The particular population of men swinging into conservatism is the youngest generation. These are high school and middle school aged kids growing up in an educational environment where they're disadvantaged on the basis of their sex and in which women largely hold the power—see the underperformance of young men in education. These men will encounter misandrist rhetoric over the course of their youth, either rehashed and compiled by conservative mouthpieces or stumbled across in the wild, which seems to say that they are responsible for the ills of women around them and they are the oppressor class.
Of course women don't turn right-wing en-masse on account of discrimination; they wouldn't turn to the side of their antagonists. Similarly young men turn to the right because they feel antagonized by the left—framed for a patriarchy they didn't install. They feel they're being punished for their immutable characteristics, and the loudest consolation is only coming from the lip of the right-wing pipeline. What remains except to embrace reality as it is, and abuse the system for their benefit? Clearly women don't care about them (as they will often hear voices from the left say, 'Haven't women been nice enough to men already/women don't owe men anything') and with their polluted understanding that women are remorseless about them, why should they feel any remorse for women?
And so they fall. You push them into the trap, then you blame them for falling in. You may think your online musings are just screaming into a void, but they're not. Anyone can read it. The right wing will use your hate against you. The right wing will use your hate to turn men across the world against you. Mind what you post.

Like we literally have a sliver of a chance at getting Blue Georgia and Blue North Carolina in this years election and genuinely it feels like people are just willing to throw that out. Hell, even Texas over the past 20 years has had a BIG shift in voting habits.

The last 20 years in Texas ^^^

Georgia ^^^

And fucking NORTH CAROLINA. Look at how close this margin is. This is absolutely batshit insane to me. They are now basically swing states.

Literally begging anyone who can vote in US elections to vote, and to vote against Trump. Which means voting for Harris, not abstaining or voting third party.
My family actually did move here from an authoritarian country, where voting literally didn't matter, they literally did throw out your vote, and they literally did assassinate citizens who spoke out against them.
We would all very much like to keep living in a country where those things are not the case!
You know, the same things that Trump and his stooges have openly said they want to do. And two of the main propaganda lines for why people in the US shouldn't vote, which is a lie.
Voting matters. The parties are not the same.
And make sure to vote in down-ballot races!!!
And like. The fact that voting matters in the US is a very real reason for hope. It is something you should genuinely appreciate. We can make a difference.
And a lot of people risked their lives or even died to earn that right, and it's a right not everyone has.

I'm seeing an uptick in people calling not to vote for Harris as a protest against the war on Palestine.
I'm taking it all as propaganda, and I'd encourage you to do the same.
I absolutely support Palestinians, from the very bottom of my heart. I'm sickened and devastated by what's going on. I've donated what little money I have to spare.
But y'all. Harris at least is calling for a ceasefire. Trump said Israel should finish the job. He said he wants generals like Hitler had. He genuinely, truly, deeply wants a genocide, both here and there.
Not voting, or god forbid, voting for Trump, will make things infinitely worse. If he wins, it's all over. And his running mate is worse.
Please please please, get out and vote for Harris. It is genuinely our only chance at peace for anyone.

I’m in the South. I’ve got ears to the ground. Republicans are SWEATING at the prospect of Kamala being nominated. They’re not sure Trump can beat her.
Let’s prove them right.

ELECTION PSA
If you are in line to vote and your state’s polls close (ex. Illinois closes at 7PM CST), do not get out of line! They are REQUIRED to let you stay in line and vote.
Don’t let anyone convince you that your vote doesn’t matter. Your voice, especially those of you in a swing state, matters greatly for the future of our country.

Kamala Harris does want "transgender surgery on illegal aliens that are in prison", btw.
So since Trumpists are getting mad enough about the jokes to actually cite their sources, I thought I'd put the source out into my left extremist commie faggot echo chamber, too.
The claim originates from an ACLU questionnaire she filled out for her 2020 presidential candidacy, specifically this section:
Tumblr media
She wasn't given a new questionnaire for 2024, and has stated that while her policy on some things may have changed, her values had not. (This most likely means she moved more to the center to appease larger demographics and cut corners to reach compromises. The basic politician stuff.)
It boils down to this: If you're in prison, whether for "illegal" immigration or other crimes, you rely on the state to provide you with necessary amenities, like food and health care. Her argument isn't "hell yeah everyone in prison should get sex changes for free". It's "gender affirming surgery is a necessary medical procedure. If you are in the states care while this becomes necessary, the state should provide it." If you're outraged by your tax money being used on this, consider the massive amount of people being incarcerated in for-profit prisons, on your dime. Then ask yourself if maybe a prison reform might be in order.
Worth noting: In 2015, while Attorney General, Kamala Harris actually argued against providing gender-affirming surgery to an incarcerated trans woman, claiming that HRT and psychotherapy were sufficiently covering her medical needs. She has since obviously changed her stance and assumed responsibility. (I would like to take this moment to remind my fellow left extremist commie faggots that "willingness to learn and rethink your views" is infinitely more valuable than "perfect from the start and unwilling to listen to anyone")
Also found in the source: This image of Kamala Harris participating in the 2019 San Francisco Pride Parade, wearing what I believe to be a sequin rainbow embroidered denim jacket.
Tumblr media
I encourage you to read the provided CNN article and the answers to the ACLU questionnaire, as they give great insight into her values.
TLDR: Based.
