In my dream, although it has already been two years since you were my teacher....

And months since you took your own life...

You were on the second floor of the new block holding a book with a younger student clarifying doubts, I whispered a 'Good morning, sir' as I walked past by but you didn't notice it.

I simply walked away, brushing it off... then I paused in my steps, realising you weren't supposed to be there, realising it was all but a dream, you were no more... I can't meet you again or see you as my classmates planned at our reunion...

I walked to the last class on that floor, a class I've never been in only past it once or twice...

I took a seat near my friend, you came in and began teaching. everyone, even the class clowns kept quiet and listened intently, not making the slightest of the noise...

I can't remember what you taught but soon it was over, few students walked up to you, to ask questions, to just talk...

I stood rooted to my seat, a moment I regret now, not speaking a word to to, just as silent as I used to be in your classes two years ago....

I looked over to my frends, all were confused to why you were there as if they too realised it was nothing but a dream...

I woke up right then, a Panic, trying to remember every little detail of that dream. I desperately found my phone, Googling what that dream ment... It told me I still had lessons yet to learn.... And

'if the deceased is smiling in a dream, it ment they have reached afterlife and are happy there'

In a frenzy I tried to remember whether you smiled or not, for the life of me.... I can't....

oh this was bad, this was very very bad. this hunt was more dangerous than the two believed. demons were involved and boy did they have a thirst for the winchesters. but sonny wasn't going down without a fight. and neither was dean.

longer they fought, the harder it became. as if they were multiplying. sonny was to engrossed in what she was doing that she didn't realized that dean was looking at her somberly. knowing exactly what he has to do in order for this to end. but sonny had no idea. that is until she turned to look at him.

the look in his eyes and the way his hands were slowly brought up to cup her face. a moment shared between the two in silence. demons backing off for a moment before starting up again. "dean what are you-" that was when it hit her. immediately shaking her head as she placed her hands over his that held her, "no.. no no, you're not going to sacrifice yourself for me dean. you're not going to-"

her voice desperate. eyes pleading as she looked into his own. bottom lip quivering. this couldn't be the way it should go. before she could argue any further, he shoved her out of the way and the demons pounced.

my top bit of advice going into the new year: compliment people. especially strangers. literally everyone you interact with if you can. when you buy coffee in the morning compliment the barista's tattoos. when you're chatting with a coworker tell them that by the way you like their outfit. always find something they've chosen to do on purpose. nail polish, jewellery, tattoos, hair colour/style, statement accessory, outfit, etc are all good bets. things people hope will be noticed. things that aren't too personal so it doesn't make them uncomfortable (eg probably not their physical features). i've gotten into the habit of scanning everyone i talk to for something about them that i think is cool so i can tell them. it's a great habit because it makes me notice people and realise just how many neat little details there are in people's presentation of themselves that might pass me by if i wasn't paying attention. and it brings out so much joy. you'd be surprised how much it disarms people to receive an unexpected compliment from someone they don't know. it is the most sincere smile you will see all day long. it feels nice to make people happy but it also means you win the social interaction. establish dominance by complimenting a stranger's earrings and disappearing into the fog
