The sound of Ace's contagious, enthusiastic laughter bellows uproariously deep into your heated ears. Your arms cross over your heaving chest as a growing pout struts across your torrid little scowl, legs dangling with each step Ace would take carrying you in his arms.

"Shut up Ace, it's not funny!" you grumble, excessive heat gathering more rapidly against your puffy cheeks, the after affect of the specific fruit Marco specifically told you to NOT consume, flourishing through your entire numb body. Ace just continues chortling noisily, amusingly, as feeble wavy strands of his pretty charcoal hair drafts across his freckled adorable face. You leisurely roll your eyes, tapping your fingers of what little movement you can conjure up, against your arms in annoyance.

"Aw come onnnn sweets, it's a little funny! and here I'd thought I'd be the idiot to eat the fruit!" Ace rambles with softer chuckles, his warm palms kneading gently against your anesthetized flesh. Surprisingly, soothing you and the affects of the tedious fruit. The comforting natural heat that resonated within Ace's bare chest also radiating a consoling graze of alleviation and endearment. Absentmindedly, lulling yourself closer into his firm, tender skin.

"...I hate you" you'd simply mumble, eyes darting away to meet with passing green of fully sprouted plants and bushes, the sound of distant animals and rushing water streams making the situation that much more easing and tolerable. Tranquil, even.

A gentle, toned chuckle wafts off from Ace's lips, his palms holding you that much more closer towards him, as he leaps carefully over a upcoming log in the midst of the open trail.

"You love me and you know it, without me life would be dull and stale for you, besides—" Ace kneels down from an approaching extended leaf branch, pushing it aside to ascend to a beautiful view of the current island you and the rest of the Whitebeard's crew were venturing on. The open vast space of the clashing ocean, the clear translucent view of the dazing sky and the ship that you now called your home, docked on to the nearest pier that nestled by a small town near by the shore. A gentle breeze caresses over the delicacy of your immobilized skin.

"You love going on adventures with me and you know it" he gazes down at you with one of his authentic, genuine goofy grins. Perfect, plush lips stretching into one of those heart melting smiles you could never resist.

You sigh in defeat, leaning your head against his warm chest "You're so lucky that I do love you...and your crazy adventures Ace" you hum softly, basking in the radiant heat coming off from his beautiful skin. He softly chuckles, leaning down to kiss the top of your head as he begins to venture down the hill you both stood upon.

"...Marco is going to kill me, isn't he?"

"Mmm, I won't let him kill kill you...maybe you'll get lucky and just get a BIG earful from him though"
