#like am I GOOD at the anime style they use? NO.#but now that we've got Caldarus's designs I wanna make her seasonal 'fits that kinda complement his #I unlocked Caldarus WAY sooner than I was supposed to and it is Super Obvious lol #I started a new save #because I wanted to replay #(I love that the writing in this game is good enough that I was like 'I want to see the Friday night inn convos again')#but it meant I knew to save unlock items #and I freakin'... BLITZED the mines #so statue!Caldarus was still at blue hearts #and like. from a story perspective I DO understand why he's gotta be at yellow to rescue MC from Certain Doom.#but the fact that I straight-up skipped both levels of green #on account of it is FALL of YEAR ONE #is hilarious #they definitely did not intend for me to do that #when I inevitably start fresh for the next stop on the roadmap I will probably go ahead and wait until Y2 at least #because I remember him getting quiet and then silent over winter and I l think it adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the relationship

imagine an au where shen yuan transmigrates into a blank slate npc with very little system involvement, traveling around for a while until he's found by yue qingyuan and taken back to the sect because apparently shen qingqiu went missing around his transmigration period and shen yuan looks exactly like him, so it must be him, but then a few weeks later when he's just settled in on the peak and accepted his fate the real shen qingqiu shows up who was just on vacation and everyone forgot.

now there are two shen qingqiu's, one of whom is the real one and the other an amnesiac they gaslighted into believing he is shen qingqiu.

anyway—shen qingqiu has a new didi now!

I will finally draw yuugi #ygo has been in my dna for like close to a decade at this point and yet. I have never attempted to draw anything for it #until now. my audacity has finally reached quota #wishshipping saved my ass this lunar new year and its not even an exaggeration. thank you kazuki takahashi for the boys. rest in peace #mutou yuugi I love u.... u r my son #not mentioned in this stack but dsod's decision to thin yuugi's choker is the funniest shittiest character design decision on earth #like as a detail its so nothing. when u zoom out it just looks like a shadow dropped wrong somewhere. trying new coloring methods. 0/10 do NOT recommend, but hey at least i got something kinda okay out of it

#this was based on a sketch i posted a few days ago cuz i didnt have any ideas for compositions #-and i wanted to try a new rendering method i saw on youtube #the method btw is to start in greyscale so you can get the values right before using the curves tool to adjust colors #i ended up hating it though because my colors always wound up feeling basic #i think it works better in lighting situations where the light’s color is neutral #i used a bunch of gradient maps and overlay layers to try and fix it bc it was looking VERY muddy and weird #and i think i did successfully save it after a lot of frustration #but i will likely not be trying this method again cause i like using funky lighting and colors #art #fanart #digital art #dc comics #tim drake fanart #tim drake robin #tim drake #red robin fanart #robin fanart #dc robin #robin #red robin
