the tfw dynamics with jack are so interesting to me because like. the most destiel “proof” (so to say) we get is from the concept that jack has of dean being his dad. and this stems from cas being his dad, and whatever their relationship is just being so horribly obvious that jack assumes they’re together and treats dean like a father figure.

What do you think an Inquisition romance Emmrich's requirements would be? What would be his gender/race locking?

I honestly don't think he would be race or gender locked, but perhaps his romance would be locked behind certain choices? I feel like allying with the templars could lock him out of a romance, much like the act 1 choice in DAV can lock a certain companion out of theirs.

In DAV, his preferences mean nothing because everyone's preferences are uniform due to gameplay choices (everyone must be romanceable by every player). But if being straight/gay/lesbian/aro or having a racial preference was a thing, by contrast it would mean that emmrich has specifically discovered himself as a bisexual man, who has an attraction to all races. He's grown into that piece of himself as a result of his own individuality. It's characterization, and not just player-oriented decision making.

I also think that in inquisition we'd be given the option to disagree with him during certain companion quest moments, and even break the romance off if he chooses a certain path. Maybe he'd have a crisis scene if his approval isn't high enough and you convince him to abandon his dream. Maybe there'd be jealousy dialogue if you attempt to start a romance with him while already in one with another companion.

Su Minshan is well acquainted with the fulfillment of service. It's just nothing he'd ever imagined Xue Yang taking pleasure in. Xue Yang had always been impatient with wounds, disgusted by weakness, in himself and others. If Su Minshan had understood in time, he could have searched the beggars' camps for some pretty youth with a missing leg and a less dangerous pedigree to throw in Xue Yang's path.
