Nayuta and Mikage waving me goodbye 🤧🥲Perhaps I should formally reveal I record stuff for tik tok as UltimateMadokaSenpai and I spent the last two days grinding episode levels for a bunch of new girls I got, recording tap quotes, and transformations from my account progress so I can post it. I just barely got nayuta and mikages recorded lol. Like I was so stressed for the last hour recording and unlocking doppels. KUSUO SAIKI

• surprisingly, saiki has social media.

• private account, of course. 0 posts, 0 followers, 0 following, (12 follow requests which he will never accept).

• claims it helps him be percieved as 'average' (he's keeping tabs on his friends those nuisances that follow him around).

• enjoys baking videos! when he finds a recipe he likes, him and his mother will make it together.

• he's one of those people who use perfect punctuation and grammar whilst typing. never turned off auto-capitalisation.

• dry texter by choice, not by chance. he's less dry when he's speaking online to someone he actually likes, but not by much (by less dry, you get a sentence instead of a one-word answer).

• leaves everyone on delivered most of the time.

• tried changing his number multiple times, but someone always manages to get hold of it so he just gave up.

SHUN KAIDOU

• no one wants to say it so i will. he uses wattpad.

• tried to use ao3/fanfiction.net but found it too difficult so he stuck to his roots.

• he would definetly write paragraphs upon paragraphs of the lore of the-jet-black-wings and dark reunion, as well as the origins of the power sealed within his right arm (black beat) and why it is DETRIMENTAL that this power is never unleashed or stolen by evil.

• everyone in the comments think that it's just a cool original story idea.

• absolutely inserts his friends as original characters in his lore. i might make a whole seperate post about this.

• he also uses reddit. where else is he going to get story ideas?

• has these apps pin locked and hidden in his phone, on the off-chance his mother decides to look through it.

• ABSOLUTELY plays roblox, his username is something cringe he made when he was ten (like the rest of us), refuses to change it. account is -13 for some reason.

• he has spent a lot of money on roblox. a troubling amount.

• types in lowercase, except when he's talking to his mother, then it's all punctuation and manners.

AREN KUBOYASU

• still purchases burner phones even though his gangster days are over. old habits die hard.

• uses an ipad more often than not.

• plays roblox with kaidou, is a bacon hair. his messages constantly get filtered because he still doesn't realise you can't swear on roblox. warned almost everyday - on the verge of being banned.

• watches motorcycle tiktoks, it's literally all his fyp is. the comments he leaves are usually just questions relating to the specs of the bikes.

• is the member of the group that pays for netflix and disney+ and lets everyone leech off of him.

• reformed aren posts pictures of his friends and himself, it's actually a really normal page - which is his goal.

• pre-reformed aren would just post videos of him flexing, and all of his fights. there's a lot of fights.

• is on reddit SOLELY for the purpose of biker groups. could probably write a thesis on an single engine part. probably has. don't ask him to show you.

RIKI NENDOU

• this guy BARELY knows how to operate a phone, let alone the internet.

• only really uses his phone to google stuff and talk to his buddies.

• half the time nobody can decipher his messages it's just that horrendous.

• contrary to popular belief, he doesn't type with caps on all the time. keeps auto capitalisation on and uses a lot of exclamation marks though.

• is the person who created the class groupchat. and the group chat of the ENTIRE school year. he literally added EVERYONE to it.

• follows everyone? like... people don't even know how he knows everyone but he does?? (he's just really friendly).

• there's multiple videos that he's tagged in of him doing kind things for people, hairo is such a sweetheart guys.

• uses his platform to give fitness advice to people. there's a lot of motivational quotes plastered on his accounts.

KOKOMI TERUHASHI

• of course teruhashi has social media, how else will she broadcast her beauty?

• is really into conspiracy theories, although she won't publicise this or her stance on anything either. she must remain neutral.

• her @'s and tags are mostly full of her fans taking pictures with/of her. she appreciates it, of course! but it's still strange...

MIKOTO AIURA

CHISATO MERA

• doesn't have a phone. can't even afford gas and electric, let alone internet. is poor.

My MCR5 theory from like July when The Paper Kingdom leak happened

I wrote this when I was half asleep so PLEASE don’t take ANY of this seriously man this is the oddest thing I’ve ever wrote-

I highlighted and bolded some key information for the fellow skimmers. Also I tried to fix my grammer 4 the most part in this post bcuz this is REAL important.

Firstly, this leak is all so random. I mean, Excalibur has been posting (and I quote;) “leaks” for years now, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually had the songs and kept it for himself or (ALLEGEDLY) sold them for money. But no source seems to claim that he actually had the full tracks.

Perhaps he just had those clips he posted to lead everyone on? I’m not too sure. But, if he were to upload the full track “Witch”, he would’ve surely done it under his name, judging by how self respecting this guy seems.

Sadly I didn’t find any info on this ATTAM guy yet, so I’m completely clueless there. My bad. If you know anything about this ATTAM figure (whom I remember hearing only a bit about) that may be important to this theory, plz message me and I'll update this or post something new.

The second thing I have is with the uploader, ReasonableRadish5791. That username is quirky; it’s as if Gerard came up with it. And it’s not like Gerard doesn’t know how to use Reddit, he’s used it multiple times over the past decade for QNA and all that razzmatazz.

And I know, you’re probably like “Asher, why the fuck are you accusing this random stranger on the internet to be Gerard??”, but hear me out.

After stalking their account (I’m sorry btw), I found out that this account was made on July 1st, which was three days before the leak. Isn’t that weird?? It seems like this whole account was made on a whim with the sole purpose of uploading this unreleased / deleted track somewhere it wouldn’t get copyrighted down.

That’s so incredibly odd.. the fact that they seem to know the lyrics too drives me insane. Also, the only other things they’ve done on this account (so far) was post like two things about Hesitant Alien's unseen merch maybe two or so days before they leaked the track, I don’t even know - but then how would they have those too?? They have to have at least SOME relation to Gerard.

That means whoever this person is, is trying to seem less suspicious by having posted two things before the big leak.

That leaves me to further believe that this is one of the members; most likely Frank or Gerard.

Frank because he’s a little gremlin, that dude is literally on the FBI watchlist for Christ’s sake. And Gerard because he confirmed knows how to use Reddit and that witty username, along with the Hesitant Alien posts. Or it could be Frank going undercover as Gerard? Or perhaps them together, knowing how Frank is (I’d assume) staying over at G’s as of right now? The possibilities are endless, as of right now.

The third this is that if it actually WAS some random dude on the internet who somehow managed to get this leak in this scenario, wouldn’t they’ve cleared all this suspicion up already?? You know, like “*so and so* gave me this link and I decided to make this account and upload it bcuz I find this very interesting and Warner is really keen on taking it down on every other sharing platform so Reddit is my final hope to share this neat thing I got my hands on with all you guys” or something like that? They could’ve just done that and as I said earlier, straight up cleared things up.

But they didn’t.

We don’t know this guy. That fact interests me the most. Who is behind that screen? How do they have this access? Who truly are they??? It’s driving me absolutely insane.

And lets say this little teenage piece of emo trash’s theory is somehow correct, what would be the purpose of this leak? This is a deleted album from over a decade ago that all the band members agreed to feeling uncomfortable with the topic, and came to terms of scrapping it for good. Why bring it up again? There’s only one knowledgeable explanation; MCR5.

The band wants - no, NEEDS - to catch our attention in some way, shape, or form. What better way is that then to randomly post songs that weren’t fortunate enough to see the light of day under a secret identity? It all makes sense if you think about it.

They will - and have - successfully catch our attention with those leaks, all as a plan to suddenly (when the time is right) release new songs and most importantly, the long awaited fifth album! And following my later 2 year theory, I wouldn’t be too surprised. Though, I’m honestly shocked that all this is happening, as nothing as big as this happened in 2023. I mean, I didn’t have Tumblr at the time so idk if I missed anything (I probably did but still), but I’m almost 100% certain that this is the biggest thing that happened in the MCRmy since Foundations, Cheerleader Gerard, WWWY 2024, and (I know this isn’t that important but it’s still important) the L.S. Dunes AI drama.

But back to MCR5, all what I know right now is that Mikey is in LA and so is Frank (I dunno about Ray since he’s very private on Social media and I didn’t check yet- 😭), Mikey liked one of Bex’s videos about MCR5 on Insta, Mikey is back in the studio, Frank is presumably chilling at G’s house, Rich G clearly knows something that we don’t, and so does the drummer (I forgot his name sorryyyyy-), Frankie’s fortune cookies post, and probably some more - it’s safe to say that something is definitely up; and my Emo Senses are tingling at an all time high. All of this is heightening my suspicion, it’s kinda starting to make sense in my head.

The fact that the band hasn't yet made a message responding to the situation yet is also oddly suspicious. I kid you not, this leak may actually go into MCR history, and (assuming it's a scandal that they had nothing to do with) they don't say anything?

They would've definitely said something if this wasn't their doing, judging by all the attention it's gathering online.

Now, I don’t really consider myself a full ass MCR CONSPIRACIST, I’m not pulling up the tinfoil hats or anything - and I don’t ever plan to since I’m just doing this bcuz I’m bored - but you have to be honest with me. Something is certainly fishy. Something is happening behind the scenes, and as the secretive and cryptic dorks they are, they’re not letting us know anything. It's up to the chosen Killjoys to crack the codes.

But reminder, I could also be wrong. That ReasonableRadish5791 character could actually be some random dude just chilling on the internet. I could just be overanalysing like the little autistic geek I am. But this seems all too related to be just some random instance.. all of Excalibur’s stuff has watermarks; how is it though that this one suddenly doesn’t? Again, all too coincidental and somewhat staged to be brushed off as some random leak..

i reworked the noble hierarchy in westeros

i saw a tweet about this yesterday and couldn’t stop thinking about it. it said something along the lines of “i wish grrm had used more diversity in highborn titles bc everyone is just a lord.” while i think grrm said he did this on purpose to make it all less confusing, i had a hyperfixation on noble rankings a few months ago and started developing more nuance to this stuff once i fixated on asoiaf. because of the tweet i really Really wanted to share this but i do not have a public twitter account (thank god)

also i don’t like that the literal king of the continent is called “your grace” when that title usually refers to non-royal dukes / duchesses. yeah it used to be a monarch’s title but the term “majesty” is so much more dramatic and i Love that stuff !!! i used a combination of english and canon titles with a dash of russian influence

so yippee here is my personal opinion on how westerosi nobility should be addressed (under the cut bc long post). the heading is the reworked title and form of address, and below i have random notes and reasonings aka me infodumping

King / Queen of Westeros - “His / Her Imperial Majesty”

i wanted this to be more commanding and imposing to really show how coveted and important the throne and its power is aka give more realistic purpose for people to want it so bad. i think grander titles can put that idea him to people’s heads (besides “it’s neat” or as daemon said “a big chair made of swords”)

the title king / queen is perfectly good but i think it should be reserved for only the sole person on the throne. in my made-up ending of asoiaf, dany is queen of the six kingdoms (the north seceded and is ruled by sansa like in the show, and they have a close political allyship) and abolishes male-favoring primogeniture.

she also does some other stuff but that doesn’t matter here

westeros is technically an empire but i don’t want to call the monarch the emperor or empress, so i used just the form of address. since it’s a lot of syllables, the full three-word title is only needed during introductions or the very first address of the monarch. afterwards, the person speaking to them can just call them “your majesty” or “majesty” or “my king / queen”

Spouse of the King / Queen:

Grand Duke / Duchess - “His / Her Imperial Highness”

again, i wanted the king / queen to be The Person In Charge (whether or not the actual person does the work they should lol) so their spouse is less powerful than them and therefore not called “majesty”

i wanted to change this title more drastically because of my made-up ending (where dany is queen) and how there would definitely be future female monarchs who marry men, and i think having the king consort be called King would be confusing to people who are used to having only male rulers. it’d mess with their little heads

a duke is a nobleman who rules over a duchy and a lot of them are royal. in a lot of european monarchies, the grand duke title holds a similar amount of weight as the grand prince or archduke (i think used only in austria, so i didn’t go with that one) and only less than the king / queen so i thought this was a good fit :)

THAT BEING SAID!!!!!! this is also a lot more syllables. i decided that culturally and historically, most people have shortened their reference to the king’s wife and call her the queen. in all formal situations she would be the grand duchess, but calling her the queen for ease of conversation isn’t treason

Grand Lord / Lady - “His / Her Imperial Highness”

this was a recent addition because i thought everyone calling alicent the queen in hotd was a little silly. she was the queen for some time and is now the mother of the current king (and queen) and i like that they call her “queen dowager” sometimes, but since she would have been called the grand duchess in this timeline, i adapted that into something that seems respected and important but matches the political power they hold (not very much)

like how the grand duchess is casually called the queen, a grand lord / lady is sometimes called the queen dowager or the queen mother (see next point)

there is an exception to this title: if the widowed spouse is regent while their child is underaged or unable to rule (ceresi after joffrey is crowned) then they are called the queen regent or the queen mother, but becomes grand lady after their child comes of age. another example of this would be aegon ii being crowned when he’s an adult, so alicent was never his regent, therefore she would only be queen dowager or mother

all of this also swaps to if there’s a male widow it’s all the same thing just made masculine bc i don’t know the nuance of gender identity in westeros

i don’t like this one as much but idk what else to call it lmao

Siblings of the King / Queen:

Grand Prince / Princess - “His / Her Imperial Highness”

similar reasoning to the grand duke / duchess. siblings of an active monarch are super important but are not the same as their spouse

concerning targcest: the more important title overrules the one they’re first entitled to. example: helaena is never a grand princess because her and aegon married before he was crowned. she goes right to grand duchess, whereas aemond and daeron (yeah.) are grand princes

importantly, this title stays the same if and when the sibling outlives the monarch. they keep it for their whole lives Unless they gain a more important one, whereas almost all other titles change as soon as the monarchs do

sometimes simplicity is key. in my head, any augments to this title indicates a lowering in status (the addition of “grand” meaning that they aren’t in line for the throne anymore, and the addition of “lord / lady” lowering them to a further removed position. second one is coming up next)

Lord Prince / Lady Princess - “His / Her Highness”

these guys either aren’t blood related to the monarch or aren’t really in line for the throne. since non-royal nobility is still all variations of lord / lady to me, giving them this additional word kind of removes them from the main royal family

also taking away the full extent of the address by removing the “imperial.” they’re deserving of respect because of their relation, but are still more lowborn

the children-in-law of a monarch can keep their royal title(s) if they are widowed, but they lose them if they divorce

Great Lord / Lady - “His / Her Grace”

and so appears the title of “your grace”

i wish i didn’t have to come up with this one but people have kids so damn young in this world that the kids often have actual relationships with their great-grandparents. so here we go, a royal-friendly variation of the lord / lady title. they aren’t grand, but they are great

i like the idea of a free north. idk what the iron islands are doing and i haven’t thought about it enough to care yet

the north is not an empire, so they don’t get the addition of “imperial”

again, i just wanted to be loyal to grrm’s choice of address. and i don’t think the north would care as much as to who is who in terms of The Ruler, so sansa’s husband can be called the king

they’re royal but they’re also not too politically powerful. same as the westerosi one. i just got hit with sleepiness so sorry if these notes fall off in terms of quality

they don’t have a form of address beyond “my lord / lady” bc the north is less formal

same as above in reference to the form of address!

this is basically a lord paramount. the primary house of a region (the old kings) is called a great house. i wanted to keep some of grrm’s titles so not much would reallyyyy have to change, but there’s basically no difference between a lord paramount and a vassal house and a lowborn one so here we are

the books refer to these people as “high lords” so that’s mostly where this came from. i also really like combining words that make sense to be combined! that’s why some of these new titles are Just altered versions of lord or lady

i want the highlords to be distinctly different from lower houses, so they have a simple form of address

Lord / Lady

yes both of these guys have the same title because they probably carry similar power and influence with the highlord

Why do you think there won't be an Illyrian plotline? There's been a lot of emphasis on Ramiel, the BR, the focus on the political unrest in Illyria and the backwardness of the wing-clipping of Illyrian females

This might get me cancelled but quite frankly I don't think SJM is capable of or even wants to explore that kind of story.

I don't like bringing race into things, but SJM is a white woman. It can't be ignored. While I'm not trying to say that people of a certain race can't write about injustice or about a different oppressed race, especially one that's fictional- I just think SJM specifically doesn't have the right voice... so to speak... to write such a story.

Like I am sure she understands injustice. She understands classism. She understands oppression. But a story like that deserves a full focus, a full detailed account into that narrative of feeling oppressed, feeling like you are inferior, feeling like you are lower than an entire group of people ... all based on something you couldn't even control.

That kind of story doesn't fit into what she has set up for ACOTAR. SJM is not writing a story about social justice. She is writing a romantasy. The focus being on romance, just as much as it is on the fantasy elements of magic and powers and drama and suspense and thrilling action.

The Illyrian world building isn't the focus of her story. It is the backstory to explain the current state. Like the distinction between High Fae vs Lesser fae. It exists to serve as background context, and nothing more in my opinion. It is a plot device. It shows why Rhys/Cassain/Azriel are the way that they are. It adds to the political conflict post ACOWAR. It gives Emerie a backstory.

I see that entire subplot the same way I think SJM uses SA as just a "check the box: trauma ✔️" when she's coming up with her characters backstories. It exists for the sole purpose of character building. SA trauma is used for several of her main and side characters, but it's never really focused on. Rhys talks about it with Feyre, explaining how horrible it was, but nothing beyond that. No focus on Rhys's healing from that, not even a Rhys POV about his thoughts on it. Gwyn also has SA, but beyond sharing her background with Nesta and being in that library, it's literally never brought up again. Lucian's SA with Ianthe is also barely brought up or even talked about.

Emerie feeling anger and self-hatred over her wings being clipped is honestly the most SJM has done with the Illyrian plotline. Azriel has outright claimed he doesn't care if Illyria is blasted off the map. Cassian tries to help, but most of ACOSF was focused on him and Nesta. This would've been the perfect opportunity to have Nesta train in Windhaven and learn more about the Illyrians and help Emerie -> but she didn't want to train there. So back to the HOW we go.

And to be clear - I'm not trying to criticize SJM. She is writing a romantasy. That needs to be kept in mind. People who open her books are expecting romance, drama, action. They are not expecting to read 800 pages on fictional social oppression. They are not expecting to read 800 pages of someone recovering from SA.

Like there are other books for that. There are amazing other books for that. But ACOTAR? That's not what ACOTAR is made for.

SJM has not even set up any main characters to be able to narrate that Illyrian subplot. Emerie is the only one that comes to mind that could actually give a detailed account of what it feels like. But she's not even talked about when it comes to getting one of the next spinoffs.

These kind of stories about social injustice need to be handled with care and grace, but also be truthful enough that it's not sugarcoating the true atrocities people faced. And I know this is about a fictional world, but I see this world building as similar to real life events. Like when early American colonizers drove out the native Americans. Jim Crow laws. Apartheid. Indians that suffered under the rule of the British. Jews during WWII.

Illyria might be fictional but oppression is not. If you're going to write about something like that, it's going to be open to a lot of scrutiny and it will have to be the focus. It will have to be written with careful, yet honest words. And SJM - or at least her editors- know that too.

It doesn't fit the story she has set up with ACOTAR. And if she tried to do it now, I don't think it would even go over well.

Now for the facts! :

Miles "Tails" Prower is a character from the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise.

His name is a pun that refers to "Miles Per Hour"

He is Sonic's sidekick, and had his first debut in 1992, in the game "Sonic The Hedgehog 2".

One of his favorite foods (if not his favorite) is mints!

Even though he is very young, being only 8 years old(or 4 ½ if we're taking "The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog" into account), He is extremely smart and has a IQ of 300. He once even made a TV out of paperclips, for heck's sake!

He has made multiple gadgets and tech items because of his inteligence, his probably most famous/used one being "The Miles Electric", a multi-use portable computer, or the "Tornado", which is an airplane.

His intelligence and knoledge on technology is very advanced, with him being able to figure out how tech he'd never seen before works within only a few glances/minutes.

Although his main focus is in being a scientist that creates technology, he also has good knowledge in history, physics and just science in general

His origin story can vary a little depending on what piece of media we're talking about, but two things that are confirmed in the majority of iterations are that:

1- He used to get bullied in his village because of his 2 tails (That is also why his nickname is, well... Tails.)

And 2- One day he saw Sonic run by, found him cool and decided to follow him around until they became friends.

Tails can fly with his 2 tails, using them like a helicopter propeller. While flying, he is shown to be able to keep up with Sonic's speed, although he does get tired if he flies too much. Using his tails the same way, he can also push boats and stuff like that underwater. He also sometimes fights using them as weapon, and is a very skilled fighter.

Still about his tails and fighting skills, although I think those are just plot errors, he is shown to be able to use his tails to slice through metal, and is seemingly strong enough to lift up tons and sometimes is even faster than Sonic. (Okay, let me rephrase this. These definitely are plot errors. Sonic is literally supposed to be the fastest being on earth. And which 8 year old child can LIFT UP TONS OF STUFF??? It's already impressive that he can lift Sonic and other people up along with him when flying!)

He is agile and has some acrobatic skills.

Unlike Sonic, he is a good swimmer, and also a good cook.

I can't think of any more random facts..

WARNING! This rant is a very subjective and hot take about Prismo [Adventure Time] & how the modern fandom treats him. This is a personal and emotionally driven rant. if that doesn’t sound good to you, please do not read this rant.

hello to anyone reading this! you probably don’t know me or you don’t know much about me, but i’m justaprismolover. i’ve been obsessed with prismo for a very long time, about three years or so. he was this major interest of mine that i would constantly think about 24/7.

he was this huuuge obsession of mine that i consistently was enamored by. the phase seemed to never wear off. i drew him, animated him, wrote fanfictions about him, i had elaborate daydreams about him, i started making an album about him (which i only discontinued because all of the songs suck lol), i posted about him and ranted and raved to my friends, said his name many times every day, made AUs for him, and i even started archiving every drawing i saw of him. you see, prismo drawings back in the day were very rare, so i was constantly starving for tha goods (fanart). i would always look him up on deviantart and google to see if anyone posted art of him. i followed and subbed to anyone who showed interest in him. i had looked him up on youtube and deviantart and pinterest countless times. i started seeing the same prismo content over and over again, which is reasonable, but i, who at the time started to archive every piece of work of prismo i could find, had this crazy goal of archiving every work i could find of prismo. so i started making social media accounts for the sole purpose of archiving content containing him and dipping.

i made a tiktok account (which was banned after one day for some reason?? i didnt comment or have a trashy username or anything idk) i made a twitter account (total waste of time i couldnt find any prismo stuff) and i made a tumblr account, the only account i kept. i originally wasn’t going to at first but tumblr sorta stuck with me. there were a wee amount of prismo fans who loved him just like me! so i stuck around and started posting art just for fun.

then something interesting happened. a new fiona and cake show was coming out, and a depressed looking prismo was right there in it! i was excited to see more prismo, but i was also kind of worried. i was scared the prismo ‘fandom’ (it was literally like 5 people at the time) wouldn’t be the same after fiona and cake came out. what if prismo became a tumblr sexyman and they started humanizing him and making him act super out of character? what if he was downplayed as a “silly blorbo”? what will happen to my archive? will there be too much art to archive?

i know that it might sound selfish to be saying stuff like this, but i’m sure everyone has felt it before. that feeling when something tiny you like became popular and you just sat there thinking “i was here first!” its petty but its valid as long as you aren’t putting anyone down for getting there later than you.

so i comforted myself by telling myself that it won’t be that big of a deal and prismo probably wouldn’t play a big part. its not like there was a huge prismo craze in 2012 when he first was introduced or anything like that. there’s going to be so much new cool artwork of prismo made by so many cool people that will all put their own lil twists on him, and in a month most of the prismo likers will move on which means it’ll be me and a bunch of dedicated prismo enjoyers, but not too many, and it’ll be like one of those teeny cool fandoms. yep, that’s what i told myself. it’s not like i was fully convinced by this or anything but it kept me afloat. i just kept on doing what i usually did until the show came out, and…

boy, was i wrong.

prismo played a huge role! he CREATED fiona and cake! he had new characters to interact with! there was new art! new fanfiction! a huge brand-spanking new prismo fandom flooded into tumblr. prismo playlists! prismo cosplays! prismo crafts! i was flabbergasted. totally enamored by this wave of content. do you know how insane it feels when this character that was forgotten by everyone but you and some others suddenly gets extremely popular?! it’s like you’re dying in the sahara desert of dehydration when suddenly you trip into lake baikal. it was insane. and, it wasn’t THAT bad! yeah, there was some headcanon stuff and “sillyposting” that i didn’t like, but hey, most of the prismo stuff kept him looking the same and drew really neat looking art of him! i was ready to embrace this new prismo epidemic with open arms if it wasn’t for one teensy weensy itty bitty minor problem…

Scarab.

ya see, scarab and prismo to this new era of prismo lovers are absolutely inseparable. you cant have one without the other. they’re treated akin to simon and betty, where if you draw one, you must draw the other. pink, yellow and blue is no longer prismo including his lil blue pupil, but now its prismo, the wall of the time room and scarab! pretty much what i’m saying is the new prismo fandom was almost ALL prismo x scarab shippers. hell, most of them joined BECAUSE they liked the pairing itself. the prismo fandom pretty much became the prohibited wish fandom, which to someone like me who doesn’t ship it… was… something. yeeep. it was totally something alright.

i know its easy to make fun of me for being sad about a ship that everyone else in the fandom ships, which i mean, fair enough, it’s pretty funny, but i hope you get my point of view as someone who doesn’t ship the ship and doesn’t really care for scarab. i’ve been so dedicated to doing my weird little prismo stuff for so long, just me and sometimes me and a few others, and suddenly, this humongous wave of people come who start drawing all sorts of ship art with this… bug dude thingy that i didn’t even care for. and its only. ship art. which made me feel so left out of all the fun. i can’t force myself to like the ship, because, well, not only is that near impossible for me but i don’t like the tropes and its a ship that’s pretty lustful and often puts the characters in sexual scenarios with one another.

you see, the ship alone isn’t the whole issue. it’s the way the ship is portrayed, and especially the way prismo is portrayed.

back in the day, prismo was characterized by most people (including me) to be this super chill yet awkward guy who was funny and cool yet lonely and kinda clingy (which was proved to be CANON cuz hes obsessed with jake in Fiona and Cake HEHEHEHH). he was a side character who was kinda mysterious which left him up in speculation. everyone had their own little prismo theories. the best part about prismo was that nobody really forced him to have a one dimensional trope (ironic).

like, there weren’t any moments in canon that made everyone think he was obsessed with something like, pickles or destroying universes or whatever. you know how so many fanon side characters are often attributed to one singular thing they like or do, and so everyone makes it as if they’re obsessed with doing it to the point where it’s more of a lifestyle than a hobby to that character? prismo didn’t get that treatment! many people who liked him UNDERSTOOD that he wasn’t some guy who sat around in his hot tub all day manically making pickles or messing around with the lich. (true ogs remember prismo x lich. RIP that ship you sucked but the art was delicious)

so many people understood that below the surface he was lonely and just needed somebody to talk to, how he could never leave the time room. we based our drawings more on the character himself, his internal struggles and external battles. and yeah, most prismo fanart… WAS JUST PRISMO! and the prisjake art was (and still is) almost ALL wholesome and cute, because, well, prismo never came off to anyone as a sexual person!

and the just prismo drawings were unique too! so many of them explored different concepts and ideas, which is something i rarely see nowadays, cuz most of the art is just him calling scarab petnames and writing fanfics.

warning: the following paragraph contains mentions of art of sexual harassment. please skip this paragraph if you are uncomfortable with this topic. please note that this is my main reason as to why i do not like the modern prismo fandom.

the biggest issue i have with the modern prismo fandom is that they portray him as a very lustful person, someone who openly talks about doin’ the deed towards scarab as soon as he sees him. so many depictions of this pairing will show prismo telling scarab he’s hot whilst scarab is trying to kill him, or saying things like, “please do” when scarab makes genuine threats to end his life, which in turn makes scarab angry and uncomfortable. other depictions include prismo GRABBING SCARAB WITHOUT HIS CONSENT! and i hate to break it to some, but that is harassment! what surprises me is how common works like these are. i constantly see them on my dashboard. people just seem to love the idea of prismo going, “now that we’re in the same dimension, i can do whatever i want to you.” i would show examples so yall can see what i mean, but that’d be really stupid of me to go showing around peoples art and giving specific examples. so, just look out for it, and you might start seeing it more. (these types of drawings have died down as the time goes on but they used to be a lot more common in the early f&c days). all i’ll say is, prismo grabbing or saying sexual stuff to scarab is not cute if scarab looks uncomfortable or is telling him to cut it out or leave him alone. this is harassment. i thought modern fandom was supposed to be more progressive than this. c’on, guys. (alsooo, prismo just. isn’t a sexual guy. like at all. when prismo and scarab meet he just seems like hes freaking the hell out the whole time and never stops to check scarab out at all. people are being gaslight by fanart or something lol okay sorry i know people can have headcanons)

another lil thing grudge i have is the whole fanfiction thing. y’all, he made an action based genderbent world. he’s not writing omegaverse smut fanfiction. okay, i get if you wanna headcanon him with that, i think its funny, but like, don’t make him writing fanfiction his whole personality!!!

so yeah, all of the prohibited wish and new characterization of prismo i don’t agree with has made me feel so left out of something that i’ve partaken in for so long. all of this over time has lead me to not be able to enjoy prismo as much. yes, i still love him, and drawing him still brings me immense joy, but it just isn’t the same. i just feel so left out and it really hurts. even if it is laughable, i hope anyone reading this, if anyone at all, could at least understand that bit.

so, TL;DR:

the old prismo fandom was full of different headcanons and theories, different ships, rarepairs even, and all sorts of unique and awesome ideas and art.

the modern one is (mostly) either two things: scarab x prismo or prismo writing smut fanfiction with some other character (but its usually scarab).

and guys. please, please, please. THIS IS MY SUBJECTIVE OPINION! people can headcanon whatever they want and draw whatever they want! i have never, ever harassed anyone who drew something i don’t like. this is honestly my first time opening up about my extremely hot take. it’s not like i’m an ultra petty bully who hates every piece of prohibited wish (my likes are public and you can see that i actually have liked prohibited wish stuff, you can see i have a preference for wholesome tho) please continue to ship what you ship and do whatever you want to prismo and whatever other characters. i’m honestly so scared of getting hate and getting attacked by people. if you read all of this, first of all, thank you SO much, i’m so happy someone actually took the time to hear me out!, and second, you are likely not the problem, and i’m sure i’d love your art of prismo, even if it’s prisxscrabby. just. please, don’t attack me. (i’m aware this post probably has 2 notes or less this is just in case)

Q: are you neurodivergent?

A: i think i might be. i have a therapist and we’re working on getting me a diagnoses. she’s very positive that i have autism. we can’t say for sure if i do until i get my diagnoses, though. please keep in mind that my extreme obsession with prismo and my unwelcomeness for change may be the result of my potential autism. but like i said, i haven’t been officially diagnosed and i do not like the idea of self-diagnosing.

You'd Think After I Made a "Stop Selling Systemmates" Post

Do I-- do I really need to say why this is fucked up? Just, creating sentient life with the sole intention of them being your love interest, but as an extra added layer of fucked up, you purposely create them to be callous, violent, and abusive! Also, reading the tags, what the fuck do you mean, "tulpas dni," you LITERALLY followed a TULPAMANCY blog and are putting pro tulpa tags in there.

This is a troll right? Some sysmed trying to make batsh!t-looking Tulpamancy accounts to make the community look bad? Wouldn't be out of the question because they've literally tried that with "demo systems" before. Or maybe they're not a sysmed, but like, some 4chan troll who thinks this sh!t is the funniest thing since your mom jokes were invented.

Who Will Survive vs Die in DFF

I thought I would make a post about my predictions of who’s going to survive vs die in the final episode of DFF.

I don’t know about you, but speculating about character deaths takes me back to GOT times, which were, mostly, glorious (except for some parts of the last season. But, ah well… moving on…)

First and foremost:

Let’s just start with a theory I have that I’ll base my predictions on.

To me, there is a constant theme of morals in DFF. The moral complexities of these characters and their actions (or lack thereof) are woven throughout the whole series. Whenever moral complexity gets this much space in a story, there’s (usually) a focus on both the flaws and mistakes and on redemption and taking responsibility throughout those stories.

Obviously, this is not a must and there’s always the possibility that one weighs heavier than the other. Considering that 99% of the characters are morally complex in DFF, there’s no way it’s balanced anyway. Someone is going to be more redeemable than the others and vice versa (it would be too flat and boring otherwise).

But it does make me wonder whether the characters who show remorse, take responsibility for their actions, or even redeem themselves in some way have a bigger likelihood of surviving the chaos at the house.

Por is an example of someone who didn’t redeem himself (since I don’t see how his one sentence about Keng using Non could’ve redeemed him from the way he treated Non himself) and so, he ended up dying.

I’ll be coming back to this theory throughout this post. But let’s get to the good stuff, starting with Non.

Non is alive and has a chance of surviving.

I’ve mentioned this in previous posts as well (like this one), but let me make a somewhat more serious and logical case for it here.

Like it or not, Non is the sun in the solar system that is DFF, and all the other characters revolve around him and what happened to him. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense that his death was so quick and easy. Not to mention, happening off-screen.

Could the writers have chosen to actually kill Non? Sure. But if that was their aim with this character, they would’ve shown him die rather than just showing him being in pain and coughing in some scenes before his supposed death. Showing him die would’ve given more emotional weight to the series, instead what we got was Non being carried off like a meaningless sack of potatoes.

You could argue that the lack of emotional weight of his death was purposeful if DFF is supposed to be a tragic story where everyone dies tragic and meaningless deaths. But I don’t feel like that’s what DFF is. (I’m sure the uncle on the scooter will forgive me for saying that. But he’s headless, so he can’t even think. Anyway…)

Non has definitely made mistakes in the past (getting involved with the group, opening the horse accounts, threatening the others when he was at the end of his rope, etc.) (this is not a post about whether or not Non was manipulated or forced into doing this by other people or by his circumstances, I’m merely summarizing some aspects of his past that could’ve gone differently if he’d made other choices) and now he’s taking responsibility for his shitty situation (even though he does blame Tee at the beginning, which is understandable).

Non is clearly working off his debt so that he can become free (given the note Tee found by Non’s body). Getting out of there was always his aim. And he needed to work off his debt to do that. So he took responsibility for his situation and tried to make it happen.

There’s no way Non is dead, and this is based solely on the fact that he took responsibility for his actions and situation (compared to Por who didn’t and is now dead).

Besides, that note Non had written clearly stated that he wasn’t a loser and would make it out of there (and I choose to take the contents of that note literally).

What really happened to Non, though? I’ve already written a bit about that in a short post about my thoughts on White being Non, which you can read if you want some serious (and some delulu) thoughts on this possibility.

And will Non still be alive at the end of all this? Well, that’s the question, isn’t it?

I think he’ll survive.

If he is White, like I speculated about in that post, and even if his choice to infiltrate the group was to get revenge on everyone, I still believe he will survive. Mainly because I don’t think he would go through all this to get his hands “dirty”.

Besides, based on how White is portrayed and his actions so far, I don’t necessarily think he would kill anyone. Obviously, he could’ve chosen to do something similar to Tan and Phee (getting the others to confess their sins) since White has also been a driving force in finding out what happened to Non, but his aim might’ve been for them to self-destruct instead of acting out the role of executioner himself. Perhaps he wanted to get them to a point where someone cracked and chose to come clean to the authorities, leading them to (hopefully) be properly tried for their sins.

Either way, all this is better than murder, right?

If Non isn’t White, however, but perhaps the masked ninth person at the house, and he was the one who lured Por out into the woods (and perhaps putting up that line that killed the uncle on the scooter) and then sat back and observed from the shadows, he might actually die in the end since one person (possibly two) died as a result of his actions.

But I feel like this outcome can be based on what Tan decides to do now that everyone is knocked out (perhaps burn the whole house down with all of them in it), and if Non never exposes himself and just decides to leave. Because, right now, there’s no immediate threat to the masked person (they all believe it’s just a curse/hallucination anyway).

But, Non is definitely not dead. I refuse to believe that.

After this long ramble, let’s move on…

White will survive.

As I mentioned before, I’ve written a short post about my thoughts on White being Non, and based on this (assuming that White is Non), there are two main reasons I believe he will survive:

Non’s death and resurrection have transformed him into a new person with a clean sheet. His old sins have been burned away so he could rise from the ashes like a phoenix. (Too dramatic? Okay, I’ll stop).

White has literally done nothing wrong. Nothing. Well, he might be a master manipulator who has manipulated us all into believing he has nothing to do with this. But, since it’s White, I don’t mind. He’ll still survive.

If it turns out White isn’t Non, he would still survive based on No.2 above.

Since he’s done nothing wrong, there’s nothing he has to redeem himself for either. His conscious is clean and he will, therefore, survive.

Tan/New will die.

He personally signed, sealed, and delivered his own demise to the executioner as soon as he said he didn’t care what Non would want him to do.

There’s no remorse in sight or no sign of him wanting to take responsibility either. I mean, it’s understandable considering he’s lost everything, and learning about Non’s death sent him over the edge. Just look at how unbothered he is when a gun is pointed directly at him. Sure, he knows Phee won’t shoot, but it’s like he’s been ready to die for a long time.

However, without that remorse and/or taking responsibility, there’s no way I believe he will survive. So, goodbye my reliable puppet master. I will miss your twisted plans.

Phee will survive.

One of Phee’s biggest mistakes was to tell Non to get lost and die (that was the only way for Phee to forgive Non). Based on the preview for the last episode, his biggest fear is being responsible for/chasing Non to his death. That guilt has been eating him up, to the point of staying “friends” with these assholes for so long (I know I could never have that tolerance, so props to him).

Phee’s redemption has been in finding out what happened to Non (even though he had to do some dubious shit to accomplish it). And as soon as Tee told them that Non was dead, Phee’s mission was done and he turned on Tan.

Now, I can’t stand disloyal bitches… but. BUT. His loyalty was never really with Tan. It was always with Non. It showed when Phee asked Tan what Non would’ve wanted. That’s why he’ll survive.

Jin will survive.

I believe he’ll survive on the fact that he confessed to Phee about taking the video. He acknowledged that he made the whole situation worse for Non. And he felt guilty for it.

He even confessed to having posted the video online (which may or may not be the truth, and I’m pretty sure he only thinks he did). If Jin did post it, then he acknowledged the fact that he made things worse for Non. If he didn’t (but still thought he did), he took responsibility for someone else’s mistakes without knowing it.

Either way, he felt remorse and took responsibility for his part in what happened to Non, and that’s why he’ll survive.

Tee will survive.

This is probably the one I mostly hope I’ll be wrong about, because, I would love to see him sacrifice himself to save White. But I’m pretty sure I won’t get that because then the whole show would turn out to be solely about Tee’s redemption arc and untimely demise (and I’ve already said that Non is the sun in the DFF solar system, so… no, this won’t happen).

Anyway, based on what I wrote above about remorse, redemption, and responsibility, I feel like Tee actually showed two (if not all three) of them in the 11th episode.

He definitely felt remorse for what he’d done to Non. The fact that he was crying when Non (understandably and rightfully) asked what the fuck he’d done to deserve Tee’s treatment of him showed his remorse.

He definitely took responsibility for his part in Non ending up in debt and in uncle Joe’s clutches as well, and he did so by getting another job so he could help Non pay off the debt faster.

Tee is also the character I feel has the biggest (if not the only) redemption arc in this series (and I love redemption arcs). He started as an arrogant asshole and slowly (very slowly) they showed us his remorse, wanting to undo what he’d done, making an effort to be a better person, and actually becoming a better person.

So, based on my theory, he will survive.

Fluke will die.

Fluke hasn’t owned up to anything. He apologized to the masked person (his hallucination) once but he was very vague about what he apologized for (even though I believe it was about uploading the video). He’s only been blaming everyone else for what they did, but nothing about him seeing it all and still not doing anything about it.

Fluke has got to go. And I’ll be less worried about the sick people in DFF who could’ve gotten him as their doctor. Who would’ve wanted to put their life in his hands? No, thank you very much.

Top will die (if he’s not dead already).

He’s a lot like Fluke in the sense that he blames other people instead of looking at his own mistakes. Also, he never took responsibility for breaking that fucking camera that started all this shit.

And if that’s not enough reason for him not to survive…

He’s also a sexist pig calling people out for being on their periods if they’re pissed. So, yeah, he’s got to go.

And lastly…

Keng is alive but will die.

Now, this is a delulu theory if anything. But I’ve said many times that I love delulu theories. So, here goes.

My theory is here that he survived his showdown with uncle Joe and might’ve been the one who killed him (perhaps as soon as he found out Non was dead). Since then, he’s been in hiding (he’s wanted for child abduction, after all) and planning a way to avenge Non (especially on Tee for the horse accounts and Por for stealing the script).

Keng turns out to be the ninth person (the masked person with a limp) who lured Por out to the woods, beheaded the uncle on the scooter, and has been watching the aftermath from the shadows. Until it’s his time to strike. If he manages to kill someone or turns out getting axed himself, remains to be seen.

If he is alive, there’s a big possibility he’ll die. Because I have no idea how you can redeem yourself from grooming a much younger, innocent student under your care…

i understand that perhaps this person is your friend and you are familiar with him on a deeper level, and that because of this you would feel differently about their statement/how it should be received. with that said, being 17 is not in any way a shield nor an excuse to say outright false, defamatory, and outlandishly offensive things about someone you dislike due to stan war/stan culture.

Fat Girls Hiking: An Inclusive Guide to Getting Outdoors at Any Size or Ability by Summer Michaud-Skog (2022)

I loved how Michaud-Skog describes the evolution of FGH (www.instagram.com/fatgirlshiking/), from their personal social media account, into a hashtag and platform that featured lots of people who “rallied around inclusivity, fat activism and accessibility in the outdoors” and, how that evolution (and expansion/visibility) required an evolution in purpose and clarity in mission. Some quotes (slightly remixed) below:

In the beginning, some people thought FGH was a motivational group for people to lose weight. And since body positivity and self-love had increased traction in the mainstream as part of a pro-diet and weight-loss agenda, I had to again adjust the language around what Fat Girls Hiking is and what it is not. I created community guidelines so anyone attending an event or group hike or participating in the community online could engage in a way that would be best for the care of the community. FGH doesn’t allow diet or weight-loss talk. We also don’t allow racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ableism or any form of bigotry. These guidelines are now part of our mission statement, which I constantly post about (every hike and event description includes them) because social media often feels like a never-ending battle against anti-fat diet-culture trolls.

Over time, I adjusted the FGH guidelines through my experiences to curate the space I wanted to thrive in and offer to others. My goal is online and real-life spaces and communities where we can all by fully who we are without shame or justification or explanation. Initially, I made the mistake of saying all were welcome. But that’s not actually true. I won’t welcome bigots into this community. If someone is bothered by the fact that I talk not only about being a fat woman in the outdoors but also about being queer, then this community may not be for them. If someone is looking for a place to share how they have lost weight through hiking a lot, this is not the community for them.

People can do whatever they want with their bodies and participate or not in diet and weight-loss culture, but in this tiny microcosm on the internet, I won’t allow it. It’s okay though - there are literally thousands of places online and IRL where you can talk about diet culture. It’s everywhere.

In order to keep the online FGH space free from diet culture, weight-loss talk, body shaming, and any form of bigotry, I had to invest time in creating language and tactics for when trolls or anyone else comes into the space without respect for the guidelines.

I also appreciated the honesty in the lack of actual people showing up to the first group hikes, even though people had requested them and were enthusiastic about them on social media. The transition from online interest into physical presence is not a guarantee (as anyone who has looked at the # of Eventbrite / FB event rsvps vs actual attendees knows).

As my politics grew more radical, I cared less and less about corporations or magazines acknowledging my work - it’s the community and all the people in it who motivate me, and I’m fiercely protective of them. I eventually stopped using the term body positive* because I didn’t like the implication that I, or anyone else who lives in a fat or marginalized body, had to be positive about being widely oppressed.

... It’s clear to me that the work I do with FGH is fat activism. Fat activists are still figuring out the best language to describe our work. Fat positivity centers the fat body, but some activists have moved away from using the term positivity, as it creates an unrealistic ideal that we must always feel positive about our fat bodies. Fat acceptance is a term used by activists to create a broader, more neutral understanding for folks living in bigger bodies.

In my own activism, I gravitate toward the terms body liberation and fat liberation. Body liberation recognizes the need for distance from diet culture’s toxicity and freedom from the societal, cultural, and systemic oppression anyone in a marginalized body faces. Fat liberation recognized the specific intersection of folks in fat marginalized bodies.**

Is it like the Netflix account where it’s just a random intern so nothing they say on there matters since it’s just promo and they don’t know where the story is going? It depends.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the Duffers themselves are literally behind these accounts.

I do however think that a lot of what they post (not including every sly reply or comment towards random users) comes from the guidance of higher ups, with a lot of it being planned and scheduled in advance.

There are people hired to come up with the ideas for posts. There are people hired to literally design said posts. And there are people hired to schedule and post said posts. Those are not going to be the same person. Bc there are checks and balances that need to take place. Marketing is a specialty in and of itself. A lot of the final decisions are going to be made by experts in marketing, who are very likely also informed by the Duffers/Netflix about what should/shouldn’t be posted at certain points.

No, I don’t think every reply or every post should be taken as definitive endgame proof alone, but I also don’t think that everything they post is necessarily random and meaningless either. There is thought put into details of what is posted on days like Stranger Things Day. We have seen there be Easter eggs hidden in promotion over the years, it’s actually quite frankly the Duffer Brothers’ style.

And the Duffer’s have admitted that marketing played a big role in the foreshadowing provided in the details of st4 posters, hinting at concepts that didn’t even come to fruition fully in s4, which means there are indeed higher ups in marketing at Netflix, who know at least some endgame details, solely for the sake of promotion purposes.

They need people who know the deep details of the story, otherwise the content online promoting it would suck. Like imagine someone amazing at design, but whose never actually seen st more than once, try to make something engaging to hype up the fans, without being given any pointers from those that are involved with the production?…

That would also be way too much labor for one or even a few to do all on their own. They need people who have the inside scoop first and foremost, so that those people can advice others with different skills, like graphic design and social media engagement, so that they can come together and make something that is acceptable for promotional purposes in general. It expands from few people having the inside scoop at the top, to a bunch of employees working as social media interns, for super specific accounts ranging from genre based to country based.

So yes, please, please don’t harass the interns behind these accounts. They themselves have no clue what’s going to happen, they’re just the messenger.

Yes, I agree and made a point to imply such in that post. It's another reason why I do not like this ship. Her being a “Cassandra” is also not a personality trait, nor is it actually ever used in the plot but just to over-emphasize the already over-emphasized Aegon’s prophecy and emphasize her loneliness (which somehow doesn’t alarm green stans?).
