lancelot with a cupid!reader who he always found quite… odd while growing up, choosing to steer clear of her during their childhood.

growing up into their teenage years, he found her less of a weirdo and more of an airhead. he found that she’d often space out, thinking of who knows what and always stood the risk of getting herself hurt because of it.

with her clumsiness and the knack she has for spacing out in the worst situations, lancelot just accepted his fate and decided to have an eye out on her, tailing her from behind at a good distance without her knowing to avoid her getting herself hurt or into trouble.

he’d watch in amusement whenever she’d help someone with relationship problems or even help budding relationships bloom. her passion for helping people find their other halves or help a relationship flourish is something he found slightly intrusive but didn’t say anything about it. at the end of the day, she was helping people and they seemed happy, so just kept his mouth shut about his opinions.

soon enough, the liones siblings and lancelot slowly hung out less and less as they all became increasingly busy with their training as knights of the prophecy.

when lancelot and tristan were assigned to go find the last two knights of the apocalypse, she secretly tagged along with lancelot, although the fairy was already aware of her presence; he could hear her thoughts from a mile away.

despite his original weariness of her, lancelot didn’t seem to mind having her around as much as he thought he would. she turned out to be really good company; he hated to admit it, but she was funny, he almost tried to persuade her into becoming a comedian rather than continuing on as a knight.

when they eventually managed to find cute lil’ percival, it was like she had cloned herself and split her brain cell, because those two were birds of a feather; optimistic and stupid as fuck. but they were cuties so he’d give them a pass.

during their time together, lancelot, albeit reluctant to come to terms with it, found that she was starting to grow on him. he’d find himself always listening to whatever thing she was rambling on about, making sure she’s alright during or after a battle with chaos knights, and making sure that she doesn’t walk into another tree like she did last time. he also found himself becoming a little more protective of her than usual. he knows that she can protect herself, but seeing her hurt kind of angers him in a way; a way that he can’t describe.

as someone who deals with love and everything in the sense of the word, the cupid!reader already knows the telltale signs of a crush, no matter what type of person they might be. she couldn’t help but feel giddy when she noticed some of the signs in lancelot’s recent behaviour towards her; having liked him for the longest time.

by the time they and the percival platoon reached liones, there was a significant change in the relationship between lancelot and the cupid!reader; the both of them being easily mistaken as lovers. this change in their relationship didn’t go unnoticed by the rest of the royal family or the tristan platoon. and at the realization that something might be going on between the two, a spark of protectiveness was lit within the king and prince.

during the showdown with arthur pendragon, she had sustained some serious damage whilst trying to evacuate the citizens, which further fueled lancelot’s hostility towards the king of chaos.

after getting healed and put on bed rest, lancelot made sure to stick by her side, not wanting to take his eyes off her for a minute. it was bad enough that percy had lost slight control when he and the rest of the platoon almost got taken out by isolde and co. he still needs to get back at that bastard chion for all the ruckus he'd caused.

“you know that i’m perfectly fine now, right? you don’t need to follow me around like this, lance.”

while you don’t mind the attention you’re getting from lancelot, it is getting increasingly hard to mask how flustered you're becoming. you wish that he could tone it down just a bit so that your heart doesn’t burst out of your chest.

“i’m not taking any more chances with you. you’re always getting hurt in one way or another, you damn klutz,” he grumbled, lightly flicking your forehead and snickering when your lips curl into a pout.

“hey! that’s mean—“

“watch it!” lancelot’s arm shoots out to grab your waist, pulling you into his side to prevent you from walking straight into one of the cracks in the middle of the road, curtsey of arthur’s attack earlier. he raises an eyebrow, looking down at you with a ‘see what i mean?’ expression.

“you should pay better attention to your surroundings, princess. i’m not always going to be by your side to protect you,” he gives your waist a light squeeze, not letting go.

“yeah, yeah..” you mumble, trying to suppress your thoughts that had begun to run laps in your head from how close he was.

lancelot chuckled slightly as you tried (and failed) to hide your thoughts from him; one of them did pique his interest, however. “you think i smell nice, princess?”

you feel yourself die inside a little as your cheeks heat up in embarrassment. damn it, damn it, damn it.

at your embarrassment, he lets out a louder laugh. “you never fail to amuse me, princess. but i must say, thank you for the compliment.”

“quit it. you’re being a jerk, lance...”

“you know you love me, princess. i know you do,” he presses a kiss to your cheek. you pause, your body going rigid as you try to process what he’d just done.

“did... did you just...” you stammer, unable to finish your sentence as your brain short circuits.

“kiss you? yeah, i did. you want another one?” he teased, leaning down so that your faces are inches away from each other.

“i—i..”

“your call, princess. i won’t kiss you unless you tell me to,” he murmured.

unable to form proper words, you nod. lancelot contemplates on teasing you some more, but decides against it for now. he presses a gentle kiss to your lips, his hand caressing your waist as he does. you kiss for a few seconds before pulling away from each other, both of you a little red faced.

“c’mon, let’s go see percy and the others.”

Lucifer/Diavolo

If you read my blog, you know I ship Dialuci. Diavolo and Lucifer have four kids. One boy and triplet girls. Luci didn't really want the last three, but via magical conception, Dia forced it.

Their oldest is named Demonio Barbatos Morningstar Rex. He looks almost exactly like Diavolo and acts exactly like Lucifer. He's the crowned prince, though he has no desire for the throne.

The oldest triplet is named Alecto Lilith Morningstar Rex. She has black hair and red eyes. Her skin is dark like Dia's and she has his smile, but she has Luci's feathered wings. She's very outgoing and wants the throne.

The middle triplet is named Megaera Azalea Morningstar Rex. She has black hair and pale skin, but other than that she looks like Diavolo (he has the strongest fucking genes, man). She's not outgoing, but she's not quiet either. She's a troublemaker

The youngest triplet is named Tisiphone Metztli Morningstar Rex. She has red eyes and tan skin, but she also looks a whole lot like Diavolo. She's on the quieter side and acts a lot like Satan.

Mammon

If you know my future au, you know that my MC(s) aren't in a poly relationship with all the brothers. I'll get to what each MC (Female, male, and non-binary) get up to later.

Mammon marries a siren demoness from the wrath ring named Aezorin (Zori for short). They have two daughters.

The oldest is Kairi Lorelei Idreius. She is a trans woman. She's very nice and responsible, but also has quite the temper. She has white hair and blue eyes like her father and the dark skin and height of her mother.

The youngest is Rezarta Marigold (Goldie) Idreius. She has gold hair and blue eyes, as well as lighter dark skin like her father. She's very chaotic and has the greed of her father. She's a siren.

Satan

Satan gets with a very nice, small albino bat greed demoness. Her name is Metztli (Metzi) Rex and she's the adoptive sister of Diavolo.

Satan really wanted to prove he could be a good dad to a son, so he adopted a boy named Neo Diavolo (chosen by Metzi) Morningstar.

Neo is a very traumatized little boy who's selectively mute (I think that's what the term is) He's a chameleon demon, so he copied his appearance to look like Satan.

Beelzebub

Beel gets married to a wonderful trans woman gluttony demon named Dahlia. She's a bee demon. Not important, I just like to mention it. They have three children. A daughter and twins.

The oldest is Chiyoko Lilith Toth. She's quiet and responsible. She takes care of her younger siblings. She's the oldest of all the kids. She has her mother's black and yellow hair and her father's pale skin. Her eyes are purple like her dad.

The twins are Yuzuki Belphegor Toth and Akino Lucifer Toth. Yuzuki looks a weird amount like Belphie and Akino looks like Beel. Yuzuki is the older boy and Akino is the younger girl.

Mephistopheles

Might as well include the Diavolo lover. He gets married to a fellow Duke named Dantalion Iram (Dante). If you want to learn more about that guy, go read Jealous Boy (shameless self promotion)

They have four kids. Two girls, two boys. I don't have names for them yet because I don't think about Mephisto, so if you have name suggestions, feel free to give them to me!

Simeon

Simeon ends up with M!MC (who also doesn't have a name...) They have one kid, a girl. She's named Riley. She looks mostly like Simeon with a bit of MC's characteristics.

You might be thinking. But Mars! What about everyone else? Well, everyone else doesn't have kids or I haven't made them yet. But! Here's who everyone ends up with.

Levi: Adra, who's a friend from his nerd clubs. They don't know whether they're dating or just friends. They don't have kids.

Asmo: Solomon and two other partners named Dev and Ari. Dev is an incubus and Ari is a succubus. They don't have kids.

Belphie: Aroace!! He lives with Beel, Dahlia, and their kids.

Barbatos: Aroace!! He takes care of the Dialuci kids when Luci is too exhausted and Dia is being the child he is at heart.

Raphael: Aroace!! He lives in the Celestial Realm

Thirteen: F!MC! MC becomes a reaper and they live happily ever after.

NB!MC: Aroace!! They're chilling in the human realm and learned how to be immortal from Solomon. They still hang out with him a lot.

Star Wars Rebels and Ezrabine

Since I'm an amateur writer making an uneducated guess, I'd like to discuss relationships in the Star Wars universe. It's probably one of the touchiest subjects in this community, right after the debate over which trilogy was better (prequel or sequel), whether Jar Jar Binks was necessary, or if the politics are actually garbage.

To be more specific, I want to delve into the relationship between Ezra and Sabine from Star Wars Rebels. You might know them as Ezrabine or Sabezra. They're one of the hottest topics in pairings, right up there with Rey and Ben/Kylo. While the latter pair is something I deeply disapprove of, I'm neutrally conflicted about Sabezra.

Before I dissect the relationship itself, I'd like to touch on three points that people often criticize or discuss. Please bear with me; I'm a bit sleep-deprived.

Ages:

Quoting from Quora: "Han's official year of birth is 'ca. 32 BBY,' which means he's anywhere from ten to thirteen years older than Leia." This suggests that the most iconic couple in Star Wars had a notably significant age gap. "Padmé was born in 46 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin), and Anakin's miraculous Force-created birth came in 41 BBY, so Padmé is five years older than him." Yet another iconic couple, with a substantial age difference. Hera and Kanan are yet another example, with Hera being four years older.

Headcanons:

I understand that people want Sabine to be a lesbian, and I can empathize with that desire. As a queer Star Wars fan myself, I comprehend the need for characters with similar journeys and identities. However, while having headcanons, it's crucial to remember that they are personal interpretations. They don't become canon for everyone just because you envision them that way. You're free to explore your own headcanons, and if others agree, that's even better. But ultimately, headcanon remains just that—headcanon.

For instance, my personal headcanon includes Ahsoka being aroace, or at the very least, completely asexual bisexual. And I believe Luke Skywalker isn't straight at all. I mean, have you seen the boots he wore for his own execution? Come on!

Relationships in Star Wars:

When we examine relationships in the Star Wars universe, we discover a wide array. These range from parent-child relationships, sibling bonds, adopted families, found families, to romantic love in various forms, ages, and situations. Tragedy often follows these relationships:

Ashoka and Anakin: Master and Padawan, Brother and Sister, Tragedy.

Obi-Wan and Satine: Jedi and Senator, Lovers, Tragedy.

Padme and Anakin: Senator and Jedi, Tragedy.

Kanan and Hera: Jedi and Rebel, Tragedy.

Yoda and Dooku: Master and Padawan, Tragedy.

This list goes on endlessly, and it's filled with sorrow.

Most of the significant Star Wars relationships are fraught with tragedy.

The relationship within the Ghost crew can be described as follows: "The crew of the Ghost in Star Wars Rebels has always been a family. They aren't related by blood, and they didn't come from the same homeworlds, but they are bound together by a common cause, respect, trust, and love." This is how Amy Richau described them in an article on StarWars.com.

From what I've gathered, the found family dynamic within the Ghost crew evolves with each member. 

Take Kanan, for example. While Hera is his girlfriend and wife, Chopper is a quirky, psychopathic pet, and Sabine is like a surrogate daughter, Kanan's relationship with Ezra is that of a Padawan and Master to the highest degree. A master plays a role akin to that of a father but maintains the mentorship for training and respect, which involves clear emotions but also a deeper line.

Hera takes on the role of a self-proclaimed mom, offering kindness in the harsh times of rebellion. Zeb is mostly like the older brother who spotted you as a newbie at school and decided to lend a helping hand, providing support and having your back.

What I'm trying to convey is that while the Ghost crew is undoubtedly a family under any circumstances, the relationship between Ezra and Sabine doesn't fit the sibling mold, especially not from Season 3 onward. There's a reason I believe Ezra still has feelings for Sabine, at least until the Ahsoka Episode 4 standpoint. 

From Season 3 onward, we witness Ezra's transformation. He matures, learns, and fully embraces his role as a future Jedi. He's no longer the kid the crew rescued on that planet, nor does he try to flirt with Sabine like some awkward neighbor kid. He's become an integral part of their close-knit community.

He and Sabine are equals, and he's no longer the young person Sabine takes under her wing in an older sisterly manner. They fight as rebels together, as comrades in the same community. Perhaps they sense a familial bond through the crew, but no dialogue from either of them implies a sibling relationship. They haven't been written with sibling energy, unlike the dynamic between Ahsoka and Anakin or Leia and Luke in the 6th movie.

In Season 3, there are moments that could have established them as siblings to emphasize the family connection. Take, for instance, when Ezra meets Sabine's family during the Mandalorian arc, and he talks to Sabine's brother for the first time. Instead of introducing himself as Sabine's brother, it comes off more like a boy meeting his Gfs family.

There might be counterarguments, as in Season 4's beginning when Ezra and the other Mandalorians rescue Sabine's father. Ezra doesn't claim to be family; he implies that he isn’t in a romantic relationship with Sabine. However, the fact that Ezra never alludes to a sibling relationship is intriguing. The end of Rebels, where it's just between Ezra and Sabine, further adds complexity to the situation, with how he decides to confide in him and him only.

There may have been something in the works discussed in the directing room, but then why is there a sudden shift to a sibling relationship in Ahsoka? It's hard to believe that after not allowing Ezra to introduce himself as Sabine's brother, they now suddenly introduce that element again. There are some theories out there that could explain why Sabine scoffs instead of reacting fondly when he says he's her brother. It's all quite frustrating.

While there's undoubtedly a sense of familial connection within the Ghost crew, the relationship between Sabine and Ezra has taken on a different dimension. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, as there are moments missing for that kind of build-up. Some scenes, the way they're animated, shot, or the dialogue they share, indicate a different dynamic. 

But there's also no clear groundwork for a sibling relationship, and considering Star Wars' storytelling and penchant for twists, it wouldn't be surprising if it turned out to be a setup.

The divide within the fandom over the years has also made it challenging to establish this relationship. And keeping it ambiguous didn't help as we know how fandoms like to rip each other apart.

But in the end, it's a story. Let's stay calm, take a deep breath, and see how it unfolds. Let's keep the discussions civil and respect each other's viewpoints as we argue like pros!

Writing Requests Open

My "Friendsgiving" Event writing requests are coming along, and I have been enjoying writing them so much that I've decided to open up more requests. (My event will be continuing into December and possibly beyond...) 😊

I am including my detailed request rules below the cut, but, in summary, I will be opening requests for short stories or drabbles about platonic relationships (friendships or familial relationships) from Black Clover, Demon Slayer, or Fairy Tail (since I've just finished and have been hoping to try my hand at writing for it a bit). I'm also open for taking requests for headcanons as long as they're safe for work and include 5 characters or less.

Fairy Tail (anime & "Lightning Gods" side-manga only! Please note that I have also not read 100 Year Quest but would really like to)

Note: When requesting Black Clover or Demon Slayer please note whether you would not like information from the manga included since the anime is not caught up with it yet & I don’t want to accidentally spoil something by pulling on details from later in the story. I am happy to write for both anime & manga content or just one or the other. If you have a preference, please let me know. 

REQUEST RULES: 

–Requests can be for platonic relationships (friendships and family relationships) between canon characters, canon character(s) and the reader or canon character(s) and an OC. (Note: If you are requesting a story for canon character & your OC, however, please reach out to me so we can discuss the background information necessary for me to portray them properly.)

–Even if the characters in a request are in a canon or fanon romantic relationship with each other, they can still be included in the request. Just know that the request will only portray the relationship in a platonic way and would most likely take place prior to the development of the romantic relationship. (I know sometimes that line in ‘best friends to lovers’ relationships can get a little bit blurry so don’t worry! I’m just not comfortable writing romance yet so I’d just be writing the ‘best friends’ rather than the ‘to lovers’ part).

Honestly, it would have made more sense for the relationship between Nero and Kyrie to be like a sibling bond rather than a romantic thing.😞 The wiki states that Credo and Kyrie's family found Nero as a baby and raised him, which means he literally grew up with Credo and Kyrie all his life. So, basically, Credo and Kyrie's family adopted Nero when he was a baby; if you grew up alongside someone like that, you're going to see that person as a sister rather than a love interest, just as he would see Credo as a brother. The alternative just seems strange to me.🤷‍♀️

In my opinion, having made it a sibling type bond would have been more powerful connection, and it also would have eliminated the cliche, overused trope of "main character has to rescue their love interest" Maybe it would have even given her the chance to be her own character a little more rather than existing solely as "Nero's love interest".

All the Jellicles I ship together (+ my headcanons for them)

Alonzostrap – With Alonzo as his right hand working alongside him as a Jellicle Protector, I think they'd get along well.

Altugger – Alonzo yearns, but his pride stops him from approaching Tugger.

Casslonzo – Good for them, being slinky together.

Munkoffelees – Yeah, Munk might also be dating his brother, but it somehow works out.

Tuggoffelees – I guess it's even with Munk since he's dating his brother too. Munk and Tugger are fine with keeping their relationships with Misto seperate, but that doesn't stop them from spending time all together.

Demestrap – Husband and wife. No qualms here.

Demelurina – Bombalurina knew Demeter longer than anyone else, but they haven't gotten married yet. Demelurinastrap do spend time together, but Munk and Bomba mostly devote their attention to Demeter.

Mungoteazer (Not related to each other) – They were conjured to life from scrap puppets, by Macavity to do his bidding. Rather than being made as siblings, they were made for each other, and it all works out.

Munkujerrie – Munkustrap has a crush on Mungojerrie, but they haven't realized their pining is mutual yet. The extent of their relationship thus far has been mostly sexual, with bits of "I love you but I can't stand you," thrown in.

Victeazer + Mungotoria – Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer may be a bad influence on Victoria, but what kitten can live without a little roving here and there? Those two are a very convincing package deal.

Platoria – Young lovers. Plato was Victoria's first mate, and she couldn't be happier. They just adore each other.

Platugger – Their relationship is mostly sexual, but there's genuine love between them. They just have to explore each other on a more serious level to realize.

Skimbledots – Aunt and uncle duo who may've adopted all of the Junkyard.

There's a lot of overlapping here. Munkustrap seems to be involved in most of these, and with the busy life he leads, how could he possibly make enough time for everyone?

Well, I like to think they sometimes all spend time together. But that would be a lot to manage thinking about it now.

There's never really enough time in the night/day. So what's easier than having them all spend time together at once? Maybe not all of them at once, but different pairings for different days, depending on which lover they happen to catch that day.

These cats aren't the most picky about their partners — and they all understand they lead different lives. Living together in the Junkyard just makes it easier to manage that.

How they manage to spend time together (+ extra rambles LOL):

Demelurinastrap definitely share a den. Demeter is usually out with Bomba during the day, and Munkustrap can always come home after the night is over and curl up in bed with them if he chooses. He spends a significant amount of time there when he's not busy.

Alonzostrap sometimes do their patrols together, though Alonzo is usually in charge of the day and Munk has the night.

Alonzo is welcome to spend as much time as he pleases at his brother Misto's den, but this sometimes results in Munk dropping by while they're both around. It's not that they're uncomfortable knowing they're sharing the same cat, but I imagine they like to keep it seperate for the most part.

Tugger and Misto also share a den, and Munkustrap occasionally comes by there as well. They're less concerned to be sharing Misto, and it's not unlikely you'll find them in a cuddle puddle.

Platoria prefer one-on-one time together, so Vic-Teazer-Jerrie usually go off to do their own things instead of spending time all together.

Mungojerrie and Munkustrap's time together is often short, passionate, and rushed. They want more time together, want to try being more, but neither of them are ready to admit that yet.

Out-of-DL!Kazuha Headcanons

[Admin!Danny: OH, BOY! Prepare for this one, because there’s much more pain for Kazuha than Mystic. And her story changes a lot due to the lack of a father.]

ᴋᴀᴢᴜʜᴀ ʟᴀᴜʀᴇɴᴛ, ᴛʜᴇ ғᴏʀɢᴏᴛᴛᴇɴ ᴘʀɪɴᴄᴇss

After Kazuha’s father dies of a mysterious and incurable illness—alongside his family (except his brother, who was killed in war)—the crowd turns to her mother, Elle Laurent, a powerful witch with blood connections to the royalty. They accuse her of having created this sickness, spiteful of the family’s treatment to her and her daughter.

The accusations, though untrue, created a violent crowd wanting to kill them both in retribution of Kazuha’s father’s family.

This forces Elle to run away with Kazuha and go into hiding for a long time. The luxurious life they knew under the care of their husband/father is left forgotten as they find themselves sleeping in slums and rundown, abandoned homes.

Elle had been kicked out of the status her parents had left for her in the family before they passed, due to having a child out of wedlock with a man “not fit” for her. So, after they were scared out by an angry mob threatening death for both, they really had nowhere to go.

From then on, Kazuha adopted her mother’s name: Laurent. She refused to let go of the name his father had given her. Making her: Kazuha Laurent. She does tend to use “Kassandra” as an alias when out in public.

Kazuha was decently young at the time this all went down, having the appearance of a kid midway down their teenager years.

By then, her entire personality had been built. Like always, she is poise, calm and collected, but a hothead. She does tend to think things through before acting—that’s how she was raised, after all—but will blow up without notice.

The kicker here being, Kazuha doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty now. She would still prefer not to, if given the option. But she will if she has to. And she will make it as enjoyable as possible for herself.

The more the mother and daughter pair venture through the Demon Realm, Kazuha learned of an underground kingdom directed by none other than that one maid who took care of her and then went on to become he uncle’s lover.

She sent a letter via one of the Familiars (who are basically the only companions they had after being chased out). After receiving a response, welcoming into the kingdom, the family reunited at last.

Kazuha is still the little girl DJ took care of and Elle is still the same friend she had all those years ago, but now they look battered. Their clothes are shabby and nothing like the fancy dresses they wore once in the past. They themselves are covered in grime from head to toe, setting to questions just when was the last time had a decent bath.

DJ demanded for answers as to how they ended up like this and Elle proceeded to answer, causing the Queen breakdown in tears out of pity for the two. At that moment, Kazuha saw something she hadn’t in a long time: her mother crying, desperately clinging to her old friend.

The cousins relationship is rocky as always. They have good and bad days—much like siblings—but the fact that they would give their lives for the other has never changed.

Kazuha takes care of correspondence in the castle and sorts it out for the queen and king. All to have something to do as a thanks for taking them in. Now she didn’t have to worry about hers or her mother’s safety every time they laid to sleep. She didn’t have to worry about what they would eat or how they could get it.

I’m still not sure if she will start those business of bounty hunter (where she would hire Mystic to work for her), but it’s very possibly that I make it happen.

The only relationship that I’ll mainly be reblogging is Dickkory, I mean are you kidding me? Those two were together for 14 years, fourteen years

Barbara was way older than Dick and she was dating a freaking politician, and not only that she was originally closer to Bruce’s age, DC really retconned her and her age so that they could have a female love interest who will connect him to the Batfamily

Oh, and you did you know that whole thing with Mirage wasn't even planned? Dick and Kory, were going to get married and have a miniseries exploring them transitioning into being a married couple, and instead, we got what we got which was a hot dramatic mess served on a platter and not to mention it gave birth to the headcanon that Kory is a possessive and jealous lover which is so far from the truth

Dick is married to Kory in so many different universes and even has kids in a couple of them and yet the perfect couple is Dick and Barbara 🧐. And not to mention that Kory was Dicks first serious love and relationship.

The more that I learn about these two the angrier I get because they are perfect for each other, they truly were made for each other, and you know DC has just been keeping them apart because they're worried that fans will drop their books. When in fact it's the opposite, we're already skeptical of the new books out especially now that Dick has a blood sibling for some reason, and honestly, I would have loved to see Dick and Kory rather than Dick and Barbara, because how many times do I have to say that instead of trying to appease us by giving us some cute Dickbabs moments they should be working on rebuilding their relationship as friends then going from there instead of “oh I just got the first book, I can't wait to see the character arcs and new development between- oh they are already in a relationship” like it just doesn't feel satisfying and organic, instead it feels like you got these characters names but the writer is just flipping and changing so much about them to the point that you have to question whether or not Dick/Babs would do this or let this happen to them and the answer is no! And if this is supposed to be Dicks time to shine without the Batfamily and this book is supposed to show how he's a hero in his own rights, then why have him get with Babs in the first place 🧐 why have her play the role of being the link between him and the family? And before anyone says “but Slashy she isn't a link to the bat family for him” Yes she is! Barbara at most is just a really good family friend, that's it, she wasn't adopted into the family, she's not a long-lost cousin or anything like that but why is she still a link into the family? Because Dc retconned her to be in this role, again she was closer to Bruce's age, she was married at one point in time and she viewed Dick as being a pretty young face at the time, and when people say Dc retconned her multiple times just so she could say in the bat family THEY ARE NOT LYING! they indeed retconned her character so many times so that they had a backup “pretty girl” for Dick when he already had Kori. And now Babs is forced to be in this limbo of “I like him * her current lover of the series* but he isn't like a certain someone 😔” and meanwhile Dicks over here like “ wow I think I've finally met someone *insert very traumatic event* I thought I had finally found love and now I have no one again” and I could tie this into how he feels alienated from his “family” so he seeks that familial love from a different place but that's a different post for a different day, but with Kori and the Titans he knew exactly where his place was. He had so much love, support, trust, and guidance from so many people it wasn't even funny, heroes loved and adored him and would stop what they were doing just to help him out if he needed/asked for it, and honestly, it would make a lot more sense for Dick and Kory to team up because she's not tied to the family in any way and she would serve as a link to the titans instead of the bat family .

I got some ideas/headcanons for Max and his family life I thought I’d share

- Max has approximately 37 siblings, out of all of them, Max is the youngest

- out of his family, Max would be considered the calm and collected one, as the rest of his family is on a whole other level of violent insanity than he is.

- as a teen Max picked up a habit of smoking, half of the people in his house smoke to ‘wind down’ so Max took it up as a stress reliever, thinking it was just normal to do so, but it upset Sam, even now years later, so Max rarely ever smokes around him, though Max hasn’t completely dropped the smoking habit, some habits are hard to break as they say.

- Max has always had a particularly bad relationship with his father especially, for as long as he can remember, nothing ever seemed to be good enough for him, other than the fact Max’s father is an awful parental figure, he’s also a bigot in every sense of the word, he would always call Max too soft, too emotional, kept saying he wished Max was more like his older brothers and sisters, Max hated being in the same room as him ever since he was a kid.

- Max’s relationship with his siblings is not much better from his relationship with his father, he was always pushed around, both figuratively and literally, the relationship with his older brother, Rico, who was the second youngest, was especially bad, Rico would pull on his ears harshly, put traps in his room leaving Max injured of some kind before breakfast, mocked him for being the smallest, even for a lagomorph his age, not to mention insulting Max about every little thing from being too soft and not nearly as violent as Rico or his other siblings, to being too overly emotional for someone in this family. Max hated Rico even as a kid, but Rico was always his father’s favorite child.

- Max didn’t see his mom as much as his other relatives, she would just from one violent crime to the next, but whenever she was home, she would always try and drag Max or his siblings into whatever conversation topic she could think of, Max once had her talking to him and she went on about how love was meant to be violent and your lover attacking you out of seemingly nowhere was ‘how you knew they cared’ being so young Max took this all the way to adulthood i.e. when he will sometimes use violence to show affection.

- The only family member Max likes was his Great-Grandpa Maximus, he never got to meet him of course, but his Great-Grandma Josephine would tell him stories, being told he reminded her of him for once made him happy, she would speak how Maximus was a bit more on the mellow side compared to the rest of the family with a more ‘controlled chaos’ but had a heart of gold, she has no doubt in her mind that Maximus would’ve loved Max.

- Max’s family had moved from Chile to America when Max was five, Maximus’ side of the family had been in New York for a time, after Maximus’ disappearance/death, many of Maximus’ children, as adults, moved back over to their Chile homeland up until Max was five and his family decided to travel to America for better ‘jobs’ it was only weeks after coming to America when Max was thrown into the 3rd grade in the middle of the year, he didn’t go to school prior and didn’t know much English, just could read some words. Thankfully that very day he met Sam.

- growing up, Max would usually spend more time at Sam’s house than his own, at some point in late elementary, Max would make a habit of sneaking into Sam’s house by the window, but Sam’s family never minded, Sam’s parents and Granny Ruth heard about how Max’s family is, and felt sympathy for the kit, always letting him stay as long as he wanted, Sam got used to Max sneaking into the house via his bedroom window and would not be too surprised to wake up to either Max sneaking in or Max clinging to him asleep in the early morning.

- sneaking/spending time at Sam’s house became more frequent when the two were in high school, Max’s home becoming less enjoyable to be at the more he grew up, by this point Sam’s parents had given Max his own home key for the house, preferring him not to constantly sneak in through the window.

- Sam visited Max’s house once, he could tell Max wasn’t very happy there, his resting grin was more strained, he looked tired, and didn’t have the usual burst of energy Sam would usually see from his Little Buddy.

- Max couldn’t wait to move out, as soon as he was 18, he moved in with Sam, it was his birthday. Not that his family seemed to notice, Sam and his family were the only ones that celebrated Max’s birthday.

- Even now, Max gets occasional calls from his family, all of which he dreads answering, and every few years Max has to go to a family reunion which he insists on going alone to, not wanting Sam or really anyone he gives a damn about to have to deal with his horrible family. It’s an unbearable few hours and always gets home in a worse mood than when he left, but Sam always knows how to make him feel better, a call or visit to Sam’s family always brightens Max up especially.

- Max is actually quite good with kids, he tends to adopt almost on instinct, a part of him wanting to give a kid a better childhood than he had, and a bigger part of him doesn’t want to be like his own parents.

Headcanon, part 2

So, I’ve seen a few posts in which ZiZhen has plenty of siblings due to his dad being old and all, and I raise you with: ZiZhen has many moms.

A total of 6, to be precise, would have been 7 if his own mother had survive. So here’s the thing:

1 - ZiZhen is an only child.

2 - His father realized, after marrying his third wife, that the problem of conception does not lie with the women he beds but with his own genetic. He’s still hoping it might happen with the right woman though. 

3 - ZiZhen is pretty much a miracle baby from an infertile (but not sterile) father.

4 - His mother was the first wife. After she died, the second concubine got that title. The third concubine arrived a year after the first wife’s death. 

5 - Ouyang Dad still tried to have more kids, marrying 3 more women, yet never earning any results (3 more instead of 2, because 4 is a bad omen). 

6 - He would have kept only those, but his fourth wife got badly sick and she was expected to die within the year. Not wanting to keep only 4 women in his household (again, bad omen), he took another wife during that time. The fourth wife survived, and they are now 6 in total. 

7 - All the wives, fully aware they’ll never have a child of their own unless Ouyang Dad adopts (which is unlikely), dotes on ZiZhen like he is their own son. 

8 - The second concubine, now first wife, was raised in the Meishan Yu sect, although not part of the main Yu clan. Her family has been part of the sect for three generations. She is the third daughter.

9 - When the Second Concubine married into the Baling sect, ZiZhen’s mom was still childless. She got pregnant with ZiZhen a year or so after the arrival of the Second Concubine, who also remained childless.

10 - ZiZhen knows many stories of his mother through the bedtime tales of the Second Concubine.

11 - The third concubine is from YunMeng. She was a dancer, born from a rogue cultivator, who taught her to train her golden core, and a dancer, who taught her the skills she made a livelihood of after her parents death when she was 16. She was 19 when she joined the OuYang household. 

12 - She and the Second Concubine slowly fell for each other and became lovers. 

13 - ZiZhen once caught them kissing. They both told him beautiful stories of soulmates and how easily those bonds can be broken by the cruelty of the world. ZiZhen listened with rapture and promised never to tell a soul about what he saw, for his aunties were true soulmates. (Yes, they both manipulated ZiZhen into not telling his father of what he saw).

14 - That moment sparked ZiZhen’s interest in love stories and slowly shaped him into the romantic he is. 

15 - He later understood what Second and Third concubine truly meant by their story. It fueled his passion for WangXian more than anything. 

16 - The Fourth Concubine was from the Chang clan. She got sick after hearing of their horrible death at the hands of Xue Yang, and how the latter escaped justice for it. Her cultivation has always been weaker than most, which is why she was thought to die from her pain, but, with the help of Second and Third Concubines, she got through. Her body still does not allow her to travel very far, but she enjoys taking long walks in the gardens of the previous First Wife, lovingly tended to by she and the other concubines. 

17 - During her recovery, she began to write stories to keep herself entertained.

18 - ZiZhen is her most fervent fan, always poking in her rooms to have a sneak peek of her next story. 

19 - Because of the involvement of the Jin Clan in the absence of justice for the Chang, she is the most suspicious of the budding relationship between ZiZhen and Jin Ling. While not outright disagreeing, she always keeps her eyes open to any clues that might tell Jin Ling is not right for ZiZhen.

20 - The Fifth Concubine is the 5th daughter of a rich Baling family. She was raised in the sect, developing a strong core, often helping Young Master ZiZhen, age 14 by now, to train. At age 25, still unmarried, the Fifth Concubine was noticed for the first time by OuYang Dad, on a day she actually bothered to dress nicely. She went back to what I would call an “Ancient Chinese Butch Look” shortly after the wedding. 

21 - Fifth Concubine then proceeded to thoroughly seduce Second, Third and Fourth Concubine into a relationship all together. Their laughter can often be heard in the courtyard linking each of their pavillion together. 

22 - Sixth Concubine was a rogue cultivator herself. Fifth Concubine saw her at the market one day. They talked and fell in love. Fifth Concubine, with the help of Second, Third and Fourth, who also met Sixth and were charmed, managed to convince her husband to take Sixth in with them. “Four is a bad omen husband, you need another one of us!”

23 - When Fourth fell sick, that’s when OuYang Dad hurriedly tried to find Seventh Concubine. She was a merchant’s daughter, selling her father’s ware at the market. Ouyang Dad tried to haggle something much cheaper than it was worth. She stood her ground. He asked to marry her. 

24 - She refused at first. “I am not a cultivator, what am I bringing to you?” OuYang Dad, at this point trying one last time before calling it quit, decided that maybe it would work, a baby with a non-cultivator. 

25 - It did not work. But Seventh is pretty happy with her lot. She’s well taken care of, especially by the other concubine who all warmly welcomed her, and they all promised to take care of her the same, even once she’s old and grey. 

26 - So ZiZhen is really well loved by his father’s remaining 6 wives. That’s where he gets his “Respect Women” juice from. 

27 - The only reason why he’s been feeling down lately with his father’s expectations and mistreatment is because said father also cut the time ZiZhen is allowed to spend with them, he has “Sect Related Duties” now, he doesn’t have the time to play around anymore. 

28 - The Wives eventually called bullshit. ZiZhen has been feeling better ever since. 

29 - OuYang Dad is painfully oblivious to his Wives relationship together. He is just happy none of them are giving him any headaches. 

30 - One day, Jiggy went to Ouyang Dad and congratulated him on the harmony of his household. Jiggy, of course, thought he would be subtly blackmailing OuYang Dad with the scandal of his wives together (where did he learnt that? Fuck if I know!), but Oblivious OuYang just smiled and thanked him, which kinda messed up Jiggy’s plan. Not that he needed to blackmail Sect Leader OuYang, but it’s always useful to do so. Anyway, Jiggy left the conversation thinking Ouyang Dad thought everyone knew already and he was happy with it. 

31 - Eventually, Ouyang Dad DID learn the truth, well into ZiZhen’s 20′s. He got mad for about 5 minutes before calming down. “At least they can’t get pregnant from this, it won’t bring me any shame.”

32 - He lets them be, especially since they let him be. He enjoys his quiet evenings away from whatever his wives are doing. 

33 - Which is ironic considering he is friends with one of the loudest mouths in the Cultivation world, Sect Leader Yao. 

34 - All the wives avoid him like the plague whenever he visits Baling. 

35 - All the wives having a golden core, they go to Night Hunts together from time to time. Seventh sometimes tags along despite not having a golden core, while Fourth tends to stay at home after her sickness. 

36 - They are all very careful though, since they know ZiZhen’s mother died during a Night Hunt and they all promised ZiZhen they would not be careless.

37 - ZiZhen started calling the Concubines “Autie”, but one day, he accidentally called Fourth “Mom”, and all the others got jealous and wanted to be called “Mom” too, so he now calls them First mom, Second mom, Third mom, etc.

38 - He uses a different, more childish word when talking about his deceased birth mother. 

Aaaaaand that’s it for tonight folks! I know some of what I’ve written gets change a little now that I have this headcanon in mind, but I’ll keep this for whatever’s coming next in the OG world (well, canon-divergence world now XD). See you guys soon with some new OS!

Sorry for interrupting the Ronald simping lol. But I was thinking how things would play out if Sebastian was Vincent's butler instead. Hmmm.

That's an interesting question, anon! I'm not sure what the circumstances for such a bargain would be; I only see Vincent sacrificing his soul out of dire necessity. However, for the purposes of these headcanons, let's assume that Rachel, Dee, and the twins are all still alive, as are the staff who worked at the estate before the canon fire. Vindeechel is also a thing because I say so. 😉

As is the case with O!Ciel in the manga, Vin's and Sebas's relationship is characterized by intense psychological warfare. However, they grapple on more even footing since Vincent is an adult and already has years of Watchdog experience under his belt. But Sebastian doesn't mind. Having such a tough master just makes the game that much more interesting.

Sebastian deliberately adopted his current appearance to annoy Vin. The demon joked, "I am my master's shadow, after all, so I assumed a darker, more handsome version of you would be appropriate." This has led to rumors that Sebastian is an illegitimate cousin or brother of Vincent's who was taken on as a servant out of pity. However, after Vin orders Sebastian to make a few of those wagging tongues disappear, people learn to keep the gossip to themselves.

One of the main ways in which Sebastian and Vincent vie for control is in their respective influence over the twins. R!Ciel and O!Ciel come to view Bassy as a surrogate uncle, though O!Ciel is by far the demon's favorite. This is partly because Sebastian is intrigued by O!Ciel's potential, but also because he grows genuinely fond of the boy (he'd die rather than admit it, of course). O!Ciel eventually becomes closer to Sebastian than to Vincent, a fact which the butler gloatingly hangs over Vincent's head—much to the earl's anger and horror.

Dee distrusts Sebastian from the beginning. He knows Vin well enough to understand that his relationship with the strange new butler isn't romantic, but he's unnerved by how possessive Sebastian is. Hence, there's still a bit of jealousy there. Diedrich suspects there's more to the story than his lover is telling him. But Vincent can't bring himself to hurt his partner with knowledge of the truth...even bastards sometimes have a heart.

Rachel isn't quite sure what to think of the butler. She has a gut instinct that something's "off" about him, but she's grateful for the presence of this competent new servant. He's saved her husband's life more times than she can count, and he's an excellent babysitter for the twins. Unlike Diedrich, who tends to be rude and hostile towards Sebastian, Rachel is gracious and kind to him. The demon sometimes feels a (very, very) faint twinge of guilt over the fact that he'll eventually kill this sweet lady's husband.

At first, the other servants regard Sebastian as an interloper. Unlike our Phantomhive servants, they don't owe him anything and were working at the estate long before the demon's arrival. But he's so stellar at his job that they develop a grudging respect for him.

Dogbastian (who's alive and well in this AU) growls and gets his hackles up whenever he and the demon are in the same room. Animals are often sensitive to the supernatural, and Sebastian the borzoi is a perceptive doggo. People are constantly getting Sebastian the butler and Sebastian the dog mixed up, much to Vin's amusement. That's why he gave the demon that name—not only to put him in his place by reminding Bassy that he's Vincent's "dog," but also to cause general chaos. 😈

As in canon, Frances is horrified by her brother's "slovenly" new butler. Vincent was already an incorrigible bastard sibling without Sebastian; now, he's even worse! Butler and master tag-team getting on Franny's nerves because they're awful like that.

Sebastian holds Vincent in higher regard than most of his previous masters. The crafty, blackhearted Watchdog is almost worthy of being his peer, and the two occasionally enjoy playing chess together if they're feeling companionable.

thoughts on loki ep 3: lamentis

my first thought when i saw C-20 at the beginning was the Framework...i might be a bit too obsessed with an aos/Loki crossover...

C-20 was sorta able to find out something was wrong. from what Sylvie said, that's pretty impressive.

i wonder if Sylvie uses magic similar to Wanda's. like if Wanda just uses it on a bigger scale. the mind illusions thing checks out. and i saw on youtube that another patron looks like Evan Peters, so maybe they're connected? but most likely they just hired a dude that happens to look like Evan Peters.

going back to that, the glitch in C-20's illusion was like the glitches in WandaVision

if this really is similar to Wanda in canon, that means Sylvie and other Lokis might be nexus beings (y'know, the very thing i shout about in tags because i want)

Okay, so Sylvie tried to enchant a minuteman, which means she must have assumed the TVA operates on the same physics as the timeline. So neither Lokis thought magic could possibly be impeded.

Sylvie really thought the TVA valued Loki and that they really wanted/needed him to stop her. so she threatened to kill him, just for Renslayer to give the go ahead. shows how little the TVA cares and it echoes Odin.

Lamentis 1 sounded cool because that is a very sci-fi-ey name. It means the star the planet orbits is called Lamentis and the planet is the closest planet. That's how we name lots of planets outside the solar system. so i appreciated that.

okay, lamentis is literally just the bi flag. but still lots of purple so i will claim it as ace as well.

okay, are they setting up a Loki/Sylvie romance? the way they framed the two when Sylvie tried to enchant Loki was how it's often done with kisses

Sylvie said with strong minds she has to do what she did to C-20 to enchant them, but she couldn't even do that with Loki. Which shows how powerful Loki is and how powerful the mind stone is.

i will die for more of Loki and Sylvie being chaotic together

Sylvie she said is an alias. Does this mean she is genderfluid but is female more often than male? i'm told some genderfluids are one gender more than the other, and i've considered Hiddleston's Loki to be predominantly male. Could Sylvie be the other way around? & born Loki but haven't changed her name? or have different names for different genders? and doesn't want to be called Loki when she's female because that's not her name as a woman?

literally i can't tell if they're setting up romance or sibling stuff.

i never thought i'd hear the word "savvy" from Loki. but, hey, if Jack Sparrow can say it, i'll allow it.

the effects for the gun that woman used look similar to Daisy Johnson's quakes. for a second i hoped for an aos crossover, but then i remembered that marvel hates it's non-Disney+ series.

i like the differences between Loki and Sylvie. Loki is less confrontational and more likely to mischief his way when Sylvie is more likely to rip the bandaid off and get it over with, if that makes sense. i think that Sylvie might just be so tired from living on the run, only going to apocalypses that she just wants to get it over with.

love is a serious theme throughout this episode. again, are they setting up a Loki/Sylvie romance? or will it be platonic or familial or something else?

Loki is very clearly not okay with the fact that so many people are being left to die, and i'm here for it

so the whole thing to get on the train i think is setting those two up to be a good duo. between illusions and enchantments, they can do a lot. and Loki was able to get them part of the way, and Sylvie the rest. i think it could be foreshadowing both of them needing to use their skills to work together.

Sylvie's reaction to Loki saying he wasn't told he was adopted. man, she was worried. she knows that that is messed up and i think she feels bad for Loki. she's probably imagining how her life would be different if she didn't know she was adopted.

sounds like Odin and Frigga weren't the adopters of Sylvie. Maybe the Lushtons? i don't know anything about them, just that Lushton is Sylvie's last name in the comics. so, yay for her for not having trash parents. unless they were, then sorry for Sylvie. at least they told her she was adopted. but if the Lushtons adopted her, how did they fall across a frost giant? especially the daughter of Laufey?

i've seen suggestions that the post man Sylvie is with could be Stan Lee since a couple cameos were of him as a post man. Maybe a younger post man, but he has less of a lifespan (if he is actually human in universe. i still like to think of him as the One Above All who just really likes to see the drama of things) than Sylvie, so she could be with him for a long time. maybe that's why Stan is always cameoing. he's just trying different things to try to find his love. and maybe he has a longer lifespan (he was in First Avenger) but not as long as Sylvie's so she still was there for most his life but he's dying soon. I actually like this headcanon a lot, i think it's sweet.

wait, i just realized. Loki gets a fight scene on a train. a superhero genre staple is a fight on a moving vehicle (bonus if it's a train). yay! Loki hasn't had this trope yet in any of his appearances. off screen before Infinity War, and i don't count his attempt to murder Thanos on the Statesman. but we can add that to his list of superhero tropes.

Sylvie explained the enchantment to Loki, which i think was a poor decision for her.

she said C-20's mind was hard to navigate to her original memories. maybe the TVA does something to the TVA agents that join them. maybe if Loki proved useful, they'd do it to Loki.

or maybe variants lose memory over time. Sylvie says something about her memory being like blips of a dream, but I don't remember the context. maybe over time variants lose their memories and only retain a few things. Sylvie is well down that process, Loki has had hardly any change, and those working for the TVA only have a few things to remind them.

Mobius absolutely was a jet ski enthusiast in the '90's when he was arrested, and he loved Josta.

Mobius has an interesting relationship with Renslayer. I wasn't sure if it was romantic or what. Maybe Renslayer looks like his lover from the '90's so he is flirty with her because of the faint memories he has.

Loki immediately catches on to the TVA agents not knowing they're variants. they think the Time Keepers created them. he knows that, Sylvie didn't. this immediately tells Loki that the Time Keepers are messed up.

possible redemptions for Mobius? B-15? C-20? when they find out they're variants?

so does C-20 know now? she kept saying "it was real" when Mobius found her in Roxxcart. maybe she had dreams of her life before, and Sylvie showed her that they were real?

the whole scene in the city was wild. so much color, lights, people, action, it was wild

loved the bit where Loki used telekinesis to stop the tower from falling on them.

there was a bit where Loki and Sylvie fought & their moves mirrored each other and gosh that was a nice touch.

Loki's reaction to the Ark's destruction. standing there in defeat while Sylvie walks away. wow. Tom. you are amazing.

How long will they last? - They would definitely last forever - like, if there is some kind of afterlife for them, they’ll be together there as well. 

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - I actually imagine that falling in love for them was a slow process, like it often can be with relationships like theirs, which start as friends and develop into a romance. They kind of had this thing where they knew they loved each other before they realized they were in love with each other. 

How was their first kiss? - It was actually a pretty simple moment. They were just...relaxing together, probably snuggling on the window seat in Glimmer’s room, when Bow just kind of...gave her a little peck on the lips. Glimmer was a little surprised at first, but she kissed him back shortly after, and they just...kept snuggling for a while longer.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Bow, and to steal an idea from my friend  tolstoyevskywrites he technically proposed twice. Once with a fairly simple ring that he literally shot through Glimmer’s window with a note asking her to marry him, and once later on with a fancier ring he made himself. She said “Yes” the first time, but he wanted to do it again, properly. 

Who is the best man/men? - Most likely a couple of Bow’s brothers, along with maybe Sea Hawk….And Swift Wind would probably insist on being “best horse” because excluding him would just be discrimination and rude.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - Adora is probaly one of them, and one of Bow’s sisters probably takes up the other spot (I still headcanon him as having brothers and sisters)

Who did the most planning? - Probably Bow did a little bit more, but Glimmer definitely offered her input a fair amount. Though, honestly, Castaspella probably made about as many decisions as either of them once she found out about the wedding. 

Who stressed the most? - Glimmer, without a doubt. Bow did his best to calm her down whenever he could. 

How fancy was the ceremony? -Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - No one was specifically not invited, though Glimmer did try and avoid her aunt finding out for as long as possible, just to try and avoid her taking over the preparations. 

Sex:

Who is on top? - They switch sometimes, but usually Bow’s on top.

Who is the one to instigate things? - Glimmer is the one who instigates things the most, particularly because she likes to…get Bow worked up during times she really shouldn’t, like during meetings. 

How healthy is their sex life? -Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now

How long do they normally last? - They normally go at least two rounds a night, though sometimes three. How long the rounds last really does depend on the night, and how quick or slow they want to go.

Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - They usually make an effort, and even if one of them “comes up short” one time, the other tries to make up for it the next time they have a chance to be intimate.

How many children will they have naturally? - They’d probably plan either two or three. I think Bow liked growing up with siblings and Glimmer used to think that she would have liked having a brother or sister, so they’d probably want more than one, but not so many that they’d feel totally overwhelmed. 

How many children will they adopt? - Probably none, not because they would be against the idea, but just because I don’t think it’d ever really cross their minds. That being said, if they were asked to foster a child or two, they would happily accept the offer.

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Bow, but he technically volunteers for diaper duty. He figures that since Glimmer has to feed the baby, the least he can do is let her get a little extra sleep while he changes the diapers. 

Who is the stricter parent? - Neither of them is exactly a pushover, but Glimmer tends to be a little more strict, taking influence from how her mom raised her growing up, even if she does try to give her own kids more freedom than she felt she had. 

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Bow is already Glimmer’s impulse control, so he’d just kind of automatically take that role for his children as well. 

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - They both remember and they take turns making the lunches. Glimmer is more likely to give them an extra snack, so the kids often ask her to make them more than they’ll ask Bow, but they each end up doing it about the same amount.  

Who is the more loved parent? - They’re both loved equally overall, but it depends on the specific child who they are closer to. And obviously neither of them is unloved by any of their children; they just have more in common with some of their kids than others. 

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - They both definitely try their best to attend, but Glimmer often has to deal with court stuff, so sometimes Bow has to go alone.

Who cried the most at graduation? - Definitely Bow. Glimmer might get emotional, but she does her best to not cry in public, while he just flat out doesn’t care.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Probably Glimmer, if only because her rank basically means she can use her power to get them out of trouble without any real issue.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Well, they have chefs to do most of the cooking, but between the two of them, if you’re talking specifically cooking and not baking, that’s Bow. 

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Neither is particularly picky in regards to food, but between the two of them, Glimmer might be slightly more picky.

Who does the grocery shopping? - They often go together, but Bow is the one who is more likely to do that particular chore on his own.

How often do they bake desserts? - Considering Glimmer has a sweet tooth, pretty much every other day, since they usually have leftovers from the previous night’s meal.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - They’ll eat either, but if they had to choose between the two, probably go a little more towards the meat dishes.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Bow would be the one to actually get away with doing the surprise, just because he’s a better cook. Plus, he can usually get a little more free time to make the meal.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Glimmer, though Bow is pretty much never actually against the idea

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - Neither, though Glimmer is probably more likely to set off the smoke alarm

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Glimmer will help, but Bow is the one who just sort of instinctively tidies up. It’s a habit he picked up after so many times of cleaning up Glimmer’s room while listening to her rant about her mom.

Who is really against chores? - Neither of them is against chores, though Glimmer is more likely to put off doing them until the last minute. 

Who cleans up after the pets? - Both of them. It was a joint decision to get pets, so they both take responsibility for them, including the messes they make.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - That is Glimmer, without a doubt. She usually cleans properly, but sometimes she puts it off for a little too long and just needs to hide everything until later.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Probably Bow, but Glimmer has been known to have her last minute stressing moments, especially if their guests are someone she wants to leave a good impression on.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Neither of them, because nobody who visits or lives there carries cash.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Probably Glimmer, but even then, not by much, and really only when she’s super stressed and needs a way to relax, since a hot bath reminds her a bit of the steam grotto at Mystacor.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - They take turns, but Bow does it more often, mostly because he likes to go out in the morning while Glimmer prefers to sleep in.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Every year unless they have something outside of their control that will keep them from doing so, and even then, they still try and do something, even if it’s not as big as they’d normally go for the holidays. But, whenever possible, they go all out. 

What are their goals for the relationship? - Nothing in particular, really. They just want to be together and grow and learn from each other for as long as they possibly can. But, ultimately, their main goal is just to be together and make each other as happy as they can.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Neither of them really sleeps that late, honestly. Bow is definitely the one who gets up earlier, but Glimmer is usually awake by ten even without him waking her. 

Who plays the most pranks? - Glimmer, mostly because it’s easier to get away with a prank when you can just teleport away from the scene and pretend you had nothing to do with it.
