Injured (Jenni's Version): Future II
Grace Clinton x Reader
Alexia Putellas x Daughter!Reader
Summary: Your children meet Alexia
Tumblr media
"Mama!" Jaume complains," Leave my hair alone!"
Alexia stifles her laugh as Olga continues to rake her fingers through Jaume's hair. It had been a long fight between them about the length for years now.
Jaume liked it a bit longer while Olga preferred it to be clipped a bit shorter so it would stop falling into his eyes when he walked.
"I'm just making it neat."
"It's fine!"
Alexia sighs. "Can we go in now? The others are waiting."
It's a monthly tradition to meet up at Alexia's Mama's house with the rest of the extended family. This argument happened every time they pulled up.
Olga frowns at Jaume as he forces his hair back to how it was before, shaking her head. "Fine."
Alexia lets them all into the house, already knowing the party had migrated to the garden with the barbeque set up and beers already opened.
"Say hello to your Abuela first, Jaume," Alexia calls after him as her son rushes off to grab food," And tell her you love her!"
Jaume gives no indication that he hears her and he doesn't need to be reminded.
"He better be polite to his cousins," Alexia grumbles as Jaume makes a quick pitstop with Eli before hurrying to load up his plate.
"He will be. You know him."
Jaume's sweet really. A big softie but after playing a big match yesterday and sleeping most of the day away, it was stupid to get between him and food.
Alexia shakes her head fondly at her son before surveying the group. Her aunts and uncles and cousins are all there with their own kids. Alba's holding a baby that Alexia doesn't quite recognise.
There's a little boy running around as well that she doesn't recognise either and that's when Alexia spots you.
It's been years but Alexia would recognise you anywhere.
The last time she'd seen you, you were nearly seventeen, doing your last performance with your ballet company in Spain that Alexia had to secretly buy tickets to see.
You'd gone to England then for a year or two and last Alexia heard you were dancing in France.
You fondly look down at the little boy as he crashes into you, sweeping his messy hair out of his eyes before sending him on his way.
Alba passes the baby to you and you hold her so comfortably that she must be yours.
You have children...and Alexia didn't know at all.
"Ale?"
"I'm fine," She tells Olga, sucking in a deep breath and painting on a smile," I'm fine."
But she's not fine and she's even more not fine when an arm pulls you closer by your waist and you back easily into the body of Grace Clinton.
Grace Clinton who plays for Lyon in France and who Alexia knows there is only one reason for why she would be in Spain now.
She's your wife.
You have matching wedding bands and the boy looks up adoringly at her.
You have children with a woman who is at least a decade older than you...
You look happy though, smiling up at her sweetly as she pulls faces at the baby.
"Alexia!" Eli's voice snaps Alexia out of her daze. "You send your son to see me but can't even greet your old mother?"
"You're not that old, Mama," Alexia says, kissing Eli's cheeks," You look good for your age."
"The comfort of good food and family," Eli replies," Come, sit, eat. There is more than enough to go around. Knowing your uncle, I will be sending everyone home with seconds!"
Alexia sits, talks and laughs but her eyes keep travelling back to you and your little family.
You're on the other side of the garden, with your baby and your wife and one of Alexia's cousins fawning over her.
"Bisabuela!" The little boy appears suddenly and Alexia jolts. He looks like you but he's got Clinton's mannerisms even though there's a big train on his shirt.
"Ah, James!" Eli says," What can I do for you?"
"Mami has lost Livy's bag again!" He tells her," Do you know where it is?"
"I will take it," Eli says," I am overdue Olivia cuddles. Sit, eat some food, James."
The boy - James - climbs up onto Eli's now abandoned seat and tucks into some brisket. He devours it in a way that only a growing boy can.
"Are you related to my Mami?" He asks suddenly and his eyes are on Alexia's.
She winces. "Yes. I am."
"You look like her like how Alba does."
"I'm Alba's sister."
James nods. "My sister Livy's named after Alba. Olivia Alba."
Alexia forces a smile on her face. "That's nice."
"I'm named after Bisabuela, kind of. James Eliot but Mami and Mummy call me James Eli."
"That's nice," Alexia says," It's always important to honour family."
Her eyes drift over to Jaume, who looks torn between approaching you or hanging back. He's always had some kind of hero worship for you, his mysterious older sister who lived with Jenni. He's still got that now as he steels himself and slowly heads over.
"How are you related to my Mami then? I know Alba's Mami's Tia so are you her Tia too?"
"I'm Bambi's-"
"That's not my Mami's name," James interrupts," Not really anyway. Sometimes Abuela calls her that but she says it's a nickname."
Alexia's heart stops. She knows that Abuela must be Jenni and she isn't sure what she expected. Of course Abuela is Jenni. Of course Alexia isn't.
James has no idea who she is.
James has no idea who Alexia is...who Alexia was to you.
"What's your Mami's name then?" Alexia asks instead.
"Beautiful. That's what Mummy calls her. Mummy's name is Amor..." He frowns. "Or Idiot because that's what Mami calls her when she's angry."
"When I knew your Mami, everyone called her Bambi."
James nods. "Like the deer. Abuela made me watch that film when she looked after me and Livy last week."
"It's a good film, isn't it?"
"It is!" His plate is empty and he frowns. Alexia's plate is full and he reaches for some of hers.
"James," Grace Clinton says," What have I said about stealing food?"
James puffs out his cheeks. "But she's family! She's Mami's Tia! You said I'm allowed to if it's family!"
"I said no even if it is family!"
Alexia can feel the weight of Grace's gaze on her even as she banters with her son. Alexia can feel herself being sized up as Grace takes Eli's seat and places James on her lap.
James eats off Grace's plate as the two adults stare at each other.
Alexia played against Grace a few times when Grace was just starting her international career. She's older now, wiser and captain of the team that had beaten Barcelona in the Champion's League final two times in a row just a few years ago.
Grace Clinton is your wife.
She is the other mother of your children. Sweet, sweet James and Olivia, who is now being gently passed into an awestruck Jaume's arms.
Alexia settles on giving her an awkward smile.
"James," Grace says, tickling his tummy," Can you go share our plate with Mami? I'm sure she's hungry."
James goes off quickly and now it's just Alexia and Grace.
"I love my wife," Grace says suddenly," And I love my kids. Coming back here with them is a lot for her, you have to understand."
"I do."
"She wants them to know her family outside of just Jenni. She comes from Spain and she doesn't want them to not know that part of themselves."
"I get it."
"Good." Grace nods. There's silence for a moment before Grace quells Alexia's fears in one sentence. "She's happy."
Grace fades into the background then as more of the family appears around the table, conversations washing over her as Alexia catches up with her cousins.
It takes a while before you approach and Alexia holds her breath. You're holding your breath too as you perch on Grace's lap, desperately clutching your baby tighter to you.
It's stupid, you think. You should be over this. It happened so long ago. You're a different person now but seeing Alexia put you on edge, especially so near your children.
You had nearly burst into tears seeing her talking to James, halfway between running towards them and just collapsing. Grace had gone in your place but you were even more unnerved now, having little Livy so close.
Olivia couldn't care less though, making soft little noises as she sat happily in your arms.
You peck at your food, unease rolling in your stomach as you felt Alexia's gaze on your side profile.
Grace adjusts behind you, a soft kiss being pressed against the back of your ear.
"Half," She implores," Please, beautiful. It's hot today. You didn't eat much at breakfast."
You had always had a strange relationship with food. It ebbed and flowed when you were a teenager. It had changed again when you were pregnant, another little human relying you on to keep them healthy.
But, still, sometimes you struggle when you feel off.
You nod though, unable to deny your wife anything.
Grace's arm around your waist is warm and comforting. The smile you know she is sporting is comforting too, even though you can't see it.
You usually went to these alone, once a year, even after you'd given birth to James. Grace's Spanish wasn't the greatest and her accent made her speaking almost unintelligible sometimes but it was nice she was here to support you, to whisk you and the kids away the moment you wanted.
You turn your head, meeting Alexia's eyes.
She smiled awkwardly at you and you smiled even more awkwardly back.
"His shirt," She says, the first words she's spoken to you all afternoon," He likes trains?"
You look down bashfully. "He took more after me than we expected."
Alexia bites her lip, debating back and forth whether or not to continue. "How long are you staying?"
"Two weeks."
"I...I have some trains at home. Jaume is too old for them now. Would James-?"
You nod, a real smile appearing on your face. "He would like that, thank you."
You tilt towards Alexia, showing her Olivia more obviously.
You don't let her touch your baby. You don't want her touching either of your children. But you can stomach this, for now.
"This is Olivia," You say," She's nearly one."
"She's beautiful."
Grace grins behind you. "Just like my wife."

Hi, didn't know if your requests were still open but I was wondering if you could make a one shot for blue beetle. Spoilers but y'know how in the movie Khaji Da blatantly says whatever like emotional thing or physically thing is happening to Jaime? Kinda a one shot with that same concept where Khaji Da keeps telling Jaime what he's feeling or *feeling* towards the reader and the reader like asks Jaime what's up causs he keeps arguing with Khaji Da. It can me suggestive, smutty or fluffy, or all. All up to you! :)
Wing...A.I.? ➜ Jaime Reyes × Female!Reader
lol that end scene made me crack up with jenny
Warnings: friends to lovers, slight angst, smut, dry humping, blue balls/no finish
title is based off 'wingman' but because khaji da is an alien/a.i., it didn't feel right to say that, especially since im 90% sure khaji doesn't have a specific gender
Tumblr media
He was annoyed. As much as he loved Khaji Da for being there for him, it was days like these where he would groan and wished he never opened the box.
You had came over since he offered to binge watch the new season of one of the many shows you both watched together.
"I can feel your heartbeat has increased, Jaime." The alien A.I.'s voice echoed through his ear, making him groan. "Not now, Khaji!" He whisper yelled as you were in the kitchen grabbing bottles of water for the both of you. "It only happens when she's around."
"Stop!" You raise a brow as you hand him the bottle of water. "You alright?" He nodded and chugged the water, making you slightly confused. "Uh, okay..." Jaime gave you a forced smile before turning towards the TV and played the show. You rested your head on his shoulder making his breath hitch slightly. "Your breathing has increased, and your heart rate has increased even more." Jaime groaned. "¡Khaji, por favor!" (Khaji, please!) You looked at him, brows furrowed as you tilt your head to the side. "Jaime, what the hell is going on with you and Khaji Da?" He shook his head and cleared his throat. "Nothing..."
You gave him a look he knew too well; it was the look his mom gave him when he was in trouble. "Jaime..." he huffed out a breath and ran his fingers through his curls. "Khaji's been bugging me about...something." You frown. "Obviously, but what?" He sighed. "I can't tell you."
"Liar." Jaime rolls his eyes at their words. "I mean, I could, but I don't...want to tell you." You gasp and rest a hand on his shoulder, feigning shock. "What?" He chuckled, but his breath caught in his throat when your hand trailed down to his bicep. "Your blood is-"
"Shh!" You giggled at him. "What did she say?" He shook his head. "Nothing I don't already know." You sighed. "Just talk to me, Jaime. What's up?" He took a deep breath. "If I tell you, it could change our friendship..." You snort. "Don't tell me another alien A.I. crawled up your butt." He glared at you. "For the last time, it didn't crawl up my butt." You laughed and nod, pulling out your pinky. "I pinky promise it won't change our friendship." He hooked his pinky with yours and gave you a shy smile. "I-I like you, (Y/N)...but more than just a friend."
Your eyes went wide as you looked at him. "Oh." He gulped at your response, but quickly regained his composure when you leaned in. "For how long?" You asked. "For a while now actually..." he admits while his hand reaches over to touch your cheek. "Well, you and me both..." now it was his eyes that widened at your words. "Really?" You nod. "Jaime, just kiss her." Jaime chuckled at Khaji Da's words before leaning in to place a kiss on your lips. You giggled into the kiss before kissing him back. His thumb caressed your cheek as you both got lost into the kiss, your heart racing before you eased your way onto his lap. He moaned into the kiss as his hands trailed down to your hips.
You broke the kiss with a smirk that made him chuckle. "So Khaji Da's your little helper when it comes to relationships?" He laughed. "You could say that." You shook your head with a smile before kissing him again while his hands trailed up and down your sides. Your hands gripped his shirt as your tongue slid across his bottom lip. He opened his mouth, allowing you access and letting your tongues dance along each other. You both let out a satisfied moan before you moved your hips against his. He groaned into the kiss as his hands traveled down to your hips once more. Jaime couldn't help himself as he moved you both so that you were laying on the couch and he was on top of you.
"Are we moving too fast?" He asked against your lips. "We could stop if you want." He shook his head before pecking your lips. "We can keep doing this. I don't mind." You bite your lip as your eyes met his. Jaime moved his hips against yours, causing you to moan. He leaned down and began leaving a trail of kisses on your neck as he continued to grind on you. You tangled your fingers into his curls as you buck your hips against his. He moaned against your neck as he kept going. You were both so close. The moment was right there. He felt it and you felt it.
Then your phone rang, the ringtone that belonged to your mom echoed through the room. "You got to be kidding me." He groaned as he got off of you, letting you go to your phone and answering it. "You're frustrated." He chuckled as he caught his breath. "You have no idea, Khaji."

Helllooo!!!
I know we don't know much about jenny and Micah's relationship, only that they were involved with each other in black water, but i'd love to hear your thoughts on them and jenny's relationship with lenny!
You know, yesterday I was reading an argument about this in a tiktok comment, some said that Micah had raped her and someone else said "you can't asume he raped her because he has done other bad things!" which was interesting...
But I am going to asume that he probably did force himself due to what he said earlier in that convosation. "Why do we need a gaggle of girls who won't even fuck you if you put a gun to their head" "I am sure you have tried" "Is it too much to ask considering they get a bit of every dollar I bring in?"
There is also the fact that Micah canonly mixes up signals. He talks about how he likes Abigail and Morgan replies "I don't get the sense that the feeling is mutural" Micah's responds is "you just don't understand girls Morgan." Which is interesting considering that Abigail really does not like him. So if we give him just the tinest benefit of doubt, he might have thought it was consentual but I doubt it.
But I will also say, I am not sure that he had her at all. He is a man to brag, he isn't one to go quiet about any achievement, so the fact that he only mentions it then is a little suspecious, also because the only person who can confirm or deny the story is dead.
Either way, what does it mean for Lenny? Not much I believe, he doesn't know it happened (if it did at all), but should he learn it would absolutely break his heart and Morgan knows that as he tells Micah to not tell Lenny.
As for if Jenny liked Lenny, we don't know enough about it, we don't hear anything about the two interacting, only that Lenny liked her which could have been earning from afar. There is also the fact that Hosea uses their names for relationships that wouldn't have worked out, so yeah... It probably wouldn't.

Some headcanons featuring screenshots from my Sims 3 Strangetown game.
PT9 and Jenny met in 1985. Based on the Sims 2 memories, she found him drowning in the pool since he dived head-first into the shallow end. While everyone was running away in fear - she rescued him and fell in love at first sight. PT9 vowed loyalty to his savior and gifted her with knowledge about Sixam.
Jenny and Lyla were roommates until she married Buzz Grunt. She doesn't get Jenny's attraction to PT9 but she was supportive. Meanwhile, Jenny tried her hardest to break up Lyla and Buzz because she deserved so much better!
The Curious Brothers were forced to cut contact with Jenny since she 'betrayed' their father by marrying PT9 ( valid honestly - thinking about it makes my head hurt )
Pascal having Tycho brought the family back together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Glarn was an emotionally absent father who paid no attention to his kids. Pascal was Glarn's favorite which was why he went to private school. He was also responsible for looking after his younger brothers when they moved out.
6. Pascal is " Well achually" incarnate. He loves to talk about theories and science. Aliens and Astro physics are his hyper fixation
7. Vidcund and Lazlo spend their time joking about how Pascal takes himself way too seriously. They were best friends throughout school and Vidcund was the one who helped Lazlo get his degree.
8. Lazlo is a genius, he passed school with no effort because he was just that smart. Glarn didn't see his genius because he was too busy scolding him for being messy.
9. Lazlo takes Vidcund out to hang out with his friends and works overtime trying to set him up on dates so he can get over Circe.
10. The Curious Brothers weren't that close - and often butted heads but since Tycho was born they are closer than ever. ( UNTIL VIDUND SOLD TYCHO)
11. I know Vidcund was mind-controlled, but imagine if he wasn't. He's in serious debt and these blue aliens offered him like a billion dollars if he sold his nephew. The Dudes in Black wanted to run experiments on him idk.
12. Pascal never really recovered after his kid was stolen and was overly protective of Tycho. Tycho grew up anxious because of the overarching threat of being kidnapped again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
13. Olive Specter is not a serial killer (allegedly) - she just has really bad luck, but she kept up the bit so people would leave her alone! She is really superstitious because she's connected to the supernatural. She makes good luck charms and ensures that Ophelia is really cautious and wears all her charms.
14. Ophelia has a serious anxiety disorder - partially because Olive raised her to be scared of everything for her own safety. She makes sure Johnny and Ripp don't go under ladders, cross poles, or step on cracks. She gets really stressed out when Ripp makes dark jokes.
15. Olive was a good mom until she was wrongly accused of being unstable which led to her baby being taken away. She tried to get him back but there were too many roadblocks and Nervous was already given away.
16. She loves the Grim Reaper and longs for the day she can see him again. Her partygoer job entails her going to funeral memorials.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
17. Nervous met Annie Howell in foster care and they are really good friends to this day. He missed her because she was adopted by her older brother and left alone in the orphanage. 18. Nervous was a constant runaway and ended up in the Beaker's house as a teenager with the promise that he wouldn't have to go back to a group home. Unfortunate :(
19. I like how most people agree on how rude and not nice Nervous actually is. He's standoffish for good reason and gives Vidcund a lot of snark for being into Circe. He's chill with Lazlo though.
20. Nervous is the fun dad, and lets Tycho do whatever they want. Meanwhile, Pascal is pretty strict about his schooling ( which doesn't matter because Tycho has alien intelligence) and being safe. 21. Tycho grows up to follow in Pascal's astrophysics footsteps, mostly to build a ship and hunt down his Pollinator dad.

And finally, episode 8. This rewatch has been fun. It really forced me to pay attention to the details and I’ve found so many interesting thing I’d missed before. I think by now it’s more than safe to say that this has become one of my absolute favorite shows, and I can’t wait for my brain to insist I should watch it yet again.
Edwin's reaction feels so fair to me. I also did a double take the first time I saw Crystal swallow the memories. Love that Charles is trying to be supportive and stuff, but I agree with Edwin on this one. Those things are so big, how is your first instinct to swallow then whole?
Charles' face when Crystal is explaining her name is kind of similar to the one he has in episode 3 and 5 when Niko is doing something amusing. It's a mixture of endeared and a little baffled that I find so charming
Can Esther understand Monty in crow form or is she just pretending to have conversations with him like how you do with pets? Honestly, I'm not sure which one would be better. Both options have a lot of potential
Someone please give Crystal a hug. Or two. The way her voice breaks when she's talking to her parents, how her eyes get dimmer and dimmer the more she realizes that they suck and didn't miss her, how she sounds when she tells the boys about it, ugh. It breaks my heart
Back to another intro detail, but doesn't the surface of the mirror the skelletons go through kind of look like the mirror Charles sees himself in in episode 7. Like the frame is different, but the surface with the grid lines reminds me of the one in hell
I love the rooftop scene so much. Edwin and Niko have such a precious friendship and I wish we had even more of them interacting. Now I know I've seen people mention how Edwin is so comfortable with Niko's touch and how ge lets her cuddle up to him in that scene. But also, up until this point we haven't seen him truly iniciate touch with others (besides Charles) but he bumps Niko's shoulder when he's joking about Monty and offers her his hand to take. I just think that's neat
Crystal looks tiny next to Niko when they're talking to Jenny
"The whole thing was such a mystery" and "no rest for the wicked". The tone the officer uses for these lines? Chilling. I'm telling you, there's something weird about the people in town at times and the Port Townsend police are walking a line btween purposefully useless and downright sinister
There's something to be said about Crystal offering to wipe Jenny's memories, if she wants. We've followed her the whole season trying to get her own memories back, so it's huge that she's willing to take someone else's if that could help. Because she cares about Jenny, in that same, quiet way that Jenny cares about her and Niko. Also the way she emphasizes that she can take the memories only if Jenny wants that is actually so important to me
For some reason I always assume the girls are going to hold hands in that scene where they're looking for the Cat King and Crystal gives Niko her cleaver back. Even though this is the third time I watch it, I always expect it, and I'm always a little disappointed when all Crystal does is change what hand is holding her own cleaver
Not to question old dark magic or anything, but I am so curious as to how Esther's snake works. Did she already have the snake? Did she find it and make a pact with it? How does it transform little girls into youth for Esther? Also, the Cat King calls it Esther's snake, but then later on Esther says "I never thought I'd be eating kids to stay young and beautiful" so I don't know. Many questions about this
Tragic Mick makes a point of saying the bear figure is a gift and is on him, but the girls very much leave the store without paying for the salt so... Two gifts?
Niko keeps insisting she's not brave, but she was ready to charge into Esther's house after hearing Edwin's scream
Litty and Kingham's coats in the igloo have a dandelion decoration on the chest

Jenny Vi Pham and her game: Going live
TW: Suicide topic, mention of ED, manipulation, death
I know it's not Twitter or tik tok but I think people need to know about this. This post is mostly about Jenny's new game even if she didn't wait for this game to be problematic. Also, this post is about Jenny Vi Pham and only her the others did a great job and I hope they got a lot of money!
1) The story in general
In the first place, the story feels rushed, I'm not the best writer but you can tell that Jenny did not do her own recherche about anything for this game starting with how fast the guy gets followers for doing almost nothing to the hanging ending (I'm talking about this in a minute). The whole story is a mix of Needy Girl Overdose ( the fact he wants 1M in a week and he is helped by his partner) and DDLC for its "disturbing" ending. Ok, it's great you take inspiration for your game but it's so similar and made not in a great way that the game get's boring and cringe really fast. Talking about cringe PLEASE stop making the MC act like you and PLEASE stop making the whole game feel like a booktok comment section. Also to finish this first part the relationship between the MC and the guy. The whole time it just feels like the MC controls everything about this little white hair dude it just feels like I'm playing a toxic relationship simulator (talking about the fact that we aren't guiding him for a better streamer career but we are imposing him stuff like "ban her from modding" or even when he have to apologize and the MC literally choose for him and when he say "I don't think it's a great idea" the MC doesn't listen to him and force him). He has 0 personality unless "I'm gonna take my shirt off on stream and I love my girlfriend" is personality to you. Plus the fact that he is sexualized by everybody in the game is just so sad he kinda deserves better.
2)The hanging and homicide ending
Now let's talk about real problematic things. First, the hanging ending: so if you don't know he decides to kill himself because he got bullied on the internet cause he apparently hates people with cancer (omg I wish I wasn't serious rn). So yeah the whole reason why he did this is dumb and it explains why I think the story is rushed but you know maybe before he was mentally unstable and it was the event that finally broke him. Nope, he killed himself just like that, there is no indication that he is feeling bad, it just happened. The way she just killed him was disgusting. Suicide is a very serious topic, normally you get signals of those things,  this guy is not killing himself like that. It just feels like the ending was here to just shock people and it did I was shocked because it happened without warning, it was so out of place. I don't really get words to describe this scene cause the picture was very graphic kinda like DDLC but when you play it you know what is going to happen here no and maybe I act like snowflakes but you have to put warnings on those things. Same for the Homicide ending it kinda happened like the hanging ending out of pocket and was very graphic. After playing for a second time normally you get an interaction with the cat (introduced at the start of the story and then forgotten) AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HE SAID?? "yeah I can bring him back if you leave 5,000 rates on itch.io". This whole thing is just crazy to me, you killed him TWO times in the worst way possible (creepypasta writer got competition) and you ask for a good ending if they give good rates... Like what?? when do you think it's ok? You are using his death and his suicide as a way to get reviews and you think it's normal?
3) Her fans and her
(here some of the information came from Elduator on Twitter)
So after being shocked about the game I decided to read some reviews and saw people talking about her Twitter. It keeps getting worse. First, the way she mocks her fans is crazy it kinda reminds me of that fan/creator relationship in the Vtuber community "you're a clown to me and you like" type of relation she got with her fans. (some proof)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the first tweet, she is making her fans looks like fools it's obviously a way to encourage them to give more reviews and that's so weird "he needs you" This is just pure manipulation knowing that her fans are probably young people it just making it worse. Kinda the type of manipulation in the second tweet ngl but here she is bringing her team which kinda tells us that some of her team workers support her way of acting.
Tumblr media
this message speaks for itself, disgusting.
She also makes those kind of tweets here again just pure manipulation and making rates on someone suicide
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here a compilation of some very weird tweet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The worst is literally the ED joke like what the hell?? and no one said anything it's so problematic in so many levels. Also again the hypersexualisation of her characters but sadly it's something normal on her twitter.
Let's talk about her fans cause they are also CRAZY. They encourage the hypersexualization of her characters, create fake accounts to make more reviews (which get obviously deleted) and are also encouraged by Jenny. They are also a bunch of creeps in general on itch.io or the discord server (proof from Elduator on Twitter)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(i can't fixe the bad quality so look here for better quality)
Ok, I think I said everything I'm thinking about posting it on twitter but someone already did so idk
bye!! XX

sending this ask because i want for all the tkkrs who lurk here to see me debunk all their previous and new narratives;
1) "taekook was real" no it wasn't. yall pretended that they were real for years and got slammed thrice, first when tae replied "you'd better get out of the imagination, it's not good in there" to a taekooker on weverse telling him to look at jk's photos whom he loves before going to sleep.
then it was in ITS1 when taekook admitted to having drifted apart when yall spent years making up excuses for why they aren't behaving like you wanted them to, saying that the company is forcing them to hide.
then yall spent every waking moment of 2023 repeatedly using the "taekook are finally free in this solo era and they're coming out to let everyone know that they're together. the company doesn't control them anymore." narrative. then BOOM, taennie got caught.
2) "taehyung is being punished for being loud about him and jungkook so he was forced to get into a fake PR fan service relationship"
a) nothing about taennie is fan service. their fans hate each other and blinks hate taehyung, armys hate jennie. which fans are they servicing?
b) this taennie thing has been going around since late 2021 when tae accidentally followed her on Instagram. it's not a recent thing that hybe chose as a coverup for TK.
c) i thought tkkrs took pride in taehyung never bowing to the company? i thought only jk was the helpless puppet forced into a fake relationship with jimin? i thought that's why hybe were easily able to make jk delete his IG account but couldn't force taehyung? now tae is a puppet too?
d) accusing tae of doing fan service? the same insulting crap you attached to jimin all these years? tkkrs are now tae antis as well?
3) "it's the lookalike" no it's not. he's in Seoul amidst of this controversy. and it was never him at all. other than the fact that he denied being the one in the pictures, and him having a girlfriend, all those pictures that were leaked last year that yall spent hours insulting every part of tae's body in vain effort to prove it isn't him backfired badly for you today. i saw tkkrs calling tae in today's pictures "musty, white, ugly, with a moustache, flat assed" and a whole bunch of other bullshit just for clear pictures to come out later proving it was indeed taehyung.
4) "it still doesn't prove that jikook is real" no one said that. we're here to talk about how yall spent years moving like a cult, twisting reality at every turn of events that didn't fit you little bubble, and dragged jimin for YEARSSS accusing him of all kind of shit but most importantly is how yall accused him of oppressing your precious taekook, yall accused him of trying to steal jungkook from taehyung when jk was never tae's in the first place. yall accused jimin of being a bad friend to tae for being all over his man when tae was dating a woman this whole time. THIS is why jikookers/pjms are gloating rn. because we've been waiting for jimin to be freed of your narratives for years. we've tried talking it out with you using logic MANY times, that your ship isn't real and taekook are just close friends, that you shouldn't drag an innocent man in the sake of theory that could very well turn out false at any day. but yall didn't listen, yall left no place for doubt in your minds and were so adamant that taekook is real and didn't matter to you what horrible shit you said about jimin, even jk in the process. yall accused jk of being a cheater, accused him of being toxic and riling tae up on purpose to make him jealous, accused of enjoying fan service with jimin too much, got mad at him for never doing things for tae that he did for jimin, etc. all of this shit can't and won't be erased in one day. now you have jjks, pjms, and jikookers all celebrating and they will make your lives HELL like you made ours and our idols’.
i'm just gonna end this with saying that this was a long time coming, and taekook were never going to scare me even if tae and jk kept their private lives private forever. even if taennie was never confirmed, taekook would still be as much as a lie as they've always been. no amount of theories, lies, manipulation, and gaslighting would've made that ship sail. and anyone with a half brain could see from a mile away that taekook are just great friends, nothing more. except for taekookers, yall st yourselves up long ago when you started shipping them based on aesthetic, potential and popularity, and now you're been bitch slapped by reality and your bubble finally burst. i can't say i told you so but I told you so.
They can’t get it and they can’t see it, because delusion is a mental disorder defined as:
false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everybody else believes and despite what constitued incontrovertible and obvious proof for evidence to the contrary.

how would rdr1 change if everyone survived? If the gang still fell apart and John was still forced to hunt down his associates, what would happen now that there were more to hunt?
cracks my fingers if EVERYONE survived? oops i hit the tumblr word count who knew that was a thing
The list John has to hunt down is heavily based on notoriety. Assuming Charles, Sadie, Pearson, Orville, Mary-Beth and Tilly were still alive in rdr1 - Ross only tasked him with hunting down the members of the gang still considered the scourge of society.
His new list includes: Mac and Davey Callander, Sean Macguire, Karen Jones, Hosea Matthews, Bill Williamson, Leopold Strauss, Josiah Trelawney, Micah Bell, Dutch van der Linde, and Arthur Morgan. Javier has been considered MIA since Beaver Hollow, and never resurfaced in Mexico (to John's heartbreak, who was very in love with Javier and genuinely believes he is dead).
In hunting down the old gang, he incidentally runs into a lot of the former gang members while looking for the rest.
Lenny took Hosea's advice, and with a forceful shove from Arthur, took off before the shootout at Beaver Hollow and became a lawyer. John goes to him first to try and get his family back legally without needing to hunt down the gang - no dice. But Jenny's looking well! She eventually agreed to Lenny's constant 'please, please, please, please-', and they're very happy together. Very modern marriage for the time period: she's technically his receptionist, but does PI work when he's stuck on a case.
Davey's the first target John locates. Despite being injured, he ran off in Colter to try and find Mac. While missing the plot of rdr2, he built up a decent gang of morons for himself. Easily taking enough out to send the last few running, John tries to insist he can take Davey in alive. Davey refuses, and they end up in a stand-off that John effortlessly wins. One down.
Pearson (for entirely selfish reasons - their coach robberies are driving up prices) gives John a tip that Karen and Sean are believed to be hiding out in a shack somewhere in Lemoyne. Despite them putting up a hell of a fight, with many fire bottles involved, he's able to take both alive. Sean's already contacted Lenny to try and avoid the noose, and Karen's going to play the helpless little lady at the whims of a madman to escape charges. The bureau is forced to be a bit more law abiding than the pinkertons, so John is cautiously optimistic they'll actually be okay.
Next, he finds Strauss running a scam in the slums of Saint Denis. Strauss surrenders much more easily, due to not understanding how many of his crimes have been traced back to him: if he doesn't hang, he'll die in jail anyway.
In Saint Denis he also bumps into Tilly, who merrily invites him over for dinner. Grimshaw, and shockingly, Molly, are there: employed by the Pierres as nannies. Tilly already heard from Arthur about him hunting down the gang, but is surprisingly supportive Only because if it was her family, she would do the same. Despite knowing Arthur is on the list, she gives him a very stern younger sibling talk about not visiting him in over a decade. John makes a lazy excuse.
Next comes Trelawney. John expects the old con to come quietly, but instead ends up in a shootout with his sons Tarquin and Cornelius. Bandits in their own right, they're not willing to let their last surviving parent surrender. John, regrettably, ends up killing both to save his own skin. Trelawney is left broken, and says he will turn himself in if John gives him the chance to bury his children himself. John agrees.
In Valentine he runs into a delighted novellist Mary-Beth and significantly less delighted Kieran, working at the stables. Kieran actually stayed in Beaver Hollow after Mary-Beth left, and helped John escape at Arthur's insistence when Arthur thought he wasn't going to get off the mountain. They advise him to go west if he wants to find Bill, who Kieran still dislikes more than John.
Bill's gang isn't nearly as terrifying as it is in rdr1: a small band of deviants (read: homosexuals forced to become criminals because society wouldn't let them to live in peace). Bill still shoots John, and he ends up at the MacFarlane's ranch.
Where he hears a familiar voice - and finds out Javier is still alive and has been working for the MacFarlane's as a vaquero. Javier is incredibly bitter about how the VDLs ended and shows nothing but resentment for John for abandoning Dutch, and hunting the gang down all these years later.
It's romantic tension, fellas. Obviously they end up having sex before Javier agrees to help John find whoever's left - so John can go back to 'playing happy little family' and leave him the hell alone.
The two of them are more than enough to wipe out Bill's gang. In the back room, they find Bill very softly patting Mac Callander's hand, explaining he's got to 'go away for a bit'. Mac survived his encounter with the pinkertons in 1899, but was left with severe brain injuries and Bill had secretly been caring for him ever since. Bill agrees to surrender, only for Javier to shoot him realizing Bill had a trigger in his hand and enough dynamite to leave Fort Mercer a smoldering crater.
They take Mac to a hospital, where he can live comfortably for however long he has left. John tells the bureau he died in the shootout.
Following the natural progression, they find Hosea living in the little cottage he once shared with Bessie. Age has not been kind to him, but he's delighted to see John, and even more delighted to see John and Javier riding together again. Without a word of protest, Hosea packs his bag and comes willingly. It's a few days' travel to the nearest station: they pitch tents around a campfire, drink and tell stories just like the old days. Hosea convinces Javier to play guitar again. But the ride proves too much, and Hosea passes away in his sleep. John very quietly hands over his body over.
Dutch and Micah are next. They have been riding together ever since Beaver Hollow: completely unhinged. Typical rdr1 Dutch behavior but worse, encouraged by Micah who is as conniving and vile as ever. Javier is shot non-fatally by Micah, John kills Micah with no remorse, and Dutch, cornered again, still jumps to his death.
Javier has to stay in hospital, leaving John to face the last surviving VDL alone.
John rides up to the tiny, falling apart house with two wooden crosses in the yard and a third grave pre-dug. Arthur greets him at the door and welcomes him inside as warmly as a social call. John agrees, but keeps some distance between himself and the figure he's meant to recognize as his brother.
Despite surviving his first brush with TB-induced pneumonia, Arthur still very much has TB. He's grotesquely, sickly thin, with blemishes and sores over his skin. His arms shake with the effort of pouring a cup of coffee. As much as he was in love with Charles, he wouldn't let himself risk making Charles sick too. His voice cracks with the chronic dryness of coughing, but also disuse. Other than his horse, and the occasional visit from Sadie or Tilly, or Hosea when the old man could still travel, he's been completely alone.
Before he lets himself be turned in, Arthur asks him how he's been. They just talk: mostly about John, about Abigail and how Jack's doing, whether he's thinking about colleges or following his 'pa' into ranching. He tells Arthur about how the ones who got out are going: Pearson's shop, about Tilly's children, Mary-Beth and Kieran, Javier, that he heard Swanson's in New York. Arthur tells him Charles still writes, that he's happy in Canada, and still helps Rains Fall.
John stays the night. In the morning, Arthur says his good-bye to Eliza, and Isaac. He mounts his horse for the last time, and follows John to where Ross is waiting. The bureau, visibly disgusted at the sight of him, alow Arthur to climb into the back of the car himself. Arthur says it was nice seeing John after all these years.
Abigail and Jack have been released, and are waiting at Beecher's Hope.
The bureau decide to make good on their promise and leave him be. Honestly, they just forgot about him. Sean doesn't escape the noose. Despite Tilly trying to help her after her release, Karen drinks herself to death with grief. Josiah, with nothing left to lose, accepts his execution with relief. It only takes a month in prison for Strauss to ask to be hanged instead.
Javier comes to Beecher's Hope for work for a bit, before it hurts too much seeing John with Abigail and heads back to the MacFarlane's. John tries to visit, but Javier insists they go separate ways.
And the only time Abigail has ever seen her husband cry is reading a tiny article that announced Arthur Morgan died of natural causes in prison.

Episode 6 Thoughts:
. James and Helen always have me in tears. Everything in this episode was brilliantly acted. Honestly, I've been so distracted by Tristan's problems this season that I didn't anticipate James' breakdown. I don't know if this was the writer's intention or whether it's because of who my favourites are lol. Either way, James' storyline gave some much needed closure to the psychological impact that the war has had on him. I don't know how long Brucellosis lasts, but I hope he doesn't have any more bouts. I have a feeling this won't be the last repercussion of James' trauma.
. Helen was a trooper in this episode: Caring for James, making sure Jimmy was being looked after, and being there for Audrey and Mrs Pumphrey. Her partnership with James evolves each series, and this experience brought them closer.
. Audrey held everyone together as always and I love how she has a solution for everything. She knew that sending Tristan to help Siegfried would force them to talk properly, and she was proven right.
. I like the dynamic that Mrs Pumphrey has with everyone at Skeldale house. It was fitting how she recognised James' symptoms, having cared for her late husband when he was ill. On a side note, it's cute how well Tricki settles in with the other pups.
. Siegfried walking dirt into the house, then proceeding to stand over the baby triggered me.
. The Farnon brothers were so funny in this episode. I enjoyed their escapade, as well as their moments of tenderness. The two of them definitely needed time alone together to bond after being apart for so long. They can't stand each other but also can't live without each other.
. I was hoping we would learn more about Tristan's war stories in this series. We still don't know exactly what he experienced in Egypt, good or bad. I thought Tristan had been acting strange since his return so I assumed he was hiding something (or maybe it's just me...) One thing he did reveal in this episode was that he got "lucky." Maybe he just feels out of place compared to Siegfried, who had a very traumatic war. At the same time, Tristan has lied and masked his feelings in the past. Therefore, it wouldn't be out of character if he hasn't been completely open with people. I think this could either be elaborated on in the future or left open to interpretation.
. I don't know if Siegfried and Mrs Grantly will become an item at this stage. If they do, I think it will be a temporary thing like Audrey and Gerald. Because of the fact that Mrs Grantly didn't appear in the finale, it doesn't seem like the writers are setting up anything substantial.
. I expected to see a bit more of Mr Alderson and Jenny in season 5. Fingers crossed they'll get more screen time in the Christmas special. I want to know whether Jenny decides to leave home or not, and how Mr Alderson would manage without her.
This technically isn't the series finale because of the CS, but it's still the end of a chapter. Carmody has left for London, James has opened up to Helen, Audrey is playing her part in the war effort, and the Farnon brother's dynamic keeps developing.
I've really loved this series- the biggest treat seeing the whole cast back together. There has been some discourse about the execution of this season, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Series 5 has left more questions than answers regarding the characters, but I think this is likely a set up for the CS and series 6.

MR. LOVERMAN
Chapter 5
chapter 4 | chapter 6 | series masterlist | page masterlist
warnings — strong language
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The weekend didn't give Pedro nearly enough time to process what happened—however, life moves on. He can't not show up to work because of romance troubles amongst staff, though he certainly thought about it.
Pedro wonders if seeing you would bring up any emotions; he hopes not but knows that realistically they will. He had a panic attack in your classroom because he told you he's scared to have a crush on you—that's not something you get over in just two days. He figures he just has to avoid your gaze and stay in his room while you're in the hallway; it's not like he wasn't doing that anyway.
He hopes you try talking to him, though. He's curious to know if your relationship was on the mend, or if he lost you. He hopes he didn't, but he understands if he did.
He's walking down the quiet, empty hallways of the school. He loves when the school is like this—empty, and quiet, with no students, and most of the staff isn't there. It feels nice not having to keep a smile on his face and act like all is fine for once. Even if it's for a short period of time. Shorter than he had hoped because he heard his name being called from down the hall. He lets himself get his hopes up, that it's you, and the two of you would walk to your respective classrooms like nothing ever happened. Though nothing in life is that simple, and when he turns, he sees Jenny rushing to catch up with him. He forces a smile, “Hi, Jen. He says once she caught up, you feelin' okay?”
She pants, “Yeah,” she stands normally in front of him. “How are you? I heard that there's some…problems–” she's not sure how to word it, and Pedro doesn't want to talk about it in the middle of the hallway. “I'm fine.” he says, “No problems.” Honestly the fact that it was going around the school already – like you and Pedro were some sort of object to be observed by everyone else, and for her to confront him about it in the middle of the hall. He thinks back to something you told him when you first met – sometimes we’re no better than the students – Jenny hums, “That's good, I’m glad.” She fixes her bag over her shoulder before she speaks again. “Can I ask you a favor? I have a shit ton of art supplies in my car that I need to get into my classroom. It would take me so long if I do it alone, could you help me out?” He hesitates, but he thinks that perhaps he judges Jenny too soon. “Sure,” he says, “Let me put my stuff in my room and I’ll be right back down.”
That was only the beginning.
Pedro found himself in situations more often with Jenny around, she would come to his room for lunch, they could talk comfortably about problems. Jenny is very nice – but she's not you. He can’t get past that, no matter how hard she tries. The two of them hang out after school sometimes and she always sits herself just a hair too close to him, he never says anything. He just silently allows it, because he thinks that maybe this is the way to get over you. He thinks that if he moves on that all his problems will wash away. Maybe you don’t even notice what's going on.
You definitely notice, though.
The way Jennys hand lingers on his arm for too long, the way he goes quiet when you enter the room. You see her going into his room every day during lunch and leaving just before the students come back, you’re not stupid. She’s liked him from the very beginning, and you’re out of the picture. It was only a matter of time before this happened, still, it hurt like hell.
He was never yours, you were never his – but still, you liked to think about what could’ve been, maybe you were too harsh, or things were moving too fast. What's stopping you from being friends with him? He was still so valuable to you, but you couldn’t bring yourself to walk across the hall to see him. Even if you did, you knew Jenny would be there, and you really didn’t want to see her.
You had no reason to be mad at her in this situation, really, she saw an opportunity and she took it. You would’ve done the same thing if the roles were reversed. He was just a stupid guy that you were getting worked up about, like some teenager who watched her crush get with someone else. Still, you wonder if he even thinks about you anymore, if he wonders how you are, if even for a moment he thinks about coming into your classroom too. Sam notices you staring in the direction of his classroom for a second too long, and snaps their fingers to bring your attention back. “Y/N!”
“Sorry,” you say, turning your chair to face them again. “What were you talking about?” Sam only gives you a blank face, putting their lunch down on the end of your desk. “Y/N, you have to get over him.” They say it like it's so simple, and this, admittedly, annoys you just a little. “It's not that simple, it's like if I told you to get over Jae.”
“It is absolutely not the same thing!”
“How?!”
“Jae and I have been married. For three years!”
You scowl, they have a point there, but still, you put the rest of the food in your mini fridge. You decide to take the rest of the conversation back to Pedro. “It's just hard, you know, I’m not just losing the guy I had a crush on, I’m losing a friend.” To that, Sam feels for you. You had been there when Sam was going through their men, too, they know how it feels. “I know,” they say quietly. “But you know, maybe this is for the best. He’s a bundle of hurt, a package you don’t need right now.” Still, you can’t help but think about what could’ve been.
It could’ve been you, Pedro, and Sam. Laughing and making stupid jokes. It could’ve been you and Pedro hanging out at his apartment watching stupid movies, talking about your day, students.
It’s not that you don’t value your time with Sam, you love them dearly. It's just that, you missed that extra presence, you missed the new person in your circle. Now you don’t have that, and you know the other teachers know what happened. Because they give you this sympathetic look when they ask how you are, and they suck their breath in whenever Pedro’s nearby. For teachers, they’re not very discreet people. They treat you now like even saying his name will cause you to burst, you hate it. You just want things back to normal, sometimes you wished that Pedro never came here. It would be easier if he just never moved into your district, never into the classroom across from you. Life would be easier if he just asked someone else for help on printing things, it wouldn’t be as fun though. Maybe it's your age, if you're older this could’ve worked. Or like Pedro said, if you met sooner.
“Still.” you say in response to Sam, “It hurts, but I’ll get over it you just have to give me time.”
Tumblr media
Jenny invites Pedro over on friday night, and he accepts the offer, it beats sitting in his apartment alone. They don’t do much, or talk about a lot, they just sit and watch Young Sheldon – which wouldn’t be his first choice, but it was the only thing that was on that they could agree on.
She’s almost on top of him, their legs touching, and she's leaning awfully close to him. Still, he doesn’t say anything, he places his arms across the top of the couch – almost welcoming it in. When it cuts to commercial, she finally speaks. “I would hate to have a student like him.” Pedro raises his eyebrows, “Really? I think it would be interesting, hearing what he has to say. I guess he is condescending, though.” he replies, “I don’t necessarily want to say I would hate to have a student that acts a certain way, he clearly doesn’t see how he's hurting their feelings.” She shrugs, slowly pushing herself away from him to get up. “Still. I would’ve gotten so frustrated.”
“Well,” he smiles, to show that he teases. “Good thing you’re an art teacher. I would be screwed. Science n’ all.” Jenny nods, “I guess so.. I’m going to get a glass of water, do you want any?”
He shakes his head, “I’m good.” and when she disappears into the kitchen – he can’t help but glance around. He notices a few things, a coloring book on her glass coffee table, a stack of student artwork that he assumes is to-be-graded, and lastly, a staff photo that was taken just a year before he started working at the school.
He gently picks it up, looking around at the familiar faces. But his eyes are drawn to you.
You're smiling widely, you and Sam have your arms around each other, the top you’re wearing looks nice on you, and he knows he's seen it on you a couple times. His heart pangs a bit, he misses you. No matter how much time he spends here, he can't deny that. He notices the dip in the couch from Jenny placing herself next to him, just as close as before. “I look so stupid in that photo,” she laughs, assuming that he was looking at her. He quickly scans for her to avoid making this awkward. Jenny sticks out like a sore thumb, she's in the front of the stand and she wasn’t ready for the photo because she was barely in her spot. “I was the one taking the photo, so I had to rush into the spot.”
He hums, “You look fine.”
Just fine she thinks, but she’ll take it. “So, I heard Y/N and Sam talking today, they were talking about you a lot.” This gets his attention, a lot more than what she had hoped for when she brought up the conversation. She hates the hold you still have him, she just wishes you could fucking let go already. He doesn’t say anything, so she continues. “Sam was tellin’ her that she needs to get over you, that you’re not worth all this time.”
That alone fills Pedro’s heart with this excitement, this sense of hope that he needed – but he's careful not to show it. He sucks in a breath, putting the photo down, he feels her hand slowly slide up his hand. This is the first time she actually physically touched him. He tenses at the touch, not expecting it. “If you ask me, she ought to let this go at some point. You know, she can be such a bitch. I mean she made you feel like shit and now she wants to act like–”
He isn’t sure what it is, but he feels an anger bubble inside him, and he whips around, lightly smacking her hand off of him. “Don’t you fucking talk about her like that.” he didn’t realize he raised his voice, his nostrils flare and he glares at her. This surprises her, her jaw is slack and her eyebrows raise slightly. Normally, Pedro would apologize for raising his voice in such a manner, but he doesn’t. “She didn’t hurt you. You have no fuckin’ right to talk about her like that.”
You’re in your apartment, you've got your headphones in listening to You’re On Your Own, Kid, by Taylor Swift. Cleaning up around your kitchen. Your music goes quiet in your headphones, and you notice an incoming call from Pedro. You pause, you even feel your body freeze unsure what to do. If Sam were here, they would advise you not to answer it, but then you think – what if it’s an emergency? If it's an emergency – why doesn’t he just call Jenny?
The pair stare at each other for a moment, and suddenly he stands. She doesn’t protest him, her eyes just follow his movements as he frantically looks for and grabs his coat, throwing it on. “Thank you for your hospitality,” he says quietly, “but I think I should get going now.”
But then your heart pangs, if he isn’t calling Jenny, maybe it's because he thought of you first. You disconnect your headphones and slide the green button.
“Hello?”

Jeremiah didn't even cheat lol (Not saying that's what you were saying just what those shippers always claim lmao) That still isn't right but JH did that to make Jeremiah look bad I don't consider Book 3 canon felt more like a bonrad fanfic by a ghostwriter the writing wasn't that good either like Belly finally moved on I forget one of the quotes but it was like actions matter more than intent then she ends up with Conrad in the last chapter? No for me but I do find it funny Belly could only say one sentence about conrad (even though some of what she said were lies he wasn't her only love) to be honest I don't think Belly loved Conrad it was more of an obsession of who she thought he was not who he really was. Now if Jenny changes I will be so excited I don't think I can watch season 3 until I know how it ends if it goes by the books won't consider that canon either it doesn't make sense because now they did what the books never did where Belly knows how conrad feels I think their relationship is gone for good only way for it to happen is being forced. JH did say she might change the ending she was shipping Jelly after Book 2 if she's not then that sucks especially after they gave a lot of Jere's story to Conrad to make him likable even though he's still a douche. bonrad's personalities don't match it will never work for them I always thought even in Book 3 they would get divorced in less than a week lol. I made this ask too long sorry about that I love talking about this show and ship they're perfect to me <3
I recently put her description of both fisher boys if you haven't read them. Agree about book 3. I can't even finish it, because it sounds so bonrad fanfiction fr.
About Jenny Han saying she might change the ending. I hope she does. I hope she doesn't say this just for views. I can't even imagine how they gonna make bonrad relatable and passionate after jelly scenes? Like, I literally can't see anything in Conrad's eyes, which would make kinda a little bit sympathetic towards bonrad. Maybe it's the acting that might be bad, or I just hate their relationship. But THE WAY JEREMIAH LOOKS AT HER? IT FEELS LIKE THE WORLD STOPPED AND THE EXPRESSION IN HIS EYES OMG. THAT IS TRUE LOVE, THE SWEETNESS IN HIS EYES, THE LOVE IN HIS EYES, SUPPORT IN HIS EYES, KINDNESS IN.HIS EYES. HIS EYES SAYING I AM ALWAYS GONNA BE BY YOUR SIDE AND YOU ARE THE ONLY GIRL FOR ME THAT EXISTS. I COULD NEVER LOOK AT ANOTHER GIRL BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONE FOR ME!!!

Bart sees ghosts. And no, I don't mean that in the aspect of some sort of supernatural ability that only he has. I'm talking about his unique experience of being time-displaced.
From his time period of origin, his grandfather is dead, his friends are dead, all he has left are Meloni and Iris. Jenni is hardly ever in his time period despite being a few chronological months older than him.
His attachments to people are so different than what is "normal" because of this. He knows his grandfather doesn't live to see him be born let alone see Don grow up. Don died when he was an infant... And although Barry is alive and exists in the time period he now calls home, they rarely get to spend time together, and Bart knows that time will eventually come to an end.
Everyone that Bart knows in a way is a ghost to him, nothing more than a reflection of something that can only exist in those periods.
Like all his friends (Tim, Conner, Cassie, Grant, etc.) are long gone by the time he's born. The only reason they became friends is because he's been deliberately placed in that time. Then there's his mom. She doesn't even exist yet and she can't come back and forth to visit him or even stay in his time, and in a way he's forced to grieve the relationship he'll never have with her. So in a way he's so v alienated from his blood relatives in a way that the other flashfam members can't understand. The only person who can truly relate to the isolation from his birth family is Malcolm Thawne but he can't relate to the time displacement or how Bart chooses to navigate this strange displacement. So in a lot of ways as a Thawne he experiences this sort of curse where they are doomed to be isolated from people who would otherwise want to love them. Except he's isolated from them too bc the Thawnes' hatred of the Allens's keeps them from ever truly accepting him. So on top of time displacement AND age displacement he's both Thawne and Allen and neither Thawne nor Allen at the same time.
Especially if you look at the time Linda was ?erased? or disappeared from the timeline and he was the only one who remembered her. Like imagine how that shaped the way he thinks of people during this crucial time where his brain is developing.
His adolescent mind already has to function completely different from everyone in his physiological age group and now he has to either block out or accept the fact that no matter what time he exists in he will always have "ghosts".

ok so I have watched Riverdale and I have Thoughts about the bones of a gossip girl Riverdale AU but not necessarily about the plot. (GG was one of the first things to premiere after the rebrand from the WB (beat only by a show that lasted 8 episodes) and Riverdale is the last thing to go before it becomes a more "adult oriented" channel so it's fascinating to compare the 2)
Riverdale has a reputation for being "oh crazy weird show!!" (earned) but like... despite the escalating drama, the characters aren't really allowed to grow or change (or be fleshed out at all) they stay more or less the same one dimensional stereotypes for seasons 1-6 (season 7 is an alternate timeline it's a whole thing.) like I genuinely cannot place the plot of each season in order bc the characters aren't allowed to be affected by their experiences
(which is also exemplified by having them stay in high school forever, as opposed to the GG route of having them ignore their educations and pretend to be adults)
(I could go on a tangent here about how TV has gotten more serialized as technology develops. like early TV you watched when you could and things went into syndication so you had to be able to watch any episode out of context. but with streaming everything is binged. so stories can take multiple episodes and characters can change)
but GG and Riverdale arent streaming shows so the characters stay perpetually stuck in these cycles of Big Stories that Take Time but characters don't grow
we could also talk about narration and the story within the story. bc Riverdale is presented as a book that jughead is writing about his friends and gossip girl is being told to us by Dan (who also ends up writing a book about his friends.) the dark underbelly if Riverdale is the focus of the show vs the UES being more and more idealized as the show goes on
BUT!! I do also have plot thoughts!!!!
starting with the obvious. Riverdale stole the Derena/Rufly/Scott Rosson thing! but they took it a step further by having both couples dating, living in the same house, and having the love child move in! (then they revealed the guy who moved in wasn't their son at all but an imposter (and a serial killer! don't worry he marries the real illegitimate son!) Gossip Girl should've done this
Blair would start a cult predicated on her being the reincarnation of Audrey Hepburn. Serena (the most cult susceptible) would be a full fledged believer and a recruiter until she and Blair had that same fight about attention they always do then Serena would team up with recent-cult-escapee Jenny to take her down
Chuck would get involved with Carter Baizen's dog fighting ring for 2 episodes, but stop when he gets yelled at by his mom's ghost while high on psychedelics he got from Nate's drug dealer. a season later Chuck would do a seance and have the ghosts of his parents possess Jenny and Eric and force them to get married in some convoluted scheme to tax insurance fraud. they would stay possessed until Jonathan (upset Eric dumped him over text) showed up at the penthouse and was like "this is clearly not jenny and Eric" but nobody believes him so he has to exorcise them himself with a song (Riverdale would stop episodes for 3 minutes at a time so characters could sing, so be glad this song moves the plot forward)
Vanessa, while making a documentary, stumbles upon a society of mole men who hold her hostage bc she knows their secret. they let her send Dan a letter and she uses a secret code they made as kids to tell him where she is. he goes to rescue her but in the time it took she became queen of the mole people and now needs to be convinced to come home (again through song)
Nate is descended from serial killer HH Holmes. he Googles if that can be genetic and that's how we learn about the serial killer gene. he's relieved he doesn't have it but he makes all his friends do the DNA test and falls into a guilt spiral when it turns out that Serena does (she doesn't really care)
Dan, doing research for his book, finds out Lily had a girlfriend in highschool that she lost touch with, and reaches out to her. said girlfriend initially refuses to appear but changes her mind and arrives the night before the rufly wedding and tells drunkenly Nate the story of the body she and Lily hid one night. Nate (in the middle of his guilt spiral) tells Serena this story in an effort to get her to see the the effects of the serial killer gene
Rufus spends the entire show making waffles and getting divorced
This is my favourite thing in the world. This deserves to be written and filmed. Mwah!! chef's kiss. THANK YOUUU

Blue Beetle (2023)
Blue Beetle reminds me mostly of the first Amazing Spider-Man movie. It's not capital-B bad, but it could be a lot better. Part of it is that Angel Manuel Soto, like Marc Webb, simply isn't a cinematic genius like Sam Raimi.
Another is that the adaptation changes a lot of the source material, not to make it more interesting or anything, but to make it MORE generic. The plot is almost exactly like Ant-Man, for fuck's sake.
OG hero used to run a benevolent corporation, but he's been forced out by the villain, who wants to use his tech for military purposes (wait, wouldn't that mean we'd be sending all that evil military technology over to Ukraine to help fight Putin? I guess we're not supposed to think about that.) Legacy hero stumbles into the OG hero's tech and gets help from OG hero's daughter to take back the corporation. There's similar wholesale plagiarism from the Iron Man and Spider-Man movies (how many missiles are there that have manufacturer logos on them, really?).
Another weirdness is that in the comics, Jaime actually has friends. In the movie, the only people he ever talks to are his family, his love interest, and the villains (which doesn't stop the movie from doing a THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY epilogue--yeah, where were you guys when the Reyes family was getting their shit pushed in on the front lawn?). It's odd to think nerdy loser Peter Parker was at least friends with Harry and on speaking terms with MJ, while clean-cut, handsome everyman Jaime has no social skills.
It's not saying much, but the movie is a little better at tone than modern Marvel. It plays way too many pop songs during serious moments, but it can also shut up at times. It still gets cartoony as hell with Jaime's grandma turning into John Wick--yeah, she kills people with a machine gun--and his uncle knowing how to pilot a hover-ship--which doesn't mesh well with the director dropping references to social issues like they're Green Lantern story arcs. Okay, are we a wacky cartoon or are we trying to make a statement about gentrification? I guess both!
Speaking of which, the movie keeps Jaime's no-kill rule, but lets his family blow up, blast, and even fucking IMPALE henchmen like there's no tomorrow. And it makes a point of having sympathetic villains and spelling out how desperately the disadvantaged Reyes family needs jobs. I guess none of those mooks just needed to pay for their family home. They all willingly chose to do evil by... working for a legitimate military contractor and trying to recover stolen property/guard private property.
And it's another movie where they make the villains cartoonishly racist instead of faux progressive like any real evil billionaire would be. There's a bit where a receptionist is told Jaime's name when he introduces himself (pronounced Haime) and she keeps mispronouncing it Jamie because... she knows how it's spelled and she's willingly pronouncing it the Anglo way instead of how he just told her it was pronounced? Like this sort of thing wouldn't immediately get recorded, posted on Twitter, and end up costing her her job? But, you know, I guess that's a sign of how evil Victoria Kord is, that she's carefully choosing racist receptionists who assume that a Mexican in a business suit must be a deliveryman.
That whole sequence... which is how Jaime gets his powers... is kinda a mess. Okay, he texts Jenny Kord for a job interview, but she doesn't know he's coming or set an appointment, because that's when she's stealing the Scarab. So I guess this pre-law college grad just decided to show up at Kord Industries and lie about having an appointment with a member of the board... so he could get a job interview... instead of waiting for her to text him back?
I know the movie is about alien technology and flying superheroes, but can we at least have them act like real people when it comes to things like job interviews, when everyone in the audience knows how those work?
Still, the movie stays mostly on the rails until the third act, where you get a patent example of just how bad modern blockbuster making has gotten. Everywhere Raimi's Spider-Man movies were smooth, streamlined, and organic, this movie's third act is cluttered and clumsy. Jaime himself is sidelined for an unbelievable interval, while every member of his family gets a hero moment and/or a pep talk to give to Jaime. They all blend together, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them got more than one.
And still the climax crams in more STUFF, from a last-minute redemption arc (again, more than one!) to a teachable moment between Jaime and his AI. None of this comes across as earned or stirring. And there's an unforgivable bit where Jaime's final power-up is blended with the villain going Super Saiyan and yet more side characters setting off one in a long line of explosives.
There's some many obviously cruddy writing moments like that. There's a scene where Jaime and Jenny easily escape pursuit, right next to a scene where they have their first encounter with the villainous Carapax in the exact same circumstances... couldn't some of that be merged or dumped so we had more time to spend on the development that's shoved in willy-nilly?
I'm not saying the first Spider-Man was Shakespeare, but we got a good idea of Peter, May, Mary Jane, Harry, Norman, and how they all related to each other... even foreshadowing of where their paths would continue on in future movies. In the last five minutes of Blue Beetle, they're still explaining Carapax's motivation! His last words are basically "I just remembered my backstory!" No, director-man, you gotta weave that into the narrative. We can't care about something when we heard about it for the first time ten seconds ago!

Thoughts on the latest video?
Let me preface this by saying that most of you know that I've been championing for them to go to Gettysburg for yeeeaaars now, so I'm going into this with a complete bias driven by excitement over the location.
So with that in mind- I actually really liked it.
I do wish they had maybe spent a little more time in each location and split these videos up into a series of 3? Or maybe spent more time in Gettysburg proper - camped in the Battlefield and stayed in one of the haunted hotels, etc - cause really, the history of Gettysburg is a hard one to just cram into an hour. But overall, I did enjoy it.
Comparatively speaking, they were pretty respectful and way more cognizant of their indoor voices this time - which is good, cause all I could think when they went into the Jennie Wade House basement was Zak Bagans getting his stupid ass banned from the entire town for his shenanigans 🤣.
I also just adore Faze Rug, as always, and Amanda wasn't super annoying in this one like she can be sometimes, so those were pluses.
I only really have 2 complaints (well, technically, I have 3, but the one is a complaint I have in every video they do, so I won't even talk about it lol):
1. I don't like this whole "forcing Faze Rug to go in the basement" shtick. I know that they are genuinely friends with him and always check their guests' comfort level with things like that before filming. I know this.
But if they're going to start shit like that, they are going to get a reputation for bekng dicks real quick lol.
2. The demon stuff at the end was...not for me. I've been to Gettysburg, many times. Did a few ghost tours in the town. I was in Farnsworth and the Jennie Wade house (the JW I was in at night ).
I have never heard anyone focus as much in demonic activity as was going on in this video.
So...I didn't love that. I also didn't love how they were all freaking out about the spiritual messages during the Estes Method when Colby flat out said at the beginning, "Oh, this thing is on the Cbristian channel." That's totally going to be the tag line of someone's debunker video lol.
I don't know...the history of the place is brutal and horrifying and is, in and of itself, evil. It doesn't need to be pumped up with talk of the Devil Incarnate.
But other than that, I definitely enjoyed it! It's probably the best video they've done (in my biased eyes) this year so far, so that's good.
I'm giving it a solid 7.8/10.
What did you all think?
