees him in a different perspective. light whatever you wanna call it#but it definitely trust his view on style a bit. Hear me out: you can ship JayVik without falling into or using rhetoric that fits the disposable black girlfriend trope. You can ship JayVik without using Mel as some conceived ploy or antagonistic plot device that makes her out of character. You can ship JayVik without falling into misogynistic rhetoric (eg. viewing female characters as disposable or stepping tools, amongst other things). You can ship JayVik without erasing the impact Mel has had on Jayce and their relationship because, whether you shipped it or not or even gave it the time of day, Mel and Jayce did care for each other, and to deny that or say Viktor held more importance/impact than her in Jayce's life to where she's viewed as "unnecessary" just to further your ship is so wrong and, whether you intended for it or not, does carry undertones where black characters, especially black female characters, emotional impact on others is ignored or downplayed even though there's context to support just how important it is/they are. Lastly, you can ship JayVik without using anti-black and misogynoir type rhetoric because the amount that has flooded this fandom, but especially from some fans of this ship, is atrocious. Ship what you like, but be respectful and careful with certain things you say, is all I'm saying.

Thinking about martyn rats 2 finale from ren's pov cause like
He tells him about his real back story and martyn is only surprised that he has a wife and a kid. No upset over the fact he lied over being a captain and how he ended up on his own on the sea. A bit of surprise that his old captain used to be a cat, but true genuine surprise only when he mentions his wife. Not too long after his liutenant tells him he wants to tell him something but ultimely decides not. And then when they have finally taken the sangria to the sea and they are ready to sail off, his liutenant starts the ship without warning and stays behind only to be never seen again.
I like to think ren thought the reason his dear liutenant did this is that he was in love with him and after he mentioned how he wanted to get his wife back, he couldn't bring himself to come along.
