So, I really love time travel fics and I love the Lucerys cuts out his own eye trope while Aemond watches in horror. That's why my brain conjured up the following plot idea:

What if after their respective deaths, they both travel back in time to the same moment without knowing the other came back too and it's the exact moment where Aemond demanded Lucerys' eye as paiment for his debt on Stormsend just before the fateful flight.

This time though Lucerys does not run. He processes the situation just a second before Aemond does and fueled by his own fear of death does the only thing that seems logical at this moment. He lungs for the dagger and proceeds just as Aemond demanded. Aemond snaps out of his own stupor just as the screaming starts and tries to stop Lucerys but it's already to late. The eye is lost. A meaningless debt which had been paid tenfold in another life had been paid again. And Lucerys looks up at him through tears and blood, his face twisted in agony and asks: "Will you let me leave now, uncle?"

Imagining Charles Emerson Winchester III, so small he hasn't even started growing into that name yet, walking past his younger brother's empty bedroom, wanting to put a name to the fear he feels but not having the words for it. Picturing him noticing the differences between three and two. Never talking about it but never forgetting either, telling himself that Honoria was too young to remember the way he does. Wondering if when he applies to medical school years later, he remembers the fear and hopes he'll finally have the words for it.

My OC Rhagerys Targaryen with the two people who he would do anything and everything for.

His younger half sisters, Baela and Rhaena. They mean the world to him. They are his weakness but also his strength to keep going. He is their big brother and has been taught to protect them at all costs.

The way I see the three are as the sun, moon, and stars. Rhaena is the Sun. Along with her dragon Morning. Baela is the Moon. Along with her dragon Moondancer. Rhagerys is the Stars. Along with his dragon Starsong. Each are present in one another's lives but in such different ways that people forget that they're connected to one another. That in some way they always will be.

This gorgeous artwork was done by the wonderfully talented @lonelymagpies. They did such marvelous job. The hair, the clothing, the jewels, their looks.

Also a special thank you to @dr-aegon. They reblogged a post mentioning that lonelymagpies was doing commissions. So, thanks to them, I was able to have this artwork created.

Rotating Etho's choice to protect his allies in my mind. Obviously they made incredible escapes and held their own but Etho also refusing to sell out Cleo and Grian meant that nearly everyone else died, some died multiple times, most lost additional hearts, hurt alliances (Scott: Gem has no band loyalty!), and did not gain something like 120 hearts total

Meanwhile, Cleo and Grian get to feel secure in their alliance, not go red, and actually finish their tasks. The playing field has obviously been levelled significantly and they still suffered, but Etho facilitated his alliance gaining the most where everyone else lost the most

Obviously it's a display his loyalty first and foremost but he also played the game, ran the numbers, and counted himself out of success knowing it would be diminishing returns to go after them and I just think that's neat

Scene: friends don't kiss each other or also Choi Seunghyo being smitten and being wrap around Seok-ryu's little finger

he can’t hide his smile after the kiss. he was giddy and on cloud nine. at this point he can still function and think normally around her. he can still tease her like any other normal day. because Seok-ryu being flustered and shy was not something he always see before this. so he is fine at this moment.

he had the biggest smile on his face when he knew that she had tried to find him like a "debt collector". imagine how happy it is for someone that has always been waiting for his crush to finally noticed him and finally reciprocate his feeling, to receive the attention from the love of his life. the guy was genuinely happy that his smile makes us smile and warm inside.

the way he immediately ignore na-yun's ridiculous comeback for "it's sunbae that i like," by being nonchalant about it but also knew that it was inappropriate but to handle na-yun at that moment is not the time nor place for that. and i can see that he was scared if Seok-ryu might misunderstood that. he wanted this to happens for years and to have it crushed because of this immature girl? na-yun has been getting on my nerve since the beginning. she is so childish that seunghyo had not address this earlier because it seems harmless to him at first but when he has something that he wants to protect, it's time for him to take action. but his nervous expression when he feels that seokryu is uncomfortable and irritated with na-yun's comments had my heart's ache for a bit.

i know he felt vulnerable when na-yun and tae hui seems like the barrier between him and seokryu. i can feel his insecurity of his new relationship with seokryu. maybe they will have conflict for that if the writer decides to delve on it and honestly i would love to see it. so that he can be assured that she is not going anywhere so he need not worried and stop walking as if he is on a thin ice. because it was very obvious from seunghyo. their relationship is so fragile to him that he scared that it will break.

and i understand him so much that i want to give him a hug.

Random Thought #33: Idk how to say this without sounding like I’m tryna diminish Jin Zixuan’s one moment of unambiguous good, but I don’t think Jin Zixuan defending Mianmian would ever have happened if he had to do something more proactive than just…ignoring the words of a man he had been building a simmering hatred for over the course of a few weeks.

Jin Zixuan is shown (and explicitly said) to side with people he considers “his people.” While they are all hostages of the Wen during the indoctrination camp, outside of that shared victimhood, Mianmian is simply a stranger to Jin Zixuan, while his “defense” of her is simply refusing to move out of the way when Wen Chao—the man who had been targeting him for harassment every day for weeks on end—ordered him to. This is a very passive resistance. And not to say that this wasn’t a good deed or any less of a powerful moment, but if Wen Chao hadn’t singled out Jin Zixuan for bullying, would he have still ignored the former’s words to move out of the way? If Jin Zixuan hadn’t happened to be standing by Lan Wangji and Mianmian hid behind only the Lan, instead, would he have said anything in her defense? Would he have even physically moved to shield her? Is any of that in-character with the behavior we are shown of his throughout any of the rest of the novel?
