So I have a dumb Astarion/Tav fic idea. (BG3 slight Act 1 spoilers) My Tav took Auntie Ethel's deal, and is now hag-eyed. One night, Astarion asks him how it affects his vision, because we know from what Ethel said and the perception disadvantage that it does affect your vision.

Tav finds the effect it difficult to describe, and offers to try to use the tadpole's connection to let Astarion see it for himself.

Neither of them are thinking about the fact that when Astarion looks through Tav's eyes, he's going to see himself for the first time in 200 years.

my two cents on Liushen vs Bingqiu

imo the truly wild thing about the Liushen vs Bingqiu debate is that, from the perspective of all the non-transmigrator characters, Liu Qingge is a much more appropriate age to be in a relationship with Shen Qingqiu than Luo Binghe. HOWEVER, based on the fact we have no idea how long the Qing generation have been peak lords, it’s absolutely possible that the actual age difference between Liu Qingge and Shen Yuan is MULTIPLE TIMES larger than the age difference between Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe.

I love how the most popular depictions of the Lotus Eaters are little gremlin guys who don't stand past Ody's knees. Like, the Lotus Eaters were, at least at some point, human beings that stood about the same height as Eurylochus and Diametes! Sure, they sit just this side of human after eating so many lotus flowers/fruits, but they should still be about the height of a grown person

I feel it prudent to say that it's been a while since I last read the Odyssey, so I don't exactly remember how Ody described the Lotus Eaters. For all I know, he could've described them as little gremlin guys! I should go read that again...

Also, the lotus fruit works as a narcotic, making these people forget everything. I know some of Ody's men ate some of the flowers and he practically had to drag them back to the ships. Lotus fruits don't change anything other than memory, so I was joking when I said the Lotus Eaters weren't completely human anymore. Just in case anyone missed the joke (Then again, there is a shit ton of magic in the area, so the lotus fruits could've made them less human..?)
